Uhrige Kneipe mit typischer Einrichtung. Die Wirtin ist wirklich nett und sehr zuvorkommend. In regelmäßigen Abständen finden kleine Konzerte statt. Die Lage direkt an der Mittelstraße lädt auch zum Barhopping ein.

Die beste, gemütlichste und von der Admosphäre her die beste Kneipe in Gevelsberg. Super nette Angestellte und ich hatte dort immer viel Spaß und werde es in Zukunft auch noch oft haben.

Gevelsberger Traditionskneipe, vom "Hohen Eck" (?) In der Hochstraße, wo sich die Verlagsdrucker auf ein Bier trafen und es angeblich auch schon mal auf Nase gab, über den Uhlenspiegel- ein in den 80er Jahren neueröffnetes alternatives Konzept in Gevelsberg mit super Familienpizza, gelegentlicher Live Musik ( Highlight, die Schotten- "Rhythmnreal" im Oktober) bis heute, Ambiente fast unverändert. Echte Kneipe, zeitlos, cool. Konzept weitgehend beibehalten, kleine Karte für Kleinigkeit zum Bier, Familienpizza gibt es nicht mehr, aber schön (nicht instagram-stylisch), leider manchmal ein wenig leer.

We were passing through and were told about this restaurant by a guest from another restaurant whose kitchen wasn't open yet. We were definitely not disappointed. I wouldn't have thought you could eat such a delicious meal for such a reasonable price. The portions were so large that we couldn't finish them all. Even the children's portions were so large that one portion would have fed two kids. Yes, the sauce was ready-made, and the schnitzel was probably from a deep fryer. So what? Isn't it like that in other restaurants? They do completely different things there, and here you could even watch the chef at work, so I don't understand why other people complain. The service staff were very friendly and attentive. It's a shame we can't take this restaurant back to Bielefeld; it would definitely be very popular there. The only thing that could be improved was the restrooms. They were clean, but not particularly inviting.

Hochstraße 10We've been there three times now – and each time it's been simply outstanding! A true class of its own. For Christmas, we gave some of our customers vouchers – and we received endless thank-you emails, everyone was so thrilled! The exceptional quality of the dishes and the fantastic service are repeatedly praised. Our last visit with business partners was also a complete success – an unforgettable evening in a perfect atmosphere. A huge thank you to the management and the entire team – everything just works here! Absolutly fantastic, keep it up! Berkenberg 1A truly cozy atmosphere, both inside and out. Very quiet. And the food is truly delicious! There's a weekly specials menu to complement the classics. Highly recommended!
