On October 24th, 2025, we spontaneously decided to go to an Italian restaurant. The ambiance was very nice, as one would expect in a golf club, but the reception was a bit... well, I think we were intruding. We were the only guests that evening (four people). We were given the option of choosing our own table, the menus were promptly handed out, and then there was a bit of silence. After some time, the lady in red came back to the table and asked what we would like to eat. Being the cheeky one, I pointed out that we would like to order drinks first. These arrived quickly, and then our food orders were taken. We ordered three simple appetizers (a green salad, one tomato and mozzarella salad, and one bruschetta) and for our main courses, three calzones and one spaghetti dish. The appetizers took almost half an hour to arrive (we were still the only guests), we finished eating quickly, and then there was nothing more. Forty-five minutes later, intense eye contact with the man (an employee?) who was sitting in a corner at the counter eating with the waitress prompted her to head towards the kitchen. She quickly returned with the three calzones. The spaghetti? It arrived about ten minutes later and was somewhere between still slightly firm and al dente (presumably quickly made because it had been forgotten). We were still the only guests, and we were beginning to understand why. What happened after the meal? Right, more waiting, no one asking for anything, nothing. There was no one else to be seen. The only distraction was the men (presumably other employees) in the anteroom, who, despite the open doors to the dining area, were peacefully puffing on their cigarettes, filling the room with a whiff of tobacco smoke. Eventually, I got up and went towards the kitchen. Through the window in the door, I could see the waitress hunched over, undoubtedly doing important things on her phone. Another employee in the kitchen saw me and signaled to her. At the table, she had to turn around to get the card reader, leaving no time for a tip, which wouldn't have been appropriate anyway. As I said, we were the only guests that evening. In my opinion, the ambiance and the corresponding expectations for service don't match. We certainly won't be dining there again.

Unfortunately, this was a totally disappointing visit. The pasta was rock hard and cold, the pizzas only lukewarm. On top of that, the music was extremely loud and really bad – it was almost impossible to have a conversation. The server seemed completely unenthusiastic, sat off to the side most of the time, and only came to our table twice. Not once was she asked if we wanted anything else to drink or if everything was alright. When we finally wanted to order, she was nowhere to be found – we had to ask in the kitchen if someone could send her. I've truly never experienced anything like it. Definitely not recommended.

The server came to our table once to take our order and didn't return until two hours later when we called her back to pay. Our glasses had been empty for a long time, but she didn't even ask if we wanted anything else. Dessert wasn't offered either. The food was excellent nonetheless, and the atmosphere was lovely. It's one thing if something like this gets overlooked because all the tables are full, but there were only four tables occupied. We've been there before in the summer, and the service on the terrace was more than good then, too.

The restaurant's motto, "You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend," sums it up perfectly. During my rehab, this restaurant became a regular haunt for my rehab friends and me. The sea bream and sea bass were a culinary delight. The service and the food were always impressive...it's so harmonious. I'd go back anytime, should I ever be in the area again.👌

The pizzas are gigantic. Nice and thin and crispy, with a delicious sauce and high-quality toppings. Best of all, the pizzas go above and beyond! And all at really reasonable prices. The ambiance is also great. A large, beautiful outdoor terrace with a beautiful view of the golf course, and inside, a very stylish, warm ambiance with a well-designed layout. There are only two minor issues that make me deduct a star. 1. Unfortunately, the plates weren't preheated, so the pizza was cold towards the end. 2. Unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted. But everyone should still visit this pizzeria!

I'd happily give the service zero stars. We arrived at 5 p.m., and the food didn't arrive until 7:30 p.m. The golfers who arrived after us were given priority and served first. Our order was taken much earlier. I won't be back, even though the food was good.

A very disappointing evening! In short: - The manager greets us with a taciturn smile and then repeatedly walks through the dining room with her purse in her hand, without doing a single thing. - The waitress doesn't know the menu or the Italian names of the dishes and doesn't clear the empty tables. - The kitchen staff wears sweatpants. - Customers who arrived after us are served before us. - The paper towels in the restroom are out and replaced with a toilet paper roll. This unfortunate situation should not leave the golf club untouched.

With great skepticism, I ordered penne with salmon and spinach and discovered a new favorite dish. For the very first time, I had an espresso with almonds in white chocolate. Great service and beautiful music.

We spontaneously called today at 8:15 p.m. and asked if we could come by for a pizza with three people. A cheerful "Of course, we look forward to seeing you, see you soon" was the reply. What we were offered was truly amazing: a caring service manager, an attentive, gallant waiter with Italian charm, a very cozy atmosphere, and subtle Italian music. After the expert advice, we quickly rejected the pizza and opted for penne with salmon, antipasti, and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and fillet tips. Along with a bottle of wine from Sicily. Delicious, delicious, delicious. My daughter has a new favorite dish. My wife (very experienced in Italian cuisine) is thrilled...you don't get that often. The espresso...just like in Italy...small, strong, hot...great. A house limoncello...unfortunately, you can't get that anywhere else anymore...here, you can. We congratulate you and hope everything stays this way for a very long time. Thank you so much for the lovely evening.

We always loved coming here, and this time we were extremely disappointed. There's been a change of tenant. Firstly, we waited a long time for our food; guests who came after us had already finished their meals long ago, and when we asked, we were told it would take a while because everything is made fresh. Pikata Milanese... Not veal, but tough ox, the pasta was almost raw, it was so hard. It's a shame, the previous tenant was so great. We won't be coming here anymore and won't recommend it to anyone. A real shame, especially on a golf course... Service only 2 stars because the staff don't see what's wrong. There's still plenty of room for improvement...

Anyone looking for authentic Italian food in the Kinzig Valley must head to the Gröbernhof in Zell. It feels like they're in Italy, with a view of the expanse of the Black Forest instead of the sea. The food is truly special, and the service is attentive, true to Italian tradition. The value for money is excellent. A definite recommendation. Update: New owner since August 1, 2025, and the restaurant has been upgraded by a notch.

We thought we'd go to a chic Italian restaurant right on the golf course – you can't go wrong there. Or so we thought... The restaurant (if you can call it that) was more of a Ballermann restaurant. A large group was obviously having a birthday party – no one has anything against a party, but as a guest, you do have something against your own music, brought along with your own speakers and Ballermann songs, including shouting and clapping – including embarrassment. The owners or management apparently didn't care. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the food, as we still had no food on the table after two hours. Staff were completely understaffed. We didn't want to wait any longer. To be honest, I feel very sorry for the staff, as their priorities obviously lie elsewhere.

It takes way too long. You'll fall asleep here. My son was also pushed badly by a staff member... My wife and I will definitely never go here again! And we won't recommend it to anyone! Regards

Charging €6.50 for such heartless bruschetta is truly disrespectful and lazy.

We're not golfers, but we were delighted to find such a great Italian restaurant in Zell am Hammersbach. In addition to delicious pizza, they also serve other great authentic Italian dishes. Very friendly service and a great location. We'll be passing through here again!

We waited over an hour for our food; the service was completely overwhelmed. The food was okay, but the price for some dishes was way too high.

I recently ate here and unfortunately had a rather disappointing experience. The ambience is really nice - stylishly furnished, pleasant lighting and a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, that was the only thing that was really convincing. The service left a lot to be desired. We had to wait forever for anyone to take our order, and even then it took far too long for the food to arrive. We had a small child with us who was promised she would get the food first - she got it last. At times the staff was difficult to reach and friendliness didn't seem to be a top priority. The food itself was absolutely not justified for the price. The dishes sounded promising on the menu, but the taste was pretty average - nothing special. The steak was served without any side dishes and there was more arugula on the pizza than anything else. Conclusion: A great atmosphere, but unfortunately that's not enough to overlook the poor service and disappointing food. I wouldn't eat here again.

After 90 minutes still no main course

Pizza was very tasty, excellent service, very friendly, furnishings were very nice. I ate there at 32°C and wanted to sit on the terrace but everything was full except for 4 tables outside. The service said they had been reserved for the golf club but the best thing is that there is absolutely no one there Golf club showed up so sat in probably 37 or 39 degrees just bad this golf club.

Went there spontaneously for dinner with 4 people without a reservation. Got a table without any problem. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The starters, pasta dishes and pizzas were very good. Everything is freshly cooked and with high quality ingredients. No run-of-the-mill Mama Miracoli kitchen. The cook came to the table personally to ask if everything tasted good and was okay. Ottimo Ristorante, you'll be happy to come by there again. Well, I don't understand the order... Cyclists ordered and got pure beer... Jackets hang in the cooled anteroom, so they're well ventilated and of course really cold when you put them on... Way too expensive...

I was in the restaurant with a group. The food was really good even though I didn't get what I ordered. But the waiter who served us was very unfriendly. A no-go. We won't go there anymore.

The meal was okay. We had pizza and ravioli. Our child a veal schnitzel. Apart from the fact that the board didn't say that there was pepperoni in the ravioli sauce, the veal schnitzel at €24.90 was definitely not veal. For the price it's just hefty and really a shame. The service was very slow, it was extremely chaotic and confused and drinks were forgotten twice.

Had a large order with 10 different pizzas… unfortunately the cheese was missing on all of them… What a shame

Very nice terrace with a view of Gröbernhof with the tower and the golf course. The waiter tried to be friendly and funny, which lasted until we didn't get in because of his pushy way of trying to sell us the sea bream. We had 4 different main courses. 1 out of 4 dishes was ok, the rest were not acceptable for this price range. Fried potatoes were certainly not fresh and had spots of condensation. The salade niçoise was a mixed salad with ready-made sauce. Unfortunately the pulp is still too tight. The service kept the glasses at the top of the rim, which is an absolute no-go. Maybe the pizzas are better, we'll never know. Conclusion: It's a shame that we couldn't get a better impression. Preparing a good Salade Niçoise is not a technical cooking challenge but a matter of the heart, which is not present here.

Das Essen war super lecker ,da geh ich wieder hin. ,

Wir waren heute das erste Mal da und sind begeistert. Eine gute Auswahl und die Qualität war auch sehr gut. Der Service aufmerksam und hat auch öfters geschaut, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Wir waren hier schon mehrmals als „Normalos“ essen und haben nun dieses Jahr dort geheiratet - von vorne bis hinten hat für uns alles gepasst! Alle sind so lieb und herzlich, das Essen war wirklich allererste Klasse und auch die ganze Planung war vollkommen unkompliziert. Vom Sektempfang bis zum Dessert und auch sonst hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Wir wussten zu jederzeit, dass das gesamte Team alles im Griff hat und konnten dank dessen den Tag in vollen Zügen genießen!

Sehr leckere Pizza und fantastische Aussicht von der Terrasse.

Unfreundlicher Kellner, hat die Bestellungen durcheinandergebracht, wollte 6 Salate abrechnen für 3 Personen, wovon 2 den Salat beim Tellergericht dabei hatten. Das Essen war gut und sehr reichlich, schön zubereitet. Bezahlt haben wir direkt an der Kasse, da er nach zweimaliger Bitte um die Rechnung nach 15 Min. nicht kommen wollte. Ach so: die Tageskarte (Tafel) hat man uns leider nicht gezeigt!

Sehr gute, authentische Pizza. Auch die weiteren Gerichte sind lecker. Einladendes Ambiente und freundliche Servicekräfte. Die Außenterrasse lädt richtig zum Verweilen und Aperol trinken ein.

Nur der Behelfs-Eingang und das alte Treppenhaus waren komisch, es wird umgebaut ..

Endlich mal ein italienisches Restaurant das mehr zu bieten hat als nur Pizza und Pasta al forno, sehr gutes Essen und tolles Personal!

Sehr guter Italiener. Hervorragende Anti-Pasti. Hatte anschließend Linguine Nero auf Burrata garniert mit Gambas und Kaviar. Sehr gut, absolut empfehlenswert! Meine Begleiter hatten Pizza. Auch die war super lecker. Die Tenne kann man wirklich empfehlen. Große Auswahl, italienisches Flair. Weiter so!

Meine soeben gelöschte Bewertung bezog sich auf den Vorpächter...,, nun war ich mit einem Geschäftspartner da. Verwirrend ist, dass die meisten Tische reserviert sind, aber kein Gast ankommt? Die Speisen sind sehr gut, die Speisekarte umfangreich und der Service sehr gut.

Das neue, italienische Restaurant von Zio in der Tenne (hat auch das Lokal im Golfclub Urloffen) ist wirklich klasse! Leckere, große Pizzen, Pasta, Fisch und Fleisch, aber auch leckere Vorspeisen und -platten. Sehr nettes Personal. Ein Besuch dort ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!
