Forced service, but food was tasty

A somewhat surprising menu with a mix of Asian and Italian dishes. The vegetables in the Thai red curry were crisp, and the rice was (unnecessarily) dressed with yellow curry. It tasted good, in keeping with the expectation that it wasn't an Asian restaurant. The pizza was unpretentious, without a lasting impression. For dessert, a clever combination with an attached ice cream parlor. Very friendly and attentive staff. The ambiance was modern, like a furniture store, and clean.

We were just passing through and didn't feel like fast food. A good and very tasty alternative. We'd go back anytime.

Delicious food at a reasonable price.

I was at Kitchen 74 for the first time this afternoon. Super delicious food, delicious drinks, and the outdoor seating is great in the summer. I'll be back 👍

My expectations were higher based on the reviews. The homemade mango soda contained, at most, a mango-flavored syrup. The food is okay, but doesn't taste anything special; it tastes more like a ready-made sauce from a supermarket. I also find a pizza margarita for €13 simply too expensive.

This was our second time there. The food selection is good and simply a little different. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The homemade lemonades are also worth mentioning.

We were there yesterday, Sunday afternoon, and we were absolutely thrilled. The young, blonde waitress was super nice and kept her composure when the older lady at the next table whined and returned her food – some people could learn a thing or two from such competent waitresses! The food was super delicious and fresh, served incredibly quickly, and the price was absolutely reasonable. We'd love to come back, but we'll drive over an hour to get to you :)

Very delicious food, cozy environment and friendly staff.

The food was okay, but the staff was unfortunately very unfriendly. We were served by three waiters in total, and unfortunately, they all seemed annoyed. The two female servers, in particular, were constantly pulling faces. I place great value on respectful and friendly interactions – unfortunately, I missed that here. For this reason, this will probably be the last visit for my friends and me.

Highly recommended. The ideal alternative to a rest stop. The restaurant is a two-minute drive from the highway.

The restaurant is not far from the Fulda Mitte exit of the A7 motorway and is therefore highly recommended as a stopover. The staff is very friendly, and the dishes are freshly prepared and taste delicious.

A large room with symmetrically arranged furniture generously distributed throughout allows a clear view of the kitchen and the bar area. The food is prepared quickly and served in a friendly manner.

The teigorey was fantastic, and the duck meat was beautifully crispy and tender—there's nothing to complain about. It was accompanied by a wonderful plum wine. And the dachshund was very good. Highly recommended.

I've rarely seen such grumpy staff. The female servers are pulling faces, unbelievable! The pizzas come out relatively quickly. The pasta was warmed up in the microwave and a fresh sauce was quickly poured over it.

I ordered a vegan dish, which unfortunately contained chicken. When the dish was brought to my table, it was specifically mentioned that it was vegan. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case! After complaining to the staff, I received my vegan dish. When I paid, I hoped there would be some kind of concession. Unfortunately, there wasn't! It's a shame. The customer should be king. And bringing a "non-vegan dish" to the table as vegan… an absolute no-go!!!

As always, very tasty. I love the pesto pasta with chicken. The food always tastes fresh and the service is great. You are asked several times if you would like anything else and the tables are always clean.

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and modern interior.

The location is very modern and inviting. The food we ordered was very tasty and beautifully prepared. BUT: the service is a disaster. The employees are very unfriendly and bitchy, we felt extremely unwelcome. The highlight was that the two waitresses from Burger King had food brought to them and ate it directly at the restaurant counter, i.e. during their working hours. The fries were eaten with their bare fingers, while customers were repeatedly served in the restaurant without waitresses washing their (greasy) hands. Very unprofessional and it leaves a bad impression. The waitresses seemed very listless and annoyed with their job.

Food very tasty! Price performance also very good! The waitresses are very unfriendly & annoyed. Behind the counter, fingers are used to eat fries purchased from Burger King. Incredibly unprofessional and bitchy.

Decent pizza but definitely not 5* and this is despite they have proper pizza stove. Curries ok but without deeper tastes. Highlight of the place though are desserts. Ice cream, including in buble waffles.

Modernly furnished restaurant offering Italian and Asian dishes. It's nice that there were some vegan dishes on the menu. The vegetarian pizza was good, the pasta with funghi tasted neutral. The atmosphere was not very cordial. Although not everyone at the table had finished eating, the dishes had already been cleared away. It wasn't comfortable.

... after a long time we were there again yesterday for dinner... While the food has gone way down, prices have gone way up. The service is rather below average - only unfriendly students who don't respond to customer requests. Maybe the owner should check on things at his restaurant more often... We're set for the next six months!

Nice restaurant with a real pizza stone oven. Pizza and curry bowl tasted very tasty. The ice cream that followed was also very good, but it was rather small balls and there wasn't even a little something to replace the cream. That deducts half a star. The service was friendly and quick. We got a table at lunchtime without any problems. The guest room has an open kitchen and is modern/comfortably furnished. It seems to be a meeting place for fellow southerners who seem to meet there, drink coffee and chat. Everything is ok so far, but they keep leaving the location, coming back, greeting all sorts of other guests and walking around. This makes it very busy and seems a bit uncomfortable. That deducted another star. But I would definitely eat here again.

Unfortunately, the ice cream scoop was a bit small, but the young blonde waitress (Mr. Becker) was very nice. She was very polite and provided first class service. I can only recommend it to anyone who likes to eat pasta and ice cream.

Unfortunately, I can only agree with some of the previous speakers. I personally cannot understand the predominantly positive reviews. The ambience is really successful, and after the renovation the acoustics are much more pleasant. The food is – as usual – excellent and remains the only reason for us to visit this restaurant. In fact, we have often decided to visit because of the good food, but often ended up choosing an alternative because of the poor service. The service is simply underground. Although there were a total of five employees present, who obviously had different areas of responsibility, we had to wait a full ten minutes after being greeted when we entered the restaurant until someone took care of us - even though we were obviously noticed. The blonde waitress was particularly noticeable. Her disinterest and unsympathetic manner towards the guests were hard to miss. She also made a downright unfriendly, almost annoyed impression, which made the visit unnecessarily unpleasant. We have had such experiences many times, especially with her. Also acquaintances. It was already obvious that the customers were being “blasphemed” and made fun of. You can also often see them on their cell phones while customers wait to be served. What a shame! Only conditionally recommended.

Yes, good price/performance ratio

The homemade lemonade was delicious My expectations were high for a Gorgonzola beef pizza for €15.50, but the pizza was just bland and didn't taste like anything. The beef strips were fried but without any spices. I couldn't detect anything homemade, sorry.

I can't understand the outstanding reviews here. My girlfriend and I ordered two pasta dishes and we received the wrong dishes. No problem, it can happen. However, there was a lively discussion at first that we had ordered something else. The highlight was that another waiter, who wasn't there at the time of the order, but could certainly say what we had ordered, immediately intervened. Adventurous! About the food: The noodles and vegetables were good and al dente, unfortunately the curry sauce didn't taste like anything. There are many of this type of shops in Fulda, next time somewhere else.

Amazing, super positive surprise... we were on the way home from southern Germany to the north... and instead of refueling and resting, we made a quick decision to get off the motorway... straight to Kitchen 74 in Petersberg | Fulda... great location, no bigger detour than a motorway service station... selection of food, ambience, service and freshness of the dishes absolutely and unreservedly recommended, if I could give 10 points, then I would have given 11... thank you very much for this great experience... we will definitely visit Kitchen74 again and are already looking forward to it. The prices are absolutely justified for the dishes and quality, if not really cheap when you compare it with Tank and Rast. Thank you very much and see you soon!

I can't understand the good reviews. I ordered a vegetable plate hoping to receive a large plate of grilled vegetables. Unfortunately I only got a small plate of raw vegetables. The vegetables were really completely raw. The same with all other dishes such as the Thai curry. For €15 I can buy a whole bucket full of raw vegetables in the supermarket. I don't have to go to a restaurant for this.

Great food, great service. This is our comfort restaurant, enough variety of food, it’s prepared on the moment but amazingly fast. They are really nice to everyone including kids. We come over almost every fortnight and it’s always delicious, no matter what you order.

The meat is molded meat, it wasn't always like that. The service leaves a lot to be desired. You are not asked if you would like to order anything else but are told: I would like to collect it.

We were there for lunch today. Food is very tasty. Cuisine such as pasta and pizza gets a clear 5 from us, we would like to come back because of the food 😊 However, the service was a complete disaster... no salt, no pepper, we had to organize almost everything ourselves. Payment also took a while because the waitress had better things to do (talking to her colleague) In short, the food/ambience was great, unfortunately our service today was out of place.

Very tasty food. You can tell that it is freshly prepared. I've always gotten food to go and usually only waited 5 minutes for it. There was also an iced tea on the house☺️ Really recommended!
