Korean Chicken Kokio Wiesbaden in Wiesbaden

Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing. The manager doesn't speak German, nor does most of the staff. This makes it very difficult to complain or resolve problems. Communication is severely limited due to the language barrier, which also leads to orders frequently being taken incorrectly. In addition, there are very long waiting times, as orders sometimes sit unattended for 5-10 minutes. Overall, the service suffers considerably as a result.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The place is tiny, yet they frequently accept reservations, which severely disrupts the flow of service. Officially, the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM, but I've often seen guests staying much longer. A major problem is the management: The manager doesn't speak German. Complaints are therefore impossible to resolve, making the visit extremely frustrating. The food also left me with an unpleasant feeling – I regularly get stomach aches afterward, unlike at the branch in Kastel, where the food is significantly better. All in all, the restaurant seems disorganized and unprofessional, making the experience very unpleasant.

Best Korean Fried Chicken, but service and wait times disappoint! The food at KOKIO Wiesbaden is truly great. The Korean Fried Chicken is by far the best I've ever eaten; super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The taste is absolutely top-notch! Unfortunately, the service significantly dampens the overall experience. The staff often doesn't answer the phone, and orders are misunderstood or not taken correctly, even when everything was clearly agreed upon beforehand. This regularly leads to misunderstandings and sometimes to unpleasant discussions on the spot when the wrong food is delivered. Added to that are the long wait times: it depends on the current capacity, when you can pick up your food; this can vary between 15 and 60 minutes. Apparently, they have a lot of orders at once, which is understandable, but as a customer, it's difficult to adjust to this. In summary: If you want good Korean Fried Chicken, this is the place to go in terms of taste. However, if you value reliable service and punctual pickup, you'll need patience or strong nerves.

It's so crispy and delicious. I recommend ordering in advance. We were told it would be ready in 50 minutes due to a high volume of orders, so we ordered, explored the city, and came back. It's delicious, even without the soy sauce seasoning.

The food here is delicious. I drove an hour just to get here.

The moment we walked in, we felt uncomfortable. The floor was slick with oil, and there were broken chairs and sofas everywhere. The wait staff was even worse. The wait staff acted like, "I'm busy, don't bother me!" Finally, after waiting 10 minutes, we were finally able to order. They told us we'd have to wait 45 minutes (there was no one in the restaurant), even though they could have explained that right from the start. Eating in this restaurant is incredibly unfriendly and I highly recommend it. (Also, all the five-star reviews here are fake.)

The food is really great! The service is so-so. I think you just shouldn't expect too much. I've been there five times now to order takeout. The man at the counter seems a bit unmotivated. Sometimes even a bit annoyed. But like I said, I always takeout. I had no problem reaching the restaurant by phone. But the "service" was the same.
