Krokodil in Mössingen

Well... the service was lame, the food was lame and the beer wasn't the real deal either. It's not worth it!

I ordered 2 cocktails and if my girlfriend hadn't noticed, we would both have had the wrong drink because the waiter had classified it incorrectly.. but my God, that's not so bad.. otherwise great ;)

Good food, nice service. We would be happy to come back.

Hmmm...mozzarella schnitzel with cranberries; delicious! Warm summer evening, subtle music, delicious food and a nice glass of wine... it couldn't be better!

The atmosphere is a bit kitschy, maybe some people will like it. Sometimes less is more. The food… they try hard. Falafel with remoulade dip? Kässpätzle with lots of cream sauce? I don't know... the meat, however, was ok in the Schwabenpfännle. The service was very nice and friendly. The two ladies tried really hard to make all the guests happy. Not really for my taste. I got to know the croc, as they say colloquially, in a different way many years ago. Maybe a new coat of paint would do some good ;-)

Very, very friendly service and incredibly delicious food. Theme week "Bavarian Week" with lots of decorations for a southern German atmosphere.

We had dinner today there at Krokodil Mössingen between 7.45 -9 pm. The waitress the one who took our orders was actually nice but the Waitress who served our food is far different. I asked her for an extra plate and then she answered me- “Wait I need to give the food first” but she said it in a bit rude voice and looking on us like she was angry and like we did something wrong to her! Idk if she treating other customers like that too? or is she treated us like that because we are Asians? Hopefully this circumstances won’t happen again and able to correct in the future. Be fair and treat your customers right. If you don’t like your job or if you’re tired from your work then why are you staying working like that??? Be at least stay professional when you doing your work next time!

Very nice restaurant, nicely decorated but the star is the food which is very good. There is a diverse selection of dishes and, above all, sensible and delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. One of our favorite restaurants in the region.

Maultaschen day! Super tasty in every version and the portions are probably intended for starving construction workers. And because I didn't want to have the cold salad on one plate with the mountain of hot Maultaschen, I also got a large plate full of salad "as punishment"... Hopefully I can visit my relatives in Mössingen again soon and then pay attention I'm waiting for it to be Maultaschen Wednesday again.

The food is very good, the service is friendly. Lots of seating, including comfortable tables for two. Open all day and have warm food. Daily offers. Unfortunately there are none on the weekend, so ordering a la carte here is very expensive. Therefore a star deduction.

It's always nice when it's barrier-free and there's an appropriate toilet. Food was very good, nicely prepared and served by very nice staff.

Today we were able to be guests at the Krokodil once again. And what do I have to say? We were excited again. Attractive atmosphere. The food was very good and tasted very good too. The vanilla-chocolate pudding dessert was particularly impressive. He almost knocked our socks off. But the service once again left nothing to be desired Very attentive and friendly. It is very, very rare to experience such service at reasonable prices. In any case, we were very enthusiastic and unfortunately we don't go to Mössingen that often. If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we will plan to visit the crocodile again. The only downer: the Jägerschnitzel was not breaded. It could have been mentioned in the menu. But we are sure that if we mention this as a wish on our next visit, it will be fulfilled. So the crocodile can once again bask in a 5 star rating. Dear crocodile - don't let up, keep it up. You stand out from the crowd in a positive way.

Das Gesamtkonzept, die location und speisenauswahl haben uns sehr gefallen ! Der Service war durchwachsen , da wir von verschiedenen Mitarbeitern bedient wurden ! Die bestellten Speisen( Spaghetti, lachs div.fingefood )konnten allerdings nicht überzeugen und sind recht hoch angesetzt im Preis!

It took the service an hour for my food to arrive and it wasn't a Winner Schnitzel, a Winner Schnitzel had to be 0.5-1 cm not as good as the one I had But it was very tasty

Unfortunately it was the last time. Ordered roast medium rare and it was completely cooked through. Käsespätzle were tasteless. Way too expensive for the food.

Of the three crocodiles (Balingen, Rottenburg, Mössingen) it is now my favorite. Lots of choice when it comes to food, so far everything has been really good, the staff is really nice and I find the seating outside much more pleasant than in Balingen. Generally a little less squashed and really large parking lot. There is now a significantly expanded vegetarian menu, I think the Green Oat Burger is great. There is also a really large billiards area and currently a fancy Star Wars pinball machine 🙂

The right place to play billiards and eat beforehand... food price/performance is good. Portions large. Ambience a bit stagnant. But it doesn't reduce the fun factor. Darts and other games are also available. For a romantic dinner, look for something else...

A really nice restaurant. There's a great menu for breakfast and everything looks really tasty. And it tastes that way too. The coffee is also really good. There are enough seats and larger and smaller table groups. If it's warmer you can sit outside. There are also billiard tables.

You don't have to have it again

We ate well. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. It was a pleasant atmosphere, we liked it and will come back.

I think that unfortunately things have gotten a lot worse. The food just doesn't taste as fresh or delicious anymore and it all looks effortless, like it was microwaved food. I got spaetzle with mushroom cream sauce and without knowing anything about it beforehand, there were just bacon cubes in it. It's good that I'm not vegetarian, but it doesn't taste good either. Otherwise I can say that at least the service is nice, but in contrast to before, the kitchen has unfortunately deteriorated significantly.

The Krokodil 🐊 in Mössingen is highly recommended. The ambience, the service and the food invite you to take a special break, both indoors and outdoors. The employees are very attentive, a big thank you for that!

We have been to the Krokodil Mössingen several times. The food is good and the portions are quite large, but it is now very expensive compared to other restaurants.

We were looking for a restaurant that was barrier-free and had toilets on the dining room level, so my father, who used a walker and had just come out of the hospital, didn't have to walk up stairs. All criteria were met and the food was so delicious that no one had time to take pictures 🥳

So 3 stars only because the service was good, although they could have taken more care of us as customers after they said that the food tasted pretty bland. The food was really bad. We had the Röstis twice, which were simply tasteless and the prices were gigantic. The burger meat was dry. Unfortunately we won't eat here again.

The food was large portions and good, but the food didn't come as ordered, even though we asked twice, which we didn't like. Dessert was great.

The restaurant is very uncomfortable, but okay for a bistro. The burgers are served in a cheap sesame bun and seem relatively bland. The meat was also okay at best. The Cesar Salad was rather embarrassing for the money. Cheap iceberg lettuce, a little parmesan, a little chicken. In general everything seems as described as a bistro, but at restaurant prices. In general everything is relatively loveless. The best thing was the beer, but that came from somewhere else😂

Essen ist nicht schlecht, aber man hat das Gefühl, das Preis-Leistung etwas auseinander driftet. Ein fetter Pluspunkt im Gegensatz zu anderen Kroks der Region: es gibt keinen Raucherbereich mehr, dessen Tür ständig offen ist und man den Eindruck hat in einer Raucherkneipe zu essen. In der heutigen Zeit ein no go und eher ein Zeichen "ewig gestriger"...

Es war wie immer schön hier. Alle sehr freundlich , separater Rollstuhleingang, es hat für unser Gefühl etwas zu lang gedauert bevor wir was zu trinken bestellen könnten Aber die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut Wir kommen gerne wieder

Sehr teuer Ein halber Liter Wasser 5 Euro Ein Weizenbier 5 Euro Schnitzel mit Pommes ohne Salat 20 Euro Ein Burger ab ca 14 Euro ohne Beilage Das heißt unter 25 Euro pro Person ist fast nichts zu machen Da muß man sich schon vorher überlegen ob man mit 2 Person noch zum Essen geht

Nettes Lokal mit aufmerksamen und freundlichem Service. Leider kam der Rostbraten zwei Mal viel zu blutig. Dass sollte nicht passieren wenn man medium well bestellt.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, netter Service und Essen gut. Preislich noch in Ordnung.

Das Lokal habe ich zum ersten Mal besucht. War ganz ok. Nicht unbedingt mein Geschmack, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes aber auch nicht schlecht. Das Essen war gut. Die Portionen waren überschaubar und lauwarm. Der Service war gut. Mein Steak war nicht ganz durch und musste nochmal zurück. Die Kellnerin hatte Verständnis dafür und hat mir zum Schluss als Entschuldigung mein Getränk erlassen. Das war sehr nett!

Lecker Essen zu bezahlbaren Preisen. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben dort eine Treffen mit um die 60 Leute gehabt. Essen waren große Portionen. Der Service war spitze und es war ein netter Abend in der Lokation

Rundum alles top . Bedienung, das Essen ( echt lecker ), jederzeit offen für extra Wünsche. Und das wichtigste in unserer heutigen Zeit. Man kann für wenig Geld gut essen. Jederzeit gern .

Ich war schon immer ein Fan von Kroko. Es ist weder zu lässig noch zu elegant, weder schreiende Kinder oder vollgelaufene Erwachsene. Bedienung sehr süß und Reservierung hat supii geklappt. Das essen auch sehr toll. Es ist leicht zu finden und in der Nähe der B27 da muss man nicht in Stadt reinfahren und genug Parkplätze. Mit meinem Date wurde Es nichts aber der Ort war TOP.

Bis jetzt waren ich und meine Familie sehr zufrieden, das Essen war auch immer sehr gut. Wir waren auch Stammkunden im Lokal in Mössingen. Aber diesen Sonntag wurden wir recht Enttäuscht und werden auch nicht mehr kommen. Ich hatte für meinen 60sten Geburtstag am Sonntag unseren Stammplatz Reservieren lassen, nicht telefonisch, sogar persönlich. Als wir aber dann Rechtzeitig angekommen sind, war unser Platz besetzt und wir wurden mit den Worten das tut mir jetzt aber leid, abgespeist. ehr enttäuschend. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Die Wraps sind mega!

Leckeres Essen Super nettes Servicepersonal.

Essen war wie immer sehr Lecker . Das Besteck haben wir erst bekommen als das Essen schon da war . War nicht sehr viel los.

Essen war gut, Portionen gut. Service wirken wie Schlaftabletten,da ist das Krokk Balingen um schnelligkeit,und Freundlichkeit um einiges besser.

Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, die Auswahl ist groß. Auch die Cocktails schmecken sehr. Man kann dort auch Billard und Dart spielen. Das Krokodil in Mössingen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Karte war sehr ausführlich. Gerichte waren aber auch umso kreativ und gut umgesetzt. Preis war vglw. sehr billig.

Das Krokodil ist der Yuppie-Treffpunkt schlechthin, in Mössingen. Es gibt zwei Außenbereiche, wo kräftig geraucht werden darf, und logischerweise auch Innenbereiche, zum einen mit Sitzplätzen und zum anderen eine Billardzone (da gibt es auch einen Raucherkabuff und eine Fummelecke). Es gibt eine große Bürgerauswahl, auch das andere Essen ist genießbar. Früher war hier ein Pfannkuch drinnen.

It was a pleasant surprise for me, as I didn't know this place. The interior is beautiful, clean and welcoming. The girls who work in this place are very kind, professional and very quick. I enjoyed a hamburger, which was definitely excellent. A great choice!

Raucherabteil von innen erreichbar, deshalb gelangt Qualm in die Nichtraucherzone. Keine unkontaminierten glutenfreie Speisen. Kinderfreundlich, unkompliziert, zum Entspannen, wenn man möchte.

Wir haben auf Empfehlung von Freunden mit denen zusammen hier essen abgeholt. Vorab: Das Essen war lecker. Leider sind hier aber einige Dinge beim Service schief gelaufen: 1. Ich habe vorbestellt, worauf mir gesagt wurde, ich könne das Essen in 30 min abholen. Im Restaurant angekommen, war mein Essen nicht fertig und ich musste noch 20min warten. Ist blöd, aber passiert. 2. Beim Rausgehen viel mir auf, das ein Burger vergessen wurde, also wieder rein. 3. Als ich schon im Auto saß kam ein Mitarbeiter hintergerannt: Die Soßen wurden auch vergessen. 4. Zuhause angekommen, fällt uns auf, dass zwei von den 4 Burgern falsch sind. Alle Soßen waren falsch (auf den Kassenbon war aber alles korrekt aufgeführt). 5. Zwei der Soßen wurden uns leider extra berechnet, obwohl diese im Menü inkludiert waren. Jeder Punkt für sich wäre nicht schlimm gewesen, hier ist aber leider Zuviel falsch gelaufen, weshalb wir hier nicht mehr Essen gehen werden.

Wochentags bis 17 Uhr eine 》kleine 《 Speisekarte - dafür geht es recht schnell. Portionen sind ausreichend und schmackhaft - frisch zubereitet. Preise sind in Ordnung !

Wir waren in Mössingen, Es ist schön gemütlich, mit Billard Tischen zum abhängen und eine leckere, mit schwäbischen Gerichten, gefüllte Karte.

The room is so big that we could choose: a quiet corner or places near the snoker and pool tables and the children's in-door play area. We tasted lovely homemade Maultaschen (swabian food) vegan as well as clasical. Great service, quick and friendly, nice with children playing.
