I like to go here for dinner with friends, it's delicious 💖 The staff is very friendly, they always ask if everything is okay or if they can do anything else to help.😃 You can really enjoy yourself here and unwind.

Way too loud! Yes, the acoustics in the room are bad, which could be improved significantly with a little material, but do you also have to turn the music up to full blast? We left again.

The food is delicious and there is something for everyone. Great to use for business meals too.

At the moment there are schnitzel dishes again. It takes a while until the ordered schnitzel is served, but it tastes very good. The service is friendly and attentive. The only thing that's a shame is that the flames are no longer on, so Café Del Sol's own sign is no longer lit. The best thing about sitting outside was the flames and the heat mushrooms.

Everyone should know the de Sol and have their own opinion about it. Perfect concept, perfect entrepreneurial performance. This goes hand in hand with convenience cuisine and excessive prices. Great for meeting and talking. Eat something while you're at it, just like that...

very expensive (3 people, 60€ and only one ate something real, otherwise had a side dish and 3 drinks) and bad service, we waited half an hour for our drinks and were freezing outside because the patio heaters weren't turned on even when asked and everything inside was full - the blankets didn't help either

So I don't like your self-promoting pricing policy at all! Why do you have to order the side dishes separately for the main courses and of course pay extra? What is presented here as an additional, customer-friendly choice is in reality just a hidden price increase! I also find it exaggerated that when describing the main course (for example the burgers) every insignificant lettuce leaf and every small slice of cucumber is listed individually. Should things that are taken for granted be presented as something special? And if we really take it seriously, instead of the specified tomato, of course only a slice of tomato is served. I ordered chili cheese fries as a side dish. In the end, these were a few regular fries swimming in a mess of sauce! There was no trace of the chili con carne listed! The meals should have been larger and cheaper. Conclusion: Price-performance ratio is absolutely inadequate!

I used to really love this place, but now the quality has deteriorated significantly. The food is getting worse every time and the prices have been increased several times and by unreasonable amounts in the last two years. Our last visit during the “schnitzel vacation” was particularly disappointing. The idea may be good, but it doesn't work in practice - it takes FOREVER before you can order a new schnitzel because the staff simply can't keep up. With many years of experience in the catering industry, I have particularly noticed many deficiencies: • The waiters seem overwhelmed, running back and forth hectically and almost colliding with guests. • For us, the food even came before the drinks + no cutlery – an absolute no-go! • The waiters had no idea about portion sizes and therefore couldn't give us proper advice. • Someone wanted to clear our table even though we were still eating. • Anyone who doesn't tip will be greeted with an annoyed eye roll. I know from my own experience how demanding working in the catering industry is. I feel all the more sorry for the employees who are obviously poorly trained and then make numerous mistakes under stress. My point of criticism is therefore not directed at the staff themselves, but at the management, which is clearly failing here. In summary, I can unfortunately say: This restaurant used to be really great, but now it's just disappointing. I won't come back again.

I've been to Cafe Del Sol several times now and unfortunately I see that the quality has deteriorated significantly. Prices have risen so much in recent years and quality has declined sharply. THE FOOD AND DRINKS: We ate schnitzel. What drew me to the store in the past was the consistent quality and people were willing to pay a certain price for that. The meat is no longer of the same quality as it used to be and unfortunately is more similar to what you get today at other fast food chains such as McDonald's, Burger King, etc. The food was also served much nicer. What bothers me personally is the composition of the food and sauce, as I usually have the feeling that the sauce is skimped on and the food appears too dry. The drinks have received another significant price increase. If you know anything about the catering industry, you know that the companies make their profit from the drinks. Combined with the fact that the food is sometimes borderline dry, I sometimes get the feeling that maybe it's intentionally dry so that you can sell the customer even more drinks. The drinks themselves are very tasty, but very expensive. THE SERVICE: It often happens that you have to wait a long time for a waiter to be served. The service staff often appear very stressed. It seems as if the waiters were not properly trained. Rolling your eyes in annoyance when you don't tip isn't necessarily polite either. There are guests who didn't enjoy their stay and that's completely okay. Getting your food before your drink is another negative aspect and shouldn't actually happen. However, this is not a problem with the service staff but with the general organization. Overall, I don't want to tackle the employees either, because it seems to me that this seems to be more of a management problem. THE AMBIENCE: Of course, many personal preferences come into play when it comes to the ambience. For me it feels like you're sitting in a train station when the store is full because it's extremely loud. I think it's also due to the high ceilings, which are not good if you want to minimize sound. CONCLUSION: Overall, I find a concept like Cafe Del Sol appealing IF it's done right. The prices, the quality, the service and the ambience are now too high for me personally. Therefore, this was our last visit to Cafe Del Sol today. I really hope that someone would take some time and rework the concept.

We were there yesterday for a "schnitzel vacation" and I have to say, it was super tasty... even our daughter really liked it and she praised the food👍☺️...even though she's a little picky otherwise... So keep it up!!! I can only recommend a visit with you 👍

Been there yesterday. and 1 hour Waited for drinks and the bar was not occupied. The nice waitresses walked around haphazardly and seemed to serve all the tables. Food came 1.5 hours later, schnitzel stress instead of schnitzel vacation....

The schnitzel is breaded and delivered frozen. So don't bread it yourself on site. That's how it tastes too. And for almost 19 euros. Never again. Terrible. You are a system catering company. Personal tip: At the Landgasthaus Willke in Borsum you can get a delicious and freshly breaded schnitzel for the same price. The way to Borsum is worth it :) I really like eating schnitzel there :)

My girlfriend and I were greeted warmly. The service was top. The staff had a friendly smile on their faces and were attentive and friendly. The food was tasty, as was the coffee and cake 🍰 ☺️

I was there on a Friday around 2 p.m. and the music produced an extremely unpleasant noise level of up to 70 dB. The request to turn it down a bit was rejected.

Never again. Service chased us from several tables. Absolutely impossible. My companion sees it exactly the same way

For me, the Café Del Sol chain is a pleasant place to go for a good breakfast buffet. It is very large, so you have a good chance of getting an unreserved seat. You can sit inside or outside. The service is very nice. I always enjoy coming back here.

The food was delicious, highly recommended. It was my first time here and I had a BBQ bacon burger that tasted really good. I was also very positively surprised by the ordering process, as you can also do this at the table using a QR code and save yourself the annoying social contact if you don't want to. Really great!

On Christmas Eve there was only brunch for dinner. The extensive menus are long on the table. If brunch was too much for you, you couldn't get anything else. Even a small soup was not served. That's not possible, you should at least point it out. I never enter the store again, especially since I only ordered a tea and took a small snack out of my bag to eat with it. It felt like the entire staff was watching me and I was immediately told not to eat!

Average food, nothing special. Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm, not really hot. All around good for a small bag. Unfortunately, the drinks are watery and the apple spritzer still needs some work. Parking works well.

We have been to Café del Sol several times, the atmosphere is always very cozy and the service is friendly. Today we went for breakfast for the first time and unfortunately I was disappointed. A loveless breakfast and what I don't like at all and the explanation wasn't logical either, the breakfast egg was ice cold and not freshly cooked. I don't like cold eggs for breakfast at all and have never had cold eggs in other cafes or hotels. The scrambled eggs on the other plates were warm and delicious. Why can scrambled eggs be served warm and a hard-boiled egg have to be cold? Doesn't make sense to me. Especially since it is served warm elsewhere.

Still good, service has gotten better. New management?!

Breakfast with family, always a pleasure

The menu is the same in all stores in this chain. In Hildesheim the service is very well organized and the dishes arrive at the table hot. Whenever we are in the area, we like to stop here.

Delicious. We ordered “Pinsa serrano” and wine. The order was delivered very quickly. This must be cut with scissors before consumption. Very interesting and unusual. Very friendly staff. We waited a long time for our bill. There are a lot of visitors and it is a bit noisy. In general I am very satisfied and will come back.

Leider war mein Besuch in diesem Restaurant enttäuschend. Der Service war äußerst unaufmerksam und langsam. Wir mussten lange auf unsere Bestellung warten, obwohl das Restaurant nicht übermäßig voll war. Die Kellnerin war nicht nur unfreundlich, sondern schien auch wenig Interesse an unseren Bedürfnissen zu haben. Auch das Ambiente konnte die Servicequalität nicht wettmachen. Insgesamt war es eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung, und ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht noch einmal besuchen.

We were there for breakfast today. On a positive note, the staff is very attentive and friendly. We found it negative that a normal roll is more expensive than a grain roll. If you, as a vegetarian, don't want sausage, you don't get a little more cheese than the others....it's a shame....so stars are deducted.... Toilet smells a bit......

Ready-made schnitzels that are just thrown into the deep fryer. Unsalted fries are soggy. The other portions of my people were also partly lukewarm and slapped down. It would be just about ok if it were a kebab shop with a third of the price. But that's just bottomless!

It's been a while since I've been back to Del Sol. Despite all the stress, the service staff are really friendly and really try hard. In terms of the ambience, you have to be able to get used to it, as it is very loud, especially in the evening. You just have to like it. What bothered me most personally was the price-performance ratio of the food. I think it's cheeky to charge just under 12 euros for a small bowl of romaine lettuce with 3 small slices of baguette bread, a few croutons and 6 small falafel balls. Charging the syrup for a coffee drink at +1 euro is too much for me. I know everything has become more expensive, but please be realistic.

Unfortunately we were disappointed with our visit to Café del Sol. Despite our repeated requests, the heaters were not turned on - even though it was cold and we, as paying guests, would have expected a little more comfort. The staff were polite, but apparently the decision rests with the boss, who clearly has no interest in providing a pleasant atmosphere for the guests. It's a shame that little attention is paid to the needs of the guests here.

You have to read the menu very carefully and ask questions if necessary, because the pictures don't really correspond to what you can order. At best, the service can help. The food itself is delicious, parking is also okay and you can also sit outside under a roof.

Were here for the first and last time, everything was actually ok. But in terms of food, not really recommended, unless you have no expectations. The schnitzel is dry and the fries are lukewarm. The burgers didn't taste any better than at the fast food joint. Conclusion: OK for a cafe, but not good for food.

The food is good as usual, as is the ambience. We love coming to a Café del Sol, no matter where. But what needs to be particularly mentioned here is the exceptionally professional and friendly service. Without exception, every waitress was extremely polite, attentive and eloquent. This immediately made you feel more comfortable and valued. Unfortunately it's rarely seen these days, so kudos to the team.

Cafe Del Sol lives from the facility and the location. The service is below average, the pins are getting smaller and the prices are rising. For me, Del Sol stands for “hui on the outside, yuck on the inside”. Price-performance is really underground in the Del Sol! Editing the review after feedback from Del Sol; Instead of taking the feedback seriously, people talk about “quality” here. So you want to tell me “pay €15 for 2 pieces of organic dough, the main thing is quality”. That's not the point of the matter. In another review, the customer “Farzan” complains about the absolutely cheeky few fries with the burger and you say “So that there is still room in your stomach for the other delicacies. However, you are welcome to reorder. You shouldn’t starve here”…. Are you serious? Who wants to pay €15 for a meal and then have to reorder it X times? You can just tell how little customer oriented Del Sol is. Instead of the customer being adequately satisfied, he has to order again so that the cash register rings. Wow!

We were there yesterday evening, it was very tasty but we have never been in such a dirty Cafe del Sol. The toilets were dirty, the lamps on the wall were completely full of cobwebs and the window sills were also dusty and full of dead animals.

Really nice shop. A bit noisy and often full, but I would say that being so crowded speaks for itself. The food is completely ok and the selection of drinks too. From Tuesday to There's plenty of schnitzel on Thursday... I think that's really good. However, the portions are relatively large, so you can't manage more than one more schnitzel anyway (i.e. me). I also like the atmosphere outside in summer. I'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, Café de Sol was not convincing. We were there with 6 people on a Friday evening, the order was taken incorrectly... okay, that can happen. But then discussing it with the guests is uncool. The salad we ordered was mediocre. I don't expect frozen pomegranate seeds at these prices. The rest of the food was good.

I'm really disappointed. The taste of the food has diminished and even though the service is quite nice, we had to wait an hour for our food for the second time. All the waiting makes you feel hungry and the cocoa is also brought to you cold.

Super tasty breakfast. However, all the plates and spoons were missing for a while. That shouldn't happen in a restaurant like this. The explicit request for an O juice in a glass larger than 0.2 was also denied. There are glasses larger than 0.2 in the restaurant. Then you should also fulfill the guest's wish. Not good service. Cheese was gone for 20 minutes. When asked about it afterwards, they only responded by filling it up.

Unfortunately, it's as loud as in a train station hall. This could easily be remedied by installing acoustic elements, especially on the ceiling.

Dishes are on high tables in the middle, out of reach for small people. Food is replenished quickly. Unfortunately, when scrambled eggs are filled up, they are not cleaned in between.

So We chose the café because neither of us had been there before and wanted to try it out... In terms of ambience, it looked great, but there was music playing in the background, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but it was just way too loud, making it more than difficult to have a normal conversation. In terms of service...they were always trying hard. We reserved a table three days in advance and it was neither shown to us nor given to us, what did we even reserve for?? It took 10 minutes plus before we could even order the drinks, but after that everything came quite quickly. The food and drinks were very tasty. Paid around 40 euros for a lasagne, chicken burger with fries, raspberry iced tea, hot chocolate and a cola. Would give the store another chance in the hope that the service would be a little better and you could have a normal conversation. The toilets were clean. All in all 3/5 stars for me.

Another sad experience. There wasn't much going on at breakfast brunch. Nevertheless, the service staff didn't manage to take our order after 25 minutes. Please think twice about whether the €19.50 without drinks is being spent correctly here.

So unfortunately you hardly get anything for your money. We couldn't understand how anyone could save money on plain fries. So the plate is only half full and the meal is more expensive. Then drinks don't come or are forgotten. You might be under time pressure, especially at lunchtime. Service staff friendly, but slightly overwhelmed. And the standard answer; Next time we'll do it better... it doesn't really do much good if you just don't come back at all. Too bad.

The three of us were at Café del Sol. I ordered a raspberry pomegranate iced tea. The photo in the drink menu and the actual drink were almost two different drinks. See photos. Raspberry pomegranate juice + blackberries. There are tons of blackberries in the photo, there are actually 2 in the drink, in words two 🫣. When asked, it was said that only 2 pieces are intended for this 😀. She then brought me a few more ☝🏻👍🏻. At least the service was otherwise good, even though I got the wrong burger. But it was quickly exchanged. However, the burger was priced high at €11.90 for the really minimal occupancy 🤷🏻‍♂️. This price includes fries, for example. Before Corona, Café del Sol was really perfect. Actually so-so now. But the service staff were attentive and really friendly.

Main courses were okay but the prices are not reasonable. The dessert in particular was absolutely not recommended for the prices. Service staff seemed slightly overwhelmed and was difficult to reach, even though it wasn't even full that Sunday.

Well - changed order taken but not prepared as requested. So the food goes back and has to be re-arranged. My food was okay and I'll start. We wait - and wait - and wait... After 30 minutes we asked - it was newly prepared but delivered to a different table - so no food to be expected. It is prepared again and brought to the table after no less than 1 hour. The point of a meal together is to eat together. The accommodating non-calculation of the second dish doesn't help either.

We were happy to be back with our dog cart, top service, super delicious food.
