Ich gehe sehr gerne dorthin, besonders mit meinem Hund, denn dort gibt es auch einen freundlichen Hund! Außerdem ist das Essen wirklich gut und die Angestellten sind sehr nett. Wir haben dort immer eine tolle Zeit!

Wir haben hier eine Goldene Hochzeit gefeiert und waren rundum begeistert. Der Service war ausgezeichnet – aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Auch das Essen hat uns sehr überzeugt und war von hoher Qualität. Kaffee und Kuchen waren ebenfalls sehr lecker, und das Eis hat besonders gut geschmeckt. Für Familien mit Kindern ist das Restaurant bestens geeignet. Der Außenbereich ist schön gestaltet und bietet Kindern viel Platz zum Spielen und Entdecken. Insgesamt ist es ein Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen, in dem man gerne Zeit verbringt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren im Zuge einer Hochzeitsgesellschaft hier. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Location ist sehr schön und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Dennoch vergebe ich nur 3 Sterne, da der Hund von den Besitzern des Lokals ständig frei rumgelaufen ist. Auch zu unserer „geschlossenen Gesellschaft“ ist er reingelaufen und unter den Tisch zwischen allen Beinen gelaufen. Ich persönlich mag keine Hunde und es kann ja auch sein das ein Gast eine Allergie gehabt hätte. Das hat mich wirklich sehr gestört! Ich kann allerdings nicht beurteilen, ob das immer so ist.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal da und komme definitiv wieder. Nach dem Wandern bekommt man hier genau das Richtige. Ich hatte ein schön ausgebackenes und dünn geklopftes Schnitzel „Jäger“ Art mit Spinat Knödel. Schmeckte Super lecker und frisch, kein TK. Das Personal ist super freundlich und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Das Restaurant ist nett eingerichtet und der Außenbereich ist im Sommer bestimmt auch schön.

Our children, who live in Wiblingwerde, invited us. We drove to the forester's lodge together in the evening. It was impressive, even the drive there alone. Arriving at the forester's lodge was simply fantastic. Very friendly service, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere. It certainly won't be the last time we're there. Thank you very much.

We were on a hike today and stopped at the Forsthaus again. It was once again incredibly beautiful and incredibly delicious. And the service is simply excellent. We're already looking forward to the next time.

I wanted to have a piece of cake around 3 p.m. today. The weather was nice, but I wasn't given a very friendly welcome. Especially in this weather, the selection should have been available by now. Otherwise, the restaurant is very nice, but the cake selection was gone.

A very nice restaurant surrounded by nature; we did have to wait a while for our food, but the super friendly service made up for it! My portion wasn't that big, but the chef brought me the same amount again at no extra charge! Credit where credit is due 😀 Bottom line: we'd gladly go back 💯%

A holiday feeling at the Forsthaus Löhen Pleasantly surprised to find such a great restaurant in the Iserlohn area. After a hike with our dog, we stopped here (we had reserved a table a good week and a half ago). The tables inside were lovingly set and decorated. The food was delicious. A relaxed atmosphere; you should take your time here to simply unwind and enjoy the moment. A beautiful view of the beer garden. Seven waiters look after guests (on Sundays). The atmosphere has a Bavarian touch, including freshly tapped beers (König Ludwig dark), a delight. We will definitely be back. A visit to the beer garden would be perfect in the summer to escape everyday life and unwind! Pack a good mood and bring some time with you; it's worth it!

I would just like a bit more selection of cakes and ice cream, as well as one or two dishes that are truly suitable for summer—for example, a crisp salad or a cold cucumber soup. I just drank a delicious coffee myself. The waffles were "off". Unfortunately, it was no longer possible to mix the dough because the ingredients were no longer available. It was a busy weekend that weekend! But all the dishes around me looked appealing and people mentioned a "YUM" Price-performance is absolutely ok. There are no exorbitant prices here. Nice, cozy atmosphere.

When the sun is shining in the sky, the forester's house is a paradise. When it rains, just comfortable. Hand-made food of very good quality, friendly service and a wide range of selected beers, which do not consist of the usual industrial halls of the otherwise inflationary, tasteless Pörren brewed with turbo yeast. Beer garden - feeling on a Bavarian level in the Sauerland. Rare enough. Everything wildly romantic and with great attention to detail around the house and inside. This is how I imagine a “second living room”. It's good for me that it's difficult for me to reach my home within walking distance; the temptation to "sink" would be great.

Beautifully located in the Iserlohn Forest in the Lägertal. At lunchtime there are rustic places outside on hard wooden chairs (cushions often provided) in the sun, but these disappear earlier due to the tall trees all around. Dishes that I have eaten here so far (liver cheese, schnitzel) are served in large portions in a rustic style. Together with, for example, a wheat, a complete enjoyment in the beautiful nature. It can take some time until orders are served, but you should just take your time and allow your soul to relax. It's worth it. The guest rooms inside are very decorative and comfortably furnished. Simply to feel good.

That was probably nothing! We were there on our bikes today. Actually a great location, with a wonderful beer garden under old trees, a good menu with delicious small and large dishes, something for everyone. But unfortunately the probably changing staff is not at all on their toes! There were at least 4 different waitresses walking around in the front beer garden area who seemed to be deliberately “overlooking” us, as well as other newly arrived guests. At the next table you probably knew a waitress personally, because things were quick there and they were given priority service. Meanwhile, the colleagues cleared various tables and settled accounts with the guests, but none of them had the idea of, for example, taking an order in advance in the same way (clearing the dishes). It would have been efficient too. No, they ran in with the dishes and came out again after a while. In any case, we weren't served; we grabbed the menu ourselves from the neighboring table after a while. Finally, after about 40 minutes of waiting, we left without eating anything. And although it was well attended, it wasn't so full that you could call it stressful. The staff may be friendly and nice, but it is by no means professional. What use is the best chef and the most delicious dishes if the service staff is inattentive and doesn't even know the simplest basic rules? I'm sorry for this review, but without criticism nothing usually changes... Maybe we'll come back again, but this was the second time we've been disappointed here... Get well soon to the innkeepers! Today, almost exactly a year later, we are experiencing exactly the same thing! We wanted to stop after a bike ride. The tables in the beer garden were about half full, so not very busy. We are once again deliberately “overlooked”, just like other guests. WHAT'S GOING ON HERE???? Do you no longer need it? One of the waiters goes to a table, just takes their order, goes back in, and comes out a short time later with only 1 beer!🙈🧐Where did the man learn his job? There are at least three other tables waiting for the waiter. Efficiency is different... Anyway, after waiting for 20 minutes we left. It's sad that so little professionalism is shown at such a beautiful location. There would have been a lot more here... And the fact that nobody seems to read the reviews says a lot!😢

Nach langem mal wieder im Forsthaus gegessen. Doch leider diesmal sehr enttäuschend. Das Schnitzel war noch annehmbar mit der Champignons Sauce doch Bratkartoffeln im völlig Öl schwimmend ohne Speck und ohne Zwiebeln .Dazu einen wohl nicht selbst gemachten Krautsalat.

First of all: As a professional DJ (DJ Lauschgift) for weddings and company events, I travel all over Germany. So I want to claim that I have developed a good feeling for service, quality and something special. I like the Forsthaus Löhen. All year round, the Tenne is a perfect place to celebrate. In winter you can sit on furs with the fireplace behind you and in summer the outdoor area is also ideal for larger celebrations. As a DJ, I even have the opportunity to set myself up so that I can celebrate either in the threshing floor or outside. If it is too cold outside, it can be changed within 2 minutes so that dancing can continue in the threshing floor. At the Forsthaus Löhen you can party outside until the early hours of the morning. To be honest, I don't know where that's even possible these days. Here the boss is personally at the grill and conjures up a good and varied buffet where even vegetarians get their money's worth. Even though I don't drink alcohol while working, I noticed the many types of Bavarian beer that you can order there. Located in the middle of the forest with a barbecue buffet and lots of Bavarian beers, you feel completely disconnected from everyday life. With sturdy shoes, Löhen can also be easily reached on foot from the city train station. Whether as a DJ or a guest, I always enjoy being there.

Really chic location in the forest. Great ambience and great service. It was still 3 minutes until closing time and we still got something to drink. Half an hour after work we were asked if we wanted anything else. Ordered again and paid directly. We should leave everything behind when we leave. I would definitely come back again.

Wir haben das Gasthaus bei einer Wanderung durch den Iserlohner Wald als Rast aufgesucht. Wegen des guten Wetters war der Biergarten geöffnet. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns einen freien Platz zugewiesen. Neben Bier zu einem angemessenen Preis hatte man die Wahl zwischen Kuchen oder herzhaften Snacks oder auch Hauptgerichten. Wir hatten ein Schmalzbrot und Bockwürste. Bei der nächsten Wanderung werden wir wiederkommen!

Was there today It was very crowded and we had to wait for a seat Then we ordered. My schnitzel wasn't quite cooked through and not the best. Potato chips very tasty and crispy!! A meal came 10 minutes later after we asked once. Service was actually quite nice, but the tables were often crooked. The menu was manageable, but the dishes sounded quite tasty. My Cola tasted a bit topped up with water. Worth going if you've been hiking or cycling!

Unfortunately no salads or pasta dishes (except cheese spaetzle) on the menu. Pretty heavy food for hot days. Addendum dated 04/28/24 Ordered mustard soup and it came to the table cold. The bread that came with it was old, 2 sausages with potato salad from the package for 9.90 are too expensive. The whole drama was fun to watch. People could only order after a long wait, and the food would then arrive at the tables incomplete. There is no response to criticism here either.

Bring a long wait. After about 30 minutes of waiting, the card came. Waited 55 minutes for drinks. Some orders were forgotten. Small snacks such as: Cakes arrived after 70 minutes. We had to ask three times for an ashtray. Ambiance is great, but it's just not worth it.

Unsere Wandergruppe mit 15 Personen war insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Also klare Empfehlung, trotz oder gerade weil „volles Haus“ und damit ausgelastet. Wir kommen wieder, keine Frage … !

Lecker und gerne wieder. Das Essen hat uns allen geschmeckt und war auch reichhaltig. Der Haushund hat uns ordentlich begrüßt, und nachdem er seine Kuscheleinheit abgeholt hatte, war er dann auch zufrieden und hat sich zurück gezogen.

Die Natur ringsum ist traumhaft, was dem gesamten Etablissement zugute kommt. Die Service ist freundlich und kompetent. Die Sanitäranlagen sind gut erreichbar und sauber, befinden sich allerdings draußen im Anbau. Das Essen ist gut, jedoch gibt es kaum bis keine vegan intendierten Gerichte. Insgesamt vier von fünf möglichen Sternen.

Einen tollen Geburtstag gefeiert. Lokation ist einfach super und urgemütlich, das Essen einfach super.
