Chicken is good but everytime I go there I pay more and get less food. This time when I got my order I checked and something was wrong. The box was half empty. When I asked why is it like that they say it should be like that and when I asked for a refund they said it's not possible. Please be careful with your order.

The food is really great! The service is so-so. I think you just shouldn't expect too much. I've been there five times now to order takeout. The man at the counter seems a bit unmotivated. Sometimes even a bit annoyed. But like I said, I always takeout. I had no problem reaching the restaurant by phone. But the "service" was the same.

Best Korean Fried Chicken, but service and wait times disappoint! The food at KOKIO Wiesbaden is truly great. The Korean Fried Chicken is by far the best I've ever eaten; super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The taste is absolutely top-notch! Unfortunately, the service significantly dampens the overall experience. The staff often doesn't answer the phone, and orders are misunderstood or not taken correctly, even when everything was clearly agreed upon beforehand. This regularly leads to misunderstandings and sometimes to unpleasant discussions on the spot when the wrong food is delivered. Added to that are the long wait times: it depends on the current capacity, when you can pick up your food; this can vary between 15 and 60 minutes. Apparently, they have a lot of orders at once, which is understandable, but as a customer, it's difficult to adjust to this. In summary: If you want good Korean Fried Chicken, this is the place to go in terms of taste. However, if you value reliable service and punctual pickup, you'll need patience or strong nerves.

I called three times today to order my food for pickup, but no one answered the phone. When I got to the restaurant, the cashier told me she was the only one there, but I saw her ignoring incoming calls. While I was sitting at a table waiting for over 30 minutes for my order, she approached me and told me to get up because other customers wanted to sit down and eat in. This behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. Please hire employees who are respectful and enjoy their work, motivated by their own interests. Otherwise, it will damage your restaurant's reputation and overall image!

The chicken is really good in terms of price and taste. The inside is still juicy. I would recommend the Red sauce. 😊 The restaurant is small but we always take away so no problem for us. Waiting time could be long in busy hours.

I came all the way from Mainz just to sit down and enjoy my chicken at Kokio since in Mainz it’s takeaway only. The location has around 5 tables, each seating 4 people, so I’d say there’s a decent amount of space. If it gets crowded, the service can take a little while, but honestly, it’s well worth the wait. Once you try their food, you’ll start questioning what exactly you’d been calling Korean fried chicken before and why on earth you didn’t come here sooner :) 10/10.

The chicken here is absolutely fantastic. Our family loves the red chicken (boneless or bone-in). The team here is very friendly. We have not eaten in the restaurant the chicken is still on point after a 10 minute walk home. The inside of the restaurant doesn’t have much in the way of ambience but the chicken should more than make up for it. The potato wedges are also good. Try their chicken, you will be hooked.

Totally Disaster service, the people working there they don’t know how to provide customer service. Especially the guy who is phone operator he didn’t answer the call after trying half an hour he said that they sold out. This is happened to me several times.😡 They wasted the time.

I love the Korean Fried Chicken at Kokio. The Chicken Ball Black and Chicken Ball Red are simply the best. We always get a large portion per person and share some rice with it. The radish is a must! However, you should plan for a waiting time or order the food in advance, as it usually takes over 40 minutes. I would also recommend taking food with you, as the atmosphere there is rather uncomfortable. But if you're looking for the best Korean Fried Chicken in the Rhine-Main area, you have to go to Kokio!

Didn't convince me. The price was 15€ for one portion. I waited 30 minutes for a portion. The food was not convincing. I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Today at 4:03 p.m. the two of us went to the restaurant, which opens at 4:00 p.m. There was only one free table for two people. Shortly after us, two young ladies arrived without reservations, and one of them simply sat down at this table. We assumed we had priority since we were there before them. The waitress pointed out to the ladies that they had to order, but took their order anyway. When it was our turn we were told there were no more seats. When we pointed out that the ladies had come after us, we only got the answer that they had already ordered. A takeaway order would have taken over an hour, which wasn't an option for us. I was there with my wife, who is autistic, and such unfair situations are particularly stressful for her. This experience took a toll on her emotionally, and the way the staff treated her was completely unacceptable for me too. We will not tolerate such unprofessional behavior - we will definitely not be coming back.

There's nothing to complain about when it comes to food, but unfortunately the staff has the phone as busy as the employee feels like, sometimes he answers, sometimes he doesn't, and when the store is full he never answers, which is disrespectful to his customers who aren't in the store The phone has to be manned at all times if you specify it. I don't know of any other restaurants........

Food is quite good, but the service is nothing! Orders are almost always incorrect and the gentleman who takes the orders and greets guests (rude) always seems very stressed and a bit overwhelmed. It is also very unhygienic that everyone takes their own cutlery from a box. Waiting times can be around 20 minutes despite pre-ordering, and 60-80 minutes without pre-ordering.

Had a great time. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this chicken was. I ate every drop and piece of chicken on my tray and every French fry as well. The restaurant is small but just big enough. I love the seating arrangement, we sat by the window and it was super cool eating and looking out the big window. When in Wiesbaden again, I’ll definitely stop by again!

This place is amazing. I’ve been coming here since it re-debuted to this Wiesbaden location. It is consistently delicious. Plus the guy who works behind the counter is so nice and friendly! Whenever I call ahead for a pickup order, he repeats the order back to me to ensure he understood me correctly (since I’m ordering in English.) The set menu 3 with red sauce is always my order with a side of white sauce. The drinks are really pricey in my opinion. I would recommend you order for take away so you aren’t spending a significant amount on drinks. The wait can be long, but that’s expected because food comes out HOT and fresh. 👌There are a few tables available for dine in, but sometimes it gets crowded. Ordering in ahead of time saves you the wait time. Whether you decide to dine in or take out, the chicken is delicious and your taste buds will be happy!

Everything is really great except the service. My orders have been ruined several times. My food was ready but half of it was missing and then I had to wait another 20 minutes until the rest was ready. When I got home everything was cold and super sad! and strangely enough, it's always the same operator who messes it up

They should change kitchen closing time hours every time I try to make an order around 8 at both locations either the owner lies and says sold out or they say the kitchen is closed earlier than the time listed because they have too many orders. Just change the closing time.

We already know the branch in Mainz and wanted to try the branch in Wiesbaden. Everything was very tasty and also very warm. However, the store area gets very crowded very quickly as opening times are from 4 p.m. The best time is between 5:30-6 p.m. We'll definitely come by again.

Quality has deteriorated a lot... I ate at Kokio at least once a week but the quality has deteriorated significantly over the past 1-2 months. There is a lot of fat in the chicken meat and they no longer taste crispy and tender as always but are now soggy because of the fat. Unfortunately it's time for a break at Kokio.

Here there are only chicken pieces, but fried in the Korean style. That means fried and then a spicy sauce on top. But don't worry, it's not nearly as spicy as in Korea, but it's tasty. All self-service

The people who celebrate this place have probably never eaten properly in their lives... The unhealthiest food ever, everything is swimming in fat... The sauces are disgusting... The waiter at the checkout has no idea either what he wants to sell... I took a look at the kitchen, which you can see when you walk towards the toilet... Hope the health department will stop by soon.

When we went inside the place was not as big and spacious, but there are a few tables to sit. You have to scan your phone on a scan code, and it will show the menu then you order at the register. We were not warned while sitting but a few minutes we were told we have to order at the register. The staff was helpful and kind. There is one small bathroom in the back as well. When you finish your food there is a rack to place your food when done. The food was also really good I enjoyed the chicken and rice. Overall 5 stars!!!
