I had lunch at this restaurant, and really enjoyed it. I was served by Fayaz, who is very friendly, and courteous. The food portions are big and delicious. I really recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely go back there next time I visit Hamburg.

I had the great pleasure of dining at Saray Köz Turkish Restaurant and I am still overwhelmed by the extraordinary experience I had there. This restaurant stands out from the crowd in every way - be it the atmosphere, the service or the cuisine. Ambiance: As soon as you enter the restaurant you immediately feel welcome and like you are in Istanbul. The furnishings are tasteful and harmonious, a perfect mix of modern design and cozy flair. The lighting is pleasant, the tables are set with attention to detail, and the entire atmosphere invites you to sit back and enjoy the evening. Service: The service was simply outstanding. The entire team is incredibly attentive, friendly and competent. Our waitress welcomed us warmly, was always there without seeming intrusive, and gave us great expert advice on the choice of dishes. Our every wish was met and we never had the feeling that we were just “just another guest”. Eat: What the kitchen conjures up here is really on another level. Each course was a masterpiece in itself – visually and taste-wise. The ingredients were fresh, high quality and perfectly balanced. I would particularly like to highlight the grill plate, which was simply sensational. It wasn't just a dish, but a composition of flavors that harmonized perfectly. The service was also impressive and rounded everything off. Price-performance: The quality of the food and service is worth every penny. You can tell how much heart and passion is put into every detail here. Conclusion: Saray Köz is not just a place to eat, but a place where you feel completely comfortable and immerse yourself in another world. I can fully recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back - next time with even more friends so that they can also enjoy this extraordinary experience.

Service was very short and sloppy. Everyone behind the counter works with rubber gloves and touches the food with them, but doesn't take them off to check out. The money is also handled with it and then it goes back into the salad. Absolutely hygienic for me. Homemade Ayran is advertised on the menu at 0.33. It came out 0.2. I mentioned this when billing. I would see this wrong, it wouldn't be 0.2. (you could clearly see it by the line on the glass) The price was still charged at 0.33. Loading itself is nice. It only drags a lot when you sit in the front.

The food wasn't that bad, and all the staff were friendly, but I was treated differently by one staff member. I was treated noticeably differently from the Europeans sitting at other tables, and I was forced to laugh while making noises. I thought I was the only one who felt uncomfortable, so I asked my companions and they said they felt the same way. In the end, I had no choice but to quickly eat my food and leave due to discomfort. Das Essen war gut, und alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, aber ein Mitarbeiter hat uns gegenüber eindeutig rassistisch gehandelt. Wir haben uns unwohl gefühlt und mussten das Restaurant schnell verlassen.

After a long time, I wanted a good İskender again. If only I had left it. The sauce was standard. The yogurt was good, but the disappointing thing was the bread underneath. It tasted old, which is often the case, but it is usually fried really crispy. Here it just tasted old and barely fried. Unfortunately that ruined the whole taste. The meat tasted ok, but was expecting more. Was a little too greasy. The meze side dishes and the pide that came with it were good. My colleague wasn't impressed with the Lahmacun either. I paid around €24 for homemade ayran. That was ok too, but nothing more. Normally I would have given 2 stars, but the service was very slow. Another star deducted for that. Taste is debatable. You always have to convince yourself!

Unfortunately, totally rude service staff. I gave a 20% tip and just because he supposedly had no more change (although I saw that he had enough money in his wallet) he didn't give me enough change with the words: "I have to give you less, yes" and then he left already disappeared. First of all, I would like to point out that you urgently need a master who knows his job and at least knows how and when to cut doner kebabs. I'm definitely not a gourmet, but at least as a customer, I think I have the right to criticize the döner I ate today. I have never eaten such a rotten doner in my life, it's a shame for the money I paid. The doner was both dry and burnt and also very salty. Normally, it is correct to say such things as they happen, but I hesitated due to the harsh temperament of the waiter friend. If there is an official reading this, I appeal to him/her, please pull yourself together. Don't lower the quality of your brand!! If you claim that your doner kebab is not like that, the proof for me is that I have both proof and witness. I hope you will correct yourself, but I would like to point out again that you have personally hurt me very deeply.

I can only recommend it 👍🏻 There are plenty of kebab shops in the area, but I was looking for a decent Turkish restaurant. As soon as I stopped by, I noticed what a clean and high-quality impression it made. It was the right decision to have dinner there because I received friendly service from the first minute until the last Turkish tea after the meal. There was pleasant instrumental music with an oriental (Turkish) flair playing in the background. The atmosphere with the pictures on the wall took me mentally to Istanbul. After ordering, the appetizer and drink came straight away. After a pleasant period of time, my dinner too. For me personally it was a bit much rice but that's just a minor thing. Afterwards we enjoyed two Turkish teas and left the restaurant satisfied and full ☺️ If I ever find myself in Hamburg again, I will definitely do it again and have dinner there.

We went to Saray Köz this evening and had a fantastic evening! As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed. The service from Lori and Fayaz in particular was exceptional – friendly, attentive and professional. Lori served us like a master 👏. Our goal for the evening was clear: to fight a grill plate for four people and a pide – and what can I say? Mission accomplished! 💪🏾 Not only was the grill plate generously topped, but every single type of meat was grilled to perfection. The side dishes and the fresh pide rounded the whole thing off. The food was simply outstanding and exceeded all of our expectations. There were five of us, we had a great time and we all agreed: Saray Köz completely convinced us. We'll definitely be back! If you're looking for authentic Turkish cuisine, a great atmosphere and first-class service, this is the place for you. 5 out of 5 stars – absolutely recommended!

It was really mid. The service was very nice, but other than that it's just downhill. The restaurant seems cheap because upon closer inspection it is dirty. The food is too much and unfortunately the quality is not right. I would really only recommend the restaurant for quality over quantity. They have the basics, but the finishing touches need to be made now so that it can be completed better on a next visit. Nevertheless, they were nice and we were well served.

Yesterday we had breakfast at Saray Köz with a large group. Neslihan prepared the breakfast and it was simply great! Everything was fresh, delicious and made with a lot of love. The selection from dips, cheese and olives to prepared eggs was particularly great. Neslihan was very friendly and attentive. You can tell that she enjoys her work and that is reflected in the food. I can recommend breakfast at Saray Köz to anyone who appreciates good food and friendly hospitality. Many thanks to Neslihan – we’ll be happy to come back!

We went there with the family for breakfast (all you can eat). Everything was great. Unfortunately the hot dishes were not kept warm. This means that they were on the “cold” plate after frying. I would have liked such warming containers here. But still there is no real point of criticism. The lady, estimated to be in her early mid-50s (presumably the owner), was really friendly. Therefore there are 5 stars in each category. I would recommend it to everyone, no ifs or buts.

While I waited for my friends, I stopped at Saray Köz to eat their kebap. They are generous in the sandwich, the meats overflowed from the bread which was very well toasted! I really liked it! One of the best kebaps I've had in Germany!! The quest for the best kebap is still long (I hope) and I hope to find THE kebap that will capsize my heart like that of my beloved.

- 5 small extremely dry kofta distributed on a large plate - There were 6 of us and we only got two small tzatziki and ezme plates. It's strange when the menu says a menu for every single dish (salad, tzatziki, ezme). Then you could at least divide it humanely between six people. - when I asked for more tzatziki, all I got was “I’ll bring it to you” and then never again - Cutlery had a piece of lettuce on the knife, which made you lose your appetite at the beginning All in all: the food was really bad, and I say that as a Turkish woman.

I have to say it's not worth the visit. The price-performance ratio is in the basement. Service is okay, we were greeted very nicely, but it took a really long time until we got our food. I had wrinkles until we were even served. The Adana Kebab was tasty in itself, but the presentation is not good at all. Two mini slices of Lavaş with half a tomato and pepper? I remembered Saray better. The dips are normal. Chips or cardboard, I have no idea what that was. Personally I like the atmosphere, nice decor and good music. I always wondered why it became so empty here over time, but today it's clear. I'm not saying all of this to bring down the business, it's meant to be constructive feedback for ways to improve.
