Sunday afternoon full house, very difficult to get a table, the conditions are very busy, but friendly and nice. The cakes are very tasty! But cappuccino can be improved. It's better to make a reservation or use the beer benches outside.

Both the service from the reservation to the appointment as well as the service on site were phenomenal. This wasn't the first time and definitely won't be the last time. A brilliant restaurant.

Great location at our beautiful dozen pond. A MUST in summer, but also a nice atmosphere in winter. You can feel completely comfortable at the Gutmann. Rich menu, something for everyone. The Schäufele was very, very tasty. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. You can feel comfortable all around.

I was at an event there. No complaints, but I didn't eat or drink anything. That was ok.

Highly recommended. Price performance is really great. We ordered schnitzel, Schäufele and, from the monthly menu, deer goulash with hazelnut spaetzle. The quality of the food was fantastic and it was delivered quite quickly. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarrn and apple strudel with vanilla sauce and applesauce. The restaurant is located directly on the large Dozenich.

We were at the Guthmann restaurant on the Dürrenteich and absolutely loved it! Here you can get excellent German cuisine that really impresses. The dishes are not only incredibly tasty, but also served in large portions - no one goes home hungry here. The quality of the food is excellent, everything tastes fresh and homemade. We were particularly impressed by the traditional dishes - they are prepared with great attention to detail. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the friendly staff ensures that you feel completely at home. Anyone who appreciates good German cuisine and places great value on taste has come to the right place. Absolutely recommended – we would love to come back!

Great for a late, tasty dinner (goat cheese, schnitzel) on the terrace, friendly service staff. It also worked spontaneously with a late lunch on Boxing Day. The sauerbraten and the wild boar knuckle tasted great and the friendly people in service managed the shop really well when it was busy! It tasted very good again on Boxing Day 2024 and the people in service are great! 😊

Beautiful, cozy location! Was there with my girlfriend & dog. First, enjoy some hearty home-style cooking and a delicious Gutmann beer - and then head over to the event hall for the comedy program. A nice economy to feel good about. Relaxed audience, very, very nice service staff. Nobody had a problem with our Labrador, who likes to lie halfway at the next table. Everyone spoke to him and he did a little local tour - it wasn't an issue for anyone and in the end he was happy under the bench 👍 Food came super quickly and was very tasty! Service, as I said, 1A and the bill at the end - you're still looking forward to it. Reasonable prices and nothing too expensive. In the evening I was able to go for a dog walk at the Zehnteich pond... here too, people greet you and you can relax and get some fresh air. All in all, it was a great stay: we ate well, had a great program and spent some lovely hours at Gutmann's. We would love to come back 🙏👍

I go to Gutmann every now and then, most recently for my 70th birthday party, but also with friends or with my grandchildren in the summer to the beer garden. A nice, cozy Franconian restaurant on the Zehnteich.

I can't confirm the bad reviews. We were there last night. I had roast pork and my friend had the salmon with risotto. The roast pork was super tasty and plentiful. I didn't finish the portion and my wish to add sauce to the rest to take away was granted. The salmon was probably just as delicious. The side salad was too big for me, so I couldn't finish the roast... complaining at a high level 😉. Service was also good. So we can't say anything bad.

Very good restaurant in a nice environment. I arrived 30 minutes early because my tour of the documentary center was over. It wasn't a problem, I was allowed to wait at the counter until my table was vacated by other guests. The food came quickly and was very good. I am happy to have been here and can recommend it.

Went to a Christmas party there. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, especially the beer sauce. Disturbed Christmas party with football TV and guests stealing chairs.

Very cultured Franconian with tasty food

I made a reservation by phone because nothing was available online. Here I was promised that a table would be possible. Unfortunately there was nothing written on the reservation slip on site, which we had to read ourselves... Nevertheless, a very nice gentleman made an effort and provided us with a table for an hour. Service (the gentleman) is very friendly The food is very good except for the schnitzel with potato salad, which was good but carelessly prepared.

The food was good. It's by the lake and the museum. There's not many options in this area. It gets busy at night, and you might need reservation.

Be sure to use the extra dumplings option if you want to be full as an adult. Tastes really good. And the service employee was great, the roast pork was on the table at the same time as the light one. Perfect

Good bourgeois, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The pike perch fillet was completely unseasoned and the "light" beer was almost inedible. The salad, on the other hand, is nicely dressed with a spicy dressing. The vegetable curry was ok so far, but apart from eggplant and peppers, it could contain a few more different vegetables and be a little more sophisticated. The service is OK.

Were there as a group last Saturday. I can only say very disappointing. Everything was food, really everything was warmed up. From schnitzel to roast pork. Roast pork was partly cold. Dumplings were hard, not fresh. Schnitzel was ready and lukewarm. Salad was very, very sour and apple strudel wasn't cooked through yet... Sorry, but serving something like that to a large group is a shame. We will definitely plan our meeting somewhere else now.

We spontaneously went to Gutmann for lunch with a group of 11 people. Even though the restaurant was very busy, we were immediately given a table upstairs. The service was friendly and attentive, the lunch was very tasty, the portions were generous and the price-performance ratio was great. The only drawback, from our point of view, was that it was decorated for Christmas and that happened right next to, above or behind you (e.g. window sill). Since we weren't even spoken to in this case, we found it rude. Otherwise a clear recommendation. 😊

A poem every time you're a guest at Gutmann's at Dozenich. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and you feel very well served. The service staff responds to the wishes and needs of the guests. And whether you are a guest in the summer or in the cold months, the ambience inside and outside is great. I can only give you 5 stars, but you deserve much more.

We had a quick meal before visiting the Nazi Documentation Museum. Which is also partly under construction. This place is known, frequented by the people of Nuremberg and we really enjoyed it. Great value for money. Just that for one of the orders we were served a schnitzel instead of a herring... We were surprised by the material and we said nothing until they realized because we were served offset. In the end it was still good!

The staff is the most efficient and hard working ever. We ordered, ate and had desert in under 40 minutes. Then we had to leave as everything was reserved. Fully packed. It's a big place, so the acoustics are not great. Mostly big tables, so nothing for the cozy experience. Their cakes were really good (properly cooled).
