The restaurant staff was completely overwhelmed. The food was inedible. I cannot recommend it. The whole family is dissatisfied.

The service was quite good, the ambiance resembled a gymnasium, and the food was really only mediocre; the half-raw roast chicken and the dumplings were particularly disappointing.

The name says it all. Good, simple food, tasty beer (including the non-alcoholic kind), average service, the place is very crowded and noisy. The location is great and the price is reasonable.

It's absolutely outrageous! We arrive at the man with the glasses who's taking the table reservations, he looks us up and down and says, "We don't have room for you today," then tells us to please leave. How rude can you be? Simply shameless and disrespectful.

Actually, it's really good. Only the smelly toilet doesn't fit in with the Bavaria Alm.

A very pleasant atmosphere just outside Hildesheim, and also conveniently located for short motorway exits if you're passing through. The food is perfectly fine, but nothing special; the service is friendly, but a bit forgetful. My second drink only arrived after I reminded them, and it came with dessert. Ultimately, it's a very modern, professional restaurant concept with minor flaws in execution, but it was perfect for us while we were traveling through.

The cabin atmosphere with a fireplace is very pleasant. The extensive menu features many delicious Bavarian classics. We had a "Brotzeit" (excellent) and the "Molle," a kind of meat platter with fried potatoes. It's not light fare, but it's still delicious. The "Bratis" could have been a bit less greasy, but the Kaiserschmarren made up for it. Fair prices; we'll stop by again next time we're through.

Something different: German dishes with large portions and reasonable prices. Suitable for two or a large group. In summer, a terrace is also available, and parking is plentiful.

It's loud when it's full, but otherwise it's good for groups; the kitchen puts out a good meal even when there's something going on.

Four of us went to Bavaria Alm for dinner. We had three burgers and one rib, and everyone was very satisfied, even my visitor from Frankfurt. Everything went very well: the staff was friendly, and the food came quickly. The drinks, "Blackberry Spritz," were amazing. We were very satisfied and will be back.

I had pork shank and apple strudel, both were pretty good. The only thing I didn't enjoy much was there were not one, not two but THREE flies I killed during my meal. And there were more constantly flying around. Waiter was super nice and friendly, and the interior is pretty cool too!

We spontaneously met up with friends here while passing through in the early afternoon. The welcome felt truly inviting. The service was very attentive and prompt, but not intrusive. A big compliment also to the kitchen; the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back and keep up the good work.

Completely disappointed today. The meal took almost an hour despite the restaurant being lightly booked. Several of us were there and two meals arrived significantly later. The sauce for the schnitzel was as thin as water. After complaining, 30 minutes later they gave us a sauce that simply had a bit of cream added. The deputy manager came back with flimsy excuses and touched and hit me on the back. It's not that bad. After we found eggshells in the food, he actually said they weren't from around here. It couldn't be worse. The table service was very friendly and helpful. When I was paying, I wanted to speak to the so-called deputy manager again and express my displeasure. He said that it is normal practice to touch people in the restaurant industry. Such unreasonable and unfriendly behavior is completely unacceptable. Never, ever again from this restaurant chain. And I have enough followers who read my comments. Maybe there will be an apology.

Here, everything is just right: friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, and thoughtful food – no show, but with substance. The location is a real plus: a quiet, cozy terrace outside, and a large, central fireplace inside. Authentic. Unpretentious. Cozy. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

Well, it's a traditional restaurant. There's nothing to complain about. The Bavarians may forgive me if I've offended their language, but to present such a rustic culinary temple here north of the white sausage equator is a real blast. The food is delicious, the service attentive and very friendly. What more could you want?

Not anymore. The food is run-of-the-mill, but expensive. My family and I won't be coming back after many years. It's a shame.

I recently went there with a colleague for the first time in a long time, and I have to say that the Bavaria Alm is simply a fantastic restaurant. It has a lovely ambiance and a good, very large selection of dishes. The prices are on the higher end, but everything tastes excellent. My colleague had half a chicken, and I had the pretzel burger. The very friendly staff is also particularly noteworthy! I definitely recommend it.

It was okay, but the food was average. The sauce was very salty, and the salad could have been omitted. Service was good, the fries were okay. The burger was initially bad and then cold, but I've had better ones elsewhere. Drinks took 40 minutes to arrive, even though the shop was empty.

A hospitable restaurant, not far from the A7. With a Bavarian atmosphere and plenty of seating inside and outside. Everything was very clean, including the restrooms. Very friendly service. The food was very good. We had the cheese spaetzle with a small salad and a large dumpling filled with cheese in a herb sauce with broccoli and a salad. Very good value for money.

Yes, you can also get one meal for two people. I was super happy because I had a gastric sleeve, and a regular portion wouldn't fit. Before I had to return something, I asked if it was possible to get one portion for two. It worked without any problems.

Yes, the food was delicious, with a good selection and something for everyone. The only thing I have to complain about is that they only served one type of meat for brunch, which isn't to everyone's liking, especially because not everyone likes that particular type. Otherwise, a great atmosphere; I'll definitely go back for brunch, but you'll need to make a reservation.

Very tasty, hearty food, just the thing after today's hike 🙂 my special request, red cabbage and dumplings with the fried chicken, was fulfilled (btw it's a pleasure every time!). The two young ladies who looked after the terrace area outside were super friendly and accommodating. When a gentleman at the next table stood up to take a photo of the group, one of the wait staff immediately went there and offered to take the photo. Unfortunately, this is often experienced differently, so kudos for this attention! We'd love to come back.

Had lunch here with the two of us last Friday. The restaurant is located right on the A7, which is convenient if you are passing through. We were helped quickly and friendly. The restaurant looks beautiful and attractive. We didn't have to wait very long for our food which tasted very good. We will definitely come back here.

We were there for the brunch buffet. The restaurant is perfectly decorated and the service is impeccable! 🙂 As a vegetarian and especially considering the price, I would have been very happy with croissants, spaetzle, vegetarian sausages or white cabbage salad. You could also easily offer a drink, for example a glass of orange juice 🙂.

Update, we were back in the Alm 3 weeks ago. This time everything was okay. Our visit on September 21st around 10 p.m. was probably already too late for the service. Empty glasses on the table, tables not wiped down, cutlery missing. The empty glasses were not cleared away during our entire stay. Therefore one star for the presence of the service staff, one star for the ambience and 4 stars for the good food. Many thanks to the kitchen

The food is still great, only this time the schnitzel came to the table almost cold. I had ordered extra sauce, was forgotten and only came to the table when I asked when I had almost finished eating. It's a shame that the service and the good tone have fallen asleep. The two of us came in and asked if we could sit on the first gallery area. The answer: "No, today we're not doing anything up there, because that way I can save myself having to stumble up there..." ... The food came after 45 minutes... when we then pressed the no-tip option when paying, the waiter's farewell was also very unfriendly... We've had nicer evenings in the Bavaria

We were there for brunch. When we made the reservation we were asked if we would like pots of coffee to relieve the staff. We found the way of thinking very pleasant. It was very crowded. The staff very friendly and polite. Too few staff for so many guests. They all did their best. There was plenty of food and it was always refilled. The toilets are in the basement. The paper has now run out. A disabled-accessible toilet is on the same floor as the restaurant. We'd love to come back. 😊

Arrived from Brandenburg pretty broken. Then enjoyed the relaxation in the alpine pasture: had a delicious meal and went home. Disabled parking space, ramp to the entrance, barrier-free and disabled toilets available in the lower area. Always nice in the Alm!

We were here for the first time today, we were greeted in a very friendly manner, the service was very nice and courteous. The food was very tasty and fresh. The lady who was responsible for us here today (I asked her her name and she said Sabine) is just great! Always grinning, very friendly and you had the feeling that she loves her job and is happy to try to fulfill all our wishes... that's exactly how it works!!! We'd love to come back
