Delicious pepper schnitzel and my wife's salad with fried potatoes and fried eggs was also really good.

Waited 45 minutes for food, ordered bollo twice for 15€ each, inedible, minced meat made quick, tasted completely disgusting, after complaining we were told the boss knew, we had to pay the full amount, never again, thumbs down

Very tasty food with very nice service. The restaurant is very child-friendly, there are several children's meals to choose from and, even without asking, something to do as an activity

The food was really good and the staff was super friendly but it was a bit expensive and it was incredibly warm in the restaurant. Due to the weather we couldn't sit outside. But this is complaining at a very high level. Gladly again.

Wow! Now that was delicious! Varied menu, fair prices, super nice staff. We are blown away! Unfortunately it was discovered too late, on the last day of the holiday.

Went to the Precious with four adults and three children (4, 4, 1). There are buckets of colored pencils on the tables and there are coloring children's menus - great! The waitresses were consistently friendly and attentive and, last but not least, the food was delicious! We had cheeseburgers twice (with apparently homemade burger buns), once rump steak with asparagus, homemade hollandaise sauce and potatoes and once asparagus, potatoes with raw ham. The children were happy with chips and fish fingers. Unfortunately, on our next visit, again very spontaneous, everything was full. Reservations are therefore recommended! We'll be back!

Very very tasty food. Very very nice staff. There you have a wonderful view of the Bostalsee. In summer you can also sit on the terrace.

We come here every now and then, the view over the lake is beautiful. The burgers and fries we prefer are very tasty. The prices are normally high for a restaurant.

If you want to enjoy a great view with good food, this is the right place for you. The view of the lake is simply wonderful and the food is fresh and delicious. In addition, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. We were definitely not here for the last time.

Extensive menu, friendly service and extremely delicious food. You have a good view of the lake, just a little dampening through appropriate measures wouldn't hurt and would make the room a little quieter. If we come this way again, we'll definitely stop by again!

Nice little restaurant with friendly and fast service and a beautiful location right on Lake Bostal, including a terrace. The drink selection is good and the drinks are served beautifully presented. Likewise the food, although unfortunately I can only recommend the wild burger to a limited extent. There is a water playground nearby. I can recommend the Kostbar for families who are taking a trip to the lake. The restaurant with its great view of the lake is also great for a cozy drink at lunch or evening.

Food was good, but at 9:30 p.m. the doors were opened to send guests home.

We were there for lunch at lunchtime. The portions are large so you should be hungry before and after the main course. The ambience was rather simple for my taste. In my opinion, Christmas decorations in mid-November don't have to happen. In the middle area the ceiling is suspended and you can see up to the sandwich panels. I thought drinks were a bit overpriced, but the food was okay. You don't have to understand why dogs are allowed in there during the day and no longer after 6 p.m. as indicated by a sign. Otherwise everything is fine

Conclusion: incredibly delicious food 🫶👌 at reasonable prices, top service 👍👍👍, something for our little daughter to color in ☺️❤️ - of course we'll be back tomorrow at the end of our short vacation ☺️

I was very dissatisfied and ordered a table there by phone on October 2nd at 4 p.m. for three people at twelve o'clock today and when we got there we weren't even on the reservation list. How does something like that work???? And on my birthday I was really disappointed and instead of finding a solution we were put in a place where we sat in the room

I've been to Kostbar am See GmbH in Bosen am Bostalsee several times and I've always enjoyed it. Food and drinks were always okay and at market prices. The view from the terrace there is also wonderful, especially when the weather is right. As soon as the next season starts again, I'll definitely be there again and will stop there again. 😉

Delicious food in a beautiful ambience with a view of the lake

As we were sitting at the table, our older companion suddenly wasn't feeling well anymore. We had to leave the restaurant. The service was interested, wanted to help and showed understanding. Great reaction!

The food is very plentiful and tastes wonderful. The service is friendly and accommodating and if you have any allergies, please ask the kitchen and get advice. Clear recommendation. The ambience can still be improved and it is very loud. Nevertheless, we would like to come back.

I actually wanted to turn around because the entire restaurant was occupied by a party. Luckily I didn't. There was space on the terrace. Despite the announcement that it might take a little longer, a super tasty and inexpensive meal was on the table pretty quickly. Great organization! Traditional German cuisine, as well as many variations of burgers, were offered. Plus friendly and fit staff. You can enjoy a great view of the Bostalsee. The “Kostbar” is worth a real recommendation!

As a true Saarlander, I of course ordered the Saar bow. Very good, a bit much. I was immediately offered to pack up the rest. Very nice attentive service. Price absolutely reasonable. This was certainly not my last visit.

Good food for a good price. We had not made a reservation and it was quite busy. But the weather was good, so we sat outside. We were helped quickly and opted for a tasty hamburger. The drinks and food were served quickly and we had a delicious meal. It was a large portion for a good price. Definitely recommended!! Walked from CenterParcs and it is a bit of a walk, but you are there in 40 minutes. Walking back in the dark is also fine. There is plenty of lighting along the walking paths.

The food was very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. You can have a good meal there. If the weather had been nicer it would have been even more idyllic.

We went in positive and were unfortunately a bit disappointed. The schnitzel with cream sauce tasted like ready-made products. Side salad was extra and unfortunately nothing special for four euros.. The ambience is nice. Good for a drink after a walk, but unfortunately not for dinner again…

We were also guests in this beautifully located restaurant during our short vacation at Bostalsee. The view from the terrace on the lake is really beautiful and that alone is worth a visit. We are very pleased that there is now a vegan burger on the menu. We'd love to come back.

I didn't like the pulled pork burger at all, it was too sour. We also had fried potatoes with egg and salad, which was good, the view was great if you weren't sitting in the corner

I ordered a champion cream sauce with the cordon bleu, which was tomato ketchup with mushrooms. The side salad was included at the last meal, but now has to be ordered and paid for separately. The same with the pepper cream schnitzel, tomato ketchup with peppercorns. I've eaten there several times and it's always been very good. This time inedible! Maybe a new chef?

Super great! The service was great, all special requests were fulfilled, and the children were also taken care of. The food isn't cheap, but it's certainly worth the price. All ingredients fresh and of high quality. Food also came quickly, which is worth its weight in gold, especially with whining, hungry children. The view over the lake is great! I can only recommend it to everyone!

We had a hamburger and Mushroom Soup. The burger was on the low salt side, great if u are watching ur salt intake and the soup was on the high salt side.. was salty so I dip the fries into the soup to balance the flavor. My 2 puppies could sit with us on the exterior over looking the sea.

We were here spontaneously on Friday evening and got a table on the terrace. From here you have a great view of Lake Bostal, we had a great evening, the service was fast, friendly staff and the food was very tasty!

Food was very good On the phone they didn't want to give us a table for 10 people. We went there anyway and occupied a large table that had become available. The service was hectic and tried to clear away several times even though people were still eating. But as already said, the food itself was great

Just always beautiful. The view of the lake in the evening, the friendly service and the consistent quality. And the best thing: (almost) all dishes are available as a senior portion with a €2 discount. 😀

Particularly noteworthy is the staff. Highly motivated, not pushy and there are a lot of people there. This eliminates the long wait when you want to order something. The drinks also arrived very quickly. Everything was well organized. The food was fresh and delicious. Despite the full house, everything is fine here. That's how it should be. Keep it up 👍

I have eaten the Chef Burger very often in the beautiful restaurant with a lake view and it really is a real taste experience. The meat is great, the salad and bread are very tasty. The fries are very crispy and the herb dip is delicious. I've also often picked up the Chef Burger and it's just as good as in the restaurant and the fries are crispy too. The waiters are always friendly and accommodating. The toilets and the entire restaurant are very well maintained and clean. Highly recommended.

We were there at the weekend with our 3 children (4,5,6 years old), super child-friendly, the first thing that came to the table were pens and coloring cards! The kids' food was served on Mickey Mouse plates and there was also children's cutlery! The food for us was also super delicious and more than enough! The seat outside, with a view of the sun setting over the lake, rounded everything off 😎 The service was very attentive and friendly! Thank you dear Kostbar team, we will be back!

Arancini were tasty, burgers were dry (sauce would have helped a bit), service was nice and quick. Nice view. But the employee made a mistake in the bill at the end (charged 10 euros too much) which unfortunately only became apparent at home.

Very courteous and lovely staff. Children receive special attention with painting opportunities and something sweet at the end. Delicious food and drinks. Great location. Burgers, salad, schnitzel, chanterelles, also vegan (burgers and curry). Toilets are clean.

The food is good and the price is okay. The portions are decent and were a bit too big for me and my wife (takeaway was offered). The staff is super friendly and the waiting times for food and drinks are very short, even though the store was packed to the rafters! Respect. The view outside is awesome. Staying in the restaurant feels like a vacation.

The restaurant is located directly above the lake with a very nice view. The food was okay, you just pay for the view. The kiosk underneath is very well priced and is even sufficient for a small snack.
