If you're looking for Baden/Swabian food, this is the place for you. The food was delicious. The service was friendly. The ambiance was reminiscent of an old pub.

A first-class experience I had a Zwiebelrostbraten (sirloin steak with onions and sauce), a rump steak with onions and sauce, salad, and spaetzle, and it was one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and competent. A superb tavern atmosphere. Absolutely top recommendation.

We ate there yesterday as part of a group. And honestly, I can't recommend this place to anyone. The food was absolutely terrible. My Jägerschnirzel (hunter's pork) was completely oversalted and, unfortunately, cooked for so long that it was just tough. My friend's pork loin was also, unfortunately, inferior meat, and just as tough. It was definitely not loin, you could tell just by the look of it. A friend's tarte flambée was also completely oversalted. Other members of the group were unfortunately completely forgotten when it was served. With schnitzel and loin prices exceeding €20, I can really expect better. I can get something delicious at any garden pub. Never again. I used to really enjoy it, but unfortunately, the quality is getting worse and worse.

We've been eating here for years because the food has always been good. The roast beef is first class, the rump steak is first class, the schnitzel is first class. Today we have to say with regret that not everything is as top-notch as it used to be. The knuckle of pork was spongy, had no crisping and tasted strange in other ways too (We were told there was no special grill for these), the Maultaschen were bland and the sauce that came with it had too much cornstarch. The consistency and taste were completely over the top. The tarte flambée (see picture) was dull and weak. What was great, as always, was the rump steak, the spaetzle and the sauce, which were excellent. We'll be back, but we'll stick to our tried and tested rump steak, schnitzel and roast beef. The service was friendly and attentive as always. The ambience could use a fresh coat of paint, but that's beside the point. It was still clean, though.

I think the restaurant itself is nice, but you have to accept the street and the old feel. However, we've eaten here many times, and so far everything has always been satisfactory. Last time, however, something went wrong, and when we complained, the waitress continued to treat us accordingly. The food used to be much better, but unfortunately, it would have tasted much better at home, which isn't the point of eating out. And the prices have risen enormously; at least the price-performance ratio should be right. What a shame!

The price-performance ratio is disproportionate. Unfortunately, the lunch special was sold out by 2 p.m. today, so we were left with the regular menu. The food is average (standard) but not worth/justified the price. Likewise, the restrooms are not clean, and the interior ambiance is dated. Even this doesn't justify the prices. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. (Standard food and old-fashioned ambiance at a high price)

We stopped here several times, each time after hikes through the neighboring valleys. We didn't eat, so this category remains unrated. Otherwise, a nice little restaurant with friendly service. Location... actually ideal, but right on a busy road. Highly recommended as a stopover during a hike!

The owner and tenant said that if you didn't pre-order, you'd have to pay more. This comment alone is enough to make it unworthy of a restaurant. A question every chef would give here is, "Where does the chef come from?" or do they only work with microwaves? We had classic schnitzel and cheese spaetzle... The spaetzle was greasy and overcooked! Cheese spaetzle with ham? The side salad on the sponge in the warm sauce. It can't be that difficult to make delicious cheese spaetzle. We won't go there again, as the food was far too expensive for that. Even the sparkling water was warm and still. What's going wrong with you?

I was here for the first time today and was absolutely thrilled! The beer garden is simply beautiful, and the waiters and waitresses were super fast and incredibly friendly. The food came quickly and was truly delicious. I had the cheese spaetzle, and it was perfect—fresh, creamy, and not at all dry. I highly recommend it!

The service was prompt, friendly, and on the ball, and the terrace is a real highlight. Even the beer we had ordered "just for fun" was a perfect addition to the experience. I'd happily rate the food as excellent, at a reasonable price. The service is attentive and genuinely friendly. The location on the edge of town is particularly beautiful. An impressive and rare attraction: the huge oak tree on the terrace. The atmosphere is gigantic.

Nice, cozy restaurant with a beer garden. Good home cooking with some regional specialties. Large selection of both food and drinks. Friendly and fixed conditions. Although busy, there are almost no waiting times for the food you order. Sign of good organization. However, you should make reservations as a precaution. Due to the large number of visitors, the parking situation is not the best.

I only go to the beer garden there occasionally in the summer.

Very nice place with a beer garden at the confluence of the Würm and Nagold rivers. I like to stop here for a drink on my tours. The service is quick, polite, and courteous. The food they serve looks incredibly delicious. I'll have to stop by sometime so I can try it. See you soon

We've enjoyed coming to the Kupferhammer for years. After a long break, we recently returned to the Kupferhammer – just to add, we're talking about the beer garden up under the trees. My wife ordered cheese spaetzle and, since she's a vegetarian, asked if she could have it without ham. The waitress said she needed to clarify and then came back with the information that cheese spaetzle always came without ham and therefore couldn't be ordered without ham. ???? But the menu explicitly states that cheese spaetzle is made with ham! We had the same question marks on our faces as you might now. Drinks – we still didn't have two wheat beers after 10 minutes. When the cheese spaetzle arrived, we were more than disappointed: no flavor at all – no fried onions or anything like that on top. The cheese spaetzle did contain onions, but they were translucent, and the whole dish was completely tasteless. Unfortunately, when I asked, they only offered ground pepper for seasoning; a pepper mill might have helped. I myself ordered schnitzel with fries – based on their appearance, I assume they're not a convenience product; the portion was quite large – however, the two pieces of meat were neither pounded nor fried. I would have preferred a nice schnitzel – the fries were okay, but drenched in salad dressing because the salad was served in the same dish as the schnitzel and fries. It's a shame, years ago you could really eat well at Kupferhammer – on our visit, the whole thing was lackluster and taste-wise, on the low end. When we pointed this out to the waitress, they shrugged their shoulders. We understand that the beer garden menu is rather limited, but even here, years ago, there was a larger selection of dishes. Friends of ours loved the calamari back then – but they're no longer on the menu. Conclusion – it's a shame that Kupferhammer has slipped so far. Maybe we can tweak the controls a bit here.

The food was okay, the portions were okay, but manageable for big eaters. The taste is okay, the ox cheek salad was good, and the fried Maultaschen with egg were also okay. The location is right next to the main road, so it's not exactly quiet. Otherwise, the menu is extensive with interesting offerings. Prices are average, with a slight upward trend. Nevertheless, we'll be back to try something new!

I've been going to Kupferhammer on and off for over 30 years. The food is good, home-style, and the portions are perfectly adequate. The staff are attentive and always friendly. The ambiance has barely changed in 30 years; it's in the style of a classic 80s inn, but it's absolutely fine. The location is inviting, as it's centrally located on the Würm and Nagold Valley cycle paths. Parking is rather limited. It's quite busy on weekends and holidays, but it's more relaxed during the week. Unfortunately, the prices have risen significantly (as is the case everywhere in the restaurant industry). I'll still happily come back.

Large portions, low prices... doesn't always have to be good, but everything works here. The food was very tasty, the staff was very friendly and attentive. You can't change the fact that the restaurant is on the main street, but it's still nice there.

First you are treated like air, while other guests are courted, then the waiter insults the customer and speaks disparagingly, the food (meat) was not cooked, the wait was long, the food was taken out again - all in all, never again, sorry.

This is a restaurant near and dear to my heart. I was brought here as a child by my parents. I remember how good it was then and eating here now, it's just as scrumptious. The awesome staff spoke some English and they offer a menu that is translated. Top German restaurant to eat at if your looking for authentic German cuisine!

Die Sonne prallte Wir bestellten und fragten ob man den Sonnenschirm aufspannen könnte was mit einem klaren NEIN beantwortet wurde.Auf Nachfrage ob es einen Grund dafür gäbe gab es keine Antwort nur den Hinweis auf den Chef... Das essen kam schnell und in gewohnter Kupferhammer convenience Qualität. Beim bezahlen bemerkten wir nochmals freundlich dass es schön gewesen wäre nicht zum essen der prallen Sonne ausgeliefert zu sein. Fazit, der Chef stand meistens in der Tür und beobachtete die Szenerie...zu faul um auch nur einmal daran zu denken einen Sonnenschirm aufzuspannen Servicegedanke Fehlanzeige Das ist schade..

The food tastes great, the service is very friendly and the food is quick and good. Only three stars because it feels like the prices are increased and then the portions are reduced. The salad with the cordon bleu and second roast (both over 27 euros) is a joke. Tastes good and fresh but the quantity has been significantly reduced. It's just a stupid feeling and feels like a rip-off. It feels like the Cordon Bleu used to be bigger.

I always enjoy coming here. In winter in the rustic interior, outside in front of the restaurant or in the separate beer garden. The food is good and reasonably priced for the quality. The selection of drinks is good and the prices are okay. Parking spaces can sometimes be tight. The opening times are exemplary.

Habe mit meiner Frau die Bratkartoffeln mit Kräuterquark gegessen und habe den großen Salat dazu bestellt Der Salat war wie in einem Zeltvetkauf von einem Fußballspiel Frisch vom Plastikeimer rausgeholt und lieblos auf den Teller geknallt Die Bratkartoffeln waren zum Teil verbrannt Das war leider das zweite Mal Das ich enttäuscht wurde. For a family celebration on Sundays with 14 people at the reserved table. It was very crowded. Fish soup too reduced, or too salted... also a bit too thick. Pork fillet unfortunately the same...oversalted...Breaded schnitzel, tasted like old fat. We've eaten much better there, I don't know if it was the chef...or another tenant is there now. My dish was taken off the bill. Service is always friendly and quick. Cake was already out at 2 p.m., except for 1 piece. The prices are generally reasonable. There are few alternatives in Pforzheim.

Went to the wildlife park today and spontaneously went to this restaurant. It was very busy, but even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were still "accommodated" thanks to the friendly staff. The food was great and served quickly. We will come more often in the future, but with more time and of course make reservations.

Always a good stopover for biking, whether it's a bike or a motorcycle

It was the first time that we had a delicious meal. The ambience was rustic and the service was very friendly and accommodating.

Soup and sauce from the packet and add salt. Croutons drowned in salad with sauce. Onions for roasting not browned. Burnt apple fritters. There's someone in the kitchen who doesn't know his business. Service itself tried to be friendly, but from half of the evening onwards it was more concerned with your own dinner and conversation than with the guests (glasses and plates are no longer cleared away, chairs are put up while guests are still sitting in the room). Apparently no boss was present or not interested. For the region, prices are rather high for poor quality. Overall not acceptable.

I go there often and can't complain. The waitresses are always friendly and funny. The food is always super tasty and inexpensive. Changing monthly passes motivate you to keep going. You can sit nicely outside, in front of the restaurant or "in the forest" on beer benches, but also rustically inside. The price-performance ratio is great. Can absolutely recommend it.
