After 3 years, absolutely nothing has changed!!! One dish was freezing cold, even the new dish (a burger) was barely lukewarm, and that was after a 25-minute wait. Of the two beers I ordered, one arrived after 25 minutes, and the other never came at all!!! Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend this place!!! Yesterday, I even tried to speak directly with the owner… I was told she wasn't there, even though she was. During the phone call, she claimed that reviews like this damage the restaurant industry. If you receive a disastrous experience as a customer, you should be able to share your experience with others. It's always easy to blame the customers. Tip: start by addressing your own shortcomings. Dear Ms. S., after reading all your 1-star reviews, I completely agree with your opinion. Accusing me of trying to get a free meal is an absolute outrage!!! ... Up until now, the food has always been great 🍴… but the last three visits were barely lukewarm… and today, even the second attempt was colder than the first. The waiter was very friendly… the owner was out. We didn't even have to pay for the cold food we hadn't eaten… yikes! Conclusion: We've lost regular customers.

Table reserved, ambiance okay. It took a long time before we could order drinks. There were four of us. I ordered a pork knuckle, and my friends had already received their food when mine arrived cold. I sent it back, explaining that I wanted hot food. A friend of mine had green beans wrapped in bacon that were still raw, and the bacon wasn't crispy. She also sent her food back. My food finally arrived about 20 minutes later. I wonder what took so long? Then I ordered crème brûlée for dessert, which arrived promptly but was completely runny. I sent that back too. The waiter didn't offer a word of apology. Ordering more drinks was also difficult, as there was no waiter in sight. What a shame, the food ruined our evening! The price-performance ratio is completely off!

You can enjoy a variety of foods and delicious beer! The atmosphere is great, and the food is generally good.

Hello. I've been there at least three times and was disappointed again. The ambiance is nice, the location is good, the service is okay, but the food was disappointing once more because it lacked real flavor. The pasta was too oily; you could only taste the oil, and the schnitzel wasn't salted at all. There were no salt and pepper shakers on the table, and they only brought them after I asked for them. It's a shame. It would be nice if it were mildly seasoned, at least with a little salt and pepper. I personally don't need to go back. It's a pity; I wanted to try it a third time, hoping for improvement. Unfortunately, no. I hope other people have better luck there.

Very friendly service, very nice atmosphere 👍 The carpaccio was prepared with too much pepper and salt, otherwise the food tasted very good and in this atmosphere you can enjoy a nice evening with your best friends!

I have no idea what the others here are complaining about. The reservation went really well, the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and special requests were accommodated.

A low point in Hildesheim's gastronomy! The wine we initially ordered came with a piece of the cork in the glass. Of course, they replaced it, but without a word of regret. The sausage salad wasn't served with mountain cheese, as advertised on the menu, but with mozzarella. Any complaints about this fell victim to the annoyance over the barely lukewarm tomato soup. It was sent to be reheated, but didn't arrive until we asked for the bill. Again, not a word of regret. It's simply a shame how such a beautiful place is being run down.

There are beer flights, but unfortunately not with the local Hildesheim beer. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food. The ambiance in the old building is very nice, though. And there are definitely a few different rooms, such as a vaulted cellar.

Nice restaurant located in an old well-maintained historical building in the old town. Was recommended to visit this place by locals. Came on a regular Monday evening. There were many guests both outside and on the ground floor. When we said we wanted to eat we were sent up to the 1st floor. Was well received. Got drinks quickly and after a short time came the two dishes we had ordered. For me it was "the fat Hermend". A stuffed wiener schnitzel. Absolutely good and tasty. Good food, cozy atmosphere and sweet and attentive service. Highly recommended as a good place to visit if you come to town.

Friendly, tasty and the price is ok too

I've been coming here for ten years during the EMO to eat the shank, and this year it was of terrible quality and age. I have to note the fact that I've been eating shanks here for ten years during the EMO, and this year the quality was truly abysmal and stale. I pointed this out to the waiter by asking him to smell the meat, and he told me he was serving, not cooking. It's a shame the place has fallen into such disrepair.

A bald waiter was constantly yelling at his colleagues and reprimanding them in front of the guests. With the guests themselves, he was always ranting about his colleagues, saying they were bad and provided poor service, and that he was the only one working for the guests. That's unacceptable. I actually didn't want to pay him either (he was the only one who worked for him) because he didn't do anything. Why can't you pay the people who provided the service and did it well?

I'll completely ignore the interior ambiance, as I'm often less interested in that in a restaurant, but you can hardly ruin it in a half-timbered house like this. I was outside with relatives. The waitress came to us quite quickly, but instead of a greeting, she immediately asked, "What would you like to order?" No "Hello," or "Would you like something to eat or drink?" I found that a bit odd, but other than that, the service was very friendly and nice. So, that's why I gave it 3/5 stars because it was average. Additionally, the floor outside was littered with dirt and broken glass, which really wasn't necessary. The chairs were very uncomfortable for eating, as you were leaning very far back, which is fine if you just want to have a drink and relax, but not at all for eating. So, to put it briefly, the seats are very long and the chairs quite narrow. So, if you're naturally taller or have a few extra pounds, you'll find sitting here very uncomfortable. Shorter people have difficulty leaning back due to the long seats. This may sound trivial, but I'm sitting in a restaurant somewhere and want a comfortable chair the whole time. The tables were a bit wobbly due to the cobblestones, but you can't really blame anyone for that. For dinner, I had schnitzel with fried potatoes and a cream sauce with fresh chanterelles. Beforehand, we were given a tomato sauce as a welcome gift from the kitchen. The tomato soup was very good, perhaps too spicy for some, but it came in a small bowl with a broken rim. It wasn't a fresh break; you could already see the heavy wear on all the bowls. I find that inappropriate for a restaurant. According to the waiter, the whole thing was included in the price. Apparently, they're charging for a service you didn't order yourself. I found that questionable. The schnitzel, however, was an absolute disaster. For €23.50, it was wafer-thin, had no flavor from the meat, and tasted only of fat. They couldn't offer anyone the cream sauce with fresh chanterelles either. This just tasted like a roux, not even a hint of mushroom flavor, not even salt or pepper, and no shakers on the table for seasoning. How anyone could mess up a cream sauce with "fresh" chanterelles so badly and not even season it is a complete mystery to me. I usually talk to the waiters if something isn't right, because everyone is human and mistakes happen. But here, it ended up being such a large gathering that I'm grateful that the people there simply don't care. I don't recommend the restaurant for food, but sitting outside and having a drink seems to be quite relaxed.

Ate outside in front of the rebuilt carved wood building—my girlfriend’s carpenter dad chose the spot, and yes he is German. Food tasted good, but options (small menu, only 2 vegetarian options) and portions were small (girlfriend and I were still hungry afterwards) and quite expensive. $118 for a group of 4 for lunch and my girlfriend and I had ordered cheaper options.

Rib day on Monday is fantastic. You can order as many ribs as you like, and they taste great.

Six of us had pre-ordered food here. We specifically asked the waiter if he had taken six meals, as we had already noticed that one had gone missing. He said he had registered six meals with the kitchen. We only received five. When we asked, he rudely replied, "I'm just the waiter, please see someone else." This is a complete disgrace. For a meal price of €22.80, I expect much better service. The food that was delivered later was completely unloved and dry, completely different from the other meals that had been brought. With the words: "Well, everything's fine now!" For the children's meal, where ketchup was listed on the menu, ketchup was simply not brought and was charged extra. We cannot recommend this restaurant. As an addendum: The second server who came was much friendlier. I would now give it three stars. He apologized politely and responded with humor. We would have liked such a reaction from the outset.

Absolutely beautiful! Service is a bit chaotic, but the food and drinks are delicious. The tomato soup is highly recommended, as is the currywurst. Definitely add a few more schnapps and your evening will be perfect.

It's been a while since we were in Hildesheim... but the schnitzel with mushroom sauce was absolutely world-class and will stay with me forever! And the ambiance in the historic building is, of course, just as world-class! My advice to all Hildesheim residents: Rebuild your city as beautiful as it was before the war... all those post-war houses outside the beautiful market square are ugly.

The terrace was quite full, and we thought it would be nice to eat there. If you wanted to order, you were referred to a colleague. The entire terrace could only order from one person; the rest followed his instructions. Chaotic. We ordered drinks and two burger menus. The drinks arrived quickly, but the wait for the food was excruciating. After literally an hour, this person walked by and said, "You ordered food, right? It'll be here soon." (I got the feeling they couldn't handle the crowd. Behind us was a large group of people, half of whom had finished their food, and the other half were still waiting for their order.) After another half hour, he came back and said, "You haven't had your food yet, right? My mistake, but the burgers were sold out three hours ago." He gave a few apologies that seemed completely insincere. Suppressed with anger, I paid for the drinks and left. I won't even mention what he's cramming his burgers into as far as I'm concerned. I've never been treated so unfriendly to customers. It is purely a matter of filling pockets with drinks with no other sympathy for the customers.

Excellent tapas, I recommend it!!! But it's a shame that during dinner you have to wait a very long time for everything. Really unpleasantly long. Even the main course rumpsteak was not worth the price of 33€. Dry, cold and overcooked. On top of that, ordinary greasy fries from Lidl.

Super friendly and funny staff, you feel really comfortable there, the food was a 10/10, super tasty, everything fresh and you were so full, the price was totally fair, we will definitely be back

There were three of us there, sitting outside, and ordering from the lunch menu. The tomato soup that came with it arrived relatively quickly, but was borderline spicy. Then the long wait began. After an hour, we finally inquired and discovered that our order had apparently not been sent. Since we were hungry, we stayed until the food arrived another 20 minutes later. The quality was mediocre, made from pre-prepared ingredients. One guest's spaetzle was very lightly seasoned, and the advertised zucchini was minimal. My fried fish with potato salad would have been fine at a snack bar, but not for €16.80. The third guest, however, was very satisfied with his meal. But we certainly wouldn't return.

The food and drinks were great. However, there was one waiter who was extremely unpleasant. He was a tall guy, dark haired, tanned, and definitely felt very cool. There's nothing wrong with casual banter, but when the first comment is "Yuck," when someone orders a non-alcoholic beer and then you follow up with "Yeah, I just don't like your beer," it's a real bummer. It's okay to think that, but you don't say it to your customers' faces. All the other waiters were super nice.

Service was very slow and not very friendly! After 15 minutes, our order was taken, but we had to wait another 10 minutes for it. The restaurant wasn't very busy during our visit, and the table next to us had already left because they hadn't been served. When paying, we were rudely asked for card or cash, and without politely asking if we had any change, they simply asked for 10 cents.

Unfortunately, the exterior ambiance is deceptive. The service and food still have a lot of room for improvement... The tapas menu is nice, but the mushrooms and onions were completely burnt, blackened, and inedible. Our request for some more bread was heard and answered, but none was brought. The staff is obviously completely overwhelmed... The poor tourists, who had probably expected a little more from Hildesheim anyway... The city's bad reputation has been confirmed once again!

Food variety is limited. With that being said the available food was nice. Staff were nice too, especially Eirick. I think that’s how you spell it. Give that man a raise!

We were there around 1 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon (2 people). The weather was great, business was booming, and we easily found a free table. After waiting 10 minutes, we asked a server if we could order a drink. The server clearly didn't feel like working in such beautiful weather... A short time later (still without drinks), another server asked us what we were having and ordered our food from her. A full 50 minutes later, we canceled our food and left the restaurant hungry. The ambiance is really great, both inside and out - it's a shame that things were a bit shaky that day.

This restaurant seems to exist only because of its ambiance... Limited selection, lacking in taste, unfriendly service, and high prices are all reasons not to visit this place. You can't build a loyal clientele with such little effort.

Tourist trap!!!!! The K7 was supposed to be a showcase for our beautiful Hildesheim. When our relatives came to visit us over the course of the year, we gave the K7 a chance to prove itself three times. We had the following experiences here: It took our order 30 minutes, and they took it surly. The restaurant wasn't full. We understand staff shortages. But not the completely disorganized staff who first brought the wrong drinks and then completely dry, inedible meat dishes. When I asked the male waitress about it (the heavier and extremely unfriendly of the two male waitresses), he just shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes. I didn't receive the beer I ordered until 40 minutes later, after repeated inquiries. Then the bill didn't match what we ordered. Add to that the unreasonable prices for food that would barely justify cafeteria fare, and the staff who shamelessly insult their guests. Toilet paper was nowhere to be found on two out of three visits. And it wasn't provided even when asked. It's sad that k7 presents our Hildesheim like this. Never again! A disgrace for our market square!

Burger Patti was unseasoned, otherwise a very simple burger without much flavor. Schnitzel was okay, but not homemade... Very long wait for food and payment. Nice atmosphere, but that doesn't make up for it... Too bad!

We had lunch at KA7. The service was very slow. There were still dishes from previous diners everywhere. Our table was cleaned upon request. We then got the menu ourselves. The drinks and food were delicious.

My visit to the KA7 Restaurant was unfortunately a bitter disappointment. From the moment we arrived, the inattentive and unfriendly service was immediately noticeable. We repeatedly had to wait a long time for our drinks and sometimes were only served after repeated requests. The food itself was barely edible – carelessly prepared, disappointing in taste, and in no way commensurate with the prices quoted. The prices were simply excessive for what was offered. And finally, the biggest disappointment came: The bill was incorrect, and items we hadn't even ordered were charged. Our attempt to clarify this was dismissed by the waiter with an annoyed tone – no understanding or willingness to accommodate. Conclusion: Poor service, overpriced prices, poor quality food, and questionable billing. I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

The price/performance ratio here is absolutely not right. First of all, there were hardly any customers and only four people serving. With the Hildesheimer Krüstchen (nicely presented and tasty), the bread under the schnitzel should have been the same size as the schnitzel itself and, above all, toasted, otherwise it would be mushy. The fries as a side dish to another schnitzel dish were a joke, as if reheated and partly tasteless, and the presentation was also sad. Not even a garnish. The waiter doesn't ask during the meal whether it's tasty or if you'd like a drink. And when you finally get to order a drink, it's forgotten. The restaurant closes at 9 p.m., but the terrace is cleared shortly before 8 a.m., even though there are still guests eating. And the dessert selection is modest; who wants warm apple strudel or crème brûlée in the summer? Despite the beautiful wood, the ambiance is cold and unloving, and the colorful lamps don't fit in at all. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, which is a shame, because with a little more passion it would definitely be a nice place.

Amazing location and building on the main square of Hilsenheim. Only the actually building and history are worth a visit. Unfortunately, the staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed. It first took a long time to get a table, then to get the menus, place the order and get the drinks/food. Some small mistakes were made in the process. In the end, we stayed there much longer than anticipated but no real harm done as we were not in a rush. I assume it’s just an unusually busy Saturday. I still recommend this beautiful location as the food was delicious.

The food consists of convenience foods. Deep-fried schnitzel with cafeteria sauce. Not good value for money. The tables are covered in wax and sticky.

We had lunch today. There was no service for a long time. We ordered schnitzel with asparagus for €28. Potatoes were too salty. Schnitzel with pressed meat and asparagus was bland. And the food was cold. It's a shame, I expected more. I won't be going back there anytime soon.

There were 10 of us there. The food wasn't particularly good. None of it tasted particularly good. It was okay, but nothing more. The schnitzels seemed to have come from a deep fryer... The worst thing, though, was that the wine wasn't cold. Unfortunately, after we complained, nothing changed. And warm white wine... who wants that anyway? We definitely won't be back.

The location and the house itself are fantastic. We sat outside and got a quick drink. After that, however, nothing worked. We were able to order from the very small daily menu, but then only the tables around us received their food. Whether ordered before us or long after. After 45 minutes and another request, we were told we had lost the receipt and asked if we wanted to order again. No thanks. Our drinks were on the house, but it was frustrating. We then went somewhere else because we didn't want to risk another long wait. Too bad

Extremely pleasant atmosphere and, despite the crowds, very attentive service (special thanks to Kader A.) who kindly looked after us outside in the morning - it was also pleasant to sit there on the market square and watch the hustle and bustle - and was still in a good mood in the evening. Thank God for a manageable menu and good food.

Excellent location in the downtown of Hildesheim, right at the market square with all of its picturesque half timbered houses. Nice atmosphere and we also had a very attentive waiter. The food was decent (had Schnitzel and a burger). I liked the dark beer (Einbecker dunkel).

The food was okay, but the selection is very limited. Also completely inappropriate for the great ambience of the building. Unfortunately, the staff was completely overwhelmed and ran around completely mindless. When I pointed out that there was no toilet paper, I was completely ignored and, when I asked, very harshly asked to use paper for my hands. Unfortunately, the ladies don't have a handle on talking about their guests inconspicuously... It's a shame, I always enjoyed going there on my visits, but I don't have to do it again.

My husband and I wanted to have something to eat after a nice day of shopping and sat there for 15 minutes without being noticed by the service staff. We even organized the menu ourselves. Even the people who came after us were served. After 15 minutes we got up and went somewhere else.

The selection and quality of the food at breakfast was okay. Unfortunately the service staff wasn't very attentive. At the beginning we were given the orange juice and were asked if we would like to order hot drinks. These were also brought to the table quickly. That was the service! No further requests for drinks, used dishes were cleared away once in a while when they were already piled up on the table. Vitello tonnato was only added upon request. There is great potential for improvement here, as there were only a few guests present overall.

Make a reservation on Monday and pre-order ribs! Delicious beer and tappas, highly recommended!

A restaurant with a unique timber interior right at the Marktplatz. The menu is a bit limited, but they make up for it with a solid beer selection, especially from Einbecker. If you’re not too hungry, the German tapas selection is an option - only as good as German tapas get. That said, I was satisfied with the Matjesfilet and Knochenschinken

I can recommend a visit to KA7. Lunch was very good. There is a lunch menu (including starter soup). Price/performance is good. Food comes quite quickly.

A rustic, half-timbered restaurant in the heart of Hildesheim's city center, serving good German and international cuisine. The ingredients are regional, and the food is delicious. I particularly liked the fact that you can combine several Spanish tapas-style appetizers, available in various sizes.

! AVOID ! Unfortunately we were served raw meat. When we commented, the food was taken away without a word, without apologizing, let alone saying what happened next. After a while, the food suddenly appeared on the table without a word. However, the taste was so bad that you couldn't finish it either. Of course the full invoice was issued.

The Beinhauer Amthaus is one of the most prominent buildings in Hildesheim. Central contact point for guests in Hildesheim. What's sad is how simple the menu is that the house welcomes its guests. The pork schnitzel with fries was okay, it would be a great dish in Helga's drinking booth, but here the menu with dishes based on the simplest dishes does not fit the importance of the building. All dishes come on the same plates, even here there is no Ansoruch. The fact that one of three draft beers was not available fits into the picture. The fast and friendly service was positive. All in all there is no reason to return

Some time ago I had lunch with my family in the KA7 restaurant in Hildesheim, it is located on the market square in the beautiful Beinehauer Amthaus, what a great ambience. Of course I can only judge what I ate. I ate the Hildesheimer "Krüstchen", a combination of meat and a Hildesheim bread specialty, as the name suggests, a very crusty bread Hildesheim, this KA7 restaurant is my absolute favorite. I can really recommend the restaurant. 👍👍💓💓

Delicious food, super nice and attentive staff. We always enjoy coming here...😎 We ate the delicious “ribs” on Monday. They were delicious as always. The waitress was very attentive and repeatedly asked if we needed more supplies. Once again a very successful evening. April 2nd, 2024 Went to Ka7 again today and ate delicious oven feta from the lunch menu...delicious.

Very friendly service. But.... The starter and main course were brought to the table almost at the same time. An absurdity given the price range. It's not a fast food restaurant. When we arrived at the main course, the food was correspondingly soggy. Too bad.

Pollock fillet with fried potatoes and tartar sauce. I've never had anything so unloving to eat anywhere. The fish was fried too long and the remoulade was a mayonnaise with herb salt. Ribs full => Order taken and placed on the table when finished. Bon appetit. No mention of a salad buffet or reference to side dishes. After a short search I found what I was looking for. Ribs were rather bland and pepper & salt were given after ten minutes. Surprise: there is fine-grained salt in the salt mill and after half a turn the food is rather oversalted. The goulash was acceptable. All in all: once, but never again.

Received the wrong drinks, received the wrong food, real prices higher than on the homepage, snippy waitress and schnitzel felt like it was fried in old fat, oh yes... Beer tasting was canceled, only 3 out of 5 were available. Somehow Hildesheim doesn't leave a good impression

This store is truly a disaster. We wanted to have a drink upstairs, but the waiter made fun of us because we didn't want to eat. With a derogatory tone he made it clear to us that it was ‘weird’ to want to sit upstairs without eating anything. Let's face it, I'm a customer and I'm paying, so I guess I can decide where I want to sit! This kind of behavior is just disrespectful. When we wanted to open the window, he said we first had to ask if it was okay for the other guests. Of course it wasn't a problem and the window was opened, but the whole atmosphere was just unpleasant. Ultimately we decided to leave - I'm definitely not staying with such rude and unprofessional service. Another time I was there with a friend and ordered tapas. They neither looked like tapas nor tasted like them. Some of the bread was dry, probably old leftovers, while other parts seemed fresh - very noticeable. The meat also smelled so bad that I couldn't eat it. When I refused to pack it, the waitress said in an unpleasant tone, 'Then why did you order so much?' Sorry, but that's not possible. I pay and decide for myself whether I take something with me or not. Conclusion: Rude service, questionable food quality and an atmosphere that is just not fun. I'm definitely not coming back here.

The ambience is of course great. Location too. The goulash was delicious, but it could have been a little warmer. My colleagues all had one or two things to complain about. The food selection is okay so far, but could perhaps be more varied. Prices are of course high, it feels like a 20% surcharge for the location. Unfortunately my wish for a spirit was not fulfilled, perhaps the materials management (minimum inventory!) needed to be optimized.

Nice atmosphere, you wait a really long time for the food and that's disappointing across the board... I had the beef goulash with dumplings - dumplings from the bag, red cabbage from the jar and unfortunately the only flavor left from the goulash is pepper - it's a shame, but the beer is good. Super nice location right on the market square, so we stopped in. The atmosphere is nice and we got a table on Friday without a reservation. The service was very friendly and calm, which was really positive. Unfortunately the food wasn't good, we had a knuckle - most of the fat wasn't fried well and the sauerkraut was too salty - and kale - a relatively small portion of cabbage, a few potatoes and only half a piece of belly meat and the taste was only ok - both didn't taste good to us. The three stars come from the really nice service and the beautiful ambience as well as the location.

Unfortunately, our Christmas party started with really bad tasting food. Absolutely poor quality at very high prices. The service was okay and became increasingly unfriendly as the evening went on. We We then left the restaurant early and looked for something else. It's a shame, because the atmosphere with the Christmas market in front of the door really promised more.

Brilliant ambience, both inside and outside. Centrally located on Hildesheim's historic market square, several levels and a vaulted cellar. Delicious food, friendly and fast service. Also outside in summer. My favorite restaurant in Hildesheim since 2006.

When I visited a few years ago, the restaurant had more to offer. Unfortunately, the new menu is very compact - steaks are no longer offered. Even the choice of drinks is very limited. You'll still get full here and that's why. Service is good!

3 out of 3 times I was there service was horrible, slow and unprofessional. Food is overpriced and tastes bellow average. Much better places in town.

Food is average, not better nor worse than in other similar places, good atmosphere and style of the restaurant - looks awesome. But especially I would mark awful service - it often takes at least 10-15 min to get a menu when you arrived. I’m not even saying about waiting time for dishes. Today was special experience - waiter didn’t offer anything, even menu, for 15 minutes, and when saw us leaving not even apologized, just ran near us. Never ever I’d spend a cent in this place.

The food is far dry and coated with a very thick layer of breading. There wasn't even a drop of oil or dressing on the salad. We're definitely not coming back

We waited a whopping 1.5 hours for food. We have either been forgotten or something went wrong in the organization. The potatoes could easily have been longer, the schnitzel was not good. There are plus points for the ambience.

Ordered ravioli, got ready-made tortellini. Answer to question: it's all the same. Unfortunately, they were also doughy. Thank you.

The food was very tasty. Waiting times are okay. The service was a bit slow :). Otherwise everything was great. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but the quality of the food was correspondingly high 👍🏻

I ate there for the first time because a Bavarian week was on offer and I ordered white sausage with pretzel, which was fine so far, except for the pretzel pastry, which was loose from the day before, because it was inedible (cold and hard). I found it very unfortunate.

I would like to give 0 stars, but unfortunately this is not possible. I'm really shocked, but all over again. We were already at Ka7 about nine months ago. We hadn't eaten there yet and wanted to try it out. It was a failure. My husband's food didn't come, only my son and I's. When we asked where it was, we were told it would come soon. It will take another 15 minutes. When it came, it was only lukewarm. No big apology or anything. We paid and left. Today we wanted to give the restaurant another chance, as it is really beautifully located on the market square. So we chose a place in the sun. But what we experienced today can hardly be put into words. The waiter came, the same as last time, and took our drink request. We asked for a menu. This was answered in the affirmative and he walked away. A few minutes later we were served our drinks by a younger waiter. We asked again for a menu. The young man went away and came back with three cards. There were no children's meals on these menus. So I asked if there was also a card for children. He said no and turns to the next table. We were a bit irritated. When he took the order at the next table, I said again: Sorry, we weren't finished yet. He turned to us and I asked if there would be anything for children. His answer: I don't think so today, but I'll ask. Shortly afterwards he came back and said there was nothing for children today. We found this very strange, but then asked for the bill. Now the waiter came back from ordering the drinks and said rather rudely why we couldn't find anything, they had schnitzel and fries, as well as nuggets for children. Then things got uncomfortable. We said that the colleague had just said that there would be nothing. His answer: That would just be a temporary worker. His tone was very stroppy and completely inappropriate. He started arguing with my husband. It no longer had anything to do with professionalism or objectivity. I gave him the money for the drinks on the side, but he threw the bill back on the table and said we didn't have to pay for it, it was on him. But I've never experienced it in such an unfriendly and patronizing tone. We left the drinks and left. This could certainly have been solved differently. We refrained from complaining to his boss because it was just too much. We have never experienced dealing with customers like this before. We certainly won't go here again and can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

When we realized after ordering drinks that we had forgotten our wallet with money, cards and ID at home, we reported this embarrassing problem to the owners. They responded unexpectedly for us: the drinks were on the house and we were welcome to order something to eat, for which an invoice would then be sent to our home. Relieved and full of surprise, we ordered and were amazed not only by the owners but also by the food. Their reaction is exemplary and exemplary for everyone. In other restaurants we would probably have been shown the door. Many thanks to the KA7 team for their great understanding. *****

Very tasty beer selection (beer tasting is highly recommended), cool atmosphere, as the restaurant was probably once a stable. And the food is super delicious! Very happy again

Very beautiful, lovingly authentic and detailed rebuilt historic half-timbered house. Really invites you to linger. We also did this in the evening with friends. Extensive drinks and menu. I enjoyed a delicious, fresh and light Kellerbier (I think also home-brewed). Everyone really enjoyed their different dishes in the relatively large group. The service team is great: Despite a major event in Hildesheim with a huge rush to the outdoor area, they are very nice, attentive and committed. And totally helpful! I lost personal things during the evening! The team found it in the restaurant and passed it on to the management, Ms. Schlöter. After researching online, she sent me a contact option. After a nice phone call, the lost things were sent to me without a finder's fee and free of charge!! This is real customer focus! “Many thanks” again to the entire team for their honesty and willingness to help. You don't find this every day anymore! A very rustic restaurant - lots of half-timbering and a rustic atmosphere. Even though there was a lot going on, the background noise was very good. The service was nice and courteous and also had tips for consumption. All dishes were nicely prepared and tasty. Nobody stayed hungry. The beer samples are a nice idea and help with further selection. We would love to come back.
