Sehr zu empfehlen! Gutes Essen in großen Portionen zu einem fairen Preis. Der Service ist auch gut, man muss nicht lange warten und es wird nach einem geschaut. Immer wieder gerne.

An einem Freitag Abend da gewesen, nicht viel los gewesen... eine Rigatoni al Forno besteht kam recht schnell dafür lauwarm bis kalt, auf Reklamieren ließ sich die Bedienung nicht ein. Schlechte Qualität und Teuere Preise.

Die Qualität des Essens war gut. Der Service hingegen nicht. Wir mussten lange auf die Bestellung warten. Wir mussten mehrmals nach einem Kinderstuhl fragen. Es dauerte über 30 Minuten, bis wir zwei Burger bekamen. Und es war etwas teuer.

Personal ist sehr hübsch und freundlich. Hübsch aussehen zieht sich dann durch das ganze Konzept. Wir waren 3 mal da - Essen sah immer hübsch aus. Bei allen drei Terminen war das Restaurant 1/4 bis 1/2 voll. Handwerklich gibt es dann leider viele kleine Fehler, die es bei den gehobenen Preisen nicht geben dürfte. Scene 1: Essenslieferung. Wenn ein Tisch Essen bestellt hat, dann sollte das auch zeitgleich und warm serviert werden. Das Essen kam zweimal sehr verzögert / gestückelt, wodurch bei den Ersten das Essen kalt war, bis alle mit Essen anfangen konnten. (Wenn eine Kellnerin noch mal in die Küche muss für die nächsten Teller zu holen ist das OK, aber nicht, wenn das > 10 Minuten dauert) Die Alternative hatten wir auch: Essen kommt zeitnah zusammen, aber das Essen war schon kühl / kalt, wobei ich die Bezeichnung 'kaltes Essen' ungern benutze ... lasst mich das anders Formulieren: Die Kräuterbutter auf dem Steak zerläuft einfach nicht. Scene 2: Essen abräumen. 2 von 4 waren beim Essen langsamer. Dann wurden wir gefragt, ob die zwei leere Teller schon abgeräumt werden können - grundsätzlich ok... das bringt dann die Gruppe in diverse Konflikte: Die, die vielleicht noch auf Reste geiern, werden offenbart und auf die, die noch nicht fertig sind wird der Druck erhöht fertig zu werden. Ansonsten war, wie bereits erwähnt, das Personal immer sehr freundlich. Die Stühle werden nach 1,5 -2h ungemütlich, wenn möglich bucht einen Tisch mit Sitzbank. Toiletten spiegeln immer ein wenig das Gesamtbild. Bei den Herren war die hintere Kabine sehr dreckig. In der vorderen Kabine sind viele Kritzeleien. Eines dieser Kunstwerke ( Smylie ) wurde entweder mit einem braunen Stift gemalt oder was anderes. Pro: Sitzfläsche kann man desinfizieren. Kontra: beim linken Waschbecken war zwei Tage in Folge die Seife leer.

Immer gutes Essen und netter Service

Das Essen ist super lecker, egal was man isst. Riesen Portionen das jeder satt wird. Die Preise sind fair. Das Service Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.

Ich finde die Preise inzwischen unverschämt. Habe aus Jux mal verglichen, nur die teuersten Restaurants Stuttgarts verlangen geringfügig mehr für eine Portion Käsespätzle. Andere etwas gehobenere Restaurants in der Umgebung (zB Achalm in Reutlingen) deutlich drunter. Konnte man eine Zeit lang mit der Portionsgröße rechtfertigen aber inzwischen find ich's einfach unverhältnismäßig ...

Ein Restaurant das Frühstück anbietet sollte etwas mehr als nur ein schlechte vollautomatische Kaffeemaschine haben. Kaffe ist sehr schlecht. Hafermilch kostet unfassbare 1,5€ AUFPREIS! Essen ist nichts besonderes und zudem auch noch schlecht zurbereitet. Prochiertes Ei ist einfach nur hartgekocht. Geröstetes Bauernbrot ist eine ungetoastete Scheibe Brot vom Vortag! Einmal und nie wieder!

Es war super. Das Essen war noch besser als ich es in Erinnerung hatte. Ich kann den Schweizer Burger, wie auch alle anderen nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Salate sind ebenfalls besonders hervorzuheben. Sie heben sich deutlich von den klassischen Salaten ab, machen satt und sind sehr lecker. Immer wieder gerne!

Gutes essen. Wir hatten den Zwiebelrostbraten. Super Fleisch, souve vide gekocht, super Farbe und Butterzart. Die Spätzle waren vermutlich gekauft und nicht heimgesucht, was man bei dem Preis erwarten könnte. Danach Te mit super design/service welchen man oft, oder nie, nicht mal in der Kaffebar bekommt. Ich war am gestrigen Freitag dort mit 2 Personen zum Essen. Ich habe mir ein Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes frites bestellt. Zur Qualität des Fleisches: Schweinefleisch sehr dünn geschnitten dadurch war das Fleisch sehr trocken, die Sosse und Pommes waren okay. Preis - Leistung, bei einem Preis von 22,70€ erwarte ich eine bessere Qualität vom Fleisch! Für 10€ weniger bekomme ich im Billy Bobs Reutlingen eine Top Qualität geboten! In diesem Sinne, einmal und nie wieder!

Komplettes Essen ruiniert durch frittieren. Gyros war schwarz frittiert und steinhart. Unglaublich. Habe vom Burger meiner Freundin probiert. War ok. Hätte es nicht bezahlen sollen. Nicht noch einmal....... bestimmt nicht. Kein Gemüse oder etwas Salat bei 22 €?. Nein Danke. Flasche Wasser 7,60 €??????

40 Minuten - keine Bedienung. Dann bestellen wir gleich 2 Bier für jeden, die Bedienung versteht den Wink mit dem Zaunpfahl nicht und auch weitere 15 Minuten später hatten wir nichts zu trinken

Preis-Leistung stimmt hier leider gar nicht, ein Chicken Burger mit Süßkartoffelpommes und einer großen Cola Zero 24,90€. Essen war okay, hat mich und auch unsere Begleitung nicht begeistert. Leider fand ich auch die Bedingungen nicht wirklich nett und nicht kundenorientiert. Eine Person wollte noch einen Nachtisch wir mussten mehrmals nachfragen ob jemand zum bestellen kommen kann. Leider keine gute Kommunikation unter einander.

Ich war schon öfter da und wurde noch nie enttäuscht 👍allerdings können Senioren die Portionen meist nicht ganz schaffen 😕 das Personal packt aber, was möglich ist ein!!! Ein schöner Service ! Das" Krok" kann man beruhigt empfehlen! Respekt für die ganze Mannschaft 👍

Sehr sehr schlechtes Essen und unfassbar teuer für das was bekommt , preis Leistung passt überhaupt nicht , muss man leider wirklich so sagen . Spätzle nicht selber gemacht , sondern gekauft . Fleisch sehr schlechte Qualität ob schnitzel wie auch das Rumpsteak . Auch der Salat war sehr matschig .War mein erster Besuch, nicht zu empfehlen! mc Donalds ist ungefähr die selbe Qualitäts Klasse. Leider schade

We were very satisfied with the food. The portions were large, and they came with a side salad, which isn't available in other restaurants. We appreciate that. The waitress seemed very sad to me, as if she had been crying. That wasn't very nice. We felt sorry for her. As if something had happened. In general, it seemed as if the working atmosphere was a bit, well, so-so... We weren't greeted upon arrival and weren't said goodbye to when we left. That was a no-go, and we don't know that from the Krokodil in Rottenburg or the Krokodil in Balingen. Perhaps we picked the wrong day. It's the beginning of autumn, and everyone is notoriously in a bad mood. There's plenty of parking, and the ambiance is well-located and was easy for us to see from the outside.

Well, we were there for the second time last week and weren't satisfied. I ordered a schnitzel. Two mini schnitzels arrived that were half-raw and the fries half-raw. I sent them back. The portions were small. What's wrong with you? Very disappointing. The food wasn't worth the price.

We ordered a burger and a salad! The burger came with cold/undercooked fries! After we finished the burger, the salad arrived, and the bacon was cold and the skewers were tough.

Four of us went there for dinner (October 3, 2025), and it was the worst meal we've ever had... Haxen (ham hock), schnitzel, roast pork, and a salad plate. Maybe the chef just wasn't in the mood...we don't know!

I simply couldn't find anything in the area that came close to this place. The sweet potato fries were my personal highlight. The service is also particularly noteworthy. Our server was fun, welcoming, and extremely competent!

The food is okay, as always. Krok used to be a place where you'd go with friends to eat, drink, and chill. But what's suddenly happening in 2025? 14-18 euros for a single (average) burger??? What's suddenly going on with the prices? We'll only come here rarely anymore. There are cheaper places with the same or better quality, but as long as people are willing to pay, the owner is "happy" 😉

I would describe the price-performance ratio for vegetarians and vegans as unfair, as is the selection. The taste is mostly OK.

We were on a trip and ended up there by chance. But I was pleasantly surprised. The table staff were friendly and the service was excellent. There were already a lot of people there, and I thought we'd have to wait a long time for the food, but it came very quickly after ordering. And the food was delicious. We couldn't find anything good nearby, but then we stumbled upon this place. A huge variety of dishes, and everything was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend it. The sweet potato fries were, without a doubt, the best I've ever eaten. The vegan Sunny Burger was a great combination for a vegan burger, plus a great sauce! Wonderful place. 5/5.

So where do I begin... We visited the crocodile today, and I want to thank the girls so much. You were fantastic. Briefly, the story: We were at your place for dinner, and our son fell and had a laceration. They immediately checked on us and called an ambulance. You looked after us so lovingly and looked after our child. Many thanks to the blonde lady who spoke so many kind words to our son. You are a wonderful person. I can't thank you enough for what you did in that moment. THANK YOU!

Overall, highly recommended, but only if the staff treat each other better. It's okay if you're having a bad day, but in this area, guests shouldn't notice that they're there to enjoy themselves. Many thanks to Aylin (if we remember her name correctly) for making our morning even more enjoyable.

Very good food, friendly, attentive service, and our dog was immediately given a bowl of water. We come here often, everything is recommended, I personally like the bowls best.

We spontaneously went to eat at Krok Mössingen because we were nearby. Ambiance is very good with plenty of space to sit. Service was very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were ready very quickly without much waiting. The Försterpfännle with fries and hunter's sauce was very good, recommended! Schnitzel with fries was also good. We were only a little disappointed with the pan gyro because the meat was fried too crispy and therefore a little dry! Unfortunately some of the meat remained and went back. All in all, we were satisfied and would love to come back for dinner.

Discovered on the way home from Hohenzollern Castle. Absolutely perfect! Huge portion, and even the starter salad would have been enough, as it was so big.

You can go there if you feel like having a cozy evening with friends or want to play a game of billiards. Service can be improved, but okay. I haven't eaten there for a long time, so I can't rate it.

To all Bruger lovers. Can't recommend the frozen patty with sandy dry bread. Kp whether it was just me that was shit that day or whether that's really common for you. But for the price that is charged, the goods you get are absolutely not justified!

I celebrated my birthday there with brunch with a large group. The planning was done via email and the answers were always prompt. The tables today were so beautifully set, everything was really well prepared. The entire service was super attentive and friendly. That was really great, I can only recommend it to everyone. The prices here are really steep. Paying over €40 for two takeaway meals is extreme. You would expect at least top quality - but unfortunately it was only average. I definitely expected more for the money. Price-performance simply doesn't fit here.

To be honest, I was very disappointed with my meal. Salmon steak with tomato and rocket salad. The small bowl with the few leaves should be the salad. Dressing, well. For me it was water with a little vinegar in it. Salmon was completely dry. For over 20 euros I find this very cheeky. I would have imagined a decent salad plate and then the salmon on top. Otherwise service top. You were asked again and again if you wanted anything else and everything was ok.

Ate there twice with several people. Fries, Hamburg ok but no power now. Salads and spaetzle were really bad. The spaetzle in particular was completely overcooked! No one in a group of 8 could eat them.

Very large restaurant with American German classics from burgers to schnitzel. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The prices are not cheap but still OK.

Today we ordered 4x schnitzel with fries, unfortunately we have to say that the meat was absolutely not cooked through and there was more fat than meat. The taste is far from that of a schnitzel and for that, including salad, I paid around €82. The worst thing about the whole thing was that there was hair in the salad with yogurt sauce. After several years of trying to eat there, this was definitely the last time.

After many years I was in Mössingen again yesterday. I have to say, I was very excited. Great atmosphere, employees were really on the ball and kept asking if everything was okay. Cocktails and also the food are great to recommend. Late in the evening it was really crowded but still pleasant and the employees didn't lose sight of anyone. Happy to come back!

Over the past 20 years, the Krok has changed a lot visually, mostly in a positive way. Unfortunately, the prices only go up and the portion sizes go down. The staff consists mainly of "young men" who unfortunately have neither the competence nor the professionalism of the previous, long-standing waitresses. Everything is changing, of course. But it also loses a lot of its charm and attractiveness. I don't think it's worth visiting anymore.

We've been there several times for lunch. The food and selection is good. There are enough seats. During the last visit there were probably two probation workers there and both were very nice. The only thing we couldn't have drunk was the drinks they wanted to give us, because unfortunately the "boss" always ordered them to our table. In addition, she didn't really treat the "newbies" nicely in front of the customers, but she took the order and payment while chewing gum. That doesn't work at all.

Hmmm...mozzarella schnitzel with cranberries; delicious! Warm summer evening, subtle music, delicious food and a nice glass of wine... it couldn't be better!

The atmosphere is a bit kitschy, maybe some people will like it. Sometimes less is more. The food… they try hard. Falafel with remoulade dip? Kässpätzle with lots of cream sauce? I don't know... the meat, however, was ok in the Schwabenpfännle. The service was very nice and friendly. The two ladies tried really hard to make all the guests happy. Not really for my taste. I got to know the croc, as they say colloquially, in a different way many years ago. Maybe a new coat of paint would do some good ;-)

We had dinner today there at Krokodil Mössingen between 7.45 -9 pm. The waitress the one who took our orders was actually nice but the Waitress who served our food is far different. I asked her for an extra plate and then she answered me- “Wait I need to give the food first” but she said it in a bit rude voice and looking on us like she was angry and like we did something wrong to her! Idk if she treating other customers like that too? or is she treated us like that because we are Asians? Hopefully this circumstances won’t happen again and able to correct in the future. Be fair and treat your customers right. If you don’t like your job or if you’re tired from your work then why are you staying working like that??? Be at least stay professional when you doing your work next time!

Very nice restaurant, nicely decorated but the star is the food which is very good. There is a diverse selection of dishes and, above all, sensible and delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. One of our favorite restaurants in the region.

Maultaschen day! Super tasty in every version and the portions are probably intended for starving construction workers. And because I didn't want to have the cold salad on one plate with the mountain of hot Maultaschen, I also got a large plate full of salad "as punishment"... Hopefully I can visit my relatives in Mössingen again soon and then pay attention I'm waiting for it to be Maultaschen Wednesday again.

The food is very good, the service is friendly. Lots of seating, including comfortable tables for two. Open all day and have warm food. Daily offers. Unfortunately there are none on the weekend, so ordering a la carte here is very expensive. Therefore a star deduction.

Today we were able to be guests at the Krokodil once again. And what do I have to say? We were excited again. Attractive atmosphere. The food was very good and tasted very good too. The vanilla-chocolate pudding dessert was particularly impressive. He almost knocked our socks off. But the service once again left nothing to be desired Very attentive and friendly. It is very, very rare to experience such service at reasonable prices. In any case, we were very enthusiastic and unfortunately we don't go to Mössingen that often. If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we will plan to visit the crocodile again. The only downer: the Jägerschnitzel was not breaded. It could have been mentioned in the menu. But we are sure that if we mention this as a wish on our next visit, it will be fulfilled. So the crocodile can once again bask in a 5 star rating. Dear crocodile - don't let up, keep it up. You stand out from the crowd in a positive way.

Das Gesamtkonzept, die location und speisenauswahl haben uns sehr gefallen ! Der Service war durchwachsen , da wir von verschiedenen Mitarbeitern bedient wurden ! Die bestellten Speisen( Spaghetti, lachs div.fingefood )konnten allerdings nicht überzeugen und sind recht hoch angesetzt im Preis!
