Koc Döner Welt in Düsseldorf

These nasty people spat in my döner kebab; there was an orange hair in it, and the döner tasted like bubblegum. Shame on you! I'll be filing a food poisoning complaint soon.

I visited 12 countries and over 50 cities. For the first time, I ate falafel—for 8.50 euros! When I got home, I opened the bag just to see if the falafel had been washed with gold water—like at Chef Nusret's restaurant! Unbelievable.

Today I was at Koc Döner Welt in Bilk on Kronprinzenstraße. I didn't know there was a second shop in Bilk besides Holthausen. As with my first review, I gave it full marks. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The doner (chicken) is super delicious and unparalleled in Düsseldorf. The meat and salad are super fresh and absolutely plentiful. The bread is very crispy. Undoubtedly the two best doner kebabs I've ever eaten in Düsseldorf. You can taste and feel that everything is still prepared with passion here. I'd be happy to go back anytime. I highly recommend Koc Döner Welt.

The chef is extremely friendly, the bread is fluffy and slightly crispy, the meat is very tender, wonderfully seasoned, and the salad is generous! At the end, they even add extra meat to the kebab! Highly recommended, great taste and great value for money! (Kebab + Coke for €9.80) IMPROVEMENT: The bread should be grilled longer to make it really crispy, and the garlic sauce needs more spice and flavor!

I can 100% recommend Döner Welt. We went there yesterday on a recommendation because we had a job nearby. All the staff were very friendly, and the food was simply amazing. The value for money is unbeatable. We'll be back.

I am 30 years old, all over Turkey. I have eaten good doner kebab in the east, west, south and north. I have never eaten such a delicious bread sandwich in my life. We ate excellent delicious chicken doner. We said we liked spicy and left the ingredients to the master. A delicious taste I will never forget.

I can honestly say that it is the best kebab I have ever eaten in Germany. Everyone I recommend it to becomes a regular. They do their job well.

I've been looking for a good kebab shop nearby for a long time. I just walked past here again and again and was there for the first time yesterday. What is important to me is that it is tidy and clean and that my favorite things are offered (including the salads/vegetables for the kebab such as good red cabbage). I also think it's important that the kebab is filled correctly for me. First smear the sauces into the bread, then meat, etc. Everything was implemented exactly the way I like it, without addressing it beforehand. I posted a photo of the kebab. Another plus point, very often the bread breaks completely and the kebab falls apart. Didn't happen to me here. Next time we will order a filled lahmacun. From what I saw, they are freshly prepared here. The only drawback is that you can't generally pay by card, but only from €8, which you can quickly add up, depending on what you order. I would still like to have a kebab skewer with really good meat on it, but unfortunately you rarely find that. I can definitely recommend Koc Döner Welt and look forward to my next visit.

A good kebab shop where you can get a classic and solid kebab. The quality is always consistently good. The prices are normal. Here you can get the classic veal and chicken kebab, also as Dürum or Lahmacun. Salad as usual: onion, tomato, cucumber, iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, a large selection of sauces, but you can also choose roasted vegetables, sheep's cheese and lemon. For dessert there is baklava. There are also pide, falafel and snack dishes such as fries or chicken nuggets. The shop is rather small, many customers like me often quickly grab something to take away. It's clean here and everything is neatly structured, the furnishings look chic. The employees are friendly. For example, it's not the 100% homemade Yaprak skewer, but you still get a solid kebab here. Thank you 😃

Standard minced doner... meat wasn't crispy, sauces were very tasty, red cabbage was unfortunately extremely sour and stole some of the taste. It's absolutely not a bad kebab but not much more than a standard kebab either. Staff was completely correct 👍🏽
