There were six of us + toddler + baby. Had pre-ordered and specified the children. We received a very friendly welcome, the table and child seat were prepared. The entire time the service was very friendly and helpful! The food, all three courses ;-), was very good and appealing in terms of taste and presentation. We felt completely comfortable, hence full marks from us.

A really great shop and very courteous service. The kitchen knows what it is doing.

Food was really very good. The service was super friendly and pleasant. The only drawback was the waiting time. You had to wait for the order, the drinks and the longest time for the food. We really sat for 2 hours for 1 drink and main course. So bring your time!

Yesterday, I went to the restaurant Kleine Charlotte with my girlfriend. Ordering wasn't easy, as some dishes weren't even orderable. I pre-ordered a tuna ceviche. The ceviche wasn't marinated for long enough, meaning the acid didn't cook for long enough. The waiter called the head chef, who is also the restaurant's manager. He listened to my question and, in response, asked us to leave. Unbelievable!

We went to this small, cozy restaurant last night because the "Indo-European" inspired menu really appealed to us, and we weren't disappointed. Both the antipasti plate and the vegetarian main courses were spicy, tasty and beautifully presented. In addition, the hosts are very attentive and warm. We'll definitely be back!

Our visit to this restaurant was a big disappointment - especially on Valentine's Day. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by an intense toilet smell that permeated the entire room. Despite making a reservation early, we were assigned a table right at the door. Because of the constant coming and going of guests, it was uncomfortably cold there. In addition, the bench at our table was extremely uncomfortable - completely unacceptable for a restaurant in this price range. The food is quite expensive, which suggests that the operators have big ambitions. But the taste of the food was average at best, and the presentation was more reminiscent of a fast food restaurant than an upscale establishment. The condition of the toilets was particularly negative. There was only one toilet for all guests, the room was carelessly and cheaply furnished, there was no soap, the lights flickered - overall a very unkempt impression. Added to this was the completely unprofessional service. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed, as if she had worked in the restaurant industry for the first time in her life. She understood neither our questions nor our wishes and seemed generally disoriented. Given this experience, it is incomprehensible why this restaurant has such good reviews. She definitely doesn't deserve it.

Very tasty food and excellent staff

Es war einfach fantastisch – die Gerichte sind äußerst lecker, vielfältig und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Wir hatten den Lachs in Smoked Haube, Tataki, die Tarte Flambée und den Kaiserschmarrn – ein absoluter Traum! Der Service ist extrem nett und aufmerksam, was man in Berlin nicht oft erlebt. Der Besitzer und Koch nimmt sich sogar die Zeit, um die Gäste persönlich zu begrüßen und nachzufragen, ob alles zu ihrer Zufriedenheit ist. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair, denn die Qualität der Speisen und der Service sind ihr Geld definitiv wert. Ein echtes Highlight in der Berliner Gastronomieszene! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

I have now been to Kleine Charlotte twice with friends and can highly recommend it. All dishes are prepared and served with so much love. The selection is great and the owner is just nice and warm. I look forward to many more meals with you!

We happened to pass by here on our last visit to Berlin and were immediately impressed. Very tasty crossover cuisine that the boss cooks himself and the service was also very good. A real recommendation.

There was a buffet with Sri Lankan food. I tasted everything wonderful and the service was fantastic. However, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right for me.

Wonderful little restaurant with refined and positively surprising cuisine, very good service! The only negative thing we noticed, and therefore only four stars, is that this restaurant also follows the extremely annoying trend of charging absurd prices for mineral water (in this case €7.50 for a bottle). We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday there in January. It was a very nice day. The food, the service, the ambience was great. The boss (cook) spoiled the guests with homemade cakes, delicious starters, the ox cheeks and the salmon tartare were a dream and of high quality. You can celebrate comfortably with 16 people, the boss always has an open ear. I can only recommend this little restaurant. All guests were more than satisfied. Thank you again.

Wow. So this is actually star cuisine, and in a beautiful ambience too. You can't get these dishes in the same form anywhere else. The menu is relatively compact but contains quite a variety of dishes. The ingredients are excellent and what is made with them is truly art. And: the prices are fair and the owner is really nice and accommodating without being intrusive.

Went to little Charlotte with the family today. It was a perfect evening, the food was great and we all enjoyed it very much. Everyone had a different meal and no one had anything to complain about 👍we'll be back, we promise

Eine kleine inhabergeführte Restauration mit angenehmer, unaufgeregter Atmosphäre und crossover Küche. Tolle knackige Vorspeise „Sardellen im Parmesanmantel“, auch die Hauptgerichte „Gefüllte Aubergine“ und „Gemüsevariation mit knusprigem Huhn“ überzeugten in Qualität, Geschmack und ansprechender Präsentation. Sehr freundlicher Service, der keine Frage unbeantwortet ließ - wir kommen gern wieder!

Wow what a nice surprise, the flavours were amazing, so many layers and little taste explosions, I haven't had such tasty, flavoury food in a long time. Ich habe lang überlegt, ob ich eine Rezension schreiben soll - so ein Geheimtipp hat ja tatsächlich was gutes... und so geheim bleibt er ja nun nicht... Allein: Der Betreiber verdient jedes Lob! Und loben kann man an und in diesem Lokal tatsächlich alles! Man merkt dem Essen an, dass es von jemandem zubereitet wird, dem es ein echtes Anliegen ist, aus aller Welt Einflüsse gekonnt aufzunehmen, um seinen Gästen ein wunderbares kulinarisches Erlebnis zu bieten. Die Preise sind in Anbetracht der Gegenleistung aber sowas von fair!

Abgestimmte Gerichte, gute Qualität der Zutaten. Manche mögen die Preise als hoch empfinden. Entscheidend ist indes, was man dafür bekommt. Und das ist durchaus eine adäquate Gegenleistung. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir haben spontan reserviert.. draußen.. wunderbar.. schön gedeckte Tische .. ein hervorragender Service .. und die Speisen.. hmmm .. so gut .. werde ich bedenkenlos jetzt im Freundeskreis weiter empfehlen..

Ein schöner Abend mit gutem Essen und Wein

Phantastisches Essen für alle Sinne. Jeder Teller ist wunderschön und liebevoll angerichtet und im Gaumen eine echte Geschmacksexplosion. Selbst „klassisch“ klingende Gerichte bekommen durch die Gewürzkombination des hervorragenden Koches eine neue Dimension! Jedes Gericht wird von ihm , mit viel Liebe und Ruhe, zubereitet und serviert. Das ganze Team ist ist freundlich und von einer fröhlichen Offenheit, wie ich sie noch nie in Restaurants erlebt habe. Schade, dass ich nicht in Berlin lebe, ich wäre Dauergast!!!! Unbedingt hingehen und erleben (aber vorher reservieren 😉)!

Mein Lieblingsort ! Der Inhaber ist ein phantastischer Koch und ein unglaublich herzlicher Mensch . Das gesamte Team ist einfach unglaublich aufmerksam . Das Essen ist sehr abwechslungsreich und einfach nur köstlich ! Alles wird frisch zubereitet und begeistert mich immer wieder . Die Tageskarte bietet zusätzliche Highlights und ergänzt perfekt die kleine aber sehr feine Karte . Für mich ist es ein Ort des Genusses ! Ein absoluter Geheimtipp!

Beste Bewirtschaftung, sehr gute Atmosphäre

Der Inhaber aus Sri Lanka hat in Sterneküchen gelernt und produziert für einen stets zu spät kommenden Lieferservice und dem eigenen Restaurant hervorragend angerichte Crossover-Küche aus sehr guten Zutaten. Wir speisten köstlichen Couscous mit vielen Kichererbsen, Möhren, Erbsen und Mais, dazu gab es sehr gut gewürzten Broccoli, Avocado, Möhrensalat und Rotkohlsalat, garniert mit frischen Kräutern, Chili und sehr leckerem Maishuhn. Als Vorspeise gab es frittierte Sardellen mit Aioli und mit scharfem Skyr gefüllte Aubergine mit Walnuss, Granatapfelkernen und Minze. Dann gönnten wir uns noch sehr guten Kaiserschmarrn mit wirklich schön gewürztem, selbst gemachten Pflaumenkompott. Auch sehr fein, für mich aber etwas zu süß. Die Käseplatte mit diversen Blättern und Tomaten rundete das Mahl ab.

Wir waren bei unserem ersten Besuch in der Kleinen Charlotte heute wirklich begeistert: sehr freundlicher Service, ausgezeichnete französische Pizza, Hauptgerichte: Octopus Salat und geschmorte Aubergine empfehlenswert, sehr persönliche Atmosphäre. Erstaunlich, dass uns dieses kleine, feine Restaurant nicht schon früher aufgefallen ist. Wir kommen wieder.

Schon lange nicht mehr so ein freches Personal erlebt. Das Essen ist ok, aber die Preise passen einfach gar nicht dazu. Meine Empfehlung gibt 1000 bessere Läden mit Menschen die Ahnung von Service haben und die Preise nicht so astronomisch sind

Auf den ersten Blick etwas unscheinbar, aber sehr gemütlich und sehr zuvorkommender unaufdringlicher Service. Und das Essen ist einfach sensationell gut. Wir hatten die Tortellini und Pasta mit Burrata, wir sind vor lauter Lobeshymnen gar nicht mehr zum Essen gekommen 😉 das war auf jeden Fall nicht unser letzter Besuch hier. Top Empfehlung!

Little place with marvellous food and a very welcoming staff. For gourmet rendezvous the best place I can recommend, their food is a treat for the eye and certainly for the taste buds. I have to say that you will have to wait a while for the food, but the atmosphere, the welcoming staff and the food are definitely worth the wait - after all, this is a place where you go not only to eat, but more importantly to ENJOY the food and have a good time.

Not recommendable, 1 hour and 15 mins waiting for the dishes when we were the first ones of the night, no still water left already at 19h and only 2 kind of wines to choose, the food is not very exciting. Waiters are nice.

Eine wunderschöne kleine Perle mitte im Herzen Charlottenburgs! Sehr gepflegt, tolle Karte - tolle Gerichte! Hier zeigt der Chef noch persönlich seine Liebe und Leidenschaft zum Essen! Rundum ein gelungener Besuch! Die Floskel „klein aber fein“ bekommt hier einen völlig neuen Stellenwert! Ein Besuch lohnt sich zu jeder Tageszeit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und hoffen dann auch einen Platz zu ergattern. Eine frühe Reservierung ist in der Zukunft dieser kleinen Charlotte sicherlich von Nöten.
