The reception and service were almost perfect, you felt very welcome as a guest. We had mojito and caipirinha as drinks which were delicious! For dinner I had Giant Hawaiian Prawns and my wife had Maui Broil, both meals were delicious. Only in my meal were the "baked potatoes" served with a matjes sauce with apple and onions, which was a bit strange to me with lobster crabs! Unfortunately the ambience had deteriorated a lot, we were very well positioned in the terrace area but the smell of feces, caused by the pigeons that had spread out in the flower pots on the terrace, was very unpleasant!

Uncomfortable stools that are too high. Far too loud and a surveillance camera that specifically watched one person throughout the evening.

We've had a great evening there several times. The service staff and reception in general are extremely courteous. Good selection of different dishes, but not too overloaded menu. Therefore very good. Good taste.

Spontaneously found this pearl in downtown Nuremberg. The food is a 10/10, the atmosphere is exciting and pleasant, but the highlight is the unmistakable good mood, friendliness and sympathy of the waitress Samira!! Strong recommendation, no regrets 👊🏻

Good cocktails but poor value for money on food. Not clear what could have been Hawaiian about the "Hawaiian shrimp".

We came here for cocktails. The cocktails were good and there was a huge selection. We particularly liked the shots e.g. Parrot and the spirits to enjoy straight. There was a good selection of rum here.

Pretty decent place, decent drinks however the food is okay. It’s a great place maybe off the Main Street. The decor and music is definitely good and retro. The drinks are fair (would like more alcohol) however the food is very mid for sure. Worth a visit especially past 2000.

Right from the start we were welcomed as guests in a very friendly and courteous manner throughout our entire evening. Starting with the reception... we hadn't reserved any seats and were nevertheless immediately shown to a very nice table by the receptionist. Thanks for that !!! The KonTiki is a great restaurant with a very large selection of cocktails. The three cocktails we drank that evening were all very tasty, beautifully prepared and served quickly at the table. Many thanks to the bartender!!! Our dishes were a very good cross-section of the types of meat on offer and were hot and fried to the required degree with the wonderfully steamed vegetables and a good portion of rice. VERY GOOD !!!! Many thanks to the chef and his team!!! We also don't want to forget the serving staff...the young lady was very attentive, quick and friendly in our service and also very nice overall. Thank you very much for that!!! Last but not least... the entire restaurant has a great atmosphere thanks to its different levels and exotic decoration, where you can forget about time and forget about the everyday hustle and bustle. Thank you very much for this wonderful evening!!!

The ambience is great, the service is quick and attentive, the cocktails are not great, but still recommended. But: if I pay €29 for Maui Broil and €42.50 for Surf and Turf, then I expect more of the vegetables than a lot of broccoli, or for example. 'cheap' farmer potatoes aka wedges from the wholesale market. The meat was great, but the side dishes weren't any better than at the snack bar next door. Almost cheeky for this money. My wife had a side salad instead of farmer's potatoes - and it wasn't really fresh either. Recommended for a cocktail visit, but the food is definitely not worth it, so I feel rather ripped off at such prices in retrospect...

Such a great atmosphere. We really enjoy coming here, both for food and for sipping cocktails, which are really, really good and fresh. The music puts you in a good mood and the employees are all really welcoming. See you next time

Ein einmaliger Besuch. Leider extrem teuer. Essenportionen viel zu klein. Es kann einfach nicht angehen dass ich über 35euro zahle für ein mittelmäßiges Steak und danach nicht satt bin. Der Cocktail entsprach nicht meiner Bestellung und dann wurde mir weiß gemacht, das ein Moreo und ein Coconutkiss der gleiche Cocktail ist nur in einem anderen Glas. Kellnerin war total überfordert und kann noch eine Menge an Freundlichkeit lernen. Gegen 23uhr wurden wir dann raus geekelt weil sich das Restaurant in eine Disco verwandelte und das Unterhalten ging immer schwerer da weil es immer lauter wurde. Wir waren über zwanzig Personen - niemand war begeistert und keiner wird das Lokal nochmal besuchen. Traurig das ich in Deutschland ins Restaurant geh und eigentlich keine Deutschen Mitarbeiter dort vor finde.

Great atmosphere, very cozy. Since the change of ownership, it has been hyped as a steakhouse. But in my opinion it is not. Steaks are good. But it's not the selection and quality of a steakhouse (e.g. Gramm Wahl etc.) The menu is very long, with appropriate selection. The 4 main categories are: steak Fish Vegetarian Cocktails Historically, Kon-Tiki originally started with cocktails and is still a good place for them today.

Nice bar, nice ambience and nice staff, BUT THE BEER ONLY AVAILABLE IN 0.3!!!! In the middle of Nuremberg, in Franconia, you can get draft beer in a 0.3 glass and only Pils (no light beer) and now it comes: wheat was also brought in a 0.3 glass! Wheat, Karl!!! I thought it couldn't be true and ordered extra wheat and yet, I couldn't believe my eyes, they are prepared for anything and have extra glasses for wheat in size 0.3 🤣🤣🤣🤦 (picture attached) Guys, really, what's the problem with pouring beer in a 0.5 glass? I just can't explain it... But if you don't want to drink beer, this place is nice and chic.

Very fine food, despite the high prices you have to make a reservation.

Gemütlich, aufmerksames Personal, leckeres Essen und sauleckere Cocktails! Da fühlt man sich (fast) wie in der Südsee. Empfehlung…wer nicht am verhungern ist sollte enweder nur eine Vorspeise oder nur das Hauptgericht nehmen. Warum? Weil beides üppig ist. Ist dann voll schade wenn man die Hälfte von der superleckeren Hauptspeise zurückgehen lassen muss weil man es partout nicht mehr schafft. Aufgewärmt schmeckt das meistens eh nie wieder so gut wie frisch serviert ;)

Very cool restaurant right on the Pegnitz. Food is ok, unfortunately not outstanding but rather ok. Drinks and cocktails good. But overall the price is rather high. Happy hour offers are completely missing.

Cozy, delicious food, friendly service. Some of the prices are now really steep (e.g. €20 for a starter with two small fish skewers and a bit of salad). Even the cocktails that are advertised as exotic are mostly standard, sweet mixes.

Really Nice location & good Service a 10/10

The location is located right on the river and offers seating from the bar with a view of the water. Really beautifull! The service is great, very friendly and attentive! But unfortunately we didn't think the food was good. The fish platter was too expensive for the quantity and quality. The fish was already cooked beyond the point of being dead, and the vegetable side dish was also rather mushy instead of with any bite. A pity! The Crunchyburger was bland, tasteless. Despite later ordering ketchup portions, it didn't get any better. The ingredients simply don't harmonize together in the burger. The burger buns were dusty dry and flaking apart. There are potato wedges as a side dish. These were also floury to the bite, dry and had probably been warmed up several times, with no sauce. The Hugo was great as an aperitif! Conclusion: unfortunately the food was a disappointment! But maybe the cocktails are awesome?

A super nice ambience in Hawaiian style. The food and the cocktails taste perfect, although the prices are a bit higher, but the food tastes great and the service is also completely fine. When we came in, we were given a glass of champagne as a “welcome greeting”. It was a top experience and we would love to come back.

Yesterday we were at Kontiki again for a long time because we still had a voucher. Unfortunately, the food was completely tasteless - the steak was okay, but the burger was really inedible. The cocktails were extremely strong and the atmosphere was very uncomfortable. We were probably unlucky with the placement, in a kind of winter garden there was no Kontiki feeling at all that I remember from before. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it can no longer be recommended. In the end we had over 100 euros on the bill (1 starter, 2 main courses, 3 cocktails, 1 water) and found the price-performance ratio to be underground. Service was great though! At least my complaint about the food was taken into account.

Always beautiful. The cocktail selection is really large and varied. It's nicely decorated inside, although in my opinion it's much nicer to sit in the upper area. The food is always good, although the ostrich could be a little less well-done. Overall, really recommended.

The bar is absolutely recommended. High quality of cocktails, very good and friendly service. People have fun at work. Music, audience, location - everything is perfect.

Cocktails at the village disco level at best! I have been frequenting cocktail bars, especially Tiki, all over the world for years and, as befits, I order a Mai Tai to start with. In Nuremberg the day before yesterday I was served the worst one ever. With distance. I don't want to and can't comment on the food because we only wanted the “Tiki Drinks”. When the bar keeper told me which rum blend he used for his “Mai Tai” I had to smile, but I still had the courage. However, he didn't mention the fact that he didn't use lime juice, which is essential for this drink, but rather orange and pineapple juice. With all love. Trader Vic would be spinning in his grave. Unfortunately, the bartender wasn't really open to criticism. I answered his question “And, it tastes good, right?” honestly. Namely, that the drink was really, really bad. In other bars you would ask what exactly wouldn't fit and offer the customer a compromise. But not here. Here the bartender simply says “yes, he’s great!”. In the online cocktail community, KONTIKI is apparently one of the “juice shops” for a reason. I wanted a Mai Tai and got a bad “Bahama Mama”. Served in a hurricane glass and a huge slice of pineapple. Unfortunately, that's only enough for the baller man.

Very cool atmosphere. The cocktails are mixed, I think the Pina Colada was good, but many of the others didn't taste that great. To eat: Unfortunately the spareribs are not good at all. I actually enjoyed eating the crispy chicken burger, but the last few times it was just too dry and the ratio of the bun to the rest of the burger didn't fit.

Good place, it is something different within the city due to its decoration and the spectacular views of the river. The food was good, we tried a selection of grilled meats and fish and it was good without being anything exceptional. We were a large group and the portions were very generous. Probably the best thing, the variety of cocktails.

Music a bit loud but good, drinks definitely very good. Tiki Bar by the river is definitely recommended

Nice atmosphere with good service. The food. Oh well. Had the incredibly expensive mixed platter. Shrimp ok, the chicken fried to death and the beef? Run over in Poland. Only the small piece of salmon was convincing. The vegetables were mushy, the potato pancakes smelled of old fat and the sauces were also okay. The service was remarkably good and friendly. Even though all the drinks were "juiced" to the max, they were still tasty. I had another messed up Mai Tai. From the blender, but tasty, not a Mai Tai, but enjoyable. The atmosphere is nice and the view of the river makes up for the food. Definitely come for a drink in the summer, but no longer for dinner.

Getting old... nothing has changed about the food. It's quite ok and that's why the price performance is no longer right. Very simple cuisine at proud prices. Our service was really bad. Partially bored, unfriendly, not polite. An experienced cellar welcomed us and gave us great advice. But then he handed over to a colleague, to the detriment of our experience. There's not much to say about the food. Rice is poured with sauce and the meat is simply fried. Quite ok.

Excellent dinner, to choose if you want to eat some grilled meat or substantial hamburgers. A place also suitable for spending the after dinner with excellent drinks and live music with a DJ set.
