First you are treated like air, while other guests are courted, then the waiter insults the customer and speaks disparagingly, the food (meat) was not cooked, the wait was long, the food was taken out again - all in all, never again, sorry.

Always a guest here. - easy access and parking options - varied menu with seasonal specialties - Prices have unfortunately increased somewhat in my opinion in recent years - I've never had anything to complain about in terms of quality or taste - a bit cramped and loud outside and inside; but always clean and well maintained - Service and kitchen quick, friendly and helpful. Highest praise at this point. Thank you and meal.

This is a restaurant near and dear to my heart. I was brought here as a child by my parents. I remember how good it was then and eating here now, it's just as scrumptious. The awesome staff spoke some English and they offer a menu that is translated. Top German restaurant to eat at if your looking for authentic German cuisine!

Die Sonne prallte Wir bestellten und fragten ob man den Sonnenschirm aufspannen könnte was mit einem klaren NEIN beantwortet wurde.Auf Nachfrage ob es einen Grund dafür gäbe gab es keine Antwort nur den Hinweis auf den Chef... Das essen kam schnell und in gewohnter Kupferhammer convenience Qualität. Beim bezahlen bemerkten wir nochmals freundlich dass es schön gewesen wäre nicht zum essen der prallen Sonne ausgeliefert zu sein. Fazit, der Chef stand meistens in der Tür und beobachtete die Szenerie...zu faul um auch nur einmal daran zu denken einen Sonnenschirm aufzuspannen Servicegedanke Fehlanzeige Das ist schade..

The food tastes great, the service is very friendly and the food is quick and good. Only three stars because it feels like the prices are increased and then the portions are reduced. The salad with the cordon bleu and second roast (both over 27 euros) is a joke. Tastes good and fresh but the quantity has been significantly reduced. It's just a stupid feeling and feels like a rip-off. It feels like the Cordon Bleu used to be bigger.

We were there with the motorbikes and got a coffee outside before opening time. On a second visit we also ate a cake. Was very tasty. There is also lunch, I can't say anything about that. But since it was well attended, I'm assuming it was tasty.

I always enjoy coming here. In winter in the rustic interior, outside in front of the restaurant or in the separate beer garden. The food is good and reasonably priced for the quality. The selection of drinks is good and the prices are okay. Parking spaces can sometimes be tight. The opening times are exemplary.

Habe mit meiner Frau die Bratkartoffeln mit Kräuterquark gegessen und habe den großen Salat dazu bestellt Der Salat war wie in einem Zeltvetkauf von einem Fußballspiel Frisch vom Plastikeimer rausgeholt und lieblos auf den Teller geknallt Die Bratkartoffeln waren zum Teil verbrannt Das war leider das zweite Mal Das ich enttäuscht wurde. Ich denke der Kupferhammer das wir kannten hat nicht mehr die Qualität Schade

For a family celebration on Sundays with 14 people at the reserved table. It was very crowded. Fish soup too reduced, or too salted... also a bit too thick. Pork fillet unfortunately the same...oversalted...Breaded schnitzel, tasted like old fat. We've eaten much better there, I don't know if it was the chef...or another tenant is there now. My dish was taken off the bill. Service is always friendly and quick. Cake was already out at 2 p.m., except for 1 piece. The prices are generally reasonable. There are few alternatives in Pforzheim.

Went to the wildlife park today and spontaneously went to this restaurant. It was very busy, but even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were still "accommodated" thanks to the friendly staff. The food was great and served quickly. We will come more often in the future, but with more time and of course make reservations.

What a great restaurant with really excellent food, drinks, cosiness and service. You can also come here for dinner at 3 p.m. (open all day) and end the afternoon after a beautiful hike in the Black Forest. Thank you and always happy :)

Very, very tasty, home-style cuisine, large portions at the best price. Very friendly staff and even with a full house, the food was on the table for everyone. Really recommended and certainly and happily again.

Always a good stopover for biking, whether it's a bike or a motorcycle

It was the first time that we had a delicious meal. The ambience was rustic and the service was very friendly and accommodating.

Soup and sauce from the packet and add salt. Croutons drowned in salad with sauce. Onions for roasting not browned. Burnt apple fritters. There's someone in the kitchen who doesn't know his business. Service itself tried to be friendly, but from half of the evening onwards it was more concerned with your own dinner and conversation than with the guests (glasses and plates are no longer cleared away, chairs are put up while guests are still sitting in the room). Apparently no boss was present or not interested. For the region, prices are rather high for poor quality. Overall not acceptable.

I go there often and can't complain. The waitresses are always friendly and funny. The food is always super tasty and inexpensive. Changing monthly passes motivate you to keep going. You can sit nicely outside, in front of the restaurant or "in the forest" on beer benches, but also rustically inside. The price-performance ratio is great. Can absolutely recommend it.

We've been coming to Kupferhammer regularly for years and have never been disappointed. Everyone will find something here. No matter whether vegetarian or not, small or large. I think the seasonally changing menu is great. We'd love to come.

Very unfortunate!!!! My food was too salty, I asked for it to be replaced and they brought me the same diluted with water. Unacceptable, they could tell me that the goulash dish is cooked like that and I should order something else. Of course I didn't eat it and I was charged for it. Too bad...

Middle-class restaurant with a long tradition. I was there again after several years. Food impeccable in terms of taste, presentation and price; Service impeccable. So everything is fine.

We were there for the first time yesterday, it was warm and cozy and beautiful, the service is incredibly fast and courteous, friendly staff, super tasty, salad was crisp and fresh and the atmosphere was perfect. It's not worth deducting a star, but the rooms are not barrier-free, that's my only criticism, and the marked vegetarian meals are only meat-free upon request/notice. Really okay in terms of price. We'll go again <3 Recommendation: Homemade spaetzle further recommendation: reserve!

You can eat good Swabian here. Service very friendly. I like to stop here when I'm passing through to or from Munich.

The service leaves a lot to be desired. The waitresses are in no hurry to serve you. On Sunday we were waiting outside for someone to serve us and although the waitresses saw us they didn't even come close. Until we had to go and ask them for a table. Even when they gave us a table it was very dirty and the waitress didn't even bother to clean it properly, leaving traces of bird droppings on the table. We have been to this restaurant several times but as of now we will never return. There are much better places where at least they serve you with a smile. The only saving grace is the food although it is nothing special compared to other places.

Ich gehe in den Kupferhammer seit mehr als 40 Jahren. Personal: Über viele Jahre die gleichen sympathischen Menschen, immer angenehm, positiv und freundlich. Atmosphäre: Bürgerlich und top. Atmosphäre im Aussenbereich: Vielbefahrene Strasse in der Nähe, aber trotzdem schön! Das Essen wir leider seit 40 kontinuierlich immer schlechter. Wobei: Es kommt sehr darauf an was man bestellt. Es gab mal ca. 10 Jahre, da war das Essen immer total versalzen, im Grunde unzumutbar, das ist jetzt nicht mehr das Problem. Der Beilagensalat ist wirklich gut. Insbesondere das Fleisch ist immer wieder von fragwürdiger Qualität und grenzwertig appetitlich. Pommes kann man essen. Die Spätzle im Kupferhammer sind leider die labbrigsten und lieblosesten, die man in ganz Baden-Württemberg bekommen kann - sehr schade!

I haven't been there since I was a child. We decided to stop at short notice. Service was friendly and fast, the ambience was historically beautiful, the food was good and the portion was sufficient. Gladly again.

Fantastic! The food was really delicious, the meat was cooked perfectly, the sauces were also fantastic. The spaetzle was homemade, the side dishes were specially served. It was really wonderful. The ambience was rustic and cozy, just the way we like it. The service was incredibly friendly It is possible to purchase a small game case for little money. Hello I was there for dinner late in the afternoon on Friday, August 16, 2024. The first impression, I think I will feel comfortable. I wasn't disappointed. Good citizen, which is praise. The staff are quick, friendly and attentive, even at the next tables. Even as a pensioner, you can't give up on your professional experience and have your eyes and ears open. The food was very good, tasty and visually there was nothing to criticize. Sanitary facility also clean. In short, I will come back to eat at the next CFR home game I attend.

The Kupferhammer is conveniently located for bicycle tours into the Würmtal, but it is DIRECTLY on the main road. It looks simply designed and a bit outdated. The Kaiserschmarrn we ordered probably never had any contact with milk, rather it was made with water and very few eggs. Service was very friendly and nice.

Onion roast with spaetzle (extra and homemade). Very tasty sauce, very good cooking point, well seasoned, very good temperature, large portion. My wife had saddle of veal steak with chanterelles (no photo). Very tender meat, relatively large chanterelles, very good sauce. Apple fritters with vanilla ice cream are also great, thick dough, also a large portion. Service was very good, we asked every course whether it was tasty. No long waiting times at 8 p.m. in the busy beer garden. Card payment accepted.

We took a break here on our bike tour from Nagold to Pforzheim. We were even able to charge our e-bike batteries here during our stay. The food and drinks were delicious and served very quickly. However, the prices are a bit too high. The ladies from Service was very friendly and accommodating. We were satisfied and will definitely come back to the Kupferhammer.

After a long time I was in the copper hammer again. The food is great, the portion was enough for me and the ladies in service have everything under control. The atmosphere is rustic but charming. It's a shame that the outside area isn't bigger.

As always everything was great. Price-performance is still right.

Hallo am Fr. 16.8.24 am Spätnachmittag war ich zum Essen da. Der 1.te Eindruck, ich denke ich werde mich wohlfühlen. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Gut Bürgerlich, was ein Lob ist. Das Personal schnell, freundlich und umsichtig, auch an den Nebentischen. Auch als Rentner kann man seine Berufserfahrung nicht ablegen und hat Augen und Ohren offen. Das Essen sehr gut, schmackhaft und optisch gab es nichts zu kritisieren. Sanitäranlage auch sauber. Kurzum, beim nächsten von mir besuchten Heimspiel vom CFR werde ich wieder zum Essen kommen.

The food was very tasty and was served to everyone at the table at relatively the same time. The waiters were very attentive until everyone at the table had eaten. Then we had to get up and get the waitress to come to our table to reorder. Which was probably due to the high number of guests. The price level is slightly higher but considering the quality it is okay. Ps. You should still work on the potato salad. That's definitely better ;)

I have been a guest at the Kupferhammer at irregular intervals for decades. I have always appreciated the restaurant because of the solid food and the short waiting times and enjoyed coming here, especially in summer, because of the beautiful beer garden. However, what I had to experience today was simply outrageous and unfortunately forced me to avoid the restaurant in the future. But one after anonther: As always, the food was good and came quickly. I had a Strasbourg sausage salad with fries. When ordering I was asked if I wanted the fries on the plate or separately. Since I don't like them floating in the broth of the salad, I chose the latter. In the end I was charged for the sausage salad plus a portion of fries, so I came to a total of 18.90 EUR. In my opinion, this price is not justified for a beer garden dish and is far too high. After asking, I was told in an unfriendly tone (the boss himself) that that was just the way it was and that I would have gotten more side dishes in return. What bothers me most, besides the price and the unfriendly manner of the boss, is that this is not pointed out when ordering. Ultimately I accept this, but with the consequences mentioned above. A pity!

The Kupferhammer restaurant has good home-style cuisine and was considered one of the best restaurants in Pforzheim for me. However, this statement is not reflected in the outdoor area - therefore in the beer garden next door. There is a very small food menu (basically okay from a logistical point of view) but if there is nothing going on then polite inquiries could be made. The only vegetarian options are tarte flambée or cheese spaetzle. I would have expected lentils and spaetzle, but that's not there. The seating wasn't cleaned either (we all had dirty bottoms) and upon request, seat covers are only reserved for the outside area of ​​the restaurant. Even when we specifically asked, we were told that this was not what the boss wanted. Plus points go to the friendly service staff. They really tried hard.
