The quality of the meat left a lot to be desired. The food was also cold.

Ate a kebab here last week, bread was dry and meat tasted a bit buttery and lamby - unfortunately there were a few spots... not so good Got a Dürüm today - it was very tasty, but unfortunately the meat had tough spots again. Update: I was there again 10 days ago and the kebab was excellent, no tendons, very tasty... Unfortunately it seems to be different every day :) Update February 18, 2025: Was eating kebab in the restaurant, there were 2 skewers, a square Yaprak and a round one, which didn't look so good, more like "normal quality", I had nice thin slices of Yaprak on top of the bread, delicious... The contents of the bread were cut thicker, however, and I suspect that this was from the other skewer, because it didn't taste that good. I was a little disappointed, but didn't ask when I left because other people were ordering.

I'm there more often. I think it's the best kebab in Hamburg. Unfortunately for me it was a disappointment 3cm in diameter and not even tightly rolled and why the more expensive than kebab when they pack at least a third less.

For €9.00 (!) I got an average Dürum kebab in such a tiny size that it borders on fraud. What an impudence! The bread was also so dry. A single disappointment.

We saw on TikTok, the best doner kebab in Hamburg is here: LIE. It's incredibly tasteless, I wouldn't recommend it, it's a waste of your money.

Was there the 2nd time. Food was great. Salad, meat, sauces, everything was great. The service is quick, but not very friendly. But thanks to the good skewers, you'll be happy to come back.

The best Yaprak Dönner in whole of Hamburg!

The kebab here is really delicious. The flavor of the beef comes through very well and you can tell that the skewer itself is inserted. A difference like night and day compared to the standard kebab you usually get. However, the rice and salad were not very tasty. The salad in particular tasted a bit bland and no longer fresh. The atmosphere takes some getting used to and the furniture looks as if its best days are long behind it. All in all, a recommendation if you want to eat good kebab that is at least as good as that in Turkey.

A stable kebab a bit overpriced but still works. I tried Iskander and can recommend it 👍🏻 The store is clean and surprisingly has good ventilation.

Fast and friendly service. Eating fresh means being served. Doner meat (yaprak doner) very natural and delicious. Fries crispy and hot, salad fresh and plentiful. I can only recommend it.

Hi guys, I visited this restaurant and ordered a döner dürüm. Unfortunately, the service was terrible, the food was very average, and there were no napkins on the table. The staff were not friendly, and one was rude. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The shop stinks if you sit further back because the smell of the toilet comes up from the basement. We first had to move forward to get away from it. The waiter was very unfriendly. Top shop in Hamburg. Very good kebab. For me it's definitely comparable to the best shops in Berlin. Other dishes are also recommended. Well attended, but didn't wait long. Nice service, tidy and clean store.

I have to be honest and say that I definitely expected more from a yaprak kebab for 8.50. I also went to eat here because of YouTube testers and was disappointed. The meat is delicious, yes, but when you get meat that is already hard because it has been cut off and sitting on the tray for who knows how long, there isn't much you can do with it. I'm not coming back.

This Restaurant really met if not exceeded my expectation. It is really delicious and freshly prepared. You can taste that their kebab is house made and marinated overnight. Also the Baklava is not that sweet. The people are also nice and attentive. The owner was even having a talk with us. Really worth the money.👌🏼🤤

I was there with my family on Saturday. The service was extremely unfriendly. The waiter spoke to me and my children in such a disrespectful tone. And the waiter was very racist. The food arrived completely cold after 30 minutes. The worst store in my entire life!

The kebab was really convincing! The quality of the meat is definitely above average, and the staff was super attentive and friendly.

We drove all the way from Bielefeld to test Holle's recommendation and it was worth it. The meat was otherwise good - the best kebab I've eaten so far. The portion was ok for the price - probably unavoidable with such high quality. So if you'd rather have something good than a lot of food, you're in good hands here. Staff friendly, food was on the table very quickly - atmosphere was very pleasant.

I've been to this kebab shop 3 times so far, the first time I was really convinced because the meat and the combination really harmonized. The next few times I ate there with friends and family to show them this kebab. However, it tasted anything but the same as before, on the one hand I was served a cold kebab and the meat was not cut uniformly, there were thick, almost raw pieces but also thin pieces. For these reasons I can't give too high a rating because I miss the consistency of this store.

This is my first time in Hamburg and this shop was recommended to me. There were 3 of us and we got a mix grill platter for 3 people. The meat was very tasty. You could literally taste the quality of the meat. I'll be back the next time I visit Hamburg!

So if you want to eat a cold kebab, you've come to the right place. Never again ! Tried twice, disappointed twice. The concept and idea is not bad but the implementation was not successful!

I ate a kebab plate here and absolutely loved it! The meat was fresh and juicy, the side dishes were crunchy and the rice was perfectly seasoned. The homemade sauce in particular rounded everything off. The portion was generous and the price-performance ratio is great. Hey Have been there yesterday and was skeptical because at Steindamm it is a bit overpriced and in some stores U really get bad value if U Order a Kebap. Yesterday I had a Kebap for 8.50euro and i was very satisfied. The bread is selfmade and the meat was beef. If you are not used to that taste, it needs time to appreciate it. The Tzatziki Sauce was great, tasted very much like a joghurt and with parsley and not too much garlic. I liked it very much and the portion was very good! I don't recommend many kebabs but this one I can recommend! And we got a tea for free. 4/5 top! Will come again if I'm at main central station! Waiter was also fun and funny.

I needed a reset for my stomach so I stepped in this restaurant. I started with lentil soup which was really good, with the squeeze of a few lemon slices, the soup becomes a medicine for cold weather. It was tasty and fresh, consistency was just like the ones we make at home. To boost my energy intake, I continued with Doner. It is different from those people are used to see in Germany. The way of cooking and taste of food is very similar to that how it’s made in Turkey. Meat, salad, spices were well balanced. It is important to add a hot kick in kebabs, so I felt it in every bite. Finally, I covered all over the food with warm Turkish tea. Considering the overall score of the restaurant on google maps, it is beyond my expectations. Location is very close to Hamburg Hbf, people are friendly and helpful, fast and good service is provided. Absolutely recommended!

I found the restaurant via a YouTube short. The kebab in bread with just tomatoes, onions and parsley was absolutely delicious. I didn't use any sauces and just used lemon juice. Very tasty, I would love to come back

Within 3 minutes of placing my order, I was served my Yaprak kebab plate plus bread basket. I was surprised how quickly it happened. No wonder either: the meat was lukewarm (apparently the meat had long since been cut off the spit and parked). In addition, the bread from the bread basket was cold - as if it had just come from the refrigerator. I was really disappointed and spoke to the waitress about it. My plate went into the microwave once and was warmed up. There are only 2 stars for reheated kebab meat from the microwave. Bad service and poor quality. I'm not coming back and I'm going to competition.

I support it in terms of being a leaf doner. My advice is to reduce the salt of the doner kebab a little, it suppresses the meat taste. Please increase the number of doner leaves throughout Hamburg, factory doner kebab is a bad thing.

We had been looking for a turkish restaurant that served something other than kebab. At Köz we found some traditional turkish "home meals" and had a good vegetable meal. They know how to make aubergine! An excellent place to have dinner before getting on the night train to Stockholm!

Ordered a kebab plate, I wouldn't do it normally. The lamb was salty and after a few minutes cold and tough, just as cold and tough as flatbread that would be brought with you. Maybe a classic kebab would be better. Tzaziki sauce bland and hot sauce only hot. If you mix sauce with meat, you get a salty, spicy, somewhat tzatziki-like, chewy feeling when eaten. Staff a bit neutral, not very accommodating, would recommend takeaway. Salad side was OK, but fresh ayram saved the whole thing. Light, refreshing and very tasty!

The kebab here is simply great - in 4 visits it was incomparably better than the usual standard in Germany! At one point there were small problems with the consistency (slightly gristly and chewy), but the taste was still great. If they manage to keep the quality consistently high, in my opinion they will be one of the very few top kebab shops in Hamburg!

Doner kebab arrived cold. Then there was a little hair in our rice. Some of the meat was raw. We ordered lahmacun yesterday. The others had finished eating, and only then did my Lahmacun arrive, almost lukewarm. The service was overwhelmed. This all still has to sit and be practiced.
