Beautiful beer garden right on the lake We spontaneously made a detour to this beautifully situated beer garden – right on the lake, spacious, idyllic, and with a truly lovely atmosphere. There are plenty of shady spots under old trees, which is especially pleasant on warm days. Dogs are also welcome, which we particularly appreciated. Self-service, as you would expect: In a small hut, you can get snacks and drinks – from non-alcoholic drinks to cold beers. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the wine spritzers: I had a white wine spritzer, which at 0.4 liters was unusually large and really refreshing. The culinary offerings are also solid – currywurst, bratwurst, and vegetarian options. Ideal for a relaxing stopover or a cozy summer evening.

A beautiful beer garden right by the Dutzendteich lake. Delicious, home-style cooking at a reasonable price. A pleasant atmosphere. We were in Nuremberg over the weekend, ate here on Saturday, and went back on Sunday because we enjoyed the food so much.

Good food, a bit loud in the large dining room

Anyone who's from Nuremberg knows the Gutmann – and anyone who isn't should definitely get to know it! With its fantastic location directly on the Dutzendteich lake, its beautiful beer garden under old trees, and its delicious food, the Gutmann is a true institution in Nuremberg. The whole package is just right here. The regularly excellent program is also particularly worth mentioning: always great concerts, events, and cultural highlights. Whether for a cozy meal, a balmy summer evening in the beer garden, or an evening of music – the Gutmann is always worth a visit!

Had an exceptional breakfast, with a nice view on the Dutzendteich and overall relaxing atmosphere. Waiters were friendly and helpful, suggested menu items. Food was very delicious and served in a very good portion that wouldn't leave you hungry. Coffee was also very good. Will definitely return again!

Unreserved recommendation: Salad with fried pike-perch. The fish was divine. The lettuce seemed a bit limp, but that could also have been due to the tropical heat. I've rarely eaten such well-prepared pike-perch.

Mind you, we weren't in the beer garden, but in the restaurant (private party). The food was truly excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The service was excellent, every single one – extremely friendly and very attentive. It was a truly successful evening! We'll definitely be back.

I ate at Gutmann on a really sunny day. You can sit inside or outside – both are comfortable. Up on the terrace, you have a fantastic view of the Dutzendteich lake, really beautiful. I had a chicken salad, and the house dressing was really delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly and relaxed.

A wonderful birthday party in the Wannerstube on the first floor with use of the roof terrace. My guests and I were extremely satisfied with the excellent food and the very friendly and attentive service!

Wir sind öfter und gerne bei Gutmann am Dutzendteich,vor allem im Sommer.Das Essen ist gut und auch heiss,so wie es sein sollte,allerdings nur im Innenbereich.Aussen sind die Würste nicht mal lauwarm und das Sauerkraut ebenso.Bis man am Platz sitzt ist alles bereits kalt. Wir werden im Aussenbereich daher nicht mehr essen.Es ist immer so und es schmeckt uns dann nicht.Schade,aber das geht auch anders..

If you want a non-alcoholic Colaweizen or Russ, that's only possible if you take the second half as well. If this were a small village pub, that would be a bit more understandable, but for such a large beer garden, it's disproportionate... What a pity.

I was at the Gutmann for the Zweirad 40th anniversary, and I really enjoyed it. Delicious food, attentive service (especially a young woman who radiated just as much joy at the end of the event as she did at the beginning). It's a beautiful location by the lake, within walking distance of the city center (about 3.5 km). There were about 100 people in the hall, but it could probably accommodate 200. There's also a stage.

A restaurant with a very nice beer garden by the Dutzendteich lake. Outside, they serve rustic beer garden dishes, some fresh from the grill. But be careful with the fries, which are unfortunately often very salty... Inside, they offer very tasty home-style dishes and snacks. Our favorite: the "Roten Zipfel," sweet and sour Nuremberg sausages in a berry-flavored broth. We're already researching the recipe. The service is very attentive and genuinely friendly. This makes every visit a pleasant experience. The prices aren't as artificially inflated as in other restaurants, citing Ukraine's inflation. We'll be back. Update: When the weather's nice, be sure to make a reservation for the terrace! It's in high demand! The service in the outdoor bar area is super friendly, but the beer isn't cold enough compared to the beer garden. Still, an incomparable atmosphere.

The atmosphere was super nice, and the food was also excellent. We came spontaneously as a large group (about 15 people) and got a table right away. The food came quickly and was very tasty, and the portions were generous.

The beer was delicious! And the service was nice and friendly! The ambiance looks great with all the trees outside! I highly recommend the schnitzel! I HIGHLY recommend it to tourists and locals alike.

I'm not a big fan of German food, either. I think it's very expensive and the portions are excessive. I don't know if that's normal for them, but it filled me up a lot. However, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very traditional.

Unfortunately, a disappointment! I've been there several times and was always extremely satisfied with the service and quality of the food. But today the overall impression was significantly lower! At first, everything was as usual: a friendly greeting and quick drink orders, as well as immediate delivery. But then the worst, in my opinion, was unacceptable. We sat at our table about 40 minutes after the drinks were delivered and were no longer served or noticed. Even after we placed the closed menu at the edge of the table, there was no response. Customers who came in after us were already eating, and we weren't even asked! We also made ourselves known, but still no response. So we got up, paid for our drinks, and left empty-handed!

I ate a roulade, it was clearly too small, and I was still hungry! All for €19.90! Sorry, that's a joke, as I'm not a big eater! Very disappointing! Your place is always full, do you really need this kind of rip-off? That's one way to ruin restaurants! You probably won't believe it!

The location and decor are promising, the service was friendly – ​​unfortunately, the food didn't live up to that. The shandy came without carbonation, the dish was overcooked, barely seasoned, and the portion was rather small. It's a shame, there could have been more.

A very nice spot, right on the Dutzendteich lake. There's a self-service area (outside in the beer garden), as well as a restaurant with table service (indoor and outdoor). We sat in the beer garden, so I can't comment on the "service" rating. The prices aren't overpriced for a beer garden in a good location. In the evenings, two musicians occasionally play their instruments, which makes the whole experience even more relaxing.

Summary: Very nice location, friendly staff, and a delicious white sausage breakfast. Staff: all super friendly! They repeatedly asked if everything was okay, without being intrusive (even though there were few staff and a few guests!) Location: one word that immediately comes to mind is idyllic. Although it's located on a busy road, the road disappears into the background. The lake allows you to relax (and yes, you can really enjoy the wheat beer that way!)

A cozy get-together is always possible, even in the beer garden!

We ate there before an event and had reserved seats online. The service was really fast, so we got our drinks and food quickly. The food looked very good, but you could tell it wasn't freshly made, but kept warm.

The menu is homely, with a selection of salads. The quality is good. There's almost always room outside. Table service is available in the restaurant and on the terrace, and self-service is available in the beer garden. There are mature trees here, and the lake is within sight. Free parking is available a short distance away. Coffee and cake are also available, as well as seasonal specials.

It was our first time at Gutmann am Dürrenteich and we were completely thrilled. The Schäufele with dumpling was perfectly prepared, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce was also strong and homemade in the best sense. My wife had the cabbage roulade with mashed potatoes, and this dish was also a real hit: delicately seasoned, hearty and wonderfully filling. The portions are generous, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is typically Franconian, cozy and authentic. We'll definitely be back.
