Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise und haben ganz spontan gehalten. Wir hatten einfache Schnitzel Pommes, beides knusprig, nett angerichtet mit freundlichem Personal auf der Terrasse serviert. Gerne wieder.

Ich habe am Samstag in der Kulisse für Sonntag Mittag einen Tisch für drei Personen bestellt. Das gespräch war kurz und freundlich. Am Sonntag kam dann das bestellte Essen. Zwei Mahlzeiten waren einfach versalzen, gut kann passieren. Das Problem kommt beim Bezahlen. Zu keiner Zeit, mit keinem Wort, und auch nach längerer Suche keinem Hinweis wird darauf hingewiesen das es keine Bargeldlose Bezahlmöglichkeit gibt. Selbst bei dem zuvor erwähnten Telefonat gab es kein Hinwies. dieses finde ich befremdlich. Der Kunde ist es nicht wert. Gruß B.Gregor

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Lokal, toller Biergarten mit Blick auf den Rhein von einigen Tischen und großer Speisenauswahl. Sonnenschirme wären toll und weniger Wartezeit, wenn das Lokal fast leer ist. Leider sehr teuer, wann man mit der ganzen Familie dort ist.

Schöner Biergarten mit fantastischem Blick über den Rhein. Service war leider viel zu langsam und dies trotz sehr wenig Betrieb. Es ist nicht auszuschließen, dass es nur an diesem Tag war. Werde trotzdem wegen der schönen Lage diesen Platz noch mal besuchen. Nicht aber um drinnen, sondern um im Biergarten zu sein.

Sehr gutes Buffet zum 70ten alles frisch zubereitet.Das Essen war sehr lecker.An der Bedienung kam man noch arbeiten es ist aber nicht schlimm .Macht weiter so ,wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder aus dem Oberbe

Potenzial da, aber im Chaos untergegangen Das Wetter war herrlich und die Terrasse voll besetzt. Leider hat das Restaurant an diesem Tag wohl deutlich mehr Gesellschaften angenommen, als das Personal bewältigen konnte. Die Wartezeiten waren lang, das Essen war leider eher mittelmäßig und das Service-Team verständlicherweise völlig überfordert - was sich später leider auch in einer gewissen Unfreundlichkeit widerspiegelte. Zudem war die Lautstärke durch eine parallele Kinderfeier mit Clown extrem hoch. Verstehen Sie mich nicht falsch: Ich bin sehr kinderfreundlich, aber in der Kombination mit der ohnehin total überfüllten Terrasse war es einfach zu viel Unruhe für einen entspannten Restaurantbesuch. Hier wäre weniger (Gäste) definitiv mehr gewesen.

Wir waren heute mit der ganzen Familie in der Kulisse in weaselling und kann es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Ob es die Atmosphäre ist oder die Speisen oder Service , es war ein absolut schöner Nachmittag mit eine super Stimmung .

Wir waren schon früher mehrmsls da. Schön zu sotzen mit Blick auf Rhein. Leider die neuen Pächter nicht gerade freundlich,. Es war sehr wenig los, trotzdem lange gewartet. Hatten erst 1 kalt Getränk. Dann haben wir 1 Eis und warmen Apfelstrudel, eben mit Cappuccino und espresso bestellt. Die Kaffee's kamen nach 10 Minuten, dann haben wir nochmal 20 Minuten gewartet, wollte gerade abbestellen, da kam dann das Eis und der Kuchen. Kaffee natürlich kalt. Hatten die Dame darauf angesprochen und sie wurde patzig. Wir wollten eigentlich Kleinigkeiten essen, aber für Tomatensuppe 10,-€, bzw. Currywurst 13,-€ echt zu teuer

Tolles Ambiente, hervorragende Gerichte, tolles Personal und ein Betreiber mit einem Herz aus Gold! Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf den nächsten kulinarischen Abend!

Das Restaurant Kulisse hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Die Burger waren saftig und voller Geschmack, das Schnitzel perfekt knusprig und das Champignon-Schnitzel einfach hervorragend zubereitet. Man merkt, dass hier auf Qualität geachtet wird. Auch die Getränke waren sehr gut frisch, gut abgestimmt und passend zum Essen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Atmosphäre: Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und sehr angenehm, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Ort mit leckerem Essen und tollem Service. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Leider sehr enttäuschend… Wir hatten letzten Sonntag für 6 Personen einen Tisch reserviert. Uns wurde die Wahl gelassen ob wir draußen oder drinnen sitzen möchten. Wir entschieden uns für drinnen, da es draußen zu frisch geworden wäre. Wir wurden direkt neben einer ca. 25 Köpfigen Kommunionsgruppe platziert. Für beide Seiten denke ich nicht optimal. Wir fanden es durch die große Gruppe doch recht laut um sich zu unterhalten. Die Stühle sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und wackeln so sehr, dass ich mir einen anderen nahm, der stabiler war. Zum Essen: Vier von Sechs bestellten das Iberico Kotelett, welches wie auf dem Foto zu sehen ein Standard Stielkotelett war. Dies ist eine absolute Frechheit, da hier Welten der Qualität dazwischen liegen und ein ganz anderes Produkt ist. Der Gargrad des Koteletts war völlig drüber, sodass das Kotelett trocken und schwer zu schneiden war. Der Beilagensalat war groß und schmackhaft. In den Nudeln mit Rinderstreifen fanden wir ein Stück Schale einer Garnele! Hätte die Person eine Allergie gegen Schalentiere gehabt, wäre dies fatal gewesen. In dem großen Raum waren einige Spinnweben an der Decke, in den Ritzen des Tisches Krümel und anderer Dreck der vorherigen Gäste zu finden. Der Service war bemüht und freundlich. Hat allerdings nicht richtig zugehört und daher abbestellte Pfeffersoße gebracht und ein Sprudelwasser statt ein stilles Wasser serviert. Alles in allem werde ich die Kulisse nicht mehr besuchen, da ich es leider nicht schön fand Leider war unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten letzten Sonntag für sechs Personen reserviert und konnten zwischen drinnen und draußen wählen. Da es draußen zu frisch wurde, entschieden wir uns für drinnen. Zu unserem Missfallen wurden wir direkt neben einer etwa 25-köpfigen Kommunionsgruppe platziert. Dies war weder für uns noch für die Gruppe angenehm, da es durch die vielen Kinder recht laut war und wir uns kaum unterhalten konnten. Die Stühle waren sehr abgenutzt und wackelten so stark, dass ich mir einen anderen nehmen musste. Was das Essen betrifft, so bestellten vier von uns das Iberico Kotelett, welches von einem, nur mit Eicheln gefüttertem, freilaufenden Schwein stammt und somit eine besonders intensiven Geschmack bekommt. Zu unserer Enttäuschung war es jedoch nur ein gewöhnliches Stielkotelett (siehe Foto), weit entfernt von der Qualität, die wir erwartet hatten. Der Gargrad war völlig falsch, sodass das Kotelett trocken und schwer zu schneiden war. Der Beilagensalat war zwar groß und schmackhaft, konnte aber das enttäuschende Kotelett nicht retten. In den Nudeln mit Rinderstreifen fanden wir ein Stück Schale einer Garnele, was für jemanden mit einer Schalentiereallergie gefährlich hätte sein können. Der Service war zwar bemüht und freundlich, aber leider nicht aufmerksam genug. Wir erhielten eine abbestellte Pfeffersoße und ein Sprudelwasser statt des bestellten stillen Wassers. Alles in allem werden wir dieses Restaurant aufgrund der unangenehmen Atmosphäre und der enttäuschenden Essenserfahrung nicht mehr besuchen.

Besonders die Qualität der Speisen und die schöne Präsentation haben uns sehr gefallen. Das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr herzlich, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Auch die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist angenehm, stilvoll und einladend. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf guten Service und Zufriedenheit der Gäste gelegt wird. Essen war sehr lecker. Wir saßen erst draußen im Biergarten und hatten einen tollen Blick auf den Rhein. Wir sind dann zum essen reingegangen, da es kalt wurde. Die Bedienung war super freundlich, das Essen war sehr lecker und der Preis ist völlig ok. Wir waren begeistert.

Alles super gewesen. Leckeres Essen (hatten etwa fünf verschiedene Gerichte, jede/r war begeistert), sehr nettes Personal, und zudem eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre was die Einrichtung und Raumdeko etc betrifft. Die Kulisse wird uns jetzt häufiger sehen 👍

Das Essen war gut. Preis-Leistung passt grundsätzlich, nur der Flaschenpreis für den Wein empfanden wir etwas hoch. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Lediglich der Küchengeruch war etwas störend. Hier sollte unbedingt Abhilfe geleistet werden. Wir empfehlen sich hier selbst ein Bild zu machen. Wir waren mit 14 Personen dort und fühlten uns wohl.

Ich liebe die Kulisse seit mehr als 30 Jahren. Im Sommer kann man dort in dem wunderschönen Biergarten sitzen und im Winter oder bei schlechtem Wetter den gemütlichen Innenraum genießen. Der neue Pächter hat den Charme der Kulisse Gottseidank belassen, der Biergarten wurde aufgehübscht. Das Speiseangebot ist zeitgemäßer und moderner geworden, die Qualität ist sehr gut. Ich wünsche mir manchmal etwas von den Brauhausgerichten zurück, das kann aber auch an meinem Alter liegen. Der Service ist sehr gut, die Preise „normal“. Immer wieder gerne!

Fish and chips bestanden aus 4 Supermarkt-Fischstäbchen und Salzkartoffeln. Kaum Fisch, keine Chips. Hätte ich zuhause besser hingekriegt. Kellner war gut und fleißig. Kulisse ist gut für ein Bier im Sommer, essen geht man besser woanders.

Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt mit reichlich Auswahl. Nur Parkplätze sind nicht ausreichend. Dank Ordnungshüter sollte darauf geachtet werden richtig zu parken. Ich werde hier wieder Speisen

Neue Besitzer, neue Möglichkeiten :) Dieses romantische deutsche Restaurant im traditionellen Stil hat großes Potenzial. Mit mediterraner Leitung und familiärer Atmosphäre erwarten Sie hier qualitativ hochwertige Speisen und kulinarische Überraschungen. Ein Neustart für das Management, das gleichzeitig die lokale Tradition bewahrt. Der neue Besitzer heißt alle Gäste herzlich willkommen :) Ich kann Ihnen nur empfehlen, selbst vorbeizuschauen. A very warmly run café-restaurant right on the Rhine – highly recommended! We were passing through and unfortunately only had time for a short stop – but we were so impressed that we will definitely be back. The "Kulisse" has been around for many decades, and for the past two and a half years, it has been run by the new owner, Marian: young, dedicated, very attentive, and with a palpable passion for his guests. The garden right on the Rhine riverbank is a little gem: beautifully situated, peaceful, and full of charm. We tried the homemade apple strudel (with ice cream) – simply outstanding, freshly made. We would especially like to highlight Marian's exceptional friendliness and hospitality. Our personal conversation with him was very pleasant, and you can immediately tell how much heart and soul he puts into developing his restaurant. We are happy to support such young, ambitious restaurateurs. Dear Marian, thank you so much for this short but wonderful visit. We wish you all the best for the future and the further expansion of your restaurant, and we're already looking forward to our next visit – we'll definitely try your burgers then! 🍔 🥳

New ownership, new possibilities :) There is huge potential for this romantic (old school) German Restaurant. With Mediterranean management and domestic environment one can expect good quality food and culinary surprises. It is new start for management with traditional local heritage at the same time. New owner is welcoming everyone who comes :) I would encourage all to go and see for themselves. I like this place ❤️

The atmosphere is very nice and cozy, and you immediately feel at home. The food was excellent—fresh, delicious, and prepared with lots of love. I can't recommend this place. The wait times are too long, and the wrong food is served. Unfortunately, there are also insects in the salad, such as flies. That's unacceptable!!!

In summer, the fantastic terrace right on the Rhine offers excellent food. The meat is delicious, especially good in winter or when it's a bit cooler. There's also plenty of space inside for small or medium-sized parties.

Grandma's 87th birthday was a wonderful evening. With 15 people, no one had to wait. The food was simply delicious and reasonably priced; I'd go back anytime! Definitely a recommendation.

I stopped by for lunch with colleagues almost spontaneously. The food was well prepared and reasonably priced. We were able to swap out the side dishes – top-notch service. Friendly staff, everything for the guests. A very nice location, the terrace with a fantastic view of the Rhine is fantastic. We would definitely come back and recommend it without hesitation. Simply mega and highly recommended

A very nice location with a view of the Rhine if you want to sit outside. The terrace is large enough. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, although the prices were a bit high. The wasps were a bit annoying; you couldn't really get any peace and quiet outside. There were quite a few of them, around 10 at a time. You can't eat normally there, and something should be done about that.

The burger was too small, but that's a matter of opinion. The fries were a bit oversalted. And the picture speaks volumes.

We remember the setting from the previous restaurant. The food was always amazing. But now, unfortunately, I can't recommend it. I had a burger. It was topped with a ready-made meatball. My husband had a Jägerschnitzel, which didn't look freshly made either, and the sauce resembled an instant product. A real shame. And therefore too expensive. The service was nice. We come from further afield and were always impressed in the past, but now we're disappointed. The location is still beautiful. Please reconsider your food. We won't be coming back.

We've known this place for a long time and were regulars, but after the previous owner passed away, we came back and the atmosphere is just like it used to be 👍 nothing has changed. But the food is completely out of place. That doesn't make a nice offer and a pleasant atmosphere go away. The food is abysmal. Everything was completely disappointing. We won't be coming here again. A snack bar is better!

I personally really enjoyed the ambiance, food, and service. We (20+ people) visited the "Kulisse" daily, which naturally put the team to the test. There were waits, of course...but who goes out for a leisurely meal and says "I don't have time?" They've also made provisions for the current season (summer). You can sit on a lovely terrace overlooking the Rhine, or a little closer to the bar under large umbrellas that protect you from the sun and rain. Oh no, wasps!!! They also make their presence known. Ask the friendly staff for a beer mat for your drink or a teaspoon of cranberries, and you'll be in peace.

I had to wait an hour and 30 minutes for my food. The waitress was incredibly unfriendly and rude. And I had a long hair in my salad.

A beautiful beer garden above the Rhine. We took a break in this setting during a bike ride on the Rhine Cycle Path. We enjoyed the beautiful weather in the beer garden with a cool Kölsch beer. We didn't eat anything, but the food served to other tables looked very good.

The taste is superb. The ambiance invites you to linger. The staff is super friendly, even when it's full. Everyone has a good overview, and children are also catered for. Simply fantastic! We'd love to go back.

I arrived early for a concert by Kabelbrand as part of the "Rheinklang 669" festival. Two bands were scheduled to perform, with Kabelbrand being the second. However, contrary to prior agreement, the landlord only made room for one band and cut the second band's performance time so short that they left angrily. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable and outrageous behavior toward artists who offer their services free of charge as part of a cultural program. I left, too. I cannot support such despicable behavior.

This is a restaurant with very friendly and attentive service. They have a children's menu and offer a children's special on certain days and at certain times. I highly recommend the fried blood sausage dish with caramelized onions, mashed potatoes, and roasted apple. They accept credit and debit cards.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! 10/10 in terms of taste – huge portions for a fair price, friendly and professional service, and the ambiance right on the Rhine is fantastic.

There were two of us, and we ate a lot for a good price (€70). The beers were deliciously fresh. The food (currywurst with fries) was truly a disaster. The sausage was only impressive because of its size, but the portion of fries was small and manageable. The curry sauce was completely overseasoned (far too salty, almost like it was laced with MSG). Both of our mouths were still burning two hours later. Here's a piece of well-intentioned advice: curry sauce with currywurst and fries doesn't belong with canned dried fried onions. Unfortunately, that's disappointing, but the Bruder Wirtschaft in Siegburg can make up for it a little with their Büble beer.

The beer garden is truly beautiful, but the food is absolutely abysmal, and the prices are outrageous. Three small potato pancakes with tasteless applesauce for just under 15 euros, and a carelessly thrown-together cheeseburger for 15 euros, too—no ​​one really needs that. It's a shame how the food at the "Kulisse" has deteriorated so much in recent years. Since the "long-standing" chef left, the "Kulisse" unfortunately falls into the "to be avoided" category. It wasn't the first time the food was so disappointing, but yesterday was certainly the last time for me.

We stopped at this establishment with our group of travelers (46 people), having booked before arrival so we could have a coffee and a piece of regional cake. We were indeed expected, but what a shame when they asked us for the bill.... Beware: a coffee and a piece of cake for €14/person is a disgrace.

We celebrated our wedding there and are very happy with it. The owner offers very fair prices for events and accommodates all requests. The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. We highly recommend it.

We were there on Mother's Day and were looking forward to a nice brunch. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Instead of offering a buffet - as is usual in many restaurants - the food was brought directly to the table. There were, among other things, scrambled eggs and cold cuts, but nothing really special. Reordered food simply wasn't delivered. The service seemed very uncoordinated. We ordered water three times and had to remind the staff again each time. We apologized ourselves, but a short time later we were forgotten again. The staff was rarely available and overall seemed overwhelmed. In addition, almost all of the plates had noticeable flaws. After three hours, a plate of potatoes and meat finally arrived - there was no vegetarian alternative. The portions were also very different in size. I would only come back if there was a buffet again. The restaurant used to be much better run. All in all, the will was probably there - but that alone is not enough. Especially not on Mother's Day!

Laut Internetangabe durchgehend geöffnet , auch die Küche bis 23.00 Uhr.Obwohl Lokal offen war wurden wir nicht bedient. Es sei erst ab 17.00 Uhr offen. Dafür 30 km umsonst gefahren.

With a back yard overseeing the Rhine, this place literally owns a license to printing horeca money. Food is typical for the area, Flammkuchen, Reibekuchen, Schnitzel, etc. During our recent visit, we found the service competent and polite. The back yard could be better kept though.

Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm. Side dishes didn't seem to be included either. The decor is pretty worn. Otherwise, it was quite nice.

We were here for lunch after a training session, and it was fantastic! Despite the busy place, we were served quickly and very politely and courteously! The food was delicious; everyone enjoyed it. I particularly like the potato soup, which was probably the tastiest potato soup of my life! Thank you for 3 days of great lunches, and thank you for the wonderful atmosphere and the fantastic service 👍🏽

Good, home-style cooking with a modern twist. Large portions, service that ranged from attentive to very attentive. I also appreciated the lack of that typical restaurant smell.

I'd prefer 0 stars, as there was nothing to rate. I spontaneously wanted to come in for dinner shortly before 9:00 a.m., and according to the website, the food was served until 11:00 p.m. First, they said it was too late. They pointed me to the website, then they said it was an order from the chef, and then they said there was no chef on site. Another couple had a similar experience.

We were invited there for a training session at Nissan. Good food, fast service, friendly staff. Even a parking space in front of the door.

The price/performance ratio isn't right. We were there for brunch on a Sunday. I'm happy to pay €26 for a good breakfast, but there simply wasn't much choice here. Furthermore, the drinks were only refilled sporadically. Many of our table didn't get the only "special" item, namely salmon, because there wasn't enough of it and they didn't refill it. I actually went home hungry. The drinks were also expensive. However, the other guests' a la carte dishes looked good on their plates. Nice atmosphere and service. But I won't go there again, and neither will my companion.
