Lohmann Irodion in Münster

We stopped here for dinner while passing through. The food was great. Not overly spicy, almost like in Greece. I would eat here all the time if it weren't so sold out.

A beautifully decorated restaurant. The service is prompt, and the staff and chef always have witty and lighthearted remarks. The food is excellent and very tasty. The portions are generous, and the value for money is absolutely excellent. We highly recommend it; we will definitely be back.

The food is a 10 out of 10. The setting is really nice. It's worth stopping by. The restaurant is also family-friendly and even has a playground. The restaurant also looks really good and Greek.

The service was very good and friendly. The area is ideal for small children. But... ... the food was not tasty. The chicken breast fillet was tasteless and, even when bitten into, didn't remind you of any experience with good meat. The sauce was floury and lacking in flavor, and the gratinated portions on the menu were apparently made up of some cheese in the sauce. The salad also contained only cheap ingredients and was carelessly cut into large pieces. So, I wouldn't recommend it.

We only visited the restaurant. Top-notch. Service was friendly and extremely prompt. The appetizer platter was delicious and well-balanced. The main course was quick, hot, and served on preheated plates. All dishes were as requested. Expectations met. We'd be happy to return. YIA MAS

This was only our second time eating here, but everything from the price-performance ratio to the service was top-notch! Despite the hour-long drive, we always enjoy coming back and can only recommend it 👍👍

wir sind immmer sehr zufrieden. Sehr freundliche Bewirtung. Stifado ist so gut, wir nehmen uns bei jedem Besuch 2 Portionen für den nächsten Tag mit. Aber auch was wir sonst eessen, ist immer ausgezeichnet. Es werden auch Sonderwünsche angenommen. Leider - wir wohnen weiter weg. Schaffen es aber trotzdem immer wieder her. Mein Mann und ich und auch unsere Kinder mit Familie. Wir haben es morgen wieder vor und freuen uns auf das gute Essen

I was at Lohmann/Irodion for the first time today (January 11th, 2025). A work colleague gave me the tip a week before. We talked about restaurants and how you always go to what you know. And as of today this includes “the Greek” Irodion. The service was good, friendly and quick. The ambience is nice. Which I like too. The salad bar. Every guest can put together their own salad there. Salads are available with every main course. The food was really tasty. I had pork medallions with pepper sauce. The meat was grilled really tender. I noticed it the first time I pecked the meat with the fork. And you hardly had to chew when you ate it. I haven't had such a tender piece of meat in a long time. I don't even think so. I can only recommend Lohmann or Irodion. Further visits are pending. I can't say anything about the rooms. Because I was only in the restaurant. I can't give a rating for the location either. Since I was just a guest and am not there every day. I would say it felt. Good location. There are residential areas all around and Münster is also relatively close. In summer a nice bike tour with a delicious stopover.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal und super Karte. Ich esse dort immer gegrillte Kalbsleber, die ich: erstens sehr selten auf der Karte finde und zweitens: selten so perfekt rosa gebraten ist.

Ich war schon immer neugierig auf dieses Lokal! Ich wollte mir ein eigenes Bild machen, hatte nicht nur Gutes über das Restaurant gehört. Fazit: ich habe das Restaurant nach Platzanweisung nach 20Minuten verlassen; ich hatte weder Speisekarte noch Getränk geschweige bin ich danach gefragt worden. Ich bin dann zu meinem Lieblingsgriechen in Hiltrup gefahren! Herzliche Begrüßung und tolles Essen. Dafür noch einmal herzlichen Dank!

Ambiance was good. Gyros totally unseasoned. Pork fillet was well fried, but the only way to save it was with salt and pepper. Not crispy. Fries not crispy...everything bland. I've had much better Greek food. Salad bar ordinary. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right.

Nicht überwürzt. Da gibt es nur wenige vergleichbare Griechen. Und akustisch gut. Obwohl es voll war konnte man sich gut unterhalten. Aus diesem Grund haben wir unser bisheriges Restaurant nicht mehr gebucht.

Könnte mein neuer Lieblongsgrieche werden, auch mit Kindern gut zu machen. Lieber nicht draußen unter dem Dach, da hat man den Spielplatz nicht gut im Blick...

Von außen eher abschreckend von innen trotz der Größe erstaunlich ruhig. Wenn der Laden voll ist ist der Schallpegel natürlich höher. Das Essen einfach super. Überraschungsmomente wie große Gartentüren machen das Ganze auch im Sommer zu einem Erlebnis.

Super! Sind immer wieder gerne da. Das Essen ist sehr gut, nettes Personal und schöne Atmosphäre.

Sind drei Tage in der Region Münster und hat Lust auf Griechisch. Die Begrüssung und der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend . Das Essen war gut, so dass das Preis/ Leistung verhälniss stimmte.

Von außen sieht das "Irodion" zunächst nicht besonders einladend oder gepflegt aus, da mag sich mancher bei der Vorbeifahrt täuschen lassen. Wenn man eintritt, wird der Eindruck schon besser, und wenn man dann bedient wird und die Speisen vorgesetzt bekommt, merkt man, dass man eine gute Wahl mit dem Restaurant getroffen hat. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Speisen lecker und reichlich portioniert, die Preise sehr fair. Kurzum, hierhin kann und darf man auch mehrfach gehen, zumal die Karte sehr reichhaltig ist und z.B. gleich mehrere Angebote mit nach griechischer Faḉon zubereitetem Fleisch und passenden Beilagen aufweist. Da auch einige nicht typisch griechische Gerichte angeboten werden, trifft das Angebot des "Irodion" auch für nicht starr auf griechische Küche festgelegte Geschmäcker ins Schwarze.

Das Restaurant kann ich leider nicht positiv bewerten: Wir haben einen Tisch für 4 Personen auf der Terrasse gebucht. Schon die Begrüßung war nicht griechisch. Das Essen war auch nicht griechisch. Es gab nur ein kleines Salatbuffet (KEINE Tomaten und ohne Seefrüchte). Um zum Buffet zu gelangen, musste man durch den Toiletten Flur mit den Tellern gehen. Das Essen hatte auch keine typisch griechischen Gewürze. Es gab keine griechischen Kartoffeln. Die Lammkoteletts wurden eher gekocht als gegrillt. Das Bifteki meines Partners war so salzig, dass man es nicht essen konnte. Die Stimmung auf der Gartenterrasse glich einer Schützenparty. Alte Deutsche saßen laut schreiend auf der Bühne, die Stimmung glich einem Schützenfest. Das Personal verstand auch überhaupt kein Griechisch. Es gibt definitiv bessere griechische Restaurants in Münster als dieses nicht Griechische. Wir werden weiter suchen!

Altes Gasthaus im Stadtteil Mecklenbeck in Münster. Seit einigen Jahren ist es ein griechisches Lokal mit großem Biergarten. Nebenan auch ein Hotel.

Service super freundlich sehr aufmerksam, essen einfach lecker 😋 hier kommen wir sehr gerne wieder essen. Personal super freundlich Anlage sehr sauber alles einwandfrei und perfekt.

Gerade mal wieder was bei Irodion in Mecklenbeck bestellt und schon verputzt!! Wie immer hervorragende Qualität und sehr erfreute und freundliche Gastwirte! So kennen wie es aus der Zeit vor Corona und das hat sich auch nicht geändert. Ich kann nur sagen, bitte unterstützt dieses Lokal mit Euren Bestellungen!

Über Geschmack lässt sich bekannterweise streiten. Wir 48/44 mögen den klassischen Griechen mit typischen Fleischplatten und leckeren Vorspeisen. Ein Salatbuffet gibt es, nutzen wir aber nicht. Zum Salat essen gehen wir hier nicht hin. Die Portionen sind großzügig, das Essen immer lecker und das Personal exzellent. Mit viel Aufmerksamkeit und Freude wird man hier bedient, wie nicht allzu oft im Studenten belasteten Münster. Der großzügige Biergarten, fast komplett überdacht, ist das Highlight des Restaurants. Absolute Empfehlung!

Schade, bislang haben wir den Service und die nette Atmosphäre zu schätzen gewusst und waren häufig zu Gast. Für uns unerklärlich, warum sich das so geändert hat. Höhere Preise, schlechterer Service, ungepflegte Außenanlage. Hoffentlich wird das wieder anders. Einmal werden wir es noch testen.

Tijdens ons lange weekend Münster hebben we drie van de vier dagen buiten ons hotel gegeten omdat dit uiteindelijk afwisselender en goedkoper was. Zo hebben we ook dit restaurant bezocht. Het eten is heel erg lekker. Ze hebben echt een hele ruime keuze en elk gerecht kan je in grote of kleine porties krijgen. Wel, de meesten in ons gezelschap kregen hun kleine portie niet of slechts met moeite op. Wij hadden voor circa €25 per persoon een complete avondmaaltijd met drankjes en nagerecht. Vriendelijk personeel en alles heel schoon. Zeker een aanrader! O .... en de uzo die je in Nederland meestal vooraf krijgt, komt hier bij de afrekening :-)

A large parking lot, a spacious and bright restaurant, friendly, hospitable staff, reasonable prices and tasty food, served in large portions. You won't leave this place hungry. I was served with the largest Bifteki I have ever seen.

Das Personal ist freundlich und hat immer Zeit für ein netten Gespräch. Wir gehen inzwischen häufiger mit der Familie dort essen. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und der Wein auch.

Also ich wollte mit meiner Frau gut, griechisch essen. Wir waren auch früher schon da, es war gut. Aber das es sich inzwischen so schlecht entwickelt hat geht gar nicht. Das Essen war kalt und hat auch so nicht geschmeckt, ich habe meins nicht gegessen. Ketchup und Majo werden in Drücktüten auf Unterteller auf den Tisch gestellt. Das Personal war auch irgendwie voll gestresst. Zum Essen: ich habe das Gyros angesehen, es war niemals frisch vom Spieß geschnitten, die Salatbar war fast leer geräumt. Das beste waren die Getränke, aber das ist ja auch wohl nicht schwer. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht weiter empfehlen. Christa und Thomas 55/55 aus Münster

Where better to sample delicious Greek food, but Germany ? Joking aside this was an excellently presented and tasteful meal for six. Everyone enjoyed the food and the management even welcomed a baby into the restaurant. It's a little "out of the way" for those visiting the City Centre, but for anyone visiting the AaSee (Lake) or Zoo it's perfect. Meals were delivered quickly and hot (both unlike Greece !) and in a pleasant manner. Prices were reasonable, especially for a city and Ouzos were provided free of charge at the end of the meal. The only downside was that the waiter was NOT Greek, but the Manager was.

Der Außenbereich hat sehr gewonnen und lädt mittlerweile auch bei nicht so gutem Wetter zum Aufenthalt draußen ein. Das Essen ist weiterhin gut und passt auch von Preis/Leistung. Die Portionen reichlich, Geschmack gut und schnelle, sowie freundliche Bedienung.
