Waited 2 hours for the food, which had probably been sitting there for 2 hours already; it was lukewarm and soggy… Never again.

The employee is very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurant manager is the complete opposite. He doesn't have a very pleasant appearance (greasy hair, long unkempt beard, and unfortunately, he smells very strong... :( )

The food was delicious. The server, Mr. Jane, was very unfriendly, unprofessional, and unkempt. Otherwise, a great place.

And again no chicken, strange that there's nothing available at 6 pm.

Today, I had the worst currywurst of my life at a wooden spoon. The sausage was only slightly attached on one side, and all the other sides were uncooked. The place was cold and completely uncomfortable.

Customer feedback about my visit to Kochlöffel Eckernförde: On Friday, October 3, 2025, at approximately 6:10 p.m., I visited your restaurant in Eckernförde (Kieler Straße) and ordered a bratwurst with mustard and a bread roll, a large fries with ketchup, and croquettes. Unfortunately, both the bratwurst and the fries were very oversalted. I politely pointed this out at the counter, but received no assistance or suggestion for a solution. The conversation with a member of staff/contact (blonde hair) was unfortunately not very customer-oriented. For more than €12, I expect an enjoyable meal and at least a sympathetic ear for justified criticism. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your complaint management – ​​in the interest of your customer satisfaction.

I was here today at 7:30 p.m. I wanted to order at the counter and wasn't noticed until very late (and that's for fast food). I ordered a currywurst and fries with mayo. The portions were very manageable. I could see the bottom of the fries, and the sausage was more torn, and there was very little sauce. There was still a hard skin on top. Not for me, but I wouldn't recommend it at all. Never, ever. On top of that, you touch everything with your fingers, and the employee was constantly running her hands through her hair. 🤮 Embarrassing!

The atmosphere is great... unfortunately, that's about it. Nice, open-minded people who know how to run a place like this and prepare food are unfortunately missing. A shame

I'm very disappointed. I wanted to redeem the "Schlemmerblock" voucher book with my children today, but I was given a rude response: "We don't do that. We've had a new owner since December." Great, the Schlemmerblick is valid from December 2024 to December 2025... I'm really disappointed by the rude response and the behavior.

We were there on August 26th. We were not served very nicely; the young man was very, very unfriendly. I had the feeling he didn't want to serve customers, and he made it clear to us. It wasn't OK.

This is the second time I've received a dry, over-grilled half chicken, even though I specifically requested a chicken that wasn't over-grilled or had been stored for ages. So: no more Kochlöffel Eckernförde (shame, it used to be a great place).

It couldn't get any worse, and this is the case again. Burgers and currywurst were sloppy, saturated with fat, and barely edible. Small portions and obviously overwhelmed staff. Never again.

"Wow" on the outside, "Yuck" on the inside...! Kochlöffel has truly transformed itself and could be a great German fast food alternative. However, the service – whether at the cash register or in the dining area – leaves much to be desired. The tables are dirty, and you don't even want to leave the floor. There's definitely a lack of motivation and commitment to running this place. There were three people there at the time, and the place wasn't very busy. More could definitely be done here. The food was okay, but the products weren't properly separated, as meat was found in our fries, which is a no-go for vegetarians or even vegans. It's a shame, because it used to be a true institution.

***Never again!!!!*** On Sunday, around 7 p.m., I ordered a meal with half a chicken. After paying, I was given a pickup number, 346. An elderly man in a wheelchair was already standing at the counter. After a very long wait, I watched as what appeared to be my order was handed to the man in the wheelchair. He placed the bag on his "lap." The manager then said to the other employee, "He can go now!" When I asked if it was number 346, I was ignored by the employees. Then, presumably the store manager, took the order away from the elderly man. The chicken bag was then repeatedly squeezed and "touched" from the outside by the manager and the other employee. It turned out that there were two half chickens inside. One of them was then taken out and thrown back onto the grill. There it lay, fallen apart. Then the bag was crumpled up again and thrown into the paper bag. I was supposed to receive my order. I found the whole handling of the food unhygienic and unappetizing! I expressed this, after which the store manager, totally annoyed and rude, said, "I won't get my money back until all the other people's orders are ready!" Then he left me standing there for about 8 minutes. The entire store seemed unclean to me. The employees seemed completely overwhelmed, and the workflow seemed unprofessional and chaotic. The store manager then told the employee that he couldn't take care of everything himself; he couldn't be everywhere. The employee should be able to finish the order. I was in the store for about 30 minutes and left without receiving any food. I wasn't offered a replacement or found a customer-friendly solution! I've been a customer of Kochlöffel Eckernförde for over 40 years! ***Never again!!!***

Ugly shop, looks very run down. The staff are absolutely the worst. They treated me as if I had a severe disability. The food took a very long time and in this case that is not an indication of quality; it also tasted horrible.

Super delicious and friendly service! I've been to Kochlöffel in Eckernförde several times and I'm always impressed. The food is always freshly prepared, especially the chicken thighs and currywurst. The fries are also nice and crispy. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and quick – even when it's busy, you get prompt service. The branch is clean and cozy, perfect for a quick break in the city center. I'll definitely be back!

So since the store changed hands, you should really avoid this place with the new owners! I haven't experienced anything so rude and unprofessional in a long time. They definitely have no idea what they're trying to sell, which is a shame because you felt much more comfortable with the old owner. What the new owners are doing is completely unacceptable 👎.

I ate here today. The restaurant was quite full, so it was a bit loud. A man in a shirt advised and served me very politely and professionally. The food was very good, but one of the other customers was very annoying because he yelled at the young man for what felt like an eternity because he didn't agree with the price of the food. I would come again, though.

Extremely unfriendly employees who aren't even able, or don't feel able, to take an order and instead count the change on the counter in front of the customers. When the food arrived, it stank and was barely edible... Never again.

Staff very friendly. Food was okay. Only the fries could have used a bit more salt. Tables were sticky, tray carts very full. Prices quite confusing. 2 medium meals €25.08, quite expensive. Update 2 years later... Unfortunately, a total disaster... Staff completely overwhelmed... I stood at the cash register for a full 15 minutes before I was served... orders from the terminals obviously take priority here. But if new kitchen staff are being trained at the same time, and on a public holiday when Eckernförde is already in a funk, then it can't work. The toilet was completely filthy. So, to sum it up after 2 years, I would only give it one star.

Finally open again! New and very friendly team. The food was also very good and the price was right. Very good, keep up the good work.

I ordered these French donuts from the menu and can't recommend this place to anyone. The donuts were terrible, full of oil, not fluffy, and smelled very unpleasant. Therefore, I can't recommend this place either. As for the price, they're very expensive and not worth it. You could eat at McDonald's or KFC for that money.

Was served by a very nice young man with a beard, food was very tasty and the price is okay, all in all a great shop, nice that it is open again, will be back

Diese Filiale ist fast 40 % teurer als der Kochlöffel in Schleswig oder Rendsburg. Der Betreiber hat auch in Kiel oder Lübeck die Filialen von kochlöffel und auch dort diese Mondpreise. Grosse Pommes mit doppelt majo 7,5 €. Das ist unverschämt...

This was our second time in Eckernförde at Kochlöffel. The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean. Unfortunately we didn't like the food - Im Veg. Burger is some additive that feels unpleasant on the tongue (glutamate!?)... The fries were soggy. The cheeseburger didn't taste good either. It's all a matter of taste - but somehow disappointing to be in the upper price segment for such quality.

I have rarely eaten so badly. Outrageous price for a currywurst with fries. The currywurst is a normal bratwurst in xs size and the fries were anything but tasty. Over-salted and also a really mini portion. My husband wasn't full and I didn't want to finish my salty portion of fries. Price-performance ratio is simply bad! We also waited 20 minutes and the store wasn't even well attended. We won't be coming back again and are annoyed that we didn't eat the currywurst with fries at the Christmas market.

I ate the Star Burger and now I'm inventing time travel to relive that moment again and again.

Went to the Kochlöffel today, ordered via terminal, unfortunately you can e.g. For example, don't deselect the onions on the veggie burger. So I was told straight away “without onions”. Came with onions of course! Complained and got a new one after a long time. It didn't taste great though, they used to be better when they were breaded and crispy and didn't have that nasty ketchup on them. In addition, the thing slips apart when you eat and you get your hands really dirty. Currywurst and fries were okay. When asked what a "red currywurst is", 3 out of 4 employees were overwhelmed because they had no idea and had problems communicating. The “one toilet for everyone” solution is also not optimal if one person uses the toilet, no one else can get in. I will only use Kochlöffel if nothing else is available.

We ate there on September 6th, 2024 and everything was very tasty. Price for 3 half chickens, fries and cola is acceptable. Would eat there again if we were there again. Lots of love from Ebendorf

World's best chicken, delicious fries.

It was my first time there and I have to say that there's no need to hide behind McDonald's or Burger King. On the contrary, the burgers were great, as were the onion rings and the fries. You can order and pay using the modern terminal.

The burgers are ok, the chicken is often quite fatty. But every time I order something, something is missing or the wrong thing is packed.

We stopped there spontaneously on Monday. The branch is super centrally located in the passage. Ordering went quickly at the terminal, employees were very friendly and the burgers were delicious. Price was also reasonable.

We ate there after visiting the beach. And we say: once and never again! The good thing first: the fries were okay, except for the mini dollop of mayonnaise! Normally I wouldn't give a star... My daughter and I had stomach pains after eating and I also had nausea, which prevented me from sleeping and unfortunately the stomach pain still persists the next morning. I had to clean the toilet on site so that we could even use it! On the floor and in the sink, there were shreds of towels torn off to dry your hands, dirt everywhere you looked, whether on the sink, urinal or the toilet itself! Also on the soap dispenser... Just disgusting. There is only one toilet that ALL guests use. The shop itself is beautifully set up with the tables and the small children's corner. However, it is also super dirty and it doesn't seem to be cleaned properly! The floor was full of sauces and leftover food. The employees were nice. A positive point! As I said, that was our first and last visit there.

Order was given to other customers... felt completely overwhelmed shortly after the store opened... after all, after half an hour of pointless waiting, the money was returned! Conclusion: Not a second time for me!

Unfortunately I can only give this 2 stars. You get a touch of mayonnaise with a large french fry. Burgers and nuggets really very dry. Vegetarian burger was tasteless, in my opinion it lacked sauce and seasoning. The prices have risen considerably and are sometimes really high for the amount. The employees are friendly and helpful.

We (4) were also looking forward to currywurst, fries and cola. We also froze in front of the ordering machine and the prices!!! We also received an old, dried-out currywurst ala Freddy Krüger. When I complained, I first received a shrug of the shoulders, then an offer of a new sausage. No thanks. As a nice gesture, I was offered a voucher at the end. OK! But we had lost our appetite. There will be no broad recommendation from us.

The welcome and advice was super friendly. Thanks for that! Someone is having fun at work. We were there with the gourmet block and easily received two menus for the price of one. The vegetarian citizen was very tasty. Real vegetables and not that cheap soy protein or pea stuff you get elsewhere. The fries were hot, half the chicken was good. If we are in Eckernförde again, we will come back.

Always keep an eye out for discount coupons lying around. The fries are not a hit there.

Cozy restaurant with delicious food. Burgers, wings etc better than at MCD or BK. Highly recommended!!! As well as a very nice young tall man behind the counter. Who prepares the food and takes the orders! I always enjoy coming back here.

It's a real shame, I always enjoyed eating there, now for the 2nd time in a week I called shortly before 8 in the evening and there are no more half chickens. The reason why you actually call Kochlöffel 😑 and then they don't set up any more, which is a shame...

Wir wurden sehr nett und prompt bedient. Haben uns für ein Hähnchen Menü entschieden und konnten die Zubereitung verfolgen. Es wirkte ordentlich, sauber und professionell. Die Gerichte wurden uns sogar an den Tisch gebracht und alles schmeckte gut. Einen Punkt ziehe ich ab, da zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuches die Toilette nicht zugänglich war und auf die öffentlichen Toiletten gegenüber verwiesen wurde.

What a disappointment. The price-performance ratio is catastrophic. I paid almost €16 for two small chicken drumsticks and mini fries fried to death and a non-carbonated cola. There was also a dollop of mayo from the tube. Here you get cheap frozen goods at the highest price. Everything tastes like fat. There is no difference in taste between fries and chicken. For the same price I get a star menu at KFC. There was only a retired couple in the store next to me. And that at lunchtime. An atmosphere like a funeral. No more wooden spoons.

I ordered for delivery. Food arrived 20 minutes late and was cold. Fries stuck together and looked like they had been in the fryer the day before yesterday and tasted like that too. Price performance ratio is terrible. 28€ for a menu and an extra burger?!

€9.99 for a cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The taste was ok, but no more... The chicken I ordered was so dry that I could only get it down with cola. With such a price/performance ratio, another visit is no longer an option.

The cleanliness of the tables, the floor and the staff's shirts leave a lot to be desired. In addition, no gloves are worn when making the burgers. All of this meant that I didn't really enjoy my moderately well-done currywurst with fries today. I probably won't come back.

Mittags zum Kochlöffel...einmal im Urlaub muss es sein!!! Angekommen, war nicht viel los. Nur wusste man nicht ist man nun dran, kann man was bestellen. Die Dame im Service, schaute derartig unmotiviert und verschlafen drein. Also gefragt, sind wir dran? - Keine Antwort! Nochmals gefragt, können wir was bestellen...Da kam doch tatsächlich ein "Ja!"... Wenn der Service, bzw. die Mitarbeiter so dermaßen unmotiviert und unfreundlich sind, man möchte eigentlich wieder gehen.... Das Essen wurde schnell zubereitet und war geschmacklich okay...

Essen gut für Kochlöffel Nur ich hab mir 2 Bürger bestellt nur ein bekommen und der Mann vorne meinte ich hätte den nicht bezahlt die Mitarbeit wollen ihren Profit aus den Gästen schlagen traurig !

Das Essen war ok wie vom Kochlöffel erwartet. Bedingungen war freundlich. Leider war noch viel Schmutz vom Vortag im Restaurant Müll wird direkt zwischen der spielecke und Sitzplatz entsorgt das könnte schöner machen.

Wir waren heute bei Kochlöffel Eckernförde essen . Und die Mitarbeiter können nicht lesen. Wir haben 2 Burger mit Bacon bestellt war nicht drauf darauf hin haben sie 2 mit Bacon gemacht und der war roh Die Mayo war sauer und der Mitarbeiter dauernd am Handy und raus gelaufen & die blonde Dame hinter dem Tresen dauernd an ihren Haaren gespielt Mayo war schlecht wie eben beschrieben meine Frau hat seit gestern Magenprobleme und Durchfall…!!!!!!!!! Leute gibt euer Geld lieber wo anders aus !!!

Als Kochlöffel Fan kann ich sagen das diese Filiale wirklich gut geführt ist. Sie ist sauber, das Personal ist sehr nett, und das Essen ist immer heiß und frisch gemacht gewesen. Da es Kochlöffel nicht sehr oft gibt, kann ich jeden der einen guten und bezahlbaren Burger zu schätzen weiß nur empfehlen wenn er mal in Eckernförde ist dort einfach reinzuschauen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe gegeben, und im Anschluss kann man noch nett durch die Innenstadt bummeln.

2 x "Was für alle was" Bestellt. Burger, pommes, chicken wings Matschig. Burger ein Gaumengraus. Schlechte Adresse für ein Urlaubssnack. Lieferung war zudem Unvollständig. Ein schlechter Burger hat gefehlt.

Ich war gerade beim Kochlöffel in der kielerstrasse in Eckernförde, Tische abwischen erst nach Aufforderung, das Essen halt wie fast Food, Personal hat überhaupt keine Lust gehabt irgendwas zu machen erst nach erneuter Aufforderung, ich wollte ein Mineralwasser bestellen und das sollte über 4 ( vier ) Euro kosten. Der Laden ist grottenschlecht … so nach dem Motto: jetzt kommen schon wieder Kunden und wollen was von einem….. Sorry aber der Eindruck bleibt halt. Kurzum: nicht zumutbar !!!

Guter Imbiss in der Fußgängerzone. Der Service ist freundlich und es geht auch ohne Automaten - Bestellung. Das Essen hat gute Imbiss- Qualität. Ein Stern Abzug für die nicht ganz optimalen Pommes. Zu empfehlen ist das Hähnchen- Menü oder auch das Currywurst- Menü. Die Preise sind auch hier etwas gestiegen, aber noch okay. Fazit: für eine kleine Stärkung zu empfehlen.

Mir persönlich schmecken die "Burger" nicht. Brötchen ,Soße Bulette.... dafür noch über 4-8. € verlangen. Andere Ketten bieten da wesentlich mehr für den Preis.

7,50 € für eine kleine Currywurst und eine kleine Pommes frites. Das ist oberste Preiskategorie für durchschnittliche Qualität. Da gewöhnt man sich das Auswärtsessen mit Freude ab.

Leider alles sehr dreckig. Sowohl der Boden als auch die Tische. Die Nuggets waren hart und die Pommes total versalzen. Freundlicher Service ist auch anders. Leider nicht empfehlenswert.
