Kuhhornkopfhütte in Zell am Harmersbach

Super great, friendly hut staff. Also relaxed palaver with other guests at the table. Really relaxed atmosphere up here! It was a great decision to tackle the detour with a few meters of altitude.

The very arduous climb is worth it because the hut and the adjacent lounge area are very beautiful and well maintained. There is a small playground and several picnic benches in the area. On Sundays and public holidays you can order simple and tasty snacks (catering). The hosts are very friendly and the view is fantastic.

As a "city dweller" I managed the climb and there was nothing left to drink in my backpack... All the more pleased that there was a piggy on site where you could put the amount in to get drinks. And the very best thing was the canister of water for the dogs. A really great thing and thank you very much for it.

Tolle Wanderhütte, kleiner Kinderspielplatz vorhanden. Die Hütte ist nicht riesig bietet aber genug Platz für die Einkehr. Faire Preise für Kaffee und Kuchen

Schöne und ruhig gelegene Hütte. Immer einen Ausflug wert.

Die Kuhhornkopfhütte ist das schöne Ausflugsziel des Wander- und Freizeitvereins Unterharmersbach. Der Aufstieg zur Hütte ist ziemlich steil. Eine Bewirtung findet nur an Sonn- und Feiertagen statt. Die Hüttenwirte sind stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Es gibt lediglich einige kleine Vesper. Aber zu einem Wanderausflugsziel hat man ja oftmals ein eigenes Vesper im Rucksack.
