Although it's located on the street, you can enjoy your meal in peace on the terrace. The interior is very cozy, inviting you to sit for a while. The food selection is quite large, so there should be something for everyone. The quality is top-notch and consistent. My favorite dish (braised cheeks) always tastes the same... incredibly delicious. The service is friendly and attentive; only when it's really busy can you have to wait a bit longer, not only because it's busy, but because things tend to get forgotten in the hustle and bustle. The chef also enjoys seeing guests and always has a friendly word to say. Highly recommended. Except for parking, which isn't so great. You have to be a bit lucky. Or plan a short walk.

Very good Swabian-Baden food and friendly staff – something you'd find hard to find these days. The pork cheeks are especially recommended. We ordered takeout and were served courteously and promptly.

The Arlinger Restaurant offers solid, home-style cooking of generally good quality. The dishes are tasty and attractively presented, even if the value for money doesn't quite meet my expectations. The service is friendly and attentive, although due to the size of the restaurant, you may sometimes have to be a bit patient while waiting for your meal. The ambiance is pleasant and inviting. Overall, this is definitely a recommendable restaurant, well worth a visit if you appreciate classic, high-quality cuisine.

The food, yes, the service... let's just say it was very casual, lethargic, lacking in enthusiasm, and overall in need of improvement. It was rush hour, but four people could still manage it.

All in all, it's okay. One of the few restaurants that also serves hot meals between 3 and 5 p.m. 👍🤩 The portions are unfortunately not outstanding for the price and quality. A very small piece of steak and few side dishes, pickled (?) chanterelles in season instead of fresh ones. On the other hand, the bread dumplings and sauces were super tasty. So, rather mediocre. Service was good – attentive and courteous. Sitting outside is nice, shady by the street, but a bit noisy, but the restaurant can't help it and made the best of it.

Sorry, today's visit was worth two stars. And those are only for the taste... What 3 out of 4 guests were served was simply a disgrace. -A tiny piece of fish fillet, carelessly placed on the plate... It won't fill you up! Really not! -You had to search for the beef fillet tips among the chanterelle mushrooms... -3 small slices of pork medallions... -The "fried" potatoes came with raw, uncooked onions... When paying, we informed the waiter that today's meal was absolutely not up to scratch. He smiled "understandingly"... The service was also slow and inappropriate. We are very upset!!!

As someone who regularly eats schnitzel, I would like to emphasize that the schnitzel here was exceptionally well prepared. The portions were generous. The service was friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. Special requests were accommodated, and the timing was well-coordinated. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant with high quality and a pleasant atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The Arlinger Restaurant comes highly recommended. I had cheese spaetzle, which I've never tasted so good. Everyone else at the table was also very happy with their food. You get a delicious bread with spread and a side salad to start with. The meat dishes are top-quality, and the service is super friendly. The chef personally came to our table when we had a food intolerance. That's how you want to be served. Of course, it's not exactly cheap, but the service is perfectly justified.

I was there for lunch and highly recommend it. The dessert even got 5 stars! Very wheelchair accessible, with an accessible restroom.

Two of us came here for dinner. And what can I say: From the ambiance to the service to the food, everything was top-notch! The whole package is just perfect here. We'll be back! Important, though: Definitely reserve a table in advance. Parking is available on the street, but you can usually find one without any problems.

Worst service in town. Cannot pay by card. Waiting ages to pay. Till broken. Items on menu not available. The level of incompetence is comical.

Upon arriving at our reserved table, we found a heavily soiled tablecloth and carelessly laid out cutlery. The wait for the menu was just about acceptable. Questions about the food were categorically dismissed with a smug grin, which is unfortunate when someone has to adhere to certain dietary requirements for health reasons. The food arrived rather quickly, slapped carelessly onto the plates. The taste was okay. Overall, we found the experience unpleasant, especially when you've invited guests.

Food tastes okay. However, the treatment of the customer is absolutely disgraceful. You are dealt with quickly and customer requests are ignored. Unfortunately you don't feel welcome here at all. Very loud - almost impossible to have a conversation.

The food was very good! I also liked the ambience. You definitely feel comfortable in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that optimal. We had to ask three times for the drinks we ordered because they kept forgetting them. Several guests did not receive their orders because something was constantly forgotten or mixed up. In the end everything worked out and we were still satisfied and would come back.

We have been to Arlinger Essen many times. Top every time. Whether as a couple or in a larger group. Wiener schnitzel, onion roast roast is recommended. Keep it up. The only suggestion for improvement: invest in new cutlery. The knives in particular needed an update.

Wir waren recht spontan zu viert im Restaurant und haben dort einen wirklich gelungenen Abend verbracht. Ein Gericht von der Saisonkarte (Rehbraten) war leider aus, was wir an einem Abend am Wochenende aber nicht weiter schlimm fanden. Zumal der Service sehr freundlich war und auch sofort zugestimmt hat, einen Beilagensalat durch einen Salat der Saisonkarte zu ersetzen. Der Salat war dann auch knackig frisch und das Dressing fein abgestimmt. Unsere Hauptgerichte (verschiedene Rindersteaks) waren auf den Punkt (medium und medium rare) und von guter Qualität. Auch die Beilagen waren lecker und die Menge ausreichend. Für den Preis auch vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Dessert hat dem Ganzen dann die Krone aufgesetzt. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

An extraordinary experience in the Arlinger Restaurant – 5 stars! We had the pleasure of dining at the Arlinger Restaurant and it was an overall impressive visit. We would particularly like to highlight the Maultaschen – they were perfectly prepared, with a lovely filling and a delicate texture that made every bite a delight. The salmon was simply a dream - tender and aromatic, with a wonderfully fresh note that harmonized perfectly with the side dish. The roast venison was also a real highlight: tender and juicy, with a sophisticated sauce that went perfectly with it. The ambience at Arlinger is really special: a cozy, yet elegant atmosphere that invites you to a relaxing evening. The furnishings are tasteful and create a pleasant atmosphere. Not to be forgotten is the Hefeweizen, which we enjoyed. It was fresh and tangy, with a nice balance that complemented the dishes perfectly and rounded off the evening. All in all, we can only warmly recommend the Arlinger Restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food is simply delicious. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were there as a larger group today. The menu is diverse and the rooms are beautifully designed. The prices quoted are relatively high, which would be fine given the appropriate quality of food and service. However, both criteria are, if anything, only average. We waited very different lengths of time for the drinks and the service wasn't necessarily friendly or accommodating. You had to actively ask for another drink. This would basically be the easiest place to make money. Unfortunately, fries were sold out (to our great regret, even though we had reserved). When it came to the beef, the desired degree of doneness was not asked; unfortunately the veal was quite fibrous. The Swabian Kässpätzle were “stretched” with bechamel sauce and were one of the few vegetarian dishes. All in all, not bad, but not what I expected.

We were completely satisfied. The only thing that was a bit annoying was changing the table linen at the neighboring tables while we were still sitting. Gladly again.

We've been there for lunch a few times now. Unfortunately the quality is not good. One time the cordon bleu only consisted of cheese and the other time the potato donuts were still frozen inside. The veal steak was just kissed by the flame, English you would say. When I pointed out the donuts, the veal steak was completely cooked to death again, but the donuts were good. All in all it's okay. But the quality of the preparation leaves something to be desired.

Today we ate with 5 people in the Arlinger Restaurant. Of which 3* recommended by the chef. Tender saddle of veal steak with cream chanterelles, cognac cream sauce and homemade spaetzle for €28.90. One portion was smaller with the end piece of the saddle of veal and only about 160 g, others about 200 g. That doesn't work at all! In addition, the chef's expensive recommendations do not come with a side salad. There is no offer either! A small cherry tomato as decoration. A truly pathetic affair for a chef's recommendation and the second most expensive dish on the menu. There are no small side salads on the menu either! Without the advance “greeting from the kitchen” with home-baked bread and a cream cheese preparation, the guest would not have been full with the 160 g piece of meat and no side salad for €28.90. And that is quite a powerful piece. Almost all meat dishes, even the breaded pork loin schnitzel with a side dish of your choice for €17.90, say: *We serve a small mixed side salad with all dishes. Because you will look in vain for markings * in all the dishes on offer. The meat dishes all tasted very good and were cooked to perfection. The veal cordon bleu at €24.90 was the price-performance winner and earned 6* for preparation, taste and portion size with an additional nice side salad. The eggplant ravioli with crunchy vegetables and fruity tomato sauce were unfortunately too salty and over-seasoned, therefore 0*. There was also no side salad, even though it was included on the menu. Raw carrots were also included, the crunchy vegetables. Conclusion! Not everyone was happy! Price/performance ratio and high quality are not given for all dishes, therefore only 3* (satisfactory)! The menu needs to be revised so that the customer can see exactly what they are getting for their money and doesn't have to ask stupidly, "Did you forget our side salad?" Good service then asks: "Do you want one?" Quantities, e.g. 200 g, for beef fillet, beef steaks, saddle of veal and pork medallions are common these days. As a customer, it's easy to feel like you're being taken advantage of these days. The payer was satisfied and therefore still gave a large tip. Maybe people will read it and take it to heart!

Waiting time just too long... waiting for 1 hour... It's Friday and when we arrived only half the terrace was occupied. So not much going on. Now 1 hour later, everything is occupied. The waiter is really unsympathetic. No smile. And when we asked 1 hour later how long it would take, he said "approximately...". We are here with 2 children. We wouldn't do that again. But more because the waiter is so unsympathetic. Our kids were inconspicuous, despite being hungry. Children's schnitzel is neatly portioned. Adult schnitzel has 2 schnitzels, children have one. I understand the good reviews. Food good, terrace looks good too. It was just the waiting time and the unsympathetic nature of this one waiter, who I think has been working there for a long time. My drink was forgotten twice...sat there for over an hour without a drink and had to ask twice. The waitress was very friendly, very personable, which is why I preferred to ask her about my drink. Personally, it is very important to me that you are friendly or at least show a friendly face. My husband and I felt very uncomfortable with the technical service.
