I usually eat at the Turkish restaurant Said. I thought I'd try a different restaurant. The waiter barely spoke German, and the food was poorly presented, and everything was lukewarm! Once, never again!

I had tripe soup, and it was pretty bad. I had the Adana wrap, and it was pretty standard, lacking any specialness or flavor. This place is five times worse than Köz Antep in St. Pauli, but for some reason, its rating is better than that.

I've never eaten such juicy, freshly cut meat, high-quality meat (pounded until juicy) in Dürüm with fresh homemade sauce and fresh vegetables. Quality throughout Germany. I don't usually eat kebabs; they're either too salty or dry, like cardboard. If you like Dürüm kebabs, stop by and leave a review. I'd be interested. They have two locations. Main train station. 👌👍

The homemade kebab is actually quite good, but the rest of the food is simply unloved and poorly prepared. This was the second time I've ordered lahmacun from this shop, and I specifically asked beforehand whether it was freshly made. It wasn't fresh in the end, came after the main course, and was simply a disgrace. When I asked the service staff about it, his reaction was completely indifferent. It's simply a disgrace. In my opinion, the shop is nothing more than a lackluster snack bar. The atmosphere is simply nonexistent. I wonder how anyone can manage to design a shop so ugly and lackluster.

The worst dürüm of my life. €9.50 for a dürüm kebab – and it was truly a disaster. No flavor, no sauce, the meat dry and laced with a strange, unpleasant spice. The bread was tough, the vegetables tasteless and more like rabbit food. Absolutely outrageous for the price; there are many better kebabs in Hamburg, for example, the one near the main train station for €7.50. I really like dürüm, but this was a complete disappointment. Hello, we had dinner at your restaurant yesterday with my friend. The döner meat was very dry and rubbery. We asked for pita bread, but we couldn't taste the meat because of the tomato paste or sauce. Moreover, we asked for the bill. The server was a short, slightly bald, middle-aged man. He added a tip of 2.50 to the bill without my permission, which is very rude.

I went there one weekday evening and ordered a Dürüm doner. It was delicious, maybe not "wow," but definitely above average. The Dürüm bread was pretty standard, but the doner was so well seasoned that you could eat it without any sauce. What I personally missed were the turşu-biber (pickled peppers). The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was decent. I would gladly visit the place again.

I think I've eaten here four times now because the first time I've had the kebab tasted really good with the yaprak meat and the alternatives at that time of day aren't that good either. The last few times I've been served a kebab with COLD MEAT, although this time I made sure that there was still a decent amount of meat on the skewer. But the meat was still cold. At some point your patience really does run out, especially when you're paying €9 for a kebab. This time I mentioned it and got a new kebab. Unbelievably, it was cold to lukewarm again. I just wanted to eat it anyway and not make a fuss and simply never come back. But because I couldn't help shaking my head when the waiter brought the kebab and I tried the meat, he took over the drama, and we ended up arguing loudly in the shop because he thought I should shut up and just eat their food without letting on. So save yourself the visit, especially in the evening.

We discovered Yaprak Döner on YouTube and went there today. We weren't disappointed. The Yaprak Döner Kebab and Iskender Plate were excellent, and the service was very attentive. We were welcome even with a baby in a stroller.

They sell by far the best doner kebab I've ever had in Hamburg. The only choice is a veal skewer, which is traditionally made from pure slices of meat without any minced meat. A doner kebab prepared this way is known as a "Yaprak Doner." The quality of the meat speaks for itself. I personally recommend ordering the "Original Version," which features bread filled with meat, tomatoes, onions, a bit of greens, and chili powder. (My review is based only on the doner kebab and not the entire selection.)

That was the last time I will order anything from this store and I can advise everyone against it. Just because it's yaprak meat doesn't mean it's a good kebab, you have to be able to handle it. Which is clearly not the case here because you just have to look at all the negative reviews and you'll know where you ended up here. And no matter where you look, whether on Lieferando wolt or UberEats, the bad reviews can be read everywhere and people are not wrong or are not liars.

Disappointing customer service at Közantep I recently ate at Közantep in Steindamm and accidentally forgot my Airpods. I called immediately after leaving the restaurant and was assured that my Airpods were safely stored in a drawer. The employee promised that I could pick them up the next day. Unfortunately I wasn't able to come back until a week later and felt safe as I was told the Airpods were still there. However, to my great regret, I was informed that they had disappeared. The boss said that it was my own fault and that the restaurant was not responsible. This experience was extremely frustrating. It's disappointing when a company doesn't stand by its promises and doesn't accept responsibility for lost items. Better customer service and a responsible approach to the situation would be desirable.

The contents of the bread were cut thicker, however, and I suspect that this was from the other skewer, because it didn't taste that good. I was a little disappointed, but didn't ask when I left because other people were ordering.

The best Yaprak Dönner in whole of Hamburg!

The kebab here is really delicious. The flavor of the beef comes through very well and you can tell that the skewer itself is inserted. A difference like night and day compared to the standard kebab you usually get. However, the rice and salad were not very tasty. The salad in particular tasted a bit bland and no longer fresh. The atmosphere takes some getting used to and the furniture looks as if its best days are long behind it. All in all, a recommendation if you want to eat good kebab that is at least as good as that in Turkey.
