You feel right at home the moment you walk in – warm lighting, a cozy atmosphere, and a team that greets you warmly. The food is absolutely top-notch: fresh, aromatic, and prepared with genuine care. The grilled specialties are a particular highlight – tender meat, perfect flavor, and fantastic side dishes. The appetizer platter was also a dream, everything beautifully coordinated and plentiful. The service is attentive, quick, and friendly. You can tell that they work with passion. The value for money is also excellent. If you're in Münster and looking for good Greek cuisine and a relaxing evening, I highly recommend Santorini Münster. I'll definitely be back! The toilet was disgusting, the meat was partly undercooked, unseasoned, and tough. We had reserved a table, but they had given it away despite several prior calls to confirm our reservation, which we confirmed. The staff seemed more interested in taking selfies and making TikTok videos than serving the guests.

It used to be better. We had to sit on garden chairs. The service was attentive but overwhelmed.

After yesterday's visit to what was once our "favorite Greek restaurant," my new review can only be described as "a significant decline." We waited almost two hours for our food, and even the drinks arrived with a considerable delay. To make matters worse, much of the food on our plates was almost cold, making it a complete culinary disaster! What happened? We did receive one or two extra ouzos afterward, but no proper apology. This is not what I consider typical Greek hospitality—not at all like Santorini. What was going on yesterday? We sincerely request a substantial improvement. We would love to enjoy good Greek food again on our next visit, without a long wait and in a friendly atmosphere.

Small, rustic restaurant, but unfortunately the young waitresses seemed a bit overwhelmed by the large number of customers. The side salad only arrived when we were halfway through our meal. Since I couldn't eat the side salad due to an intolerance, the waitress offered to ask the kitchen if I could get a new salad without the offending ingredient. However, she forgot to ask. Only after we paid, which also took a while, did the waitress apologize for forgetting me. She offered to give me a salad to take away for my partner, but that also took several minutes to arrive. In the meantime, another waitress asked if we would like an ozu, which we gladly accepted, but the ozu never arrived either. After waiting for more than 10 minutes, we got up and left. As for the food itself, it was very tasty. It's also important to know that they only accept cash.

We had reserved a table for the evening at Restaurant Santorini and arrived with high expectations, having had a very positive experience a few years ago. Unfortunately, this visit was a significant disappointment. Despite our reservation, we had to wait almost half an hour before we were even seated – without any apology or even a brief "We're sorry for the wait." A small gesture or a thoughtful word would have been much appreciated. Upon arrival at the table, the menu immediately caught our eye. It was in a state that suggested it had seen better days – wavy, partially disintegrated, and definitely not something you'd want to hand to guests. And then… nothing happened. For an extended period, no one even came by to take our drink order. Yes, it was busy, but even then, a quick visit to the table after a certain amount of time should be possible. After the long wait to be seated and the lack of service, we finally decided to leave. It was a real shame, as we had been really looking forward to the evening – especially after our positive experiences in the past. Therefore, we were unfortunately unable to rate the food.

I was at the restaurant yesterday and had a truly wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, and the owner was also very friendly. They, and the entire team, created a really cozy and pleasant atmosphere. You simply feel welcome. The first time, I stumbled upon this place completely unexpectedly, but what a stroke of luck! The Greek food was so delicious and authentic that I immediately knew: this is where I'm going. And indeed, the second time, I deliberately drove from the Netherlands to Germany to enjoy this fantastic restaurant again. The dishes are fresh and flavorful, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Two visits, both excellent. Absolutely recommended for anyone who loves delicious Greek food!

Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for our pizza. They had said it would take a little longer, but over an hour is quite an exaggeration when they only said "a little longer." It seems the wording of the sentence is misleading. However, the pizza was quite dry and not the best choice. We overheard someone at the next table saying the pizza there is never anything special. We can't comment on that since this was our first visit. Otherwise, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The restroom area could use a bit of renovation, but otherwise, the atmosphere is very charming and inviting. We'll probably give the place another chance. But we won't be ordering pizza again! 😂

Last Friday, I went here for dinner with a good friend, and I had tuna steak for the first time in my life. It was delicious. What I'd particularly like to highlight is the service and the way the guests are treated. You feel very welcome from the moment you walk in. You're greeted warmly and shown to your table. Everything was very quick, and even though the restaurant was full, we continued to be served promptly and courteously. By the way, if you're a fan of Greek wine, you'll find a great selection here, including the excellent Rezina made with resin.

As with pretty much every Greek restaurant: everything is always too much. Here too, we made the "mistake" of ordering a meat platter. We had the leftovers packed up and made three individual portions from them at home. Rather expensive for a Greek restaurant; a platter always cost between €22 and €24. You wish there was less, both on the plate and on the bill. Even a large Mezzo Mix at €5.20 is actually too much. We were annoyed by the requirement to pay in cash. We hardly ever carry cash with us. Therefore, only 4 stars for service, even though the staff were really very friendly. I had ordered my platter with Greek baked potatoes, but instead, fries arrived. I mentioned this immediately, and the response was: "I'll bring them right away." So, potatoes in addition to the fries... Since there was also a small side salad and large pieces of bread, we hardly ate any of the main dishes. The atmosphere is really cute, and you can easily have a conversation because the tables are tucked away in alcoves. It's not very noisy. Parking is rather difficult; you can't find anything on the street, so you have to use the paid parking garage. So, if you want to eat your fill of meat, this is the place to go.

I was at the restaurant today and I'm absolutely thrilled! The food was delicious, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous, so you'll feel completely full. The waitress was super friendly, attentive, and always in a good mood. The manager was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole atmosphere even more pleasant. An all-around fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant!

We ate here with some friends. Unfortunately, the restaurant is quite dated and needs a thorough cleaning. I was personally very disappointed with the food. I ordered a Cretan plate and expressed a desire for lamb chops instead of the gyro. My request was granted, but I was told there would be an additional charge. When my food finally arrived after a long wait, I was faced with five sad squid rings and two small lamb chops. Very simple and average in taste. Oh well, but why did I order that? If you go to a Greek restaurant, you order gyro, rice and tzatziki and you get plenty of that. This was probably my last visit to this restaurant. The service is great and the ouzo flows freely.

Top-notch staff – the two women were sooo friendly and on the ball. Top-notch. But then it stops. Everything else is the worst kind of horror show. The place is filthy and rancid, like a dream sequence from the Twilight Zone. On the way to the restroom, you have to be careful not to slip on the layer of grease, disgusting. Menus are very worn and sometimes even dirty. The starter came with a salad and bread, which was really delicious. The main course was too salty; the pink cream on the plate resembled mortar and tasted terribly artificial. The vegetable side dish was swimming in grease and was clearly overcooked. You can only pay in cash, so you'll have to think to yourself *cough*

We visited the Santorini Restaurant in Münster, and it was simply fantastic! We received a warm welcome upon arrival – the owner, Ani, is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome. The food was outstanding: freshly prepared, lovingly presented, and a true highlight. You can tell the passion the chef puts into cooking here. We felt completely at home and would love to return. Highly recommended!

This isn't our first time eating there. We knew the ambiance wasn't great, but it used to be really delicious. I was looking forward to it. I wonder if the owners and/or chef have changed. The obligatory, once super delicious, fresh homemade bread was old and dry. First disappointment. Then the food arrived. It was dry and lukewarm, just warmed up, having definitely been prepared hours in advance. I ordered the stuffed minced pork as usual. The pig was killed twice. The texture was like cardboard. The oven-baked potatoes had never seen the inside of the oven. My husband had the 204 restaurant's specialty, filled puff pastry parcels with gyros in various sauces. If we're lucky, it might have been prepared in the morning, but it definitely wasn't fresh out of the oven. The only positive thing is that the service is very friendly and kind, but at the end of the day, for that money, I could have had a more delicious and, above all, freshly cooked meal somewhere else. Sorry, but they've lost me as a customer.

The food has deteriorated considerably. We used to eat there often, but the last time was a disaster. We waited over an hour for the food, and the gyro was pretty burnt and dry. The place needs a renovation. Despite having a reservation, we were seated on random garden chairs that didn't fit the table, making them very uncomfortable. The atmosphere is completely out of place for the prices they charge. And then you can't even pay by card, only cash—it's simply outdated.

First of all, the food was really delicious. However, I do have to criticize the ambiance. It's showing its age, as is the restroom. The chairs are exactly the same height as the table, so you can't quite move forward. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed, but it was nice. The tables are very close together. In my opinion, this Greek restaurant could do more. A fresh coat of paint would be more than enough. Since the food was delicious, I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't care about the ambiance.

We passed this restaurant on our tour of Münster and were inspired by the menu. The food was very good. The service was extremely friendly and we had a very pleasant conversation while paying. We can't understand some of the reviews. If you don't like the atmosphere outside, you'll have to go inside. The restaurant owners can't do anything about it, and giving the ambiance a bad rating based on the space is, in my opinion, inappropriate. Secondly, Münster has created a pleasant privacy screen so you don't notice much of the space.

As a long-time Münster resident who enjoys Greek food, I can only recommend Santorini. The food is delicious and the service is prompt. I feel very comfortable here.

An authentic greek restaurant with lovely staff and delicious food! The portion are very big, but luckily they offer the option to take the food home so nothing gets wasted. They have many options on the menu! We will come back.

The first time we reserved a table we were sent home because the reservation wasn't saved (no big response) On the second visit we sat outside, unfortunately not particularly nice because of the junkies who are right on the other side. With our 3 course menu we had to wait 1 1/2 for our main course, it was cold and some of the meat was dry. The children's chair was completely dirty, screws were loose and sticking out, really an imposition. Unfortunately overall very disappointing. There is one star for the starter plate.

As a person who has already been on various vacations in Greece and therefore really enjoys Greek food, I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the visit to the restaurant. All in all, it was tasty, but it didn't blow my socks off. That certain something was simply missing. Solid store, but if there were better alternatives it wouldn't be my first choice.

It was a really good decision to celebrate a birthday there with around 20 people. The food was excellent and the owners were extremely lovely. We will be back and can highly recommend the restaurant!

Ordered again and once again received partly raw gyro meat! This can no longer be excused because it hasn't happened for the first, second or third time! We only give the 2 stars because of the squid rings and because of the fast delivery! Something like that simply shouldn't happen, even under stress... Photos have already been shown to the owner, but nothing has changed, unbelievable! Order, never again!

We had dinner with four people. First of all I have to mention that the service was really top. You can't do it better. As far as the food was concerned, we were more than satisfied. It was tasty and in very large portions. There was even so much that we had to have it packed up. Oh, the dessert was very tasty, but at some point it just didn't fit anymore.

We ate there today but not for the first time. The last time was 1.5 years ago. As before, we always had a voucher for the 3-course menu for 4 people. Starter plates were great, main courses, side dishes were all cold to lukewarm, gyros were sometimes very burnt and totally dry. The service was great, even though it was very busy the lady didn't let herself be disturbed. It's a shame, if the kitchen had done everything properly everything would have been perfect like before.

We ate here for the first time with a group of 5 people for a 3-course menu. Right at the entrance we received a friendly and warm welcome, so we felt very comfortable straight away. The food was more than plentiful and tasted excellent. The service was also excellent. People kept asking if everything was okay. Finally, the price-performance ratio was also good. How should I start, I'm more than disappointed. It's been a while since I was last there, but the fact that the quality has become so poor leaves me speechless. The entire restaurant is dirty, in the toilet or on the way there there is a very unpleasant smell in your nose, sticky floor, behind the counter unclean and very untidy. The drinks are served in dirty glasses, after a complaint the beer is simply poured into another glass...no go. The side salad was in no way flavored with dressing, only the coleslaw added some spice. The food is cold and the meat feels like it's past its consumption date. My conclusion: I won't be coming back and I think it's a shame to let a restaurant that was once so good go into such disrepair.

Nice Greek restaurant near the train station. I felt like gyros and went there spontaneously. Since I was alone, I was given a small table in an annex. First of all there was an ouzu on the house The service was very friendly and I had already decided on grilled pepperoni. For this starter I ordered the house recommendation: a grilled Salsicca skewer with gyros and fries. There was also a small salad and bread with tzatziki. Everything tasted very good and the friendly waitress kept coming back to ask if everything was to my satisfaction. I declined dessert, but I did get one last ouzo at the bar. I would love to come back on my next visit to Münster

We ate here with 11 people and everyone was very satisfied! The starters are huge! I had tzatziki and the portion was enough for 4 people. Then I have a grill plate with a chicken skewer and a skewer with pork medallions and gyros. Plus fries and a Greek salad. All portions were very generous! In the pictures you can see gratinated gyros with Mettaxa sauce and a gyros plate! All very good!

Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant landeten wir in diesem Lokal. Schon der erste Eindruck machte uns stutzig. Das Restaurant war noch spärlich besetzt, doch schienen alle Tische reserviert zu sein. Wir konnten aber an einem Katzentisch im Gang Platz nehmen. Wenig später kamen ebenfalls Gäste, die nicht reserviert hatten, die jedoch eine freie Wahl hatten. Aber wie dem auch sei. Die Atmosphäre war alles in allem ungemütlich und kalt. So auch die Temperatur im Raum. Das Essen war zum Teil kalt (Moussaka) und erfüllte leider unsere Erwartungen nicht. Kartoffeln waren säuerlich und der Beilagensalat bestand im Wesentlichen aus Krautsalat und ein paar grünen, trockenen Blättern. Fazit: leider eine Enttäuschung

I recently visited Santorini Restaurant and absolutely loved it! The service was simply excellent the staff were friendly, attentive and really looked after us. The food was to die for! Every dish was freshly prepared and full of flavor. The salmon fillet in particular was a highlight, simply delicious! The decor was inviting and created a relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for a lovely evening. I can highly recommend Santorini, it was an all around great experience!

Even though we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was fully booked, they tried everything to organize a table for us. That worked after a short wait. The service was very friendly and the food tasted simply amazing! Clear recommendation!

We reserved a table for 5 people 1 to 1 1/2 hours before arrival. The restaurant was very busy with large groups. We waited almost 1 1/2 hours for the food to arrive. These were then mostly lukewarm to cold. After the first drink, no one asked for another one. Apparently there were some service staff there, but they had to be instructed by the main service staff. Unfortunately, the others didn't think of serving the guests on their own initiative. Maybe it was the first day... After an exchange regarding payment, we were accommodated and informed that only one cook was handling the dishes and work in the kitchen. Hats off. Nevertheless, at this point we should have seen whether we could accommodate more guests instead of putting them off until another day. Because no one came out of the whole thing really satisfied. We were there a few years ago and can say that it was otherwise highly recommended. The service staff handled the situation professionally and diplomatically.

Very friendly and attentive service, delicious food, tasty prepared, very large selection of dishes, large portions and reasonable prices in relation to this. If the restaurant is full (Saturdays), plan on waiting, the service is still very friendly, but a bit overwhelmed, as is the kitchen (our gyros were lukewarm). Next visit on the 5th At 11.24 we got our drinks quickly from a friendly waitress, but we still didn't get the food we ordered after 75 minutes and then left the restaurant (while other guests had already received their food, even though they had arrived a long way after us).

I was not welcome as a 'to good to go' customer. If you don't know if there's anything left, you shouldn't offer it. You can't beat it when it comes to unfriendliness.

Despite the location, the staff at Santorini immediately give you a warm feeling of being really wanted. More than friendly and accommodating and really good food - the homemade bread was super good! Even we, as non-alcoholic adults, were accepted and sweetly handed over small bags of Haribo instead of two pinches. We can only recommend it - even for vegetarians! (The Greek baked potatoes along with the starter feta plate are to die for!).

In many cities it is difficult to find decent restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the train station. So I was grateful for this find. This restaurant is the unpretentious neighborhood Greek restaurant around the corner that suddenly fills up with regulars from 6:15 p.m. on a Saturday evening thanks to its cozy atmosphere, friendly service and the best quality. The two young waitresses were very smart and always had everything under control despite being very busy. An exemplary restaurant with very good value for money, generous portion sizes of really good quality and the obligatory ouzo on the house. There is still tango here. I hope restaurants like this never die out.

Very warm welcome and friendly service. Unfortunately that is not enough. The gyro was greasy, the minced meat was too dry, and the skewer was no longer tested. Fries were soggy and the plate was decorated with what felt like a whole vegetable onion. Had everything returned. Never had such a bad Greek meal before. The noise level was an additional disaster, thanks to parents nowadays who raise their children in an anti-authoritarian way. Of course you can't blame the restaurant for that.

The service was very good and friendly. We had the appetizer platter which was good. Unfortunately the main courses weren't really good. The gyro was far too fatty for us, partly stringy and we had some cartilage in the meat. The liver wasn't as expected either. Different thicknesses and therefore from completely cooked to raw. All in all, quite disappointing for us. The experience was crowned by the neighboring table where children tried to outdo each other in terms of volume, but the restaurant can't do anything about that. It will stay with one visit...what a shame.

Reserved at 5:30 p.m., but we were still standing in front of the closed door at 5:35 p.m. Then finally inside, it was very cold and unclean in the corners. The gyros was very, very coarsely cut and relatively gristle-heavy, and the taste was sometimes strange. The only thing that was really positive was the friendly service.
