Spent a lovely afternoon there today. Friendly, unobtrusive but attentive staff. We liked it.

One of the most popular places in town, delicious food, good prices, great dog friendly. Happy to visit

Update, we were back in the Alm 3 weeks ago. This time everything was okay. Our visit on September 21st around 10 p.m. was probably already too late for the service. Empty glasses on the table, tables not wiped down, cutlery missing. The empty glasses were not cleared away during our entire stay. Therefore one star for the presence of the service staff, one star for the ambience and 4 stars for the good food. Many thanks to the kitchen

Nice service, fast delivery, small portion for a normally expensive price. But at least it was tasty. So it's not a classic tip, but it's a solid idea.

The food is still great, only this time the schnitzel came to the table almost cold. I had ordered extra sauce, was forgotten and only came to the table when I asked when I had almost finished eating. It's a shame that the service and the good tone have fallen asleep. The two of us came in and asked if we could sit on the first gallery area. The answer: "No, today we're not doing anything up there, because that way I can save myself having to stumble up there..." ... The food came after 45 minutes... when we then pressed the no-tip option when paying, the waiter's farewell was also very unfriendly... We've had nicer evenings in the Bavaria

We were there for brunch. When we made the reservation we were asked if we would like pots of coffee to relieve the staff. We found the way of thinking very pleasant. It was very crowded. The staff very friendly and polite. Too few staff for so many guests. They all did their best. There was plenty of food and it was always refilled. The toilets are in the basement. The paper has now run out. A disabled-accessible toilet is on the same floor as the restaurant. We'd love to come back. 😊

Arrived from Brandenburg pretty broken. Then enjoyed the relaxation in the alpine pasture: had a delicious meal and went home. Disabled parking space, ramp to the entrance, barrier-free and disabled toilets available in the lower area. Always nice in the Alm!

We were here for the first time today, we were greeted in a very friendly manner, the service was very nice and courteous. The food was very tasty and fresh. The lady who was responsible for us here today (I asked her her name and she said Sabine) is just great! Always grinning, very friendly and you had the feeling that she loves her job and is happy to try to fulfill all our wishes... that's exactly how it works!!! We'd love to come back

Update: After a long time we were back in the Alm. The menu was changed - and unfortunately my beloved tarte flambée is no longer available! Okay, so I ordered roast pork. And honestly, it just wasn't good! The dumplings were inedible and the sauce was just greasy! So that can definitely be better! Cozy rustic restaurant with hearty dishes. The tarte flambée is very tasty and I can also recommend the thread soup. One star deducted because I don't like Sinalco's drinks at all! The service on Friday evening was very friendly and attentive. At around 10.30 p.m. we were asked for the last order and then a lovely evening unfortunately ended very abruptly. We'll still be back!

We ate here with 6 people and felt we were well and friendly served. The food was very tasty by everyone.

We went to the breakfast buffet on Saturday. Salads had a very vinegary taste, the sausages were not Nuremberg, the pencake maker was very slow, the bullets tasted bland. All in all, the selection was okay. The service was completely overwhelmed. Nobody came. If you ordered at the counter it still took forever and sometimes nothing arrived. It was exhausting, especially with 2 small children.

I ordered roast pork. Everything was given in one container, so everything was swimming in red cabbage and gravy. The meat had no roasted aroma whatsoever and was quite tough. There were 2 mini dumplings. It's not on the menu that everything was served like it was in a trough becomes. There were no napkins at the table and the waitress only offered new drinks upon request, empty glasses were overlooked. Now I know why you don't have to reserve a table on Friday evenings.

The shop is rustic and cozy. There is plenty of on-site parking, a terrace for outdoor dining and a two-level indoor area. The employees are all super friendly and attentive. Dogs are welcome and are given water immediately. The food is, as you know it, German and delicious. All in all, very tasty and highly recommended!

Today, December 24th, 2024, we had breakfast at the Bavaria Alm. The breakfast was ok so far... There was actually no cinnamon and sugar with the rice pudding. Too bad! The mood wasn't that good. The last time we were there was 2 years ago. There. Not a single Christmas music. We were told immediately. The next guests will arrive at 12. Then you have to get up. I used to know it completely differently. Really a terrible shame. Nothing with dancing and partying. I would have liked the concept from before to be continued in Alex. Guess...that was the last time for breakfast at Christmas....

The taste of the food was good. It's a shame that the food is often cold and, depending on the dish, has to be warmed up several times and is sometimes overcooked. High-quality finished products are probably served. If you value warm, fresh cuisine, you should avoid it. For the price you can find better offers in comparison. Place management is not convincing. Criticism of Speißen is not dealt with competently. The concept would work with fresh cuisine. But not like that Too bad...

Unfortunately, the kale with cabbage sausage wasn't a huge hit. That can be better too! I don't understand why we weren't seated at a normal table in a half-empty restaurant at 6 p.m. on a Tuesday, like other guests. The cocktail chairs at our table by the fireplace are not suitable for eating and were dirty, as was the tablecloth. In addition, the lighting there is not sufficient for eating. Sorry, but none of this works!

The seating around the fireplace is pretty shabby...The upholstery makes a very dirty impression.... If tables have already been assigned and you are asked to wait for the staff to enter...Then the staff are welcome to leave the counter Make eye contact instead of staring at the tray...I was wet from the rain and standing there like a watered poodle...The attention is getting worse again...

Food top! The ladies are top and friendly! Still service 4 stars because the gentleman with glasses brought us drinks and spilled half the table and we had to clean it ourselves with what was served even though he said he would come straight away but didn't come.

The food wasn't what you're used to. The pork knuckles were not consistently warm and the cabbage could have been hotter. But very nice service.

We were there with a large group, about 20 people, and had ordered in advance at the restaurant's request to avoid long waiting times. After 1 hour 45 minutes we got our food which was very tasty. Despite moderate attendance, the waiters only came by sporadically. No one asked if anyone wanted dessert. I think you could have earned a lot more money from us. In short: Service was bad but the food was really, really good.

We spontaneously drove past while passing through. For now it is probably only by reservation. We were still allowed to sit down. When asked about a child's chair, the mood was not so high. We were there with 6 adults and one child. Upon request, our drinks order was taken. After a while this came too. After a renewed request, our food order was taken. After more than an hour, at least the rice pudding arrived for the child, which was really only warm. Then they asked again for drinks. Then finally our food came, When it came to the schnitzel with fried potatoes, the potatoes were cold. Two dumplings in different variations, both types not cooked through. The other two dishes were OK but didn't blow anyone away: The price/performance ratio would be good if the food was warm and cooked through. Unfortunately no recommendation.

I think things like that are always very subjective... but I'm just giving my opinion. The food was really good, the service was very nice and attentive despite the stress (I think 1-2 not enough, which is why only 4 stars). The ambience is also very great if you have something to spare for wood and alpine pastures. But no party demolition hut don't be afraid. Really nice. My children, aged 14 and 12, also like it and are always the driving force behind making the trip to Hildesheim. So only positive things from me. What should be mentioned is that the prices are okay for me, so they are appropriate for the requirements and ambience. But it could also seem a bit expensive for some... again, that's something that depends very much on the individual. Greetings David

We wanted to have a little something to eat at lunchtime when the temperatures were high and we were surprised at how delicious it was and, in our opinion, how elaborately prepared it was and the price was really very good. We will definitely come back. The only negative was we could have for our little one The dog expected some water, but we could have asked...

Despite the restaurant being full, very good service, very good food and a good atmosphere.

A very pleasant, cozy and even romantic place with a living fire inside. Beer is great! Schnapps is a good choice. Very cheerful waiters. Always happy to come back again.

Nice ambience, good food, great service. The whole thing is rounded off with a good price-performance ratio and generous parking facilities. If you want to criticize something, it might be the somewhat limited selection of dishes. But for me personally it's not a negative point.

It's a little more expensive, but the quality and taste are worth it. The ambience is based on the Bavarian style and is well done. You rarely find that in northern Germany. The service is very accommodating.

We were just passing through with the motorhome in Hildesheim and got off the motorway...and luckily we ended up here. Super friendly staff and the food was really great. The house is beautiful, lots of space. You can eat inside and outside. Prices are completely okay 👍 If we drive past Hildesheim again, we will knowingly stop here from now on.

There's a lot of wood on the inside, which looks very chic from Bavaria. Unfortunately the food doesn't make it any better. There were lots of little bones and cartilage in the pulled pork meat, which was pretty gross. Oversalt the soup. Salad wasn't as fresh and the dressing tasted even less tasty. The drinks are too expensive.

We were there yesterday in beautiful weather and were definitely not disappointed. Everything is perfect here: from the welcome and drink recommendation from our waiter, to the quality of the food, to the ambience. We would particularly like to highlight the service; Not only did the food and drinks reach us quickly, the waiter was also able to respond to requests from our friends from France in French. We'll definitely come back and try the other lemonades too☀️
