Haus des Döners in Düsseldorf

I don't usually go to Turkish places in Europe, especially not around train stations, as I don't trust their cleanliness at all. But this place was spotlessly clean, and the friendliness was top-notch. My family and I came and enjoyed a wonderful meal in a clean environment.

The place was decent. The staff were attentive. Compared to other döner kebabs I've had in Germany, the meat portion wasn't very generous. However, the meat tasted good. They had options for döner in bread, flatbread, or without bread. They also made falafel. The location was roadside and close to the city center.

You really don't want to miss this. Delicious sandwiches that are very well filled.

Ich war dort mit meinen Kindern essen. Der Döner an sich ist geschmacklich wirklich gut – bis zu dem Moment, als ich ein Haar in meinem Döner entdeckt habe und meine Tochter ebenfalls ein Haar in ihren Pommes hatte. Ich bin ruhig und freundlich nach vorne gegangen und habe den Mitarbeiter darauf hingewiesen. Statt Verständnis oder einer Entschuldigung wurde direkt abgewunken. Mir wurde erklärt, das könne kein Haar von einem Mitarbeiter sein, sondern angeblich schwarze „Härchen“ von einer Kunstpflanze am Rand des Tisches. Das entspricht jedoch nicht den Tatsachen. Ich saß selbst am Rand des Tisches, der Döner war zu diesem Zeitpunkt fast aufgegessen. Das Haar muss also bereits beim Zubereiten im Döner gewesen sein und kann nicht nachträglich hineingekommen sein. Zudem war es ein kurzes, weißes Haar – ganz eindeutig kein Teil einer Kunstpflanze, deren Wedel deutlich lila- oder braunfarbene Fasern haben. Ich habe den Döner selbstverständlich nicht weitergegessen, da mir der Appetit komplett vergangen ist. Mir ging es dabei nicht darum, etwas zu fordern. Aber so ein Vorfall geht gar nicht. At the very least, one can take responsibility and apologize to the customer. Whether and what else one offers is entirely up to each individual business. What was particularly awful was that on my way home—just before I arrived—I developed severe stomach cramps accompanied by diarrhea. I felt like my stomach was going to burst. For me, this restaurant is now off-limits. Hair in the food is already unacceptable, but then to not own up to it and blame it on an artificial plant, and ultimately end up with health problems—that's completely unacceptable to me.

Rotisserie meat for €8.50 is still acceptable. But the fries are an outrage! €5.50 for a single portion of fries that wasn't even big is ridiculous. Never again! The sauce was definitely expired. I pointed it out, and they said the fries were from Belgium. 😂😂😂 Seriously, charging €5.50 for a single portion of fries at the main train station is outrageous, plus they charged €1 for the Samurai sauce, which was rotten! Never again!

Yesterday at lunchtime I bought a doner kebab there, and now almost 24 hours later I have terrible diarrhea! I didn't eat anything else before or after!

The place looks cool and the service is great too. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't to my liking. The meat was blandly seasoned and overall it tasted like nothing. I ended up making it extra spicy to make it palatable.

Not recommended – the waiting time is almost two hours.

They always wait until just before closing time to cancel my order, and then I end up with nothing to eat at that time because they don't cancel in time or they still have deliveries open even though they don't want to deliver. It's like, "If we don't get our money, nobody else will either." However, I've been waiting for an hour since I got home from work, and after an hour of waiting, I'm standing here without food because they can't manage to process deliveries or even cancel them in the first place.

The doner kebab and doner box were really delicious, but the deep-fried currywurst wasn't quite to our taste. The staff was very friendly, the food was prepared quickly, and the restrooms were very clean. Unfortunately, the seating area is a bit chilly and drafty due to the protruding entrance gate.

The biggest kebab I've ever seen! Huge portion of fries! All kinds of sauces and sides! Thanks to the team, they were patient considering my level of English!

I was at a restaurant today, and unfortunately, there was a hair in my kebab. When we told the manager, he reacted very rudely and said he wouldn't replace or change anything. His behavior was disrespectful, and he even called the police. It was a very unpleasant experience. I hope the service and hygiene will improve in the future.

Durum beef and two very tasty durum falafels, loaded with meat and falafel. If you want spicy food, be careful, it's really hot. They have machines that cut the meat automatically, you get your own drink, they're very friendly, and the place is spacious.

I spontaneously went to Düsseldorf in the middle of the night looking for something tasty to eat and found it. Very friendly staff and great food there.

The atmosphere is great, and the Dürum is really tasty. In summary, you could try it if you're a bit hungry.

Located opposite the Flixbus stop in Düsseldorf, you'll find Haus des Döners (House of Döners). Just cross the street and you're there. A very friendly young lady took my order with a smile. AWESOME! A fully electronic doner kebab machine slices the meat from the skewer, very professionally. AWESOME! You receive your order beautifully presented in a bowl. AWESOME! The price, quality, and taste are top-notch 👍 The outdoor seating offers a view of vibrant Düsseldorf and the Flixbus station while you eat. AWESOME 👍 Conclusion: IT CAN'T GET ANY BETTER 👍

I had to explain 4 times how to pay by card and then it didn't work. Another man tried and it didn't work either. Then our cards would have been empty. It was really rude and disgusting. I want the shop to close.

Fraudulent employees think you're too stupid to read the price list after leaving the club in the morning and try to cheat you out of 50 cents, like a customer who overcharges your card and then gives you the money back in cash. I would stay away from this store and the mentality of its employees in the future!

The food was very tasty, a bit different from the kebabs I'm used to in the country. Ordering was a bit tricky, but it was okay. Definitely recommendable.

The kebab was okay, but I found it odd when, while I was ordering, a fringe person from the main station community came in and exchanged small change for bills. The change was then placed on the bags into which my kebab was then packed. I found that very disgusting.

Very friendly service and the kebab plate (complete) was excellent. I was there around 11:30 p.m. and was pleasantly surprised that everything was very clean and there was clearly enough fresh lettuce / tomatoes / cabbage on display. The portion size was definitely enough for even those very hungry. In addition, the sauces were very tasty. The prices are not overpriced for the current time.

This is the second time we have ordered there via Uber Eats. Totally thrilled both times. The fact that the kebab is even delivered tastes great! Plus you have garlic sauce!!!! 😍 Today I ordered a pommdöner and asked for soft cheese and lots of sauce. Both were fulfilled and even without an extra charge! Actually this shop Baba but once been here wallah he had kebab was wet on the outside because of too much sauce on bread and not enough on top was dry yes and too much meat and not enough salad I ate half of the kebab and then I went back I went and asked for sauce then he agreed and put a lot on it plus point

The perfect location when you are near Düsseldorf central station and fancy a döner, or a falafel sandwich. The staff is very quick and helpful and you can easily pay by card. The eatery is very clean and the opening hours are awesome - that means they are open until very late (often 4am). Highly recommendable! Enjoy!

We heard about them because they opened a branch in Istanbul, so we wanted to stop by when we came to Germany. It's really delicious and the portions are big. The price was normal for the portion. We paid 20 euros for two people. The employees are also helpful, if we come to Germany again we would like to eat here.

You order here and wait for hours for food or any insight. No apology or understanding.

Dirty and unhygienic was close to poisoning

I just crashed my car into a guardrail, my husband left me and my pets died, all today. So that I can at least enjoy a good kebab, I placed an order with the last money I scraped together and not even this was ever delivered, with the justification that Lieferando's system did not transmit this. Is that my problem or yours? The best of all is; that there is no telephone number given ANYWHERE and you have to search stupidly and stupidly. Beware of rip-offs! Just say directly that you don't want to give customers their food and that you need to deduct a few euros from people. During the time I was waiting, I drove to Belgium to get fries there, went from there to Berlin for a quick party and now finally in Düsseldorf. Still no delivery. That's sick. Get well soon.

Decided to try yet another doner place out. This was recommended on a blog I read. I ordered the beef sandwich and a beef box with fries. I really liked the long strips of beef, they use a machine to automatically cut the kebab when it’s ready which gives the perfect length and thickness. the shop looked clean and service was fast and efficient. I was in and out in around 5 mins. I decided not to eat in the restaurant and opted for a takeaway which I ate at home. The sauces and salads were fresh tasting and bread was toasty . Both came to about £15 .

Amazing amount of food and amazing taste. The big wrap fills you up completely and costs 11€, an absolute steal considering how good it tastes. The falafel (vegan) version of it is also really good. The spicy sauce is actually spicy unlike most other places, it's also really nice tasting. Will definitely come back.

The bad fake reviews definitely come from competitors in the neighborhood or from envious people. Update: Tenth visit here and everything consistent high quality. The guys behind the counter are super friendly, the shop is spotlessly clean and the kebab is out of this world. After a meal like that, I can't and don't want to eat anything for 24 hours. I'm full and satisfied. Eating is a habit, enjoying is a joy. It's nice that you exist. Please stay ambitious about quality!

Doner kebab is strong but thick and unpleasant

The food was served relatively quickly and was really tasty (doner kebab box). What really convinced me was the friendly staff; The female employee in particular was very accommodating! The location also looked great visually, you felt comfortable and of course there was no lack of hygiene at all :) The only thing that I found a bit annoying was the loud music, which was muted after a while, so it's a great restaurant and also very close to the main station. (+ to everyone who loves spiciness, the hot sauce is really hot haha)

We got a pom kebab. Actually we were always happy but now my husband and I have been battling food poisoning for 2 days. I advise against visiting.

Went there the day before yesterday with my wife because we wanted something quick and tasty. Unfortunately, a few hours later came the nasty surprise that resulted in us lying in bed with food poisoning for two days. My recommendation: stay at home, who knows what happened to the food.

The restaurant is close to the train station. There are a few seats, small but clean. I had a haloumni sandwich for €6. It was very tasty and crunchy.

I bought myself a kebab. Result: very, very small, very little meat, dry, hardly any sauce. Simply a pure rip-off for €8. The employees are very nice, but that's it.😅 Maybe that's their trick too. All I can say is please go somewhere else.
