A very pleasant, cozy and even romantic place with a living fire inside. Beer is great! Schnapps is a good choice. Very cheerful waiters. Always happy to come back again.

It was very nice again, I can highly recommend the matjes and the schnitzels were all great. We sat in the last corner and the service was always top notch and quick I'll be back 5 stars

Nice ambience, good food, great service. The whole thing is rounded off with a good price-performance ratio and generous parking facilities. If you want to criticize something, it might be the somewhat limited selection of dishes. But for me personally it's not a negative point.

We were just passing through with the motorhome in Hildesheim and got off the motorway...and luckily we ended up here. Super friendly staff and the food was really great. The house is beautiful, lots of space. You can eat inside and outside. Prices are completely okay 👍 If we drive past Hildesheim again, we will knowingly stop here from now on.

There's a lot of wood on the inside, which looks very chic from Bavaria. Unfortunately the food doesn't make it any better. There were lots of little bones and cartilage in the pulled pork meat, which was pretty gross. Oversalt the soup. Salad wasn't as fresh and the dressing tasted even less tasty. The drinks are too expensive.

The Bavaria Alm is a concept restaurant in Hildesheim, which was also founded as a franchise there. A sibling restaurant is Café de Sol, which can be found right next door. The Bavaria Alm is structured in a typical way, as Prussians imagine Bavarian hospitality. The cuisine is hearty and goes with the ambience. What is distinctive is the large guest room, which is divided into different levels and exudes a lot of cosiness. The prices are reasonable and if you prefer German cuisine rather than Mediterranean and US specialties, this is the place for you. Bon appetit!

Today we were once again at the Bavaria-Alm in Hildesheim. We wanted to enjoy the evening in a cozy (birthday) group, eating and drinking. The restaurant was about one full. A total of three service staff were present - even with a "newbie" (as it turned out) the volume of work was in my opinion quite manageable. I'll summarize it briefly: All in all the visit was disappointing. By that I don't mean the food. It was tasty with a pleasant portion size. I'm not referring to the new service person who entered our order in a "bumpy" way into the electronic helper - which ultimately frustrated him so much that he resorted to a piece of paper and a pen (everyone has to learn, don't worry about it). It's the sad overall picture that the service delivered today. Starters came with the main courses - and then wrong. A first round of drinks came quickly, after which you could only order if someone happened to want to clear the table. During the dessert round, empty glasses and bottles were suddenly collected, so I wanted to ask if they were closing right away. It's definitely better - and I've never experienced it there before. Sorry, but that really wasn't good.

We were there this afternoon to have a wheat drink. We actually enjoy coming here. But today we sat at the table inside for over 20 minutes without the service taking care of us. At the next table we were told that they had ordered drinks, but had been waiting for them for a long time. We then got up and went somewhere else. The service has become very bad. A pity.

We went for brunch on Easter Sunday. What a choice. I would particularly like to highlight the roast lamb. Very lean and yet juicy, almost like pulled lamb, very well seasoned. Despite being fully occupied, no extreme noise levels and good air. The staff was friendly and on the ball. Gladly again.

I go here regularly for lunch and am very happy with everything :) there's nothing wrong with the taste of the food, it's just good :) the staff and service are great too :) I always prefer to order half a chicken :D There are also vegetarian dishes, but due to the Bavarian style, the food is quite meat-heavy :) The furnishings and the "ambience" are just cool :D I personally don't care about that sort of thing, but it looks really cool when there is such an enormously high fireplace in the middle of the room :D I can only recommend eating there :)

It was our first time here and we just wanted to eat schnitzel. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The salad was not freshly prepared but was partly already dried and wilted. We asked for another salad, which was then brought. However, it was only slightly better, so probably from the day before. My companion then skipped the salad entirely and I only ate a little bit of it. My Schnitzel Jäger Style hardly contained any mushrooms in the sauce, but it contained even more glutamate. The Viennese style schnitzel of my companion was ok. However, the service and the atmosphere were quite nice. However, we won't be eating there anymore.

Just offering pork steak, pork goulash and white sausage for brunch is not enough, as is pasta and cauliflower as a warm side dish. I was missing a vegetarian main course and not these indefinable breaded particles. It is also a no go if potatoes such as dumplings, croquettes or rösties are missing at brunch in a Bavarian restaurant and the fish dish was also missing. This puncake machine is probably a joke and so are the desserts. No, I'm extremely disappointed, I don't recommend having brunch there, sorry!

Top Bavarian restaurant in this city. The complete interior is decorated in style, all wooden. Typical Bavarian decorations. Staff up to the task, food without a single complaint. We spent a pleasant evening in this restaurant and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes this type of cuisine.

In terms of food, it's a rather mediocre copy of Bavarian home cooking. The ambience is OK and the central fireplace enhances it. However, the hall-like atmosphere is in contradiction to the typical Alpine ambience, which is more characterized by rurality and the lower middle class in historical buildings. Anyone looking for the original will be disappointed. If you're just looking for a theme park-like setting for your dining experience, you might like it. The staff was definitely very friendly.

Wir waren zum Frühstücksbuffet vor Ort. Eine Reservierung wird unbedingt empfohlen und kann auch über die Internetseite getätigt werden. Leider wurde dort die Option barrierefrei nicht berücksichtigt, mit Rollstuhl dann schwer da viele Plätze nur mit Treppe erreichbar sind. Das Angebot war ausreichend und wurde schnell wieder aufgefüllt. Sehr gute Auswahl an vegetarischen Optionen und auch vegan war möglich. Leider nicht bei Müsli oder ähnlichem (nur Kuhmilch vorhanden). Auch der Aufpreis von 1,20 € für Kaffeespezialitäten ist unglaublich, ich möchte ja keinen ganzen Liter kaufen. Sehr große Auswahl an Brötchen und Brot. Bei der regulären Karte gibt es leider keine Hauptspeise die vegan gekennzeichnet ist, lediglich Vorspeisen oder Beilagen sind vegan. Sobald es voll wurde, musste man vermehrt auf sich aufmerksam machen, wenn man noch was bestellen wollte. Das Personal war immer freundlich. Kartenzahlung ist ebenfalls ohne Probleme möglich.

Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich . Ich hatte mich auf den Kaiserschmarrn gefreut. Leider war er viel zu trocken und nicht so fluffig wie er sein sollte. Die Portion war für den Preis nicht angemessen und viel zu wenig Apfelmus, das war im höchstfall ein großer Servierlöffel. Vielleicht sollte man sich nochmal informieren, wie ein Kaiserschmarrn zubereitet wird. Der Wurst-Käsesalat nach Schweizer Art hat gut geschmeckt.

Das Essen ist insgesamt okay, aber eher Schnellrestaurantstyle! Das Schnitzel war sehr trocken gebraten, die Rippchen waren sehr salzig und leider nicht richtig durchgebraten - die Menge war okay!
