The food here is very good; we didn't have the buffet but the set menu B for two people. The ambiance is lovely; Chinese restaurants are usually very nicely decorated. The food tasted wonderful and was even too much for us. The staff is very friendly, but they constantly drop things. For example, cutlery, or they grab the cutlery from the wrong side and even dip their hand into our glasses. You can tell the staff isn't properly trained. But otherwise, the restaurant is very good and the food tastes really delicious 😋 🤤.

This is a consistently top-three Chinese restaurant in Stuttgart. Crucially, it manages to balance service to both Chinese and German customers, which is truly remarkable.

It was my first time there, and I have to say, it's truly authentic Chinese cuisine that you can't get anywhere else. I highly recommend it. The sometimes very negative reviews are completely unjustified. Either those people went to a different restaurant, or they're fake reviews.

My visit was a health disaster. I vomited in the restaurant and had significant stomach problems and diarrhea on the way home. I told the waiter I was vomiting, but he didn't seem to care at all. I will definitely contact the health department tomorrow.

Disappointing Service from a Rude Waiter I recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was severely marred by the extremely rude and impatient waiter. Even when taking our order, he seemed irritated and annoyed, answering questions about the menu reluctantly and with curt comments. Throughout our entire visit, we felt unwelcome – no smiles, no polite words, just hasty clearing of dishes and irritated glances. This is not what hospitality should look like. I sincerely hope that management urgently addresses this issue, as the food alone cannot compensate for such disrespectful treatment.

The fish I ordered for lunch today wasn't cooked through. They didn't ask me to reheat it, but instead just microwaved it. The fish still wasn't crispy. I wasn't satisfied and it wasn't worth the price. In the end, I couldn't eat the fish anymore.

The buffet was completely empty at one point. It was only refilled after several people complained. The selection of dishes on the buffet wasn't extensive, but for €15, I wasn't expecting much. The waiters were all stressed, and it was extremely loud.

Tastes very BAD. It is hard to find good Char siu in Germany but this one is easily the worst I’ve ever eaten. The meat look and taste dry, old and bland, as if they were a few days old. Fried rice is damp but still edible. But the sweet and sour pork, and garlic spare rib are sooo bad. In both dishes, the meat are coated with a batter with very unpleasant taste. I often cook sweet and sour pork at home and it’s not that hard to make. I don’t know how a restaurant can screw it up like that… The service is good so I hope they can just improve the food quality.

Yesterday, I went there with my daughter during our lunch break because they have a buffet and we were short on time. The food was mediocre, like most buffets in Chinese restaurants, and it also contained a lot of MSG. A while later, my daughter vomited violently, and I almost vomited. Something was spoiled; never again at King's Palace!

I ate there today with my father for his birthday and had to throw up a few hours later. It was definitely the food and I couldn't enjoy my birthday anymore. No recommendation. Hygiene should take a look at it.

Good Chinese with a delicious buffet

Very Authentic Chinese Restaurant with good food and very nice and friendly service. Lot of Asian people eating there. Will come again.

The buffet is extensive and delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient. The price/performance ratio is perfect.

The food is actually pretty good. Prices could be lower for what you get. Service is terrible: I ordered 5 things, forgot 2 – completely gone. The waiter said he didn't know the dishes on the menu. So asking anything was pointless. I ordered yeast and got crystal. I ordered crystal again and got none at all. Just like that. It was barely busy. It was just annoying.

Unfortunately, it's very disappointing. It would be nice if there was a good Chinese restaurant around the corner... The search continues.

First of all, I waited over half an hour for the food, and the waiter was arrogant and hectic. The quality of the food wasn't what I'm used to. For example, the breaded chicken was cut much too thick and the noodles were, ridiculously, much too thin. The sauce had a very artificial taste instead of a curry flavor. What a shame for this price range!

Very nice restaurant and extremely friendly staff. The buffet was delicious. Various menus, fruit, vegetables, salad, and ice cream. Most of the tables are only accessible via stairs, which may be difficult for older people. We'd be happy to come back.

In Stuttgart-Vaihingen, nahe der U-Bahn-Haltestelle Schillerplatz, liegt dieses relativ große, chinesische Restaurant. Der Stil ist schon mal "echt" chinesischer Barock mit viel Gold und Bling. Die Besonderheit ist die Küche. Neben der für Deutschland üblichen "normalen" (gemäßigt exotisch) chinesischen Karte, bzw. am Ende davon, gibt es auch noch "richtige" chinesische Gerichte. Etwa gebratenes, sehr scharfes Rindfleisch und allerlei sonstige chinesische Spezialitäten. Man muss aber dazu sagen, dass man es richtig chinesisch scharf will. Ich finde diese echte Machart außergewöhnlich gut und lecker. Man sieht hier auch viele Chinesen essen und so ein paar deutsche "Spezialisten" wie mich. Die Qualität ist gut, die Bedienung freundlich und die Preise sind bezahlbar. Ich gehe immer hierher, wenn ich in der Gegend bin.

My absolute favorite restaurant; we've been coming regularly for years, and it's always good. There's an extensive menu of "Western" Chinese dishes, but also a menu with authentic dishes. The service is attentive. Highly recommended.

From the very beginning, we've been frequenting the King's Palace in my old hometown of Vaihingen. Whether it's the buffet or the à la carte menu, we're always impressed by the quality and taste of the food.

There is a waitress who speaks Cantonese and complains about people behind their backs (do you think no one will understand...), and not only once or twice, she has a bad attitude. The other waiters are very nice.

Nice place to eat asiatic dishes. The noodles plate was really big and cheap. Plenty of tables inside and outside.

Unusual waitress! We placed a small order and informed her of our vegetarian diet. After that, we ordered spring rolls but neglected to check if they were vegetarian. She brought it, and it contained duck meat. How can you not provide any indication that it isn't vegetarian, knowing we are vegetarians, as we already informed her in the previous order? In addition, she is not friendly at all. Absence of smiles and a very dry expression. We have never felt so at ease or enjoyed the food as much. In addition to the food, a welcoming ambiance in the restaurant is also important to us.

The fish head with chopped pepper is delicious and highly recommended. The yellow tofu in red sauce recommended by Xiaohongshu is also good, but I have never tried it in the country. Nice restaurant and friendly service. Unfortunately, the lady was very difficult to understand, which led to misunderstandings. A large selection of dishes, far too many for us personally. Value for money wasn't as good. Large portions, but tasted more like warmed up food. The Sprite ordered (as it was on the menu and the bill) was definitely not a Sprite. It tasted more like a cheap lemonade from SodaStream. Despite everything, the employees were very committed and complaints were handled very professionally.

If you go there, make sure you have cash with you. They led me to believe that card payment was possible, only to discover that the machine didn't work! They didn't even apologize for it, someone had to follow me to the ATM to get some cash. If you had been honest from the start, I would have picked some money myself beforehand. THIS IS NOT OKAY!! I could give less than one star, I would. Very unprofessional place.

The taste of the food was delicious, it would certainly have been even better if it had been served hot. Maybe it sat in the kitchen longer to be served. Because it took a lot of time until the food came. There were 3 couples in the restaurant - so nothing was going on. The service was very rude and unfriendly. No recommendation.

The food wasn't good. The duck really didn't taste good at all and the curry chicken soup really didn't taste good at all. It's been a long time since I've eaten such bad food in a restaurant and left €30 for nothing. The waiter was also strange and unfriendly, so there are far better Asian restaurants.

Very large portion. However, the sauce was mostly just oil and sugar. Very coarsely chopped almost raw vegetables. Some snack bars have better food. Service inattentive - you have to let us know if you want something.

The food is good the noodles are really thin I recommend the beef with rice(the one on the photo) it tastes really good I especially liked the sauce.

In terms of ingredients and taste, Stu Chinese food is basically the best. You can eat sea cucumber, abalone, almond shrimp cakes, etc. at the festival buffet.

Very tasty food, none but a fine buffet, everything you need is there. Very very nice staff. Loved by children, even when the buffet time is over, the children should still get dessert and ice cream. It's really worth it and the price-performance ratio is great. Always happy

Started strong, slowed down a lot. Price-performance is not right. I can eat better quality food for a cheaper price. A year ago the food was significantly better. We're not coming anymore. Staff is friendly & atmosphere is nice. But it doesn't help in this case either.

I came here on Christmas and it was nice. They kept playing carols. The staff were also very friendly. Is the food adequate?? But the ice cream here is so delicious!

There could be more variety at the buffet

Waited 1 hour for the food. Even though It was simple Chicken Kung Pao and Chicken curry soup. When the soup came, just had one spoon of it and it was horrible. It was literally canned soup that they had just gotten from Kaufland. I complained about it and had the full soup bowl sent back to the kitchen. They still put it on our bill to pay for it and I left there hungry. Never coming back. Such a bad service because you wanted the money for that one pesky soup so badly.

The curry soup was totally over salted and tasted like ready-made soup. The soups there generally taste like that. We didn't eat any of the soup and said so and still had to pay for it. Very bad service. The quality of the food has decreased dramatically in the last few years.

Lunch buffet is now significantly more expensive than stated on the homepage. It says €10.90 but costs €14.90. Haven't been there for a long time. So I can't judge what the quality is currently. The food used to be good. The price-performance ratio has definitely become worse.

I was to join my director for dinner, he ordered and asked coffee to be brought later once I arrive but it was served. The tofu that I ordered was extremely SALTY, absolutely horrible. Although it was just around 9.30 PM, waitress pushed for the bill twice thrice...we ordered just 1 schnaps, we were given 2 and charged for it although we said, 1 was ordered. Nightmarish experience... unworthy. 47 euros wasted for a meal for 2...

Was there for the lunch buffet and was okay. I don't need to go there again because there are much better restaurants but you could eat it.

Buffet is cheap but not great in terms of quality. But there is a special Chinese menu with very tasty authentic dishes. It's worth going there for that.

Typical Chinese restaurant. Clean and classically furnished. The service is, as expected, nice and courteous. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy. I was just surprised that my food came to the table so quickly. I thought a hissing cast pot with a scent would take a little longer to prepare. The rice was more than plentiful and it tasted well...good...a little too bland for my taste. I had chicken with curry, spicy. It was definitely enough to pack something else. But the next afternoon was even more disappointing than it was fresh in the evening. Unfortunately not again.

we tried lunch buffet today. varieties of option for non vegetarians. also vegetarian options are there. I liked their spicy soup, fried ente, putenfleisch with zucchini, yoghurt, spring roll, fried fish. from gemüse and fruit section I loved litchi, apricot & watermelon. I didn’t like their cakes at all. Those are not my thing may be. Dessert section seems to have varieties(!) flavored ice cream. But except the chocolate flavor, all other seemed same taste just in different colors to me. For two people we paid 27.80euros.

If you want to experience firsthand the differences between Chinese compatriots, you can come to this restaurant and experience a 360-degree change in your attitude toward Chinese people. The woman who ordered the food didn't say anything to us and was so cold throughout the whole process. We politely said thank you throughout the entire process, but received no response! This is the most discriminatory place in Germany. The dishes are so unpalatable that it’s hard to describe them in words, and it’s not good to eat after being so far away! Das Gericht ist sehr scharf. Wenn du gut essen willst, aber nicht hier.

I was not impressed by the food. Visually it looked great, but not at all in terms of taste. They even brought us food separately, so we didn't even eat together. The portions are huge and the service is nice 😊

Actually criminal what this place manages to create is a pathetic quality from the ingredients used. Duck is rancid and actually only consists of fat and tough connective tissue, sauces taste like nothing, they probably don't even know garlic, pasta is bland and has no taste of its own. The chef must have lost his taste buds in a tragic accident... Luckily we were hungry, otherwise we probably wouldn't have eaten the 10% of the amount. We will never grace the Kings Palace again. If the king appreciates such taste, then I would be happy to stay away from such areas.
