super nice team, the food tasted great :))

We recently visited here for the first time and were greeted by darkness upon arrival. We bravely ventured in anyway and were immediately greeted in a very friendly manner and pointed out that there was a power outage that probably affected the entire building. But everyone, including us and other guests, were confident and enjoyed about 20 minutes with candlelight, drinks and a good atmosphere. The power actually came back on and the kitchen was immediately bustling with activity. The food was served quickly and we indulged in the enjoyment. All in all, we had a very pleasant time, the waitresses were very friendly, the food was very tasty and we were satisfied. We would love to go there again.

From the reservation, to the welcome, to the food, we were very satisfied. The service(s) were super friendly, always attentive and always unobtrusively present. The food - 1x grilled salmon and 1x Thai curry - was on point. The price-performance ratio is almost unbeatable. We are happy to recommend the Kiko and would be happy to come back.

Food very good. Service very nice. But: it is sufficient to ask once or twice whether everything is OK, but not seven times. That's a bit annoying.

Went for lunch with the Mrs. Started off with the appetizers for 2, which consisted of gyzoa, spring rolls, chicken skewers, and ragoons. Everything was except for the chicken skewers, which were a little dry. I had the tofu udon noodles. Mrs. had the chicken and veggie, she really enjoyed. Next time, I'll have sushi. There was a couple that ordered the sushi that was on a long plater that looked so good. It was not crowded when we left. The service was really good and attentive. Definitely will be going back.

What a pleasant surprise finding this restaurant has been. Everything we have tried is delicious and the staff are warm and friendly.

Great atmosphere, service and food

Large nicely decorated restaurant open for lunch and dinner. The food was fresh and came out quickly. The service was very friendly and the price was very reasonable for the quality of food. There’s some tables outside in the front of the restaurant and also a large outdoor patio with a Koi pond in the back. Nice atmosphere for a date night and plenty of seating for a large group of people.

The restaurant is in a quiet location, and the interior is pretty modern and comfortable. A lot of space. Waiters and Waitresses there are friendly. But I am not satisfied with the food. I ordered duck dishes. The taste is ok. But I feel the food was pre-cooked and not fresh. Some of my friends said Sushi is good but I never try as I don't like raw fish meat.

We had an office farewell lunch with a reservation for 15 people. The sushi was very good but with only a very limited lunch menu, which should result in quick meals. That's usually why a lunch menu is limited. Sadly, that was not true on this day. The restaurant was about 75% full, and yet the people in our group received drinks and meals sporadically, even after waiting a half hour to 45 mins just to order drinks. Many of our folks never received their salad that came with their meal, and a couple received cold food. Our last 2 meals were being served while those who had received their meal first were paying their bill and leaving. Also, take note, there is a parking building beside the IT building next door available for KIKO customers, at no charge. Lots of spaces. Just push the button and say you're eating at KIKOS, and they will open the gate. You won't know that unless you figure it out. On a non busy day, it's probably a treat to eat here, but I'd pass with a large group. I may still try it for supper one day when they have a full menu. 😊

Very tasty and friendly service! We were spontaneously nearby and wanted to eat Asian food. The only thing I complain about is that from the outside it looked like it was closed. We almost drove on. Otherwise really great and recommended!

I fell in love with this restaurant! As soon as you step in you can tell what a nice and fancy look it has. The lighting and atmosphere felt so relaxing and calming. Perfect for a date night! The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious! Fresh and very savory. Price was good for portions. I must say we are used to bigger sushi rolls and didn’t order dishes with larger amounts since we thought 10-15 each would be enough for us but we felt we could still eat a little more (Not a big deal since it was kind of a late night dinner after a softball game). So I would definitely recommend ordering larger portions in their menu😅 Great experience. We’re planning on going back for a date night next time, since we went there mainly to order takeout plus we felt we weren’t dressed properly🙈

If you want to enjoy delicious food in a great atmosphere, then this is the place to go. The service was a bit slow, but it was rather busy. Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful with the food choices since this was our first time. It was a really great evening from the moment we walked in till we left. Prices were not over the top for the quality of food. Check this place out and see for yourself.

Unfortunately, from our point of view, the positive reviews are incomprehensible. The red Thai curry, which according to the additional declaration is refined with flavor enhancers, impressed with overcooked vegetables and a watery sauce. The portion was very manageable for the price asked. The taste and consistency of the sushi was more reminiscent of refrigerated goods from the discount store.

Very nice restaurant. This was definitely the best sushi I have ever eaten. Everything very fresh and prepared with love. Warm staff. The bathroom is also very hygienic and clean. I am very, very satisfied and can recommend it wholeheartedly!

As part of a company event, I became aware of the KIKO in the former Salz & Pfeffer premises. Now I tried it again on Sunday lunchtime without a reservation and was very satisfied.

Super sweet and lovely staff, everyone was extremely warm and friendly. The food was really excellent and I'm really picky. Thank you, you have gained a regular customer! I'll come by after each of our events in the future!

Nice ambience, 10 out of 10. I give the food an 8 out of 10. Sauce was very watery. I didn't really like the taste, I often go out for sushi etc. and have a direct comparison. Value for money 7 out of 10. Bad smell in the ladies toilet (drain).

We have now had dinner at KIKO several times and have been very satisfied every time. The map is very extensive and offers a variety of things from the Asian region. According to our current status, both the starters, the main courses and the sushi can be recommended without exception, well prepared and beautifully presented. The guest area is relatively large and the atmosphere is often quite loud, but that doesn't bother us much. All in all, we always enjoy coming here.

The portions are a bit small for the money but the atmosphere is very cozy. The waiters were also very nice

Sehr gute Alternative zu Mr. Lian. Deutlich angenehmer von der Lautstärke. Inneneinrichtung modern und das Essen lecker. Wer seinem Partner was Gutes tun möchte ist hier genau richtig. Vorspeise: Ebi-Tempura; Tom Kha Gai Hauptspeise: Red Thai Curry Chicken; Hosomaki Sake; Special Roll KIKO

Vorspeise: Kimchi, Hauptgerichte: Bun Nam Bo und Peanut Coconut Milk Curry, Nachspeise: Ban Chuoi, Getränke: Hausgemachte Limo, Ingwertee und Viet Nam Ca Phe Sua Da Sehr schönes modernes und ansprechendes Ambiente. Man wird am Eingang sofort freundlich empfangen, die Bedienungen waren jederzeit sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen und die Getränke waren mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet und schmeckten authentisch und sehr lecker. Ein Augen und Gaumenschmaus. Geheimtipp ist der Bambusschnaps zur Verdauung. Man merkt sofort, dass der Betreiber Herr Mai vom Fach ist und das Restaurant mit viel Hingabe führt, dass es deshalb in allen Bereichen die maximale Punktzahl verdient. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können jedem nur empfehlen hier Essen zu gehen, auch wenn er nur für ein paar Stunden in Kaiserslautern ist.

Das beste an dem Essen ist, dass es LGBTQ+ freundlich ist. War letztens bei nem andern "Sushi-Mann" der das net hatte. War nich so gut!

Stopped for some sushi. This place is a really nice place to take someone. They had families, couples on a date and friends hanging out. The sushi is delicious, and reasonably priced. I recommend this place.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and service was great and came out quickly. The flavor of the food was fantastic, but before I left the restaurant I became ill from a milk allergy. The ingredients listed said coconut milk so I thought it was a dish I could eat. After 3 trips to the bathroom... I spoke with staff who found out they actually put a milk based cream in the dish.

Wir waren zum Frühstück da und wurden von freundlichen Servicekräften empfangen. Ausserdem ist das Lokal sehr modern eingerichtet . Der Preis war super und Service der zuvorkommend . Parkmöglichkeiten sind auch genug vorhanden .

Sehr leckeres Essen. Hatte Onion Beef... Das Fleisch war super zart und gut gewürzt. Hatte bei meinen Kollegen Lachs vom Grill und Hoisin Ente probieren dürfen... auch genial... also wer mal in Kaiserslautern ist muss hierher....

Die Hausgemachte Limonade ist oberlecker 🤩 Der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Geburtstagskind bekam noch eine tolle, leckere Geburtstagsüberraschung serviert. Dieses Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert und wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wonderful place, really enjoyed the visit and was a great surprise though. Passing by while charging the car outside on the street when we noticed this wonderful place and thought worth visiting and we weren’t wrong. The food was as absolutely delicious and the portions are quite generous. Service was impeccable and the staff very friendly and professional. We’d definitely return on the next stay in Kaiserslautern.

Waren zum Mittagessen da und von der Auswahl (trotzt kleiner Karte) sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist super und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker, für unseren Geschmack genau richtig gewürzt. Die hausgemachte Limonade war sehr gut und der vietnamesische Kaffee authentisch lecker! Japanisches Eis Black Sesame absolut yummy! Das Ambiente und die Aussenterasse ist so schön mit einem Teich und viele Kois darin. Wir werden das Abendessen auch mal ausprobieren. Bin schon gespannt und kann es nur weiterempfehlen!
