We had lunch at Kitchens Of India today and were greeted in a very friendly manner. The staff are very child-friendly and the food was extremely delicious! Absolutely recommended. We'd love to come back. :)

We order here often and the food is really, really good! The delivery sometimes takes a little longer (to Borgfeld 60-90 minutes) but if you know that, you can plan for it and so far it has always been worth it!!!

A very good and atmospheric place for a romantic dinner for two as well as for family lunches or dinners, the food is very good, a large selection on the menu, even for vegetarians you will find something, so I recommend it

The two of us have been there for the long menu and with a group to share curries and often get food for home. And Kitchens of India was great for all occasions! A cozy evening for two and a sociable get-together in a group - both fit here. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared and the service is really friendly. The wines and other drinks are also great.

Waited 2 hours to get burnt food at the end. I ordered butter chicken, which tasted okay, but it wouldn't have burned so much of it. No idea what that was supposed to be, definitely not firni, I absolutely cannot recommend dessert for the first time and the last time ordered here. Service is also unfortunately very poor, we call the first time, we are told 5 minutes and 30 minutes later we are still not there, instead of apologizing they just explain that there is a lot going on on a Sunday. The delivery provider knows that there is a lot going on on Sundays, so why not prepare for this beforehand?! Sorry that I had no reason to wait two hours for my food to spend over €60 that ended up being delivered burnt.

The soups and curries are very tasty. Even though delivery times often vary, the food is always delicious and fresh.

Were here for the Sunday buffet. Very good, varied food. The selection is also good for vegetarians. Great service in all areas. Would love to come back.

We reserved a table for 6:30 p.m. today on the restaurant's website. We also received a confirmation email. At the specified time we stood in front of a locked door. There was a sign in the window that said “closed this afternoon due to illness.” I am disappointed that you cannot switch off the reservation process in the event of illness. So we could have saved ourselves the 30 km journey. We then tried to get a table at other Indian restaurants on a Saturday evening... Impossible... Unfortunately we drove home hungry and disappointed.

Aside from the fact that the food looked like it had been eaten before, the taste was fine. It was a bit monotonous, but still acceptable.

Let the chef choose what I would eat. I have been a chef for many years and being creative goes well with freedom. Surprised by what I got and how delicious it was. The dish was not on the menu but was really a mix of everything. Then I became a bit afraid of the price, but this was unjustified. In short, a great meal, the chef's choice for a price that was even on the low side.

We had dinner in the restaurant on Monday evening and everyone was very impressed - both the food and the service were very good! I would also like to highlight the clearly marked selection of vegetarian dishes here. Thank you for this delicious evening!

We were in this restaurant for the first time yesterday. It was impressive how friendly and courteous we were served. You immediately felt comfortable. The food was also very tasty and the portions were generous. The price/performance ratio is great. We will of course come back. Recommendation 100%

Seit meiner guten Bewertung von 2019 sind wir oft hier gewesen und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Beim letzten Besuch war nun alles anders. Die Preise wurden kräftig erhöht, aber gut, das gibt es woanders auch. Allerdings stimmt das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht mehr. Als wir ankamen waren 2 Tische besetzt. Trotzdem haben wir ewig warten müssen, um zumindest einmal zu bestellen. Die Servicekräfte waren offenbar völlig überfordert. Dabei waren sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt in der Überzahl. Unsere Getränke wurden vergessen... kamen dann auf Nachfrage, nachdem Gäste, die nach uns kamen, ihre Getränke schon erhalten hatten. Nun gut. Das Essen war in Ordnung, geschmacklich aber kein Erlebnis und kaum gewürzt. Dann kam wieder der Service ins Spiel. Wir baten um die Rechnung und wurden....richtig, vergessen. Der Nachbartisch fragte nach uns nach der Rechnung und war vor uns mit Bezahlen fertig. Und dann war man nicht in der Lage, die Rechnung zu trennen. Wir mussten selbst rechnen. Schade, das Lokal war mal toll, aber mich wird man dort nicht wieder sehen.

It used to be my favorite Indian... now the prices have been increased, but the service has become inattentive and forgetful. The food is okay but too expensive. It's a shame, it used to be great, but it has deteriorated incredibly.

1 out of 5 stars! Nothing about the food was appetizing, as it arrived at our house already expired (after waiting over 90! minutes). The dishes are simply far too expensive for such poor quality. We ordered 3 different dishes, they all looked the same and tasted the same. Palak paneer is usually served as a green curry but arrived as a tomato curry. The meat dish consisted of rice with tomato sauce with 5 pieces of meat!! And the vegetarian dish was missing cashews and raisins. Also, naan was not included. Indian cuisine is known for its spices and unfortunately this meal had nothing in common with Tasty Food of India.

There were two of us visiting and we were looking forward to a lovely evening. After we placed our order for drinks, appetizers and main course, the drinks came quite quickly. The starter was a long time coming. The waiter walked past our table several times; there were maybe 6 tables occupied in the entire restaurant. When we pointed out to him that we had already been waiting for an hour, he said we had been forgotten by the kitchen. It's not nice, but mistakes happen, but at least an apology for the long waiting time would be appropriate. But nothing came of this; instead, they reacted rather aggressively to the demand. So we ended up waiting 1 1/2 hours for the starters and were ignored after they were served. 10 minutes later we asked for the main course and were then asked to place the order again. That was finally enough for us, we just wanted to pay and leave. We pointed out that we were dissatisfied with the service and did not find the interaction to be customer-friendly. The only answer to that is clumsy: “We are very customer-friendly” - Ah yes. I can't say much about the food, the starters weren't particularly great but they were okay. After this visit we will not enter the restaurant again.

I had ordered Palak paneer (spinach) and naan. But when I received the food, I was in disbelief that anyone with an “Indian” restaurant would call that Palak Paneer. That’s the first time I saw red palak panner curry with spinach floating. The naan was dry more like papadam. I will share a picture what an original palak paneer (right) looks like and what I got delivered (left). It is ironic that the name is “Tasty Food of India” and what I get delivered is the most bland and unsalted and flavorless food I have ever tasted even though I specially requested to make it spicy. This is the first time in my life I have thrown food, it was inedible. I had ordered palak paneer (spinach) and naan. But when I got the food, I couldn't believe that someone who owns an "Indian" restaurant would call this palak paneer. This was the first time I saw red palak panner curry with floating spinach. To say this food is shocking is an understatement ordered a lamb madras the toughest of meats I’ve tried to eat and about as flavoursome as a flip flop. I hate leaving bad reviews but after only managing a couple of spoonfuls I gave up on the quest and put it where it deserves to be in the bin. £17 quid wasted but didn’t want to put my body through the pain

Ordered food. Unfortunately, I had entered the wrong delivery address in the app. Only noticed when the delivery was already on the way. After a short phone call, the food arrived a little later at the newly communicated address. Very accommodating at no additional cost. Great contact on the phone, was able to help quickly. Thanks! Of course, the food was again super tasty. I can only recommend. Something for every taste.

The buffet on Sunday is a real experience. Staff and boss always friendly. Food always tastes good. We will be back. Unfortunately, I now have to report that the quality and taste have deteriorated. You can't order the same thing every week and it tastes different every time. Sometimes oily, sometimes hotter, sometimes mostly peppers in the dish, etc., so I've never had the same thing (does the kitchen change all the time??). We are very disappointed 😞 and will not be ordering there again for the time being.

Had dinner there with several people. We liked it very much. Since we were a kind of closed society, a buffet was set up for us. The food was very good and varied. There was something for everybody. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would have to complain about would be that it became very warm and stuffy in the room over time. Especially while eating. Overall, I can recommend the store to everyone.

Sehr nettes Personal, das Essen war vorzüglich. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Die Atmosphäre in dem Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm.

Wir waren am Ostersonntag zum Buffet "All you can eat" im KITCHENS OF INDIA und waren sowohl von der Angebotsauswahl als auch der Präsentation sehr angetan. Die Speisen waren besonders schmackhaft zubereitet. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten am Tag zuvor einige Gerichte für ein Familienfest nach Hause bringen lassen. Das Essen wurde pünktlich geliefert und war mundgerecht verpackt. Zwei Getränke wurden kostenlos dazugegeben.

The food is delicious, always hot and the portions are generous. Unfortunately, we were dissatisfied when ordering twice in a row. Instead of the specified 45 to 60 minutes, we had to wait over 90 minutes and ask by phone. Apparently the orders had ended up in the spam folder.

Ordered for the first time and it was super tasty… Ordered the second time and the food was not edible, just too spicy. After a long discussion on the phone we got a new meal, which strangely enough was very tasty. Ordered the third time and specifically wrote, please not spicy again (we didn't order spicy food either, the first time it wasn't that damn spicy) and again it was so damn bad that I just gave up, I never order there again, apart from the fact that we waited 1 1/2 hours for food and then didn't even manage to eat. We also noticed that every time we ordered the food was prepared differently (we always ordered the same thing), sometimes it was extremely oily, sometimes not, sometimes there were a lot of green peppers in it, sometimes not at all. We wouldn't have ordered again if the food hadn't been so good the first time. Unfortunately, the worse food now predominates, so we're out of there and no one will see us anymore.

I ordered on Lieferando, but couldn't leave a review there... I was so impressed by the service that I'm leaving a comment about it. The food tasted very tasty especially for the price, I got free naan and the portion was very large. The food was delivered 40 minutes earlier than stated and the delivery person was super nice and very personable. From now on I will always order here when I feel like Indian food :)

I spent New Year's Eve here with nice people and were able to eat our fill at the buffet for a small price. I was thrilled with the selection and what impressed me the most was the dessert...

After two hours there was still nothing. When asked, they said we didn't answer instead of simply canceling the delivery order. It's a shame, it was always delicious, but you lost us as customers.

Wir haben über Lieferando bestellt, bezahlt und zwei Stunden auf das Essen gewartet. Leider wurde nichts geliefert und auch die Rückerstattung von 30 Euro ist bisher nicht erfolgt.

Wir hatten hier heute einen tollen Abend. Das Ambiente ist schön und wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker, wir hatten absolut nichts auszusetzen. Insbesondere die sehr große Auswahl an vegetarischen / veganen Gerichten ist super, in der Karte sollte aber jeder fündig werden! Wir kommen sicher wieder 😊

Gutes Essen, angenehme ruhige Armosphäre, sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Leider sehr wechselhaft. Wir haben schon über 10 mal dort bestellt, da es in Schwachhausen/Findorf keine vernünftige Alternative gibt. Leider ist die Qualität extrem wechselhaft: von sehr gut bis kaum genießbar ist alles dabei, und das interessanter Weise bei ein und demselben Gericht (zB der Allinone salad oder Das Butter Chicken). Heute war es zum Beispiel total versalzen. Die Konsistenz der Saucen ist ganz allgemein eher nicht so mein Ding, das kenne ich von anderen Indern homogener. Insgesamt hatten wir jetzt eine längere Pause gemacht, um zu sehen, ob es besser wird. Leider nein, die Bestellung heute war ein Reinfall. Im Restaurant selbst waren wir auch schon 2 Mal zum Sonntagsbuffet. Das fanden wir eigentlich sehr gut.

2 std auf das Essen gewartet. Keine Entschuldigung nichts. Aussage vom Lieferanten: hatte die falsche Adresse…. Kann man nicht anrufen ? Und wenn wir uns schon bei euch melden, dann auch mal sich drum kümmern, dass ihr Fehler behoben wird ? Nicht empfehlenswert der Laden.

Lieferservice: ach du jemine, der Fahrer findet die Adresse mitten in der Stadt nicht und eiert 30 min durch die Gegend - Essen ist kalt… Und leider auch wenig schmackhaft, eine sehr wässrige Soße mit unüblichen Zutaten. Wir werden das auf jeden Fall künftig meiden!

Ich habe mir nur eine Kleinigkeit bestellt, die aber verdammt lecker und trotz 30 Minuten Verspätung immer noch sehr heiß war. Man wird auch relativ satt und das für gerade mal 35€. 1 Stern Abzug wegen der Verspätung..Sonst war alles bestens. Gerne wieder 🤙🏻😊👍🏻

Hervorragendes Essen. Ich habe schon verschiedene Leckereien hier gegessen. Sie schmecken alle sehr gut. Der Service ist hervorragend. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich. Die Ambiente ist nicht zu toppen. Immer wieder gern. Empfehlung mit 5 Sternen in jeder Hinsicht.

Sehr nette Bedienung, es wurden alle Fragen freundlich und ausführlich beantwortet. Trotzdem das viele Gäste anwesend waren, war es sehr ruhig und gemütlich.

Cannot understand the negative reviews. We had a lovely dinner here. Taste was authentic and food sufficiently spicy. Service and atmosphere were great. Price/value ratio is also good. The restaurant was very busy on a weekday evening and also around lunchtime the next day when we walked by, seems to be popular amongst locals. Recommended.

Eine Karte in der eigentlich jeder fündig wird. Ich fand es ein sehr gutes und gelungenes Gesamtpaket. Die Räumlichkeiten sind hübsch gestaltet, der Empfang und Service war freundlich und humorvoll und das Essen extrem lecker und reichhaltig. Ich war nach meinem Essen sehr gut gesättigt! Ich für mich kann dieses Restaurant, ohne Bedenken, weiterempfehlen!

Mein Lieblingsinder in Bremen. Ich bin hier total gerne! Der Chef ist wahnsinnig nett, zuvorkommend, flott und ist einfach gut drauf. Mit Sicherheit gibt es günstigere Restaurants und vielleicht auch optisch „andere“, dennoch hat jeder Laden seinen Charme und man muss ihn nehmen wie er ist. Mir gefallen Deko und Interieur sehr gut. Ich liebe es hier zu sein :)

Wir besuchen regelmäßig KOI. Wir waren immer zufrieden mit dem frischen und leckerem Essen dort. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, das Essen sehr frisch , der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen immer gerne ☺️

Gutes Sonntagsbuffet mit Suppe, Salat, frittiertem Gemüse (Pakora), drei Sorten Fladenbrot (Papadam, Naan und ein weiteres etwas dickeres), Soßen/Dips, sowohl Fleisch als auch vegetarisch etwas dabei, zB Hähnchen Palak Paneer und Dessert. In einem freundlichen, familiären Umfeld und zu einem angemessenen Preis. Die Fleischstücke mit Knochen sowie die indischen Desserts sind nicht so meins, dennoch sehr abwechslungsreich und mehr als satt geworden.

Insgesamt 2 Std Wartezeit, nach telefonischer Rückfrage kam die Info, dass es noch ca. 15 Min. dauert. Es waren dann noch einmal knapp 60 Min. Das Essen war recht teuer, lauwarm und hat leider nicht sonderlich gut geschmeckt. Ich hätte 1,5 Sterne gegeben wenn es ginge. Das Fleisch (2 versch. Lamm) war zäh und die Saucen wenig gut gewürzt. Den zweiten Stern gibts weil es Samstag Abend war (wahrscheinlich gewesen dort) und vielleicht hätte die Sauce ja besser geschmeckt, wenn sie wärmer gewesen wäre. Trotzdem- werde dort sicher nicht mehr bestellen. Preis-Leistung passt nicht.

Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung und angemessen große Portionen. Reis und Naan konnten erneut geordert werden, wenn nötig, was bei uns aber nicht der Fall war. Gut gewürzt! Ambiente auch recht schick. Keine Probleme und klare Regeln mit City-4-Two. Es hat uns sehr gefallen!

Man wird immer sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen. Die Gerichte, die wir bis jetzt bestellt hatten, waren alle frisch zubereitet, sehr schmackhaft und reichhaltig. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Personal ist mega nett, das Essen sehr lecker. Die Karte ist umfangreich aber dennoch gut beschrieben und Zusatzstoffe sind direkt unten gekennzeichnet. Preise sind gut.

Unheimlich Teuer und wenig auf dem Teller.... Alles wird mit Reis serviert. Ohne Reis wären es nur wenige Stücke Fleisch und n Klecks Soße...

Wir bestellten oft bei Kitchens of India , zu Hause kommt das Essen immer noch heiss an , schmeckt immer sehr gut und es ist dazu noch eine große Portion. Das Buffet ist auch immer reichlich, es gibt natürlich auch vegetarische Optionen.
