Kolpinghaus in Menden (Sauerland)

Food good, tasty 😋 and rich. Ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Staff nice and friendly. Great for takeaway food. But nothing more

The customer service was subpar, I have rarely been so shocked by the way customers were treated. A hair in my food was simply ignored by the waitress, after that we were just watched from afar and also ignored. Nobody spoke to us anymore, the plate with the hair was carried into the kitchen without comment. No apologies were made or anything was offered to me. I was only offered a new schnitzel but the hunger was gone. He then had to carry the rest of my friend's schnitzel to the counter himself to have it packed. After expressing the lack of understanding about the situation, we were only asked if we wanted to speak to the boss, because the waitress didn't know how to help us. The taste of the schnitzel was okay. Really a shame.

Panna Cotta and Lune de Meriel were delicious. Service top. Burger menu could have been better. You can't complain about the prices.
