Korfu Grill in Bochum

A grill/snack bar in Bochum that is inviting both inside and outside. The menu offers more than you would expect. The food is deliciously prepared. The service was very friendly and accommodating, even when it came to staying with small children (high chair, children's portions, additional plates,...). It's a pleasure. 🤗

We were in Bochum for the musical Starlight Express and found this great Greek guy on the internet. The food was very tasty and so was the service. Absolutely recommended.

Very tasty food at absolutely fair prices. The meat here is always very tender and juicy and not as "fried" as in some other Greek restaurants.

Very good food, friendly and competent staff, I only found the place a bit overcrowded, but that's complaining at a high level. Therefore absolutely recommended!

We were there on August 21st, 2024 and I have to say the food was very good. As far as the service is concerned, I think it can still be improved. Drinks were only asked for after being asked. After dinner the plates were not cleared away. But as I said the food was very good.

The Korfu Grill is always worth a visit, the service is super friendly, the food is delicious and, important to us, not too greasy and over-spiced. For us, the Greek is among the top 3 in Bochum

Bochum's best Greek specialty restaurant! Unfortunately I have to downgrade today, August 17th, 2024. We bought 7 dishes to take away from home for a family celebration. The quality of the food was below average! The gyro plates were extremely spongy and greasy. Schnitzel with Metaxa sauce was the ultimate joke. We paid around €80 for this. You can get better food in every bar. That's it, Adios Corfu Grill.

The ambience is excellent because it is very atmospheric and very clean - even the toilets! The dishes are very tasty and original and very well crafted. The service is okay, but could be a little more attentive. A great restaurant that I can fully recommend.

Portions OK. Prices have risen significantly. Tastes really good. How you are served depends on which waiter you catch. You can be lucky or unlucky. When it comes to beer, you don't actually know which one it is... Update 07/24, portions very good, tasty, reasonably priced.

Didn't knock me off my feet The bread from the gyros pita was in the oven for far too long and was very hard. I couldn't sit inside. It was unpacked outside and so I could only eat outside on the busy street

I have lived near the shop for 30 years, and unfortunately I have to say that Corfu has declined a lot in recent years. Gyros nothing special and the other meat dishes (souvlaki, pork steak, schnitzel) were partly dry and partly tough, especially the schnitzels were absolutely bad. I know this far better from other Greeks! The atmosphere is still very nice and the shop is often very busy, especially on weekends (which surprises me a lot given the food, but that's probably due to a lack of alternatives in the area ^^) My advice to the owners would be to maybe think about improving the quality of their products, especially when it comes to the meat.

Extremely good price-performance ratio. Good portions with very tasty food. The terrace is really great for Bochum-Werne.

In my opinion, a chip shop with a focus on Greek food. By restaurant I mean something different. Staff stressed, overwhelmed and unfriendly. There is a strong smell of food in the store. Old-fashioned interior. The food was nothing special and I happened to see that, among other things, fried onions were being heated in the microwave. Prices are reasonable. Didn't get the receipt, should I have told you beforehand? I know better shops.

Nice restaurant and great employees. Unfortunately, the gyro is not recommended, it is extremely greasy as if it was fried in oil. The fries are good, but unfortunately the tzatziki isn't that tasty either. However, the prices are very customer-friendly, in 2024 a gyro plate under €12, that's great.

For me it's the best Greek restaurant, I always come here from Wuppertal to eat. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and the food is to die for.

It's always a pleasure to eat there. Always friendly staff, delicious food and and and... Unfortunately, parking is the only problem, sometimes you have to walk a bit, but then you can enjoy without regrets!😁 We also do this from time to time outside the house, i.e. picking up the food, and that works without any problems. Overall 6 out of 5 stars!

Actually, we have always been happy, but today we were disappointed. I wanted to try the “popular” mousaka but it was cold in the middle and the potatoes were really disgusting. And for almost €12, a relatively small portion. Unfortunately, the taxi plate didn't convince us today either. Our feedback was received rather cautiously; I would have liked some accommodation or a little attention. But individual guests no longer seem to be valuable here either. A pity.

The food was good but the seating is very tight. At least where we sat. And it closes at 10:30 p.m. This is only suitable for a short-term visit. If you want to sit longer with friends or family in the evening, the restaurant is not suitable late in the evening. Otherwise nice attentive service. To pay you have to go to the checkout. Like in a snack bar.

When you look from the outside it doesn't look as interesting as when you're inside because that's when the ambience comes into its own. Someone with the right thumb took care of making sure the atmosphere was right. I also think that calling it a fast-food restaurant is misleading for many, as I believe that the dishes I tried here are more in line with Michelin-starred cuisine. The meat is very juicy and tasty. I've always had rice as a side dish and have never been disappointed. As a starter there was a small salad, which was always very tasty. The waiters are very friendly and also let you know that the restaurant is run by real Greeks, which I think is great. However, you have to keep in mind that if you want to have dinner here, it is advisable to reserve a table because it gets pretty full.

Absolutely a top address if you want to eat well in Bochum. From starter to main course to dessert, everything is really good.

I really liked it here. It's been a long time since we were able to enjoy such friendly and attentive service. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed. We were assigned a table straight away and it didn't take long until the first drinks were on the table. The food was also prepared very quickly and brought to the table. It tasted excellent. The service is very attentive, fast and friendly. The food is as usual, so good. Gladly again. Update: We were there with 8 people. Everyone was full, happy and satisfied. The Corfu grill was convincing again. The quality here is kept at a really good level, the portions are rich, tasty and visually appealing. Only recommended.

Ein wundervoller Besuch! Der Laden überzeugte nicht nur mit einem ansprechenden Ambiente, sondern auch durch das äußerst freundliche Personal 😍. Der Feta in Filoteig gewickelt war eine köstliche Entdeckung, perfekt zubereitet und ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus 😋. Der abschließende Nachtisch rundete das kulinarische Erlebnis ab und hinterließ einen bleibenden Eindruck 🤩. Ich war hier nur zufällig, da mein "Stammgrieche" geschlossen hatte und total positiv überrascht. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, mit stilechter griechischer Musik. Das essen war heiß und sehr lecker. Ich werde wieder kommen. 👍

Wie immer lecker und sehr gemütlich

Wir haben hier heute zum ersten Mal gegessen und sind sehr zu Frieden. Gyros Teller, Taxi Teller und auch das Bifteki waren sehr lecker. Das Gyros war perfekt gewürzt, gegrillt und absolut nicht fettig. 5 Sterne und zufrieden Kunden die wiederkommen werden.

Ich habe gestern Zucchini-Bällchen gegessen und hatte danach üble Magenprobleme. Mein Besuch hatte exakt die gleichen körperlichen Beschwerden. Übelkeit, Sodbrennen und Magenkrämpfe. Da hat irgendwas vorne und hinten absolut nicht gestimmt. Entweder waren die sehr lange vorbereitet und ungekühlt gelagert oder das Fett war alt. Zum Thema Fett: Die Teile haben in eurer Styroporschale in Fett geschwommen und waren dunkelbraun! Ich weiß nicht was da gestern (26.12.2023) bei euch los war, aber das geht nicht.

Freundlicher und zuvorkommendes Team. Leckere Speisen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Essen sehr lecker, Gyros nicht gummig oder so. Die Portionen sind wiiiirklich ausreichend. Preise sehr angemessen. Kartenzahlung möglich. Toiletten sauber. Ein kleiner Tipp: da wo explizit nicht Zaziki steht, gibt es auch wirklich keins und muss separat dazu bestellt werden :) Genug Platz, um in Ruhe das Essen zu genießen. Wir sind da immer mit einem Kind und wir waren immer sehr zufrieden. Kann jedem empfehlen.

Essen und Service sehr super, anbiete leider Überhaupt nicht schön, liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße und Parkplätze gibt es so gut wie keine ! Schade andere Lage und dann wäre dies eine Goldgrube, so ist das leider nur eine Imbissbude…

Immer einen Besuch wert. Sehr leckere griechische Gerichte zu günstigen Preisen. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die griechische Landwurst sollte dauerhaft auf die Karte. Der Vorspeisensalat mit eingelegten Sachen ist lecker, eine frische Alternative wäre noch gut. Aber wir kommen so oder so wieder.

sehr gutes Lokal, von außen denkt man, dass es nur ein kleiner Imbiss ist, aber von innen ist es Restaurant Style. Preis-Leistung völliger in Ordnung, Essen lecker, Bedienung total nett. Allerdings ungewöhnlich für ein Griechen, dass es hier kein Ouzo gibt nach dem Essen, ansonsten alles in Ordnung, kann man jedem empfehlen

Für ein Schnellrestaurant richtig toll eingerichtet, gemütliche Atmosphäre. Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Viel Auswahl auf der Speicherkarte. Haben uns für ein Tagesgericht entschieden und waren begeistert. Gerne wieder. Super gute Portion zum super Preis. Toller Service. Würde allerdings eigentlich einen halben Punkt abziehen, da es zum Abschluss keinen Ouzo gab. 😀

Super nettes Personal und essen

Auf den ersten Blick wirklich gut und nett. Aufmerksames Personal, das einen schon an der Tür empfängt. Dann allerdings war bei der ersten Getränkebestellung schon eins von zwei Getränken falsch. Dann wurde das Hauptgericht schon serviert, als die Vorspeisen noch auf dem Tisch standen. Das Essen ansich war lecker, das Fleisch allerdings sehr fettdurchzogen. Die Preise machen anfangs einen guten Eindruck, relativieren sich aber aufgrund der doch teilweise schon sparsamen Portionen. Im Grossen und Ganzen häuften sich also die Minuspunkte. Wäre der aufmerksame und freundliche Empfang nicht gewesen, würde ich noch einen Stern weniger geben.

Sehr gerne holen wir auch das Essen, ist immer lecker, gut gewürzt, nicht zu scharf oder zu salzig. Service ist immer nett.

Leckeres Essen zu einem guten Preis. Hier stimmt der Service. Vielen Dank! Für zwei Personen ist die Grillplatte vor allem zu erwähnen. Unfassbar große Portion, die sehr lecker schmeckt. Aber auch das Gyros schmeckt sehr gut. Edit: 26.12 - War jetzt seit meiner ersten Bewertung weitere 4-5x bei dem Korfu Grill in Bochum. Für mich mit Abstand der authentischste und leckerste griechische Restaurant in ganz NRW. Persönlich immer noch zu unterbewertet, wenn man bedenkt, wie gut der Service und das Essen hier ist. Ganz großer geheim Tipp hier essen zu gehen!

Pommes bestellt, Super Kleine Portion, keine Gabeln obwohl zum mitnehmen und ungesalzen.

Von außen unscheinbar, von innen dann überraschend gut. Wirklich leckere Gerichte. Das Fleisch ist zart und gut, aber nicht übertrieben, gewürzt. Der Service aufmerksam & nett. Das alles zu fairen Preisen. Wir waren mit fünf Erwachsenen und mehrten Kindern da, alle waren zufrieden und satt. Kommen gern wieder

Ein äußerst pasables Restaurant. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Speisekarte, welche ich erhielt mit einem klebrigem Sekret übergossen wurde und dementsprechend klebte. Ich bezeifle, dass es eine sehr große Schwierigkeit dargestellt hätte, die überall erwerblichen Klarsichtfolien auszutauschen. Wie gesagt mundete das Essen sehr, und ist empfehlenswert.

Der Umbau ist sehr gut gelungen... dafür leidet die Qualität sehr deutlich und die Portionen sind auch sehr geschrumpft... habe den Griechen innerhalb Bochum Werne gewechselt.
