Bester laden in ganz essen wenn nicht ganz NRW oder Deutschlandland. Handgemachtes Gyros handgemachte Schnitzel und viele Geheimtipps auf der Karte zb ein UFO (Burgerpetty + Reibeplättchen) oder einen Clubburger oder riesige Schnitzel. Preislich echt human. Sehr preisstabiel seit jahren

Klassisches Ambiente, man fühlt sich dort wohl. Hatte einen Taxi Teller, absolut Top und sehr lecker. Ich mag es, wenn das Gyros nicht so dick geschnitten wird, einfach perfekt dünn geschnitten. Leckere Pommes und das Tzatziki ist Bombe. Leckere Wurst und leckere Currysauce, haben einen neuen Stammgast

Eine Frau die zwei Männer im Griff hat😜. Sehr nette Inhaber und immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht und einen Scherz auf den Lippen. Das Essen ist natürlich klasse, waren des Öfteren da und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Heute haben wir zum ersten Mal Essen vorbestellt und wie versprochen konnten wir es innerhalb einer viertel Stunde abholen. Also ein sehr guter Imbiss mit schöner Sitzgelegenheit. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Gyros mit Zaziki bestellt, als ich mich setzte wurde ich Zeuge einer lautstarken Schreierei zwischen der Inhaberin oben im Sitzbereich und ihrem Mann hinter dem Tresen. Das ging Minutenlang so. Eigentlich hätte man Cola und Popcorn reichen sollen . ein unglaublich dichtes, düsteres Klima im Raum! Klasse Kino ! Zaziki war gut abgeschmeckt, Gyros wurde mit einer viel zu großen Menge staubtrockenem Oregano aus der Dose bestreut. Das schmeckte überhaupt nicht, ich hatte ein krümmeliges trockenes etwas im Mund, unangenehm ! ich musste das trockene Gewürz vom Fleisch abklopfen. Als ich das reklamierte, bekam ich ein : DAS MACHEN WIR SEIT 30 JAHREN SO ! Mein Fazit: 30 Jahre wohl darauf verzichtet, das Oregano fachmännisch mit Olivenöl, Knoblauch und weiteren Gewürzen zu einer Marinade zu verarbeiten! Fachkräftemangel überall !

Schöner moderner sauberer Imbiss mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Viel Betrieb, trotzdem gute professionelle Bedienung. Leider viele fertige Ware aus dem Eimer, keine Salate werden dort selbst gemacht. Schade, Preise sind moderat. Ich war nach Monaten wieder dort, leider war ich sehr das sehr enttäuschend. Labrige Pommes, kaum gewürzt, die Bratwurst Lage schon lange auf dem Rost und schmeckte wirklich schrecklich. Was ist bloß passiert? Bitte denkt nochmals nach ob ihr das nicht besser machen könnt, es wäre wirklich schön 😔🥴 die Preise sind nach oben gerutscht, leider nicht die Qualität

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich wirklich überzeugend. Der Service war freundlich und die Wartezeit völlig in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein super Grill mit angenehmer Atmosphäre – kommen gerne wieder.

War zum ersten Mal dort und positiv überrascht. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen ordentlich und alles wurde schnell serviert. Freundliches Personal und unkomplizierte Atmosphäre. Gute Adresse, wenn man in Essen etwas Schnelles und Gutes essen möchte.

Gibt keinen besseren in ganz Essen. Google meint ich soll noch ändere waren den neusten Stand bringen, aber es gibt wirklich keinen besseren. Ist und bleibt Nummer 1 und das seit Jahren in GANZ Essen!!!!!

Typische Ruhrpott Pommesbude, seit meiner Kindheit komme ich sehr gerne her. Pommern Currywurst sind legendär, das Gyros wird hier noch von Hand nach altem griechischen Rezept zubereitet. Ein Familienbetrieb der mehr als 5 Sterne verdient

Man wird freundlich mit einem lächeln empfangen. Die Auswahl ist riesig. Was ich besonders hervorheben möchte, ist, das auf meine Allergien Rücksicht genommen wird! Die Pommes sind so wie sie sind, einfach lecker. Das Fleisch saftig und zart. Ich komm immer wieder gerne essen.

Stammgäste sind unglaublich laut, während sie ihr Bier trinken. Jeder soll sein Spaß haben aber man sollte auch Rücksicht auf andere nehmen. Spricht man es an, wird man noch angefeindet. Nie wieder in diesem Laden

The food was unfortunately awful... 70% of the fries were dry, the mayonnaise tasted like fish, and the burger was inedible! The buns were hard and the meat was definitely too old! It was very tough and bulged. The service was quite friendly until the employees started yelling at each other. For me, it was definitely my last time there.

I've been eating there since my school days in the 80s. A family business with heart and soul. I was there again just yesterday, and the homemade cevapcici and gyros were absolutely amazing, as always. I hope to be able to eat there for a long time to come. You guys are the best. Thank you.

The Kosmos Grill in Essen-Schonnebeck is a cult favorite – not least because of its legendary, homemade cevapcici. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and fresh from the grill – that's how they taste only here. Served with crispy fries, fresh salad, and homemade tzatziki, the perfect accompaniment. The portions are generous, the quality consistently top-notch, and the service warm and prompt. Once you've been here, you'll understand why so many keep coming back. Absolutely recommended!

The food was so-so. I had chevapchichi there, and something that looked like a charred rag was stuck to the grilled meat... The place stinks of old grease and smoke from the grill, and unfortunately, my clothes do too after the visit. Be careful! I suspect fraud here! Drinks are served exclusively in uncalibrated glasses, so the customer doesn't know how much they're getting and what they're paying for. Calibrated glasses are mandatory in restaurants!

Since we moved to Lower Saxony, we haven't been here for a long time. We haven't been to Kosmos Grill for 10 years. We really missed it. When we visited Essen, we were immediately drawn there. Everyone was still there, healthy and happy. The food was as sensational as ever. Now we miss it even more. A branch wouldn't be a bad idea. 😂🥰🥰

One star is still too many!... This place is an absolute nightmare. From the waitresses who stagger around the place with a high blood alcohol level of 0.25, who practically tip the drinks over you instead of placing them on the table, to the spaghetti Bolognese that's like old, ice-cold, hard pasta from the microwave. It's no wonder this place was shut down by the health department.

Delicious as always! Onion sausage with spicy shashlik sauce and fries. MY absolute MUST. Just like it was 40 years ago—only with a new generation.

Super Frittenbude mit viel Extra. Die Innenausstattung ist sehr ansehnlich und man hat ein tolles Ambiente. Das Essen ist sehr Lecker, für jeden ist etwas da, zugleich sind die Preise auch bezahlbar, sodass man gerne mal etwas mehr bestellt.

Today we bought food for 4 people, including half a chicken. For a whopping €7.50, if it had been fresh the price wouldn't have bothered me, but again I got an old fluttering man that you could see from afar how old it was. I'm more than pissed because I don't pay with counterfeit money! Finally fed up!!!!!!!

Now I have to let go of my frustration :: We have been good customers at kosmos for many, many years. and have already forgiven a lot of things :: ordered burnt or raw liver, old chicken, raw cevapcici, cold rice, gratinated turkey schnitzel, with hollandaise sauce, what came ??? Pork schnitzel with red sauce, but again today, raw cevapcici !!!!! I don't like raw meat!!! and that's why I'm now fed up and ordering somewhere else. Bye bye cosmos!!!!

I've been eating fries and currywurst here since I was a child. Very sweet and quick. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed, so we always take them with us. But otherwise great. 😊

The last time I was there was 20 years ago. The quality and friendly service have not changed. Great Greek snack with a good price/performance ratio. Recommended!!

Paid 9.50 euros for a currywurst fries with tzatziki. Fries, a small handful. The sausage was ordered, lightly seasoned, and I got a super spicy currywurst. Since we had taken the food with us, I couldn't bring it back due to time constraints. Don't know what was going on, otherwise I was always happy

What's going on with you today: gyros cold, liver like the sole of a shoe, the skewer inedible and cevapcici unnaturally spicy and raw from the inside. My trash can was happy.

Unfortunately the pizza had really bad toppings or only the middle and the meat had a lot of fat.

I really enjoy ordering here. The gyro plate is very tasty, but especially the pizza tastes really good. The boss is super nice and very funny, always up for a joke. It's also great to sit down and the atmosphere is very cozy. The prices are usually not cheap but not overpriced either. I think the grill is really great, keep it up.

We moved to Stoppenberg from Steele and are now looking for "good Greeks"... whether it's a snack bar or a restaurant. Great service... nice service... and an ambience, which is brilliant for a snack bar. Due to the heat we were only able to eat something “small” today. Gyros, onions and also the fries were really OK. We will also test the “rest” of this huge selection... We are already looking forward to the next visit...

Ambiance has a rustic feel. The innkeeper is very friendly and always up for a joke, but sometimes a little confused. Prices are ok. Unfortunately, pepper sauce is too vinegar-heavy.

We took Gyros Pita with us. Meat was cold and hard, for which the price was unreasonable. Currywurst, slightly burnt, had probably been on the grill for a while. Are used to something better.

There is no Greek chip shop in all of Essen that is as delicious!!!!! NO!!!!! It's actually sad, but I'm writing this as a Greek! It's far from us but if I want to eat real Greek food then it has to be there. I think the prices are justified given the impeccable quality. Otherwise you can go to McDonalds and fill your stomach with the coupons, and I don't care what it looks like there (if I'm hungry) as long as it's clean and that's it! So keep it up!

Wir haben für 10 Personen eine Partiplatte bestellt. Reichlich Fleisch , Salat und Beilagen. Sehr schmackhaft. Muss man weiter empfehlen.

Das Essen war okay aber für die Preise dort einfach nicht lecker genug. Die Bude ist außerdem sehr schräg und davon wurde mir schwindlig, es sieht außerdem aus als wurde vor 30 Jahren das letzte mal renoviert. Fazit: für einmal okay, muss ich aber nicht wieder hin.

Ich habe nur die typische Currywurst mit Pommes und Mayo gegessen. Aber was ich gegessen habe, war vom Geschmack her der Hammer. Auch die Bedienung muss ich erwähnen, ich weiß nicht ob es der Chef war, aber er war sehr freundlich und hatte auch ein paar Scherze dabei. Da ich aus Rotthausen komme und wir hier leider keinen vergleichbaren Imbiss haben, Wird das nun unser Lieblingsimbiss.

Meine Güte was für eine üble Fleischqualität. Alles mit Fett und Sehnen durchzogen. Getränke auch vergessen zu bringen. Was andere Restaurants bei der Belieferung ablehnen, wird hier offenbar gern verarbeitet.

Bedienung richtig unfreundlich weil ich eine Kleinigkeit umbestellt habe und der Chef hatte mich so angesehen als ob er gleich über der Theke springen wollte.Zum Essen kann ich sagen der Gyros war hart und zäh aber die Currywurst war gut die Pommes wiederum gar nicht gut .Sorry für die Bewertung aber das ist meine Meinung und Erfahrung .Ich versuche immer nett und freundlich zu sein aber da ist es mir wirklich schwer gefallen.Einmal und nie wieder

Das Gyros war sehr lecker und die Portion sehr gut. Die Preise sind...... speziell, 7,50€ für Gyros sind top, 2€ für eine Portion Pommes sind auch gut, aber Ketchup, Mayo, etc. für je 1€ find ich persönlich etwas happig.

Ich habe 4 Portionen Pommes und 2 x Cola für 17,80€ bestellt und was ich bekommen habe war ein Witz! Die Cola wurde aus Plastikflaschen in kleinen 0,2 l Gläser geschüttet und die Pommes wurden auf kleine. Kuchentellern serviert. Satt ist hier niemand geworden. Leider nur einen Stern.

Bester Imbiss in Essen. Gyros Pita ein Traum. Unfassbar gute Bolognese. Kann dort über nichts meckern. Unfassbar freundliche Mitarbeiter. Gestern 18.06. mal wieder da gewesen und es ist genau so gut oder sogar noch besser als letztes Mal. Der Chef hinterm Tresen macht einen super Job und ist dazu noch freundlich, witzig und kinderlieb. Wenn wir in der Gegend sind werden wir jederzeit wieder dort essen gehen.

Χειροποίητος ποιοτικός χοιρινός γύρος, από τους καλύτερους που έχω δοκιμάσει Πολύ νόστιμο αλλά εξίσου δυναμικό και το τζατζίκι ( δυστυχώς δεν μας αποκαλύφθηκε η συνταγή και θα αναγκαστούμε να καταφύγουμε στο γνωστό chef Kamtsique). Ικανοποιητικό το σαλόνι του μαγαζιού όπου απολαμβάνεις το εξαιρετικό φαγητό και τα μπυρόνια χωρίς να χρειάζεται αμέσως μετά να μπεις ολόκληρος στο πλυντήριο... Συγχαρητήρια παιδιά !

Da ich hier seit ca. 25 Jahren einkehre bin ich wohl sehr zufrieden, allerdings auch befangen. Man sollte einen Besuch wagen und sich selber eine Meinung bilden.
