Middle-class restaurant with a long tradition. I was there again after several years. Food impeccable in terms of taste, presentation and price; Service impeccable. So everything is fine.

We were there for the first time yesterday, it was warm and cozy and beautiful, the service is incredibly fast and courteous, friendly staff, super tasty, salad was crisp and fresh and the atmosphere was perfect. It's not worth deducting a star, but the rooms are not barrier-free, that's my only criticism, and the marked vegetarian meals are only meat-free upon request/notice. Really okay in terms of price. We'll go again <3 Recommendation: Homemade spaetzle further recommendation: reserve!

You can eat good Swabian here. Service very friendly. I like to stop here when I'm passing through to or from Munich.

The service leaves a lot to be desired. The waitresses are in no hurry to serve you. On Sunday we were waiting outside for someone to serve us and although the waitresses saw us they didn't even come close. Until we had to go and ask them for a table. Even when they gave us a table it was very dirty and the waitress didn't even bother to clean it properly, leaving traces of bird droppings on the table. We have been to this restaurant several times but as of now we will never return. There are much better places where at least they serve you with a smile. The only saving grace is the food although it is nothing special compared to other places.

Ich gehe in den Kupferhammer seit mehr als 40 Jahren. Personal: Über viele Jahre die gleichen sympathischen Menschen, immer angenehm, positiv und freundlich. Atmosphäre: Bürgerlich und top. Atmosphäre im Aussenbereich: Vielbefahrene Strasse in der Nähe, aber trotzdem schön! Das Essen wir leider seit 40 kontinuierlich immer schlechter. Wobei: Es kommt sehr darauf an was man bestellt. Es gab mal ca. 10 Jahre, da war das Essen immer total versalzen, im Grunde unzumutbar, das ist jetzt nicht mehr das Problem. Der Beilagensalat ist wirklich gut. Insbesondere das Fleisch ist immer wieder von fragwürdiger Qualität und grenzwertig appetitlich. Pommes kann man essen. Die Spätzle im Kupferhammer sind leider die labbrigsten und lieblosesten, die man in ganz Baden-Württemberg bekommen kann - sehr schade!

I haven't been there since I was a child. We decided to stop at short notice. Service was friendly and fast, the ambience was historically beautiful, the food was good and the portion was sufficient. Gladly again.

Fantastic! The food was really delicious, the meat was cooked perfectly, the sauces were also fantastic. The spaetzle was homemade, the side dishes were specially served. It was really wonderful. The ambience was rustic and cozy, just the way we like it. The service was incredibly friendly It is possible to purchase a small game case for little money. Hello I was there for dinner late in the afternoon on Friday, August 16, 2024. The first impression, I think I will feel comfortable. I wasn't disappointed. Good citizen, which is praise. The staff are quick, friendly and attentive, even at the next tables. Even as a pensioner, you can't give up on your professional experience and have your eyes and ears open. The food was very good, tasty and visually there was nothing to criticize. Sanitary facility also clean. In short, I will come back to eat at the next CFR home game I attend.

The Kupferhammer is conveniently located for bicycle tours into the Würmtal, but it is DIRECTLY on the main road. It looks simply designed and a bit outdated. The Kaiserschmarrn we ordered probably never had any contact with milk, rather it was made with water and very few eggs. Service was very friendly and nice.

Onion roast with spaetzle (extra and homemade). Very tasty sauce, very good cooking point, well seasoned, very good temperature, large portion. My wife had saddle of veal steak with chanterelles (no photo). Very tender meat, relatively large chanterelles, very good sauce. Apple fritters with vanilla ice cream are also great, thick dough, also a large portion. Service was very good, we asked every course whether it was tasty. No long waiting times at 8 p.m. in the busy beer garden. Card payment accepted.

After a long time I was in the copper hammer again. The food is great, the portion was enough for me and the ladies in service have everything under control. The atmosphere is rustic but charming. It's a shame that the outside area isn't bigger.

We took a break here on our bike tour from Nagold to Pforzheim. We were even able to charge our e-bike batteries here during our stay. The food and drinks were delicious and served very quickly. However, the prices are a bit too high. The ladies from Service was very friendly and accommodating. We were satisfied and will definitely come back to the Kupferhammer.

As always everything was great. Price-performance is still right.

Hallo am Fr. 16.8.24 am Spätnachmittag war ich zum Essen da. Der 1.te Eindruck, ich denke ich werde mich wohlfühlen. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Gut Bürgerlich, was ein Lob ist. Das Personal schnell, freundlich und umsichtig, auch an den Nebentischen. Auch als Rentner kann man seine Berufserfahrung nicht ablegen und hat Augen und Ohren offen. Das Essen sehr gut, schmackhaft und optisch gab es nichts zu kritisieren. Sanitäranlage auch sauber. Kurzum, beim nächsten von mir besuchten Heimspiel vom CFR werde ich wieder zum Essen kommen.

The food was very tasty and was served to everyone at the table at relatively the same time. The waiters were very attentive until everyone at the table had eaten. Then we had to get up and get the waitress to come to our table to reorder. Which was probably due to the high number of guests. The price level is slightly higher but considering the quality it is okay. Ps. You should still work on the potato salad. That's definitely better ;)

It's been a long time since we've been back to our old hometown and had dinner there with a larger group. Service was very friendly, the food was all fresh and homemade. When we're back home, we'll be happy to come back.

I have been a guest at the Kupferhammer at irregular intervals for decades. I have always appreciated the restaurant because of the solid food and the short waiting times and enjoyed coming here, especially in summer, because of the beautiful beer garden. However, what I had to experience today was simply outrageous and unfortunately forced me to avoid the restaurant in the future. But one after anonther: As always, the food was good and came quickly. I had a Strasbourg sausage salad with fries. When ordering I was asked if I wanted the fries on the plate or separately. Since I don't like them floating in the broth of the salad, I chose the latter. In the end I was charged for the sausage salad plus a portion of fries, so I came to a total of 18.90 EUR. In my opinion, this price is not justified for a beer garden dish and is far too high. After asking, I was told in an unfriendly tone (the boss himself) that that was just the way it was and that I would have gotten more side dishes in return. What bothers me most, besides the price and the unfriendly manner of the boss, is that this is not pointed out when ordering. Ultimately I accept this, but with the consequences mentioned above. A pity!

Although busy, there are almost no waiting times for the food you order. Sign of good organization. However, you should make reservations as a precaution. Due to the large number of visitors, the parking situation is not the best.

Been there for decades and always satisfied. Ate outside today, special of the day, very good and also reasonably priced. I can thoroughly recommend it.

The Kupferhammer restaurant has good home-style cuisine and was considered one of the best restaurants in Pforzheim for me. However, this statement is not reflected in the outdoor area - therefore in the beer garden next door. There is a very small food menu (basically okay from a logistical point of view) but if there is nothing going on then polite inquiries could be made. The only vegetarian options are tarte flambée or cheese spaetzle. I would have expected lentils and spaetzle, but that's not there. The seating wasn't cleaned either (we all had dirty bottoms) and upon request, seat covers are only reserved for the outside area of ​​the restaurant. Even when we specifically asked, we were told that this was not what the boss wanted. Plus points go to the friendly service staff. They really tried hard.

Good and down-to-earth restaurant with German, partly regional Swabian cuisine. The atmosphere is nice and lively and there is a lot going on in the dining room (I like that, if you want to eat in silence this is probably the wrong place). There is also something on the menu for children.

There were five of us here, everyone ate and drank, the food was delicious. A friend and I ordered the pork medallions with rösti and instead of the ratatouille we asked in advance if we could get a side salad with it. This is how the salad was served instead of the ratatouille. When paying we were surprised at the high price compared to the 3 others. We then realized that we paid extra for the salad, we didn't have the ratatouille. When I asked, the waitress said that the boss had ordered it that way. I don't think that's okay, it would be better to communicate this in advance.

We spontaneously stopped by on our tour. There are plenty of seats, both sunny and shady. The waitresses are super friendly and polite. The food was extremely delicious and more than okay in terms of price-performance ratio! We'll definitely come back on our next tour :)

Of course you get a little more with the evening menu...If you like traditional German cuisine you should come to Pforzheim, or rather, you should come and eat here. The waiter, who has been working here for over 20 years, is extremely alert, super nice and friendly... There are a lot of bikers here on the weekends. Located directly on the L463 at the exit of Pforzheim and at the start of the Westweg. When the weather is nice, of course the bear dances here. Parking spaces are few and far between for the rush. About 6 of them next to the house, then you can park at the drinks dealer in the evenings and on weekends and further back at the edge of the forest. In front of the house and across the street there is plenty of space to sit outside and the inside is simple and rustic. There were a lot of waitresses, surprising in this day and age, everyone was nice. For dinner I had the tarte flambée, which was homemade (including the dough) and hearty with fresh ingredients. The toilets are on the same floor at the back and are brand new. Clean, daylight, windows, motion detectors.

Liegt direkt an der L463 am Ortsausgang von Pforzheim und am Start vom Westweg. Bei schönem Wetter steppt hier natürlich der Bär. Parkplätze sind für den Andrang rar gesät. Etwa 6 Stück neben dem Haus, dann kann man beim Getränkehändler abends und am Wochenende parken und weiter hinten am Waldrand. Vorm Haus und gegenüber hat man viel Platz zum im Freien sitzen und innen einfach, rustikal. Bedienungen gab es viele, überraschend in der heutigen Zeit, alle waren nett. Zum Essen hatte ich eine Spargelcremesuppe (lecker, frisch mit Stückchen) und den Flammkuchen, der war auch selbst gemacht (also auch der Teig) und herzhaft mit frischen Zutaten belegt. Die Toiletten sind im gleichen Stockwerk hinten und ganz neu. Sauber, Tageslicht, Fenster, Bewegungsmelder.

The Kupferhammer in Pforzheim feels like it has always been there, a great place to go for beer garden fans and connoisseurs of German cuisine. A popular place to stay, especially in the summer months. Service, friendly and accommodating. Food is simple, honest, rich and delicious. Ambience a bit old but ok. And that brings me to the topic of prices that I simply don't see in a simple restaurant. Personally, I think €20 for a simple schnitzel with fries and salad or just under €30 for a roast is excessive. I think it's a matter of interpretation but it didn't work for me. If that doesn't bother you, you can have a good meal there.

Just outside Pforzheim is this typical German restaurant. Pleasant staff and fast service. The pork fillet was absolutely perfect. Rarely good meat. The Sauerbraten was also very good. A very good dinner.

Heute zum ersten Mal seit über sieben Jahren wieder im Kupferhammer zu Abend gegessen. Es gab eine gut angesetzte Rinderkraftbrühe mit Brotbeilage. Das Brot empfand ich hier als überflüssig, die Suppe hatte eine schöne Note. Zum Hauptgang wurde ein feiner und üppiger Burger mit Pommes Frites und Krautsalat serviert. Der Burger war gut gebraten und auch das Topping war gut abgestimmt. Alles in allem ein gelungenes Abendessen und der Pächterwechsel tat dem Restaurant gut. Für knapp 23,00 Euro kann man auf der Preisseite ebenso nicht meckern. Ich komme wieder!

Had dinner at Kupferhammer today for the first time in over seven years. There was a well-made beef broth with a side of bread. I found the bread unnecessary here, the soup had a nice flavor. The main course was a delicious and filling burger with French fries and coleslaw. The burger was well fried and the topping was also well balanced. All in all, a successful dinner and the change of tenant was good for the restaurant. For just under 23.00 euros you can't complain about the price either. I'll be back!
