I've eaten tantuni here several times before and was always satisfied in the past. But this time I was really disappointed. The tantuni was extremely thin – like a pencil. Of course, a Dürüm doner isn't the same, but in comparison, it's at least three or four times the size. Unfortunately, the taste isn't what it used to be either. Somehow, a lot has changed over time – and unfortunately, not for the better.

The ambiance is nice and simple, the service is excellent, and the tantuni is fantastic! They also have chicken soup now, so we'll be back more often.

The food on offer tastes very good and is freshly cooked daily.

The kokoreç is very good, similar to the one I had in Izmir. The stuffed kokoreç would be great too, you should try it. Please add stuffed mussels to the menu.

I've enjoyed coming here for a long time, but now I've had stomach problems twice after eating here, as has my family. Something has changed here, and unfortunately, we now have to avoid Tarsusi.

I stumbled upon this place when we were in Altona and I was looking for Tantuni. The reviews were initially off-putting, but those are probably written by jealous people or competitors, as most have fewer than five reviews, so they're not worth paying attention to. There were a lot of people sitting outside and inside, so I also got the Tantuni Ekmek... And I can say it's çok lezzet (very tasty). Next time, I'd prefer it in a soft sandwich, but Turks love it toasted. Unfortunately, that makes it quite dry. I prefer it soft and nicely packed with meat juices. I'd go back.

They're open late. Service seemed arrogant to me. €8.50 for a kebab is too much in my opinion.

As a regular customer, it's just disappointing these days. Neither the new staff, the person taking the order (or at least what they know), nor the food are any good anymore. A shame.

I've been a regular customer for a long time, but what's been going on here lately is simply unacceptable. The last ten or more visits have been consistently disappointing, and that's putting it kindly. The staff are consistently rude and sometimes downright rude! Friendliness seems to be a foreign word here!! Even worse, however, is the food: incorrectly served, incorrectly prepared, and taste-wise, a disaster. Hardly any of my orders were executed correctly, and this happens again and again. It really makes me sad to have to say this, but I can no longer recommend this restaurant, even with the best will in the world. This is not how you treat loyal guests. A complete disappointment!

I ate a falafeldürüm and it was definitely one of the best I've ever had. The falafel was homemade and tasted very good. The Dürüm was brought to my place and was beautifully presented. The prices are really fair and the service is great. Small point of criticism: As a vegetarian, I would like a version with haloumi or shepherd's cheese.

Kokorec was not as good as I expected and it was too expensive.

The two of us went to the restaurant and they serve different dishes. We decided on the köfte in bread and I have to admit that was the best köfte in bread that I have ever eaten outside in a restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit. Small shop with space for about 20 people, the employees are nice too. Tip: when ordering things like Tantuni and Köfte, tell them right from the start what you want in them, otherwise everything is always there. Hygiene measures were good.

We were out at night looking for a kebab. There was no kebab, but there was an extremely tasty minced meat dürüm. That was so incredibly delicious. Very simple but with lots of flavor thanks to the fresh ingredients. Absolutely clear recommendation!!

I eat at Tarsusi almost every week. Sometimes even several times a week. The food is very good and you are always warmly welcomed! We recommend the daily changing lunch menu, which is always delicious and really inexpensive. If you miss lunch or go out to eat in the evening, I can highly recommend the Köfte plate or a combination of vegetarian Cigköfte and lentil soup.

Everything is delicious but kokorec prices are far too high and there is far too little meat in it. Why is it more expensive than anything else if it's offal meat???

An impudence Worst service ever. You are hardly noticed. Food was very bad. The lamb was hard to chew because it was so dry. Bulgur is on the menu. But it is not offered. I can't recommend anyone. Will never come again.

This is mainly about grilled meat. And Tarsusi's concept excludes kebab meat dishes in any form. Although this is reflected in the prices, it has an expressly positive effect on the quality of the dishes, which clearly stand out from the average kebab shop food. Keywords like handcrafted or homemade still come to mind. Very fresh, very spicy, very tasty. Service very friendly and calm.

Daily dish a poem. Don't know what the usual snack bar standards are like (fries, burgers, etc.). I spontaneously got a Tantuni sandwich that wasn't exactly cheap, but the price-performance ratio is definitely right. Super tasty, good quality and an extremely filling amount. And after eating I didn't feel like I had eaten something heavy or too much, but felt absolutely fine. Live nearby and that wasn't the last time!

I was very pleased to find such a delicious tantuni in Hamburg. I would recommend it to everyone. I got the same taste in Germany that I had in Turkey. And baked rice pudding on top. Was very good. The attention and kindness of the employees was also very nice. I'll come again.

Falafel in the bread, too little falafel and no tahini sauce but some mayonnaise, which doesn't go well with falafel at all. But the bread was crusty.

I don't understand this store sometimes! You order something and express a maximum of one special request, in my case told twice at the counter: please DO NOT put any sauces on my Cheese K, just put esme on it instead. Thanks! What happens; I watch what's happening while I wait... customers come and get their food before me... I keep watching. Five or six cheese k are prepared for customers in the store. 20 minutes later, I get up and go to the counter. Then the really nice employee says: oh yes, already done. Is Esme on it? Uh no. There's extra. OK. When I get home (1 minute from the store), I unpack everything and see that the portion of fries is not a portion but rather the rest of something that has already been eaten. Köfte lukewarm and the bread was on the grill for maybe 3 seconds...! Honestly, for €15.00 (as a menu)?!, nope. No longer. It's a shame actually. It used to be so good here.

There are only a few options for vegetarians, but the store is probably much more attractive for meat eaters. Had a falafel sandwich. The falafel were crispy and not too dry. However, I thought the sweet sauce in the sandwich was terrible and I wasn't asked what sauce I wanted. Even though I ate on site, I had to get my own cutlery and the service wasn't particularly attentive or friendly. While I was eating, an employee went outside the door to smoke and the smoke wafted in. Overall it was pretty cold inside. Drink prices quite high. I really wasn't that impressed.

€8.50 for Köfte Dürüm with 1 (!) Köfte. It tasted like salad.

I've always been satisfied so far. I love the mix of meat, salad, rice and bread. The portions were larger 😉, but you still feel very full. Regarding the ambience, it is a snack bar and not a 5 star restaurant, logical! I can highly recommend it 😀

Mir hat besonders gefallen, dass das Fleisch nur dezent gewürzt hat. Die Dürüm-Portion hätte allerdings größer sein können. Satt wurde ich nämlich davon -trotz Menü- leider nicht. Wir werden mit Sicherheit nochmal dort essen und andere Sachen probieren. P.s. Ein Kinderhochstuhl wäre mega gewesen!

Bester Adana in Hamburg, auch sonst sehr tolles, leckeres Essen mit einzigartigem Geschmack wie im Urlaub im Süden, eine Bereicherung für Ottensen- eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und freundliche Mitarbeiter- von vegetarischer Falafel (beste sauce ever drin) über meine Leibspeise, tantuni Dürüm und leckere, abwechselnde Mittagsgerichte. Ein Tee nach dem Essen ist Pflicht!
