Kässpatzen totally dry. Roast crust is salted and no longer juicy. Ambiance in the outdoor area is like a beer garden. Only the service was very nice. Wouldn't go there again.

I think the “cook” or operator has never been to a real Bavarian restaurant. The beer garden is really nice, the beer is delicious, but the food? The Bavarian sausage salad at least didn't deserve the name. But service is ok.

I recently visited Spatzl am Aasee in Münster and overall had a good experience. Most of the food was excellent: the white sausages were perfectly prepared, the pretzels were fresh and tasty, and the shandy tasted great. A small point of criticism concerns the Obatzta - the Camembert used was too bitter, which made the taste a bit unbalanced. A milder Camembert would have been better here. The staff was super friendly and the orders arrived quickly, which made the visit very pleasant. Another aspect that influences my rating is the location of the beer garden. It is located directly at a busy intersection, which causes a lot of noise and somewhat spoils the cozy atmosphere.

*edited review* After this incident, the management immediately took care of it and informed me that from now on I would only be allowed to collect money if I presented the invoice. The food is quite expensive for the quality but tasty, the beer garden is nice and the service was attentive and well organized throughout the stay. We then paid separately. However, when we collected bills of around 50 euros or more, the waiter automatically told us 2 euros more than we had to pay. This only became apparent after we wanted to take the bill with us. My friend and I were the only ones who requested the bill - after the payment process - and wanted to take it with us and thought that - even though the waiter said the adjusted amount twice - we had simply misheard each other and therefore said nothing. When we told our friends about this after our visit, they added up what they would have had to pay and from around 50 euros they somehow strangely said 2 euros more than they had to pay. I would like to point out that in this restaurant you should perhaps only pay once the bill has actually been printed out. ____________

Ordered fries and bratwurst in a roll in the self-service area during the European Championships. Waited 50 minutes. Delivered cold with a note to please wait in the self-service area. I did this for 35 minutes and then sat down 5m away. I didn't wait 50m for 2 little things and the store was only half full.

The Spatzl is a type of Bavarian restaurant in Münster. I had liver dumpling soup first. The dumplings tasted very good but the broth was from Maggi. The main course didn't taste like Bavarian style either. The price level is also higher than in BGL. I was there two weeks ago. This could definitely be better. Attention ⚠️ Only card payment possible!

Nice big, green beer garden. We were warmly welcomed and served very friendly. The food was very tasty, good portions and nice and hot! Finally, I got my main course for free because the waitress found out that it was my birthday. That was a big surprise and joy! We would go there again at any time, even if it wasn't my birthday!

Cheeky prices, bad service! Condition to watch European Football Championship: you have to be there 2 hours before kick-off. Otherwise you won't get a reservation. Absolute impudence!

Even in Munich the measure only costs €8.10 (e.g. Augustiner Wirtschaft on Marienplatz - the ultimate tourist destination). Yesterday we had dinner with 6 people and it was great. We sat outside... The knuckle was amazing, really tender and crispy. But the others also enjoyed it very much. The service was also very nice. So all in all, highly recommended.

Nice ambience, nice service. Would have liked to order more but the service couldn't keep up with the number of people. Everyone ordered liver loaf rolls. Some had super large discs and others unfortunately only had the small end piece (for the same price). Food on the other tables looked great.

We had an appetite for knuckle and ordered it based on what was on the menu: pork knuckle with sauerkraut and napkin dumplings. Service was poor and unfriendly when ordering drinks. Despite clearly ordering 0.3 beers, we received 0.5 beers with the comment: Only jugs outside. A disgrace for drivers! The knuckle we ordered turned out to be a nightmare: lukewarm, completely dry, obviously already reheated many times. If I had taken the knuckle with me and had it examined, it would have been pretty unpleasant for you. If these knuckles had been produced in the morning there would have been no problems. If your chef says so, maybe he should become a shepherd, but not cook anymore. Why not go to Stuhlmacher and eat a knuckle there? Then you'll know what knuckles look like and, above all, taste like! Your excellent and experienced service staff didn't ask us if everything was okay and so we couldn't answer "yes". The food was served to us quickly after we placed our order. Unfortunately the food wasn't really hot and unfortunately you could tell that it wasn't prepared with love. You couldn't tell that the food was seasoned at all. The Wiener Schnitzel with potatoes and cranberries was far too expensive at €27 and the portion was far too small for the price. Then we had meatloaf with fried potatoes. Here too, the portion was far too small and it didn't taste like the food had been seasoned at all. Unfortunately very disappointed.

We really enjoyed the beer garden here. Especially when the weather is nice, it's great fun to sit and eat comfortably in the "Bavarian" atmosphere. When it comes to food, one star is missing because my meatloaf is cold. My salad with raspberry dressing was very, very tasty. We had a very nice evening and the table right next to the house with the heaters is highly recommended. It's best to reserve a table in advance on Wednesday.

Great location right on Lake Aasee. A bit noisy outside, as it is located directly at an intersection, but I personally didn't find it disturbing, as there was a hedge all around to protect me from view and reduce noise. Great team, very friendly and definitely “Bavarian atmosphere”. The food selection was perfect, not too much, but very good quality. Price performance ratio is very good. It was definitely not the last time I was there.

Beautifully located restaurant on Lake Aasee. Unfortunately the service was quite poor, the lady was overwhelmed and unfriendly. We ordered a pretzel with Obatzda - €8.90 - that was a JOKE... it was like a baked pretzel, not recommended for Obatzda! You don't have to understand the fries for €5.90 either! Beer and other drinks are standard in terms of price, so it's okay.

For me, a real exclusion criterion is that you can only pay cashless. An absolute no-go. I think it's good that it's mentioned directly on the homepage, so you can go somewhere else straight away.

The staff was friendly, the beer garden was nicely decorated. My Leberkäs roll consisted of a very thin slice of Leberkäse in a baked roll. My friends' schnitzels were deep-fried frozen goods, and the sauces weren't homemade either. The salad with chicken breast for €19 was not worth the high price. Nice place to maybe grab a beer, avoid the food.

...actually I think bad reviews are stupid, because I think that if something is really wrong, you should talk about it. But after our visit on Easter Monday we were at a loss for words. Brief summary: although our drink order was asked in order to order something to eat, we had to ask directly because the two service staff were so engrossed in the conversation that they no longer noticed us. Then the food: the knuckle was delicious on the inside, but the outer layer was really charcoal-like, probably left over from the day before and quickly reheated. When lightly tapped on it, it dusted... But the big thing was the large salad for almost 20 euros: opened a bag of ready-made lettuce, put a bit of carrot on top, 2 cocktail tomatoes halved, dressing on top, done. I didn't ask for bread, which is part of it, but since there were three pieces of baguette on the board in front of the kitchen, I didn't bother. No questions were asked about any additional drink requests or whether everything would be ok. The ladies' room looked really bad. It's a shame, it's a great restaurant, because that's what it used to be for us, less so. Maybe we had a bad day?

We ate in the beer garden when the weather was nice. You notice surprisingly little of the intersection directly in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful sunshine, the parasols were closed. When we wanted to sit down at one of the few tables in the shade, we were informed that this area was closed because it wasn't that busy yet. Unfortunately, as a vegetarian you won't find anything here, but that's what I was prepared for, it's Bavarian after all. Unfortunately we didn't get our starter until after the main course and had to ask again... But the food itself was very tasty!

Overall, our favorite location has become a run-down shop with probably only a very limited lifespan. What a shame!

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our food at the Spatzl. Instead of hearty, bavarian inspired dishes we were served almost exclusively re-heated food that was cooked at a central kitchen elsewhere. The drinks were tasty but beer especially was very expensive, which was untypical to say the least for a "Allgäu" inspired place. We had high hopes (due to the nice location at the Aasee) but were severely disappointed and will not come again. Places like the Pinkus Brauhaus, the Kiepenkerl or the KöPi Stuben are much better and wayyyyy more authentic.

There was something in my wife's food that had gone bad. Some of the vegetables in the salad? The dressing? But very clearly something started rotting. Up to that point, we already said that the baked potatoes were boiled without color and the crispy pork had a chewey thin skin without any crisp to be found. People at other tables cut it off thinking it wasn't supposed to be eaten while it is what gives the dish its name. Such a disappointment when you think you found a piece of bavaria closer to home. Especially with some items at crazy prices not even found in bavaria and signature items missing from the menu like zwiebelrostbraten or schwabenteller. Service was friendly and seemed ashamed as if this wasn't the first complaint- we DID immediately mention the issues. But this is not something you 'immediately solve' on the spot. I hope they get a better kitchen crew / management because that's really all that is missing to make this place great. By the looks of all reviews, the owner just knows how to run a bar and not a restaurant.

Das Gans N'Klosses-Menü mit acht Personen war richtig klasse. Es war alles sehr lecker in einem schönen weihnachtlichem Ambiente. Toller aufmerksamer Service, so kann man den zweiten Advent nett verbringen 🪿🌲🌟🕯🕯🤩🥂!!

Veel te weinig leuke terassen in Münster, maar dit is er één van. Een gezellig teras waar je buiten kunt zitten met heather, dus je zit heerlijk warm. Vriendelijke bediening. Als je buiten bier wilt bestellen, dan kan je wel alleen maar 0,5L bestellen. Jammer dat dit niet wat kleiner kan.

So ein gemütliches Gasthaus. Rustikal mit viel Holz, Bierkrügen mit Besteck und auf der Terrasse Decken und ein offenes Feuer. Die Brezeln waren frisch und geschmacklich echt top. Der Kakao mit Sahne war keine kleine Tasse sondern ein riesiger Pott und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und ging wirklich schnell. Wer in Münster ist, sollte hier auf jeden Fall vorbei kommen.

Schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente. Derzeit weihnachtlich geschmückt und mit entsprechender playlist ausgestattet kommt Vorfreude auf die Feiertage auf. Die Kellnerin ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist prima - unbedingt das zusätzliche Winter Menü anschauen! Bei dem Wildgulasch hätte das Fleisch etwas zarter sein können sonst alles prima. Die Zimtknödel waren Mega. Und mittags gibt es 30% Rabatt bis 14.30 Uhr!

Wir haben bei Spatzl zu Mittag eine Runde Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes bestellt. Zwei Dinge fielen sofort auf: Die Mayo wurde bei allen vergessen und die Portionierung der Pommes war mehr als übersichtlich (faustgroße Leerräume gehören meiner Meinung nach nicht in eine kleine Warmhaltebox - warum spart man bei den Pommes?). Der Salat war komplett in sich zusammengefallen. Leider war auch der Geschmack der Gerichte unbefriedigend. Das Schnitzel schmeckte und roch alt. Lecker war allein die Salatsoße. Für knapp 21 € pro Person (!) war das ein Reinfall, besonders wenn man bedenkt, dass diverse Imbisse für ca. 10 € ein Schnitzel anbieten, das zumindest appetitlich, wenn auch vielleicht nicht hochwertig ist. Wir sind ein Büro mit zehn Personen und bestellen mittags regelmäßig warmes Essen - hier allerdings kein zweites Mal. Schade!

Freundliche Bedienung gute bayrische Küche es war ein netter Abend

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend mit fünf Personen im Spatzl und können die negativen und kritiklosen Bewertungen kein Stück nachvollziehen. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Gerichte auf der Karte übersichtlich, aber in dem Fall gut, da die Speisen (wir hatten Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeise) so nicht lange gebraucht haben aber sehr lecker, frisch, üppig und heiß serviert wurden. Obwohl der Laden gut gefüllt war, war ordentlich Personal da, welches sich sehr aufmerksam verhielt und immer einen guten Spruch auf den Lippen hatte. Man sollte sich einen eigenen Eindruck machen und sich nicht von den teilweise schlechten Bewertungen irritieren lassen! Wir kommen wieder! :-)

Wir haben mit einer Gruppe von Leuten hier gegessen und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war lecker, der Service gut, und die rustikale Atmosphäre schuf eine besonders gemütliche Stimmung. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch.
