The food was overall quite good, with generous portion sizes that were more than satisfying. The salad we had was flavorful and the beef while slightly overcooked still tasted great.

So disappointed. The last time I ate there was about 5 years ago. Back then it was completely different. The taste was great and the service was great too. Yesterday was an absolute failure. The meat was dry. The frozen vegetables and the sauce didn't taste like anything.

So unfortunately I have to say, super disappointing. Can't understand the good reviews. For this price, the service and especially the food was really bad. The ambience is really nice. Small but with great charm. But we received an incredibly unfriendly welcome. And we were really looking forward to the food, because it used to be a real insider tip under different management. But now.... A real disappointment. The food wasn't really fresh. Frozen vegetables (which isn't bad in itself) but not seasoned. The meat...(duck) For my wife it was no longer really fresh and really more than well done. We had the dish E2. So I'm really sorry, but I just can't give positive feedback!!!

A real “secret” tip! Food is great! Really plentiful and very tasty! You can also choose between different levels of spiciness... for me "spicy" was already quite spicy. The people are very nice and also very helpful if you can't quite decide...which is really difficult with the menu. My colleague and I spontaneously went to the restaurant twice and always got a seat... Thanks again and all the best.

Very bad service, we order 1 starter, 2 main dish, and we only got the drink and the starter, we wait more than 1 hour for our meal but no main dish. At least 3 sets of consumer came later than us and even the take out order are all solved and finish their dinner. They lost our order and say because the restaurant is too full. How can you blame the missing order is your restaurant got too good business? With the mistake, they still insist to ask us pay for the cola. Ok, I paid. I will never come again. And this restaurant will lower their service level if too good business… Must be careful!

We went yesterday for the first time and it won't be the last time. The food was incredibly tasty and be careful, the portions are very large. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, we almost felt like we were on vacation. We can only recommend Khun-Pim.

No matter whether we choose a relaxed lunch or a cozy evening, the service is always attentive and courteous. Offering takeout is also a great option. The dishes are carefully packaged and retain their fresh quality even outside the restaurant. Khun-Pim Thai Restaurant has become our favorite place that we visit regularly. The attention to detail, the quality of the ingredients and the hospitality make this place truly exceptional. We are grateful to have such an excellent restaurant in Metzingen and can't wait to indulge our taste buds again on future visits. Unfortunately I have to adjust my review in 2024. To date, this has truly been our favorite place for Asian cuisine. But the sharp price increases across all dishes have significantly dampened our frequency and especially our enjoyment. The prices have always been in the upper third, but now in my opinion they exceed the ratio.

Great Thai restaurant with authentic food! There is a large selection of Thai dishes here that you cannot otherwise get in most Asian restaurants in Germany. For me, the dishes are authentic and taste like I know them from Thailand. My absolute favorite is Mango Sticky Rice, definitely try it! The staff and the owner are also very friendly. We'd love to come back again and again!

A quite expensive and only partially authentic Thai restaurant. Unfortunately! If you can't understand the ratings here, you go out for Thai food regularly, including in Stuttgart and Munich. First of all, the prices are really high, duck doesn't cost less than 20 euros and fish costs over 30 euros. That would be OK. if the quality is right, but it doesn't. Hardly any original ingredients from Thailand are used, just typical German vegetables, which we also saw at the table next to us. Plus, almost certainly with a flavor enhancer. The appetizer platter was okay overall, only the spring rolls were a bit dry. The meat skewers were good. The fish was delicious for the main courses, so there wasn't much to complain about. You would get the beef dish with vegetables anywhere at an Asian snack bar (we didn't find the original ingredients mentioned on the menu in the dish, and the pictures from other users here also show that no original ingredients are used here) and that's clear Less than 18 euros, that was a few pieces of beef with mushrooms, peppers and broccoli... When we were there, even other guests commented on the high prices for simple dishes with rice. It should also be mentioned that in this restaurant you only get the cheapest rice you can buy. Anyone who knows anything knows this, we regularly buy much better rice in the Asian market. Admittedly, some even upscale Thais do this. The selection of drinks is also very standard, there is also a bar with schnapps and the like, there is only Thai tea on the menu, which was good so far. But there are significantly more Thai drinks... Ambiance modern, but a bit sterile without a tablecloth, more like a snack bar, also smelly due to the open kitchen and the beer mugs with cutlery on the tables are completely out of place. The staff is friendly and helpful, but they don't understand everything. Overall, the quality is not right here and due to the high prices it is not good value for money, hence 3 stars. If the prices were lower you might be able to pay more, but the ratio is absolutely not right and since it's not good Thai food you can go straight to the snack bar. Anyone who can compare has an advantage, we can't understand the 5 star reviews in any case, you've never eaten original Thai before, you can tell by the ingredients. Although run by Thais. The waiting times are also rather long with just 3 tables occupied, but if you order something complex you can wait up to 1 hour. I have no idea how it works as it is full. According to other reviews, the restaurant used to be much more authentic, but (unfortunately) they only make things as cheaply as possible... When we asked, we only received a bill, but you can guess the rest. We paid 80 euros with 2 drinks, 1 starter and 2 main courses. (January 2024) Apart from the fish dish, that is clearly too much for this quality and we say that as Thai connoisseurs who have happily spent 100 euros for 2 people in Stuttgart and elsewhere.

Were there for the first time. I ordered a few dishes. Our son didn't want to or couldn't really decide and then wanted rice with egg and chicken. In our opinion, this is a simple dish for an Asian restaurant. However, it was not possible to order this, which surprised us more than anything. Because officially there would have been vegetables. The food served was OK, but the spring rolls were definitely frozen and not homemade.

Fantastic food. We love it there. Great service, nice setting. Also great for lunch. Book in advance, especially at weekends. Also offers meals to take away, which we have quite regularly. Just try it. It's worth it.

Super Thai Food. Denke das beste Thai Restaurant in der Gegend. Alles lecker und perfekt. Update.. wir waren am 8. Oktober 2023 wieder bei Khun-Pim und wieder Thaifood vom besten. Mein Tipp in der Region.

Richtig, richtig gutes asiatisches Essen ohne Glutamat und sehr frisch! Freundliche Damen und besonders preiswerter Mittagstisch. Ein Stern Abzug nur, weil das Ambiente, den Räumlichkeiten geschuldet, eher mittelmäßig ist. Tut aber dem Genuß keinen Abbruch :)

Versteckt ist dieses chinesische / thailändische Restaurant - bekannt ist es nicht - genau aus diesem Grund! Und trotzdem empfehle ich dieses Restaurant ! Gutes Essen, sehr freundliche Bedingungen! Meine Vorschreiben, welche eher negativ beurteilt haben, kann ich so nicht verstehen. Aber eben - überzeugt Euch selber!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Khun - Pim auf Empfehlung. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Auf anraten der sehr freundlichen Bedienung wie scharf denn das scharfe Essen sei bekamen wir zur Antwort, wenn sie zum ersten Mal bei uns sind dann empfehle ich lieber nicht scharf zu essen. Auch das war ein guter Tipp wie sich beim Essen herausgestellt hat. Uns persönlich hat es sehr gut geschmeckt!

Bestes Thai Restaurant in der Umgebung. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und gut gemacht, die Preise sind super. Die Karte bietet zwar eine eher kleinere Auswahl, dafür wird meiner Meinung nach das was es gibt mit mehr mühe zubereitete und das schmeckt man. Das Restaurant ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr lecker und super freundlich das Personal gute Auswahl an Speisen

Das Restaurant war voll, ich sehe 5 tische im vorderen raum. Hinzen hat es auch noch welche. Auf eine Bestellung musste ich ca 10 min warten, aus essen ca 50 min. Das süsssauer hihn war ok, wenn auch zu salzig und nicht wirklich süsssauerere. Dafür frische Ananas, was ich mochte. Überragend ist das essen für meinen Geschmack leider nicht. Und ich esse regelmässig Thai. Der Service ist mittelmässig, weil der kontakt zu den gästen fehlt. Also viel raum zu Verbesserung wenn man möchte. Die plastikanbdeckung auf den tischen mag praktisch sein, aber nicht schön und gibt einen billigen Eindruck.

Nach unserem Besuch im OUTLETCITY Metzingen sind wir wenige Kilometer zum Essen weiter gefahren. Die Bedienung hat uns lächelnd und sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Essen kam schnell obwohl der Laden fast voll war. Die Portionen sind groß und schmecken sehr, sehr gut. Das Gemüse ist knackig und das Fleisch zart. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Unscheinbar von außen aber sehr nett von innen.

Wer schon in Thailand Urlaub gemacht hat und die Küche lieben gelernt hat wird bei Khun Pim nicht enttäuscht. Die Speisen sind recht authentisch, ansprechend angerichtet und arroy-arroy! Der Service ist auch bei vollem Lokal freundlich und organisiert. Die Einrichtung drinnen und draußen einfach, sauber und ein bisschen Thai-Style.

Hier schmeckt das Essen so gut und sehr frisch. Sehr nette Mitarbeiterinnen! Wer authentische Thai-Küche liebt sollte hier essen!

Eines der besten Thai-Restaurants weit und breit. Habe das Restaurant schon vor vielen Jahren entdeckt, da es bei Tripadvisor auf Platz 1 ist und war seither schon viele Mal dort und habe es schon an viele Freunde weiterempfohlen - alle begeistert. Besonders zu empfehlen das Massaman Curry mit Ente. Unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren und für den Mittagstisch am besten gleich das Essen vorbestellen, denn der Andrang ist groß.

Absoluter Favorit! Das Personal ist mega freundlich und die Gerichte schmecken wie in Thailand. Einfach köstlich.
