Koch am Markt in Iserlohn

1 star is already 1 star too many! What I just experienced here leaves me absolutely stunned. I wanted to go for lunch with my children and a friend, we sat down outside only to be turned away from the restaurant by a man within seconds because my children (4 years old!!) had put their drinking bottles on the table when they arrived. I'm still speechless - you rarely experience so much customer and child hostility!!! I recommend STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. The food can be too good, but if humanity is missing it's over.

Here customers are thrown out if they don't like the burnt meatball.

Went to Koch at the market today and I have to say, if you like insults, insults and being thrown out by the boss... you've come to the right place. Were there with 5 people and consumed drinks (no alcohol) and food. Until the boss came and wanted to cash in IMMEDIATELY with the announcement: otherwise we would have been somewhere else and from now on we would be banned from the house!!!!!! With really bad swear words. I didn't even know the gentleman before. We are all a bit older and were quite taken aback by such behavior!!!!! NEVER COOK AT THE MARKET AGAIN

A nice little pub in the middle of the city. It's more for the older age groups (like me). Nice place to chat over a beer - if you're hungry, you'll find something here too 🍽 One of the far too few pubs in the city center. I can only encourage all readers to take a look from time to time

Full points because it is still a regular pub that hardly exists today. Lt. a certificate from Krombacher for over 40 years. So there are guests who take it as it is. Rough but warm. He has survived Corona, he struggles with the steep stairs. Respect for the couple who keep the last local pub alive. If you want system catering, you have to go a few meters further. Today we had kale, Mettwurst, fried potatoes or Klass. Roast pork, bread dumplings, red cabbage. Feed like mothers. The reviews aren't that high because the old regulars enjoy instead of reviewing. I've only lived in the region for 3 years but being a cook at the market is a must.

Wolfgang's shop is running. A landlord walks through us. His wife is the cook in front of the gentleman. We'll be back there soon. I'm looking forward to it.

The 1 star is already too much. The two of us were there today at around 1:15 p.m. We would like to eat something. As soon as we were through the door, the "friendly" landlord told us that they were closed. We were a little surprised, the shop was well stocked and the opening times "Saturdays until 6 p.m." were clearly visible on the window... . We ask ourselves what's the point?? We ask ourselves, is it no longer necessary? Customer friendliness looks different! If the gentleman no longer needs it, he'd better retire! How did he manage to keep this store for so long with his style? We know for sure that he won't see us anymore. PS: when I look at the other reviews, we're not the only ones who think like that.

I will definitely never enter this restaurant again. I just wanted to have an “after work beer” with my colleagues and was expelled from the restaurant by the landlord before we could even sit down. Why? We pushed two tables together without asking the landlord. This has never happened to me (57 years old). This person is completely wrong in his job!

Extremely unfriendly host. He's probably already earned enough!

You can't get most of it on your fork and the landlord is very unfriendly so it's better not to go there anymore

Die Chefin und der Chef sind sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt immer sehr gut. Ein frisch gezapftes Bier schmeckt auch immer. 🍺😊

Ich fand die Portion extrem klein. Bin danach was essen gegangen.
