I've eaten at Schlemmerstüble a few times and have always been very happy with the service and the food. Today I was there again and was pleasantly surprised again. Even though it was very busy on site, the staff went out of their way to find us a table. Despite the high capacity utilization, the team was super friendly and our orders were served quickly and to our complete satisfaction. That's what I call service! Thank you very much and keep it up! I've tried pre-ordering food several times to pick it up, unfortunately it's just a gamble. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, then it just doesn't work on Sundays. When else does it say that it only lasts until 6 p.m. The whole thing is quite unprofessional. Either you offer “food TO-GO” and get it done, or you just leave it altogether. Only one star for the service.

The Schlemmerstüble scores with very good, home-style cuisine. There are also vegetarian dishes, senior or children's dishes. The portions are extremely generous and the staff are happy to pack leftovers for customers. Given the quality and quantity of the food, the price-performance ratio is really very good. Even in the busiest times, the service staff remains friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy. There is a large terrace with plenty of parasols. By the way, dogs are also welcome. We can only warmly recommend this restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit.

After we finally managed to get a seat, we weren't disappointed with the food. The quality is appropriate for the price level.

Today we wanted to spontaneously go out for dinner with 4 people. Tried to call twice and no one answered. Then we tried it with luck. There were many tables free. Some had a reserved sign on them. The condition called for us to wait. We stood at the entrance to the beer garden and hadn't moved. She then came with a pretty annoyed look and put another sign on two tables that already had a reserved sign... More unfriendly than anything else, she said there was no space. Yes, well, you can also say it in a friendly way. Only with a colleague... We didn't want that and left. It's a shame that they are so unfriendly to the guests. We were somewhere else and won't be coming back to Schlemmerstüble any time soon.

We are really more than disappointed. Yet again. We had already reserved a table for two people over a week ago. When we arrived, we had a table, but other strangers were seated at our place without consultation. We found this very disturbing because we couldn't have quiet conversations without the other guests overhearing everything. Before ordering we were supposed to swap places, which we didn't realize because the restaurant was completely empty and the other guests weren't supposed to arrive until 1.5 hours later. The waiter was anything but friendly. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

Et goshad isch globt gnuag 🤣 No, everything is just great, whether it's lunch or dinner. The service is often at its limit due to the high volume, but it is managed extremely well. It's best to order the onion roast medium rare 🙂 There's also a nice playground for the kids, so you can stay seated a little longer 👌🏼

Restaurant with a décor where the focus is wood-based. This wood concept makes a calming impression through its own smell and visually. The biggest plus is the attached children's playground. I've never seen anything like this before. It is completely fenced in and therefore very safe. But I find the parking space available directly at the restaurant to be poor. But it's not the end of the world because you can park a little further away. It's just not a solid surface

We were here again recently after >2 years and unfortunately we weren't as enthusiastic about the food as we were back then. On the one hand, we had schnitzel: meat was good, the breading was just ok, the fries were mediocre. On the other hand, the cheese spaetzle: they clearly lacked spiciness. There are unnecessarily huge positions that are not attractively presented. Overall expensive and therefore not good value for money, the food made a bland impression without any special features. A pity!

The operators there are nice and organized... The food is also really ok. But what's going on there in terms of price is really outrageous and totally exaggerated! Everywhere has become more expensive, but here they're really exaggerating... I think you're only open in the evenings four days a week. And you would probably like to make up the missing sales during the shortened opening hours.

On recommendation, I had dinner in this Schlemmerstüble. The young lady's service was very friendly - the foreign waiter's was businesslike. The food was okay - but not overwhelming. The prices in general are far too high.

Reservation the day before with information about the cheapest time for Thursday evening (5:00 p.m./3 adults! Cornflake schnitzel large (23€) and extra large with 2 schnitzels, onion roast (~28€) served ultrafast and very tasty with salad/chips! Espresso Perfect! Very attentive staff! Very nice location and interior with plenty of parking space outside! Outdoor seating for the summer months! Highly recommended! Have been there several times! No complaints so far!

Super nice restaurant You feel like you're on an Alpine pasture in Austria. All that was missing today was the snow. Food very tasty and very good portions. Staff was also very friendly It was a really nice afternoon. There is also a fenced-in playground for children, which can be seen from the beer garden. We would be happy to come back. But if you want to go there, you should call ahead and ask if there is still space.

Super Zwiebelrostbraten, leckeres Schnitzel und Käsespätzle, auch der Salat Top - gerne wieder

Große Portionen Hatte Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und kleinen gemischten Salat. Soße oder Ketchup empfehlenswert sonst eine sehr trockene Angelegenheit. Mein Fehler ich hatte nicht danach gefragt. Sonst sehr gemütlich wie in einer Berghütte.

Wohl nach der Anzahl der Bewertungen kein Geheimtipp mehr als auch von uns ein spontaner Erstbesuch. Obwohl alles voll war, wurde uns ein Platz an der Bar angeboten und nach dem ersten Getränk durften wir mit am Stammtisch Platznehmen. Sehr angenehme Männerrunde, aufmerksame und symphatische Bedienung sowie erstklassiges Essen!

Obwohl das Restaurant sehr voll war und wir spontan gekommen waren, bemühte man sich sehr darum, dass wir noch einen Tisch bekommen. Das Ambiente gefällt mir und das Personal ist trotz Stress durchweg auffallend freundlich. Essen sehr gut, daher unbedingte Empfehlung.

Ich war etwas überrascht. Ich war zu einer Weihnachtsfeier im Schlemmerstüble. Die Atmosphäre war gut. Wir waren in einem Vorbau was genau für uns passte. Wir waren ungefähr mit 30-40 Personen. Das was ich vom Rest des Restaurants sah war rustikal aber sauber und ordentlich. 😁 Überrascht war ich vor allem vom Essen. Ich war davon ausgegangen das das Essen naja gut sei. Aber an meinem Tisch hatten Zwei, Rostbraten ein Medium und 1 Medium/Durch. Sie waren genau wie bestellt und das bei der Masse an Bestellungen und vom Preis voll in Ordnung.👍

Bei schönem Wetter draussen sitzen und gepflegt Essen & Trinken > deswegen sind wir hierher gekommen. Es war alles zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit nur hatten wir wahrscheinlich einen ungünstigen Zeitpunkt gewählt, 19:00 Uhr. Aber auch in der kalten Jahreszeit ist das Restaurant gemütlich warm und das Essen lecker.

Wunderschönes uriges Wirtshaus im Landhausstil. Der eigentliche Gastraum ist mit viel Liebe in echtem Holz ausgebaut. Nicht weniger liebevoll ist der Biergarten/Wintergarten gestaltet. Das Personal ist extrem höflich und man merkt, daß ein sehr gutes Betriebsklima gelebt wird. Das Essen ist hervorragend bei einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Reservierung sehr zu empfehlen.

Von außen sieht es eher nicht so gemütlich aus,eher wie so eine kleine Gaststätte auf Imbiss Niveau ( zumindest dachten wir es immer) Aber wir wurden eines besseren belehren. Das Ambiente gemütlich,sauber auch wenn es sehr voll war wurde uns noch ein Tisch angeboten für 1 Stunde 👍🙏Das Essen ist frisch,die Portionen MEGA!!!! groß und Auswahl an Speisen ebenfalls Die Preise passen zur heutigen Zeit ( siehe Speisekarte) und was man nicht schafft wird gefragt ob man es mitnehmen möchte. Auf Gut deutsch alles was das Herz begehrt passt hier . Ein Nachteil für uns zumindest ist das es weit weg von Mannheim ist und wir in Zukunft dort nur hingegen können wenn wir im Outlet vorher waren. Aber zumindest wissen wir jetzt,das wir in der Gegend nicht weiter suchen müssen, Wir wissen ja jetzt wo es von A - Z für uns passt. Weiter so 👍😁

Wir waren hier an einem Samstag im Oktober, das Wetter war durchwachsen, für draußen zu Kalt, drinnen den letzten freien Tisch ohne Reservierung bekommen. Personal sehr freundlich, nicht zu verklemmt, teilweise sogar etwas lustig drauf. Haben uns jedenfalls wohl gefühlt. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Viel Holz und viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Essen war teilweise gut, teilweise weniger. Das Schnitzel sehr gut paniert, allerdings insgesamt zu salzig. Standardmäßig ohne Soße, die Pommes einfache, verwürzte, Pommes. Es hat insgesamt schon etwas im Hals gebrannt 😁 Das medium bestellte Rumpsteak war durchgebraten und zudem wirklich sehr klein. Das Zwiebelteil auf dem Nachbarteller war wohl gut. Der Thunfischsalat würde eher am Thunfisch vorbeigetragen. Laut dem Gast kaum Thunfisch enthalten. Wohl an der Erwartung vorbei. Die Preise sind schon Recht hoch für das, was nachher qualitativ auf dem Teller landet. Da haben wir schon deutlich besseres Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis gesehen, aber nur selten schlechteres. Alles natürlich nur unsere Meinung und vielleicht auch abhängig von der Tagesform. Mit zwei oder drei Kleinigkeiten hätte die Bewertung anders ausgesehen. Vielleicht hat der nächste weniger Pech.

Der Schnitzel war echt lecker!! Service war auch super. Wir haben aber leider zu lange auf unser Essen gewartet.

Wir waren hier spontan zum Mittagessen als Familie. Preislich ist es hier etwas teurer. Auch wenn die Portionen recht groß sind, war des Essen nicht außergewöhnlich aber OK. Das Personal war freundlich, die Wartezeiten aufgrund des Andrangs etwas größer.

Tolles Essen, nette Atmosphäre. Hat sich gelohnt ein wenig außerhalb vom Outletcenter Metzingen zu schauen und hier einzukehren. Die Käsespätzle waren toll und auch der Beilagensalat vorher echt lecker.
