The era of "classic Asian restaurants" with dragon paintings on the walls and hot plates during meals doesn't exist here. The design, even the restrooms, is very modern, with modern materials and furnishings. This is a natural continuation of the menu and presentation, with modern tableware and food presentation. Simply a visual and gustatory experience!

Very good sushi with great service. We were able to ask specifically about vegetarian and vegan options, and they made a real effort to find something suitable. Tip: The coconut curry actually contains cream, but the vegetables with tamarind are vegan. All of this comes at a price, though. For five meals and drinks, we're looking at €140.

A lovely place to eat, drink, and enjoy a meal with family or friends. We'd be happy to come back. The atmosphere is very pleasant both inside and out.

Delicious Pan-Asian food. It was a Sunday evening in August, and compared to the other locations in Nuremberg and Fürth, it was probably less busy, as it was a bit off the beaten track from the center.

Careful Vegans & Vegetarians: you‘re being fooled here! All but one of the vegan & vegetarian menu options contain fish products as is declared in the menu‘s list of additives. When asked the personnel first wasn’t aware that fish isn’t part of a vegan or vegetarian diet, before they tried to downplay it as a typo. Not very trustworthy. It’s great that restaurant owners are trying to accommodate plant-based food lovers, it’s not a given, but if you do don’t try to fool your trusting customers!

Really a top location! Food, service and ambience were all great. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. The spring rolls are fresh and show you what kind of frozen junk is sold in other places. The service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is modern. In terms of price, Kokono is a bit more expensive than other restaurants. But you get something for your money.

The food was delicious and the service was also very good, but personally I think the Kokono on Ostendstrasse is nicer. Just from the presentation of the plates and the cocktails. But it was still good.

We ordered by phone and picked it up ourselves. Food is highly recommended. Always my pleasure.

The place looks nice and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately our dining experience was still rather disappointing. I will only comment on the sushi as we haven't tried the other dishes. Starter was a small portion, tasted ok but really wasn't that special especially for the price. Our drinks were only filled to half of the glass. The crunchy rolls were overcooked and there was barely any philadelphia in the sushi (you had to open the sushi up just to see the faintest smear of philadelphia). But nothing was uneatable, the taste was ok. The main problem however was the price. The food is absolutely average and they are stingy with some portions yet somehow I am expected to pay prices that could rival central London (100€ for 2 people). In short it's an expensive place which serves average food, trying to impress you with their fancy decoration and way of displaying sushi on a plate so that you forget to look closely at what you are eating and how it tastes. 2 stars because the staff was friendly and helpful, otherwise 1. I would not recommend this restaurant, there are much, much better places in Nürnberg.

I would actually recommend the restaurant 100%, but unfortunately last time we had to wait almost an hour for the food. Our starter didn't come earlier, but shortly after the main course. Unfortunately there was no apology and I don't know what it was. At the other tables around us it was much faster.

Excellent food and friendly service in a stylish atmosphere I had the pleasure of visiting the KoKoNo Nuremberg in Schleifweg and was completely thrilled. Despite its location in an office building, the restaurant surprises with a stylish and inviting ambience. The food was consistently excellent - the sushi in particular was impressive with its freshness, variety and flawless preparation. The other dishes also tasted excellent and left nothing to be desired. Another highlight was the friendly and attentive staff, who made the stay pleasant. A small point of improvement concerns the lighting above the tables: This could be adjusted a little better, as the lamps are sometimes blinding and slightly spoil the cozy atmosphere. Overall, however, a fantastic culinary experience that I can definitely recommend!

We came without a reservation and got a table for exactly one hour. We also ordered food and drinks directly (for four, menu 9 is for 5-6 people). After 60 minutes we asked when the food would come because the table had to be vacated. Here it was discovered that the food was never typed. We were assured that we would get food in 15 minutes, but this again took 60 minutes. The sushi plate (called the boss's sushi creation) consisted of 50% only raw fish, definitely not worth €138 and suitable for a maximum of 3 people - unfortunately absolutely disappointing. There was hardly any sushi variation, we are used to much better in Neu-Ulm. We weren't even asked within 3 hours if we wanted something more to drink. We were each offered dessert as an apology, and then 6 small mochis were brought for everyone (cheesy). All in all, a big, expensive disappointment. No comparison to Neu-Ulm and definitely not a recommendation. We were all waiters at the table ourselves with a lot of indulgence, but this restaurant definitely cannot be recommended.

A well-rehearsed team looked after us quickly and quickly. It took a while for our food to arrive. But it was fantastically tasty and the fish was very fresh. By far the best sushi in recent years. Delicious food that differs nicely from the "uniformity" of many Vietnamese. The papaya salad could have been a little spicier and with more dressing for our taste. The portion sizes left us well fed (warning! The Pho is really big!). The interior looks appealing, only the lights above the tables are unfortunately blinding in the long run. Another positive thing to note is that we easily got a table spontaneously at half past seven on a Friday evening.

Wow, really a beautiful restaurant. Chance of parking in front of the door. I had the surf & turf. It is served with vegetables and half a sweet potato. That whiskey sauce that went with it was divine. Sekts eaten so well. The meat was seared but bloody in the middle. Perfect and juicy. The starters are also sumptuous. The price is upscale. We paid around €70 for two people but it was a wonderful evening. We really liked the atmosphere and the waiters are very friendly. We go there more often now.

Nice restaurant and friendly service, but the price is very high. In my opinion, the sushi hardly differs from other high-quality shops. An iced tea for €6.90-€7.90, not even 0.5l because of a lot of ice, and gyoza and edamame for €7.90 are already awesome. There are also the sushi rolls, some of which cost 15-25€ for 8 pieces and don't really stand out. You won't get enough of it and you have to take 2 different ones. Unfortunately, I can only recommend this restaurant to those who have a little money to spare and want to treat themselves to something, but for us it was the last visit.

Given the restaurant's prices, you can expect free Wi-Fi. Unfortunately I didn't receive a WiFi password because it said it was only for employees. What good restaurant doesn't even have WiFi available? Even fast food restaurants have WiFi for customers. They should offer that in the future. It's not from this time! I waited almost 15 minutes for a simple ginger tea. The cup was sticky even though there was no honey in the tea. Yuck. €3.80 for a small cup of hot water with a few pieces of ginger. Wow. As a starter I ordered soybeans/edamame with salt. Unfortunately they were already cold and had almost no salt on them. So they were tasteless. When choosing the main course, the waitress couldn't tell me what kind of sauce was served with the tofu dish (fried sauce is not the answer! Because all sauces are fried or boiled, that's not the sauce - the question is what's in it), so I decided on the curry dish with duck. The vegetables were good but unfortunately the duck was too tough, like chewing gum even on small pieces you have to chew for a long time. Taste OK but meat too dry. Visually it looked good on one side but the other was through. Service wasn't attentive, didn't ask if everything was OK and didn't ask if you wanted something more to drink. The menu was not offered again whether you would like a dessert or coffee. I don't call it a service that justifies these prices. A polite smile isn't enough either. I've been to two other restaurants from this chain and I've never been as disappointed as I was today. A pity! But I won't be coming back here any time soon.

One of the best restaurants in Nuremberg. The food is a 20 out of 10. The service is just great. In recent years the service in the catering industry in Nuremberg has generally declined dramatically. In Kokono, however, we experienced incredibly friendly, courteous and very attentive staff. The in-house lemonades are an absolute kill. They put all common drinks to shame. Ambiance... please go completely into my apartment please 😄. We are excited.
