Very tasty food. Public viewing at relevant football games and recently: Open Stage every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month (unless it clashes with football). The sound is very good! Musicians are welcome! Listeners too :) Very nice atmosphere!

The Kostbar is a good mix of bar and restaurant. The food is good, mostly at fair prices. I've never had anything there that I didn't like. I also really like the atmosphere. If you like football, this is a great place to go. The owner is also very friendly. I highly recommend it.

To be honest, I haven't really figured out the opening hours yet, and I've been wondering for a while how this place actually survives!?! The prices are okay, but you shouldn't expect a taste sensation from the food here, and the ambiance is unfortunately not great either, as the place is usually very quiet!

The restaurant has a wide menu, so you'll have to think about what to order. From Indian to burgers to schnitzel, everything's there, and so far, everything's been delicious. The owner is very nice, and we enjoy coming here.

Large portions, fair prices, and a friendly, football-savvy host. Top!

Netter Wirt, der etwas von Fußball versteht. Das Essen kommt immer schnell und es gibt große Portionen zu sehr fairen Preisen. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Open until very late, and you still get warm and incredibly delicious food! Totally recommend! Great location, very multifaceted menu (from indian to italian food yet they get all of it right) and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We all ordered very different foods, from Indian to Italian cuisine, and we happily finished all of them. Friendly staff, good location, and a very versatile menu! Can definitely recommend visiting, next time you're close. Protip: Their kitchen is open until quite late, and they serve warm food until midnight. If you're ever out, and you're hungry, this is the place to go.

Klein aber fein, netter Wirt, leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Fußball sollte man mögen oder die Zeiten vermeiden, zu denen wichtige Spiele gesendet werden.

Unaufgeregt, lässige Bar. Köstliches indisches Essen und saftige Burger. Der Wirt kocht selbst. Fußball, wenns was besonderes gibt. Lustiges Stammpublikum, dass auch mal lautstark mitdiskutiert. Politik, Fußball, egal. Herzlicher, niveauvoller Wirt. Hier kann Frau auch gut allein hin. Ein Einzelstück in München.

Eiskaltes Bier, hervorragender Service. Gutes Essen und feine Snacks, was will man mehr!

Penne Kostbar and the curry are incredible. But everything on the menu is fantastic. Ali is awesome.

Tolle Location zum Fussball Schauen oder auch sonst. Die Drinks sind gut und preiswert und Alis Kochkünste sind einfach unübertroffen!

Das Kostbar ist ein echtes Phänomen! Man bekommt dort einen totalen crossover von indisch bis deutsch und alles schmeckt. Der Dal mit einer schönen breiigen Konsistenz und Schärfe. Die Curries haben viel Gemüse, das auch noch Biss hat. Das Schnitzel ist dünn geschnitten und hat eine fluffige Panade und die Pommes sind rösch. Die Currywurst ist auch ok. Das Ambiente und die Einrichtung könnte sicherlich verbessert werden, ist aber ok. Zudem gibts Sky und der Wirt versteht was von Fussball! Es ist also einiges geboten im Kostbar.

Ein echter kleiner Geheimtipp zum Essen in der Barer Str.! Große und leckere Portionen von außergewöhnlichen Gerichten. Das Ambiente ist vielleicht nicht einladend, aber es schmeckt und der Service wird groß geschrieben während die Preise nicht so groß sind.

Mittagstisch ist hier auch zu empfehlen!

Mehr muss ich gar nicht schreiben. Zwischen der letzten Bewertung und dieser hat sich an der leckeren Speisekarte für mich wenig verändert: Der Chef ist freundlich und flott, die Gerichte schmecken superlecker, die Preise stimmen, die Portionen sind auch für hungrige Mäuler kaum zu schaffen. Soll heißen: wir waren g´stopft voll! Kommen jederzeit sehr gerne wieder umd empfehlen die KOSTBAR auch allen anderen, die in der Gegend ein cooles Restaurant suchen.

Ein behagliches freundliches gemütliches externes Wohnzimmer. Gute indische Kartoffelcurries und gute frische Salate, prima karamellisierter Kaiserschmarren und frische Fruchtsäfte. Shawkat ist ein wirklich menschenfreundlicher Gastgeber. Große Zuschauerrunden mit mehreren Fernsehern bei großen Fußballmatches; wechselnde Gemäldeausstellungen.

Wir haben dieses Lokal durch Zufall entdeckt und waren sehr überrascht. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Bestellte Essen war schnell da und hat super geschmeckt. Die Cocktails waren auch prima. Zum Abschluß haben wir noch einen Schnaps aufs Haus bekommen :) Wir gehen aufjedefall wieder hin und die Preise waren für Münchner Verhältnisse schon günstig.
