Dear Khan Team, we were at your restaurant again yesterday, and it was wonderful as always. However, there was one thing that bothered me, and I'd like to get it off my chest. My father celebrates his birthday with you every year, which my nephew always looks forward to. Like everyone else, we let you know it's a birthday, and then the robot comes, sings "Happy Birthday," and brings a cake. This year, my nephew really wanted to celebrate his 11th birthday with you as well, which he did yesterday. We told a waitress, and she asked where we were seated. Then the tall waiter with the peculiar sense of humor came over and asked if we could prove that it was really my nephew's birthday (which, unfortunately, we couldn't). As I said, the waiter has a peculiar sense of humor, and I thought he was pulling our leg. But not this time. As we were paying and about to leave, the robot started up again, singing a little song and handing out a cake, which made my nephew say sadly, "It's a shame he didn't come to me." I felt very sorry for my nephew.

The food is fresh and the price is reasonable. The atmosphere is okay, but noisy. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic dinner. All in all, the evening was decent and we'll come again. The buffet was plentiful and varied.

Until a few months ago, I really enjoyed going there. But: There's a new waiter who, unfortunately, is driving customers away rather than delighting them. He probably has to compensate for his height with bad jokes. "Hello, you blonde lady," "No cell phones allowed while eating," "Oh, I was sick once too, it catches everyone – on the subject of cancer." That's just unacceptable. The new manager is now also locking off compartments, which is a shame – the comfortable chairs are now off-limits. The food is still good.

The food and service are excellent. However, it's very noisy, as the place is usually packed. Soundproofing measures should be implemented.

We went to Khan's today around 2 PM to eat. The front area was incredibly loud, and the air was correspondingly stuffy. Because of this, we wanted to move to the back area. We were then informed that the back area was closed off. So we left the restaurant. That's a surefire way to lose customers. Completely unfriendly service. I wouldn't want to eat in such a chaotic, crowded environment, especially considering the prices. Not recommended.

We went there for dinner with friends today around 6 pm and were more than pleasantly surprised. The price for the food is more than fair! You can eat as much as you want, and everything was delicious. The staff are so cute and have a great sense of humor, and it's so much fun to joke around with them! It was also clean, including the restrooms, which isn't always the case. All in all, we were extremely satisfied and will definitely come back! To all the staff: Keep up the great work, you're all fantastic!

A wide variety of hot dishes, salad, and dessert were available at the buffet. In addition to the prepared dishes, you could also select your own ingredients (including vegetables, meat, and fish) and have them freshly prepared. The sushi selection was also fantastic.

No atmosphere whatsoever, the waiters were boring to the point of being arrogant. The buffet was nothing special. Desserts were pre-made, the duck was too dry, and the shrimp were tasteless. You can eat cheaper elsewhere. Overpriced place.

Very unfriendly, very rude service.

This was our second visit, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant. The food is truly awful, the meat is absolutely terrible, they offer unlabeled items, and even worse, none of the staff knew what was on display. But here's the real kicker: the waitstaff didn't recommend the food. They were saying at our table that it was yucky, not good, yucky... REALLY? On top of that, some of the staff were in a bad mood, and an argument broke out among themselves. We didn't understand the language they were speaking, but the cook and the bartender definitely had a problem hearing each other, and it was audible throughout the restaurant. Finally, my wife wanted to try the soft-serve ice cream, but something came out of the machine, and it wasn't soft-serve. When she tried to return it, two women came over and started complaining. They said my wife should have tasted it before filling the "small" bowl. Seriously? Taste the vanilla soft-serve before filling the tiny bowl? It was inedible and extremely sour. Even the waitresses couldn't explain what it was, and then it started all over again: one woman complained to another about how they could offer such disgusting food! We paid €26 per person for the buffet. Far too expensive for the quality and everything else. Never again! 👎🏻👎🏻 One more tip: you don't fight flies with small fans over the buffet. You tackle the problem from the source. 🫩

Today, the five of us visited Khan Mongolia for the first time for lunch. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our reserved table. A very friendly staff member then explained the buffet to me. The selection is so extensive, with incredibly delicious dishes. The variety of main courses, salads, desserts, ice cream, fruit, etc., is simply enormous! Busy staff members were constantly replenishing everything and clearing away dirty plates. Everything was very neat, clean, and comfortable—a truly wonderful experience. I can't understand the negative comments here at all! We will definitely be back...a huge thank you to the fantastic staff! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited this restaurant with our child on Sunday and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. Our child was terrified of the service robot. I politely asked the staff if the robot could please stop coming to our table. They initially assured me this would be possible – however, the robot continued to approach us directly. Because my child was completely frightened and I spent most of my time trying to calm them down, I could barely eat anything myself. I explained the situation and asked to pay only a small portion of the buffet price. Unfortunately, the head waiter reacted very rudely and in an inappropriately condescending tone – both to me and my child. There was no sign of understanding or accommodation. I find it extremely disappointing that a family with a frightened child's legitimate request was met with such a response. Friendliness and empathy should be a given in the restaurant industry – unfortunately, there was no sign of either here. We will certainly not be visiting this restaurant again and cannot recommend it to families with young children.

As always when we're in Hamburg, we visit this place. The buffet has changed a lot since our last visit. There are many delicacies, for an even better price. We always enjoy going there. The atmosphere and the staff are unique.

The three of us ate at the Khan Mongolai restaurant today – a complete disappointment! We found a hair in our food and immediately informed the staff. Shortly after, we were shocked again: a piece of metal from the scourer in our food! No one apologized or responded in any way – instead, they waited for a tip while we paid. This simply shouldn't happen. A hygiene and humane no-go. We definitely won't be back.

The all-you-can-eat menu offers a wide selection and many different ways to prepare your food. The taste is highly recommended, and the desserts, in particular, offer great variety every time.

I recently visited Khan Mongolia and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The reception was friendly and attentive, the reservation was straightforward, and my table was ready on time. The dining room feels spacious and well-maintained, the lighting is pleasantly warm, and the tables are positioned for easy conversation. Despite the large number of guests, the atmosphere remained relaxed and it was never unpleasantly loud. The centerpiece is the buffet with its grill station. The selection is truly impressive. Fresh vegetables in many varieties, various types of fish and meat, seafood, and several sauces, which can be combined on the grill as desired. Everything looked appetizing and was regularly replenished. I particularly liked how fresh the ingredients were, both visually and odorously. The vegetables remained crisp while grilling, the fish didn't fall apart, and the beef was tender. The hot dishes served off the grill station were also impressive. The soups were aromatic, the side dishes well-seasoned, and the sushi was freshly rolled. Dessert offered a small but pleasant selection, providing a sweet finishing touch to the evening. The service was attentive and prompt. Plates were cleared unobtrusively, drinks arrived quickly, and special requests at the grill were explained in a friendly manner. Overall, I had the feeling that the team worked together well and were happy to make you feel comfortable. Cleanliness is another plus. The buffet areas appeared meticulously maintained, and the counters were regularly wiped and restocked. Price and value are very good here. If you like to try a variety of things and are keen on fresh ingredients, you'll get a lot for the price. The restaurant is suitable for an evening for two as well as for families and groups. My tip is to make a reservation, especially on weekends, as it's popular. Parking in the area was easy. My conclusion: A very good all-you-can-eat restaurant with fresh ingredients, a wide selection, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I would be happy to return and give it a clear recommendation.

Good Chinese/Mongolian buffet. A very large selection, including appetizers and desserts. Some of the freshly prepared food is brought to the table by robots. Unfortunately, they forgot to add the seasoning/sauce to my order, but I think that was an exception. The prices aren't cheap for an evening meal, but they're worth it.

Was this buffet worth 27.50 Euros? Probably not. The food was ok, but didn't blow us away. Can't see the Mongolian connection other than the chef cooking up what you pick out, along with the type of cooking. The other precooked options were basically Chinese dishes you would find in any food court. The sushi selection was limited. Many of the hot options were 90% depleted. Service was ok, and the dish you choose to have cooked for you is brought out by a singing robot.

Good Asian restaurant with a specialty buffet. The selection is huge, and you can try a lot. As is often the case with such buffets, the quality of the ingredients is mediocre. Some shrimp weren't deveined. If you want to really dig in and eat until you're full, it's not bad. I would go back.

Reserved online, confirmation arrived within 24 hours. Reception was friendly. The selection of dishes was well-organized and well-placed, with appropriate labels. Everything tasted very good and fresh. Nothing was sitting around for ages or was stale. The price-performance ratio was completely acceptable for me.

You can do that. We were there during happy hour. It's a buffet restaurant with all-you-can-eat options for €26.50. Mongolian is different, more all-around Asian.

The buffet is very varied, and there's something for every taste. The individually selected plates are well prepared and brought to the table promptly. If the restaurant is very busy, it can take a while. In any case, we enjoy going there, especially for birthdays.

We ate there with four adults. The freshly prepared, self-assembled food from the buffet was delicious. The combinations you can put together there from fresh animal products, vegetables, side dishes, and sauces are overwhelming. I recommend only ordering small portions. This has the advantage of allowing you to try more, and... if you leave too much behind (because your eyes were bigger than your mouth), you'll pay a surcharge. The restaurant is open-plan, so you have a good overview of what's going on. A robot brings the ready-made dishes to your table. Only once was there a mix-up of dishes. Including drinks and food, we paid about €50 per person, which is absolutely fine given the amount of food and drinks we consumed.

Khan Day (Wednesday) €14.90? It recently cost €10.90. The food is great, but why is it €4 more expensive now?

On July 2, 2025, it was 36 degrees Celsius, and this restaurant had no air conditioning, or rather, it didn't work. The unfriendly staff, probably due to the heat.

For a buffet meal, it was fine. Large selection, sufficient availability, and friendly service. €29 is definitely too much for a 13-year-old girl eating a few nuggets and dessert.

It's clean, the service is good, and food is always replenished. I was there with my niece and 4 children, it's ideal for that, if I wanted to eat well and comfortably, I wouldn't go there.

We made a reservation for 10 people at 1 p.m. It was full and there weren't any tables left, but it was extremely well organized. We waited 45 minutes for a table, and the staff was very rude the entire time when we asked when we'd finally get a seat. It used to be much better. We won't be back.

I ate there for the first time today. The food was average. I had squid which unfortunately wasn't clean and was sandy. The sand crunched between my teeth. Very unpleasant. I didn't eat anything else after that because I had a bad taste in my mouth. The dessert selection was large. The cake was unfortunately a bit old. I'm no longer a fan of buffets. We spent over 120 euros with three adults and a small child. The buffet was far too expensive; everyone only had one drink.

The restaurant was actually very good. We go to the restaurant often. Yesterday (July 2, 2025) we reserved a table at around 7:30 p.m. Everything went smoothly. Unfortunately, there was nothing left to eat at the buffet. Almost all the bowls were empty. Even asking was slow. Some of the bowls remained empty anyway. The staff saw everything, but no one did anything. An employee came out of the kitchen, reached into the bowl with his hand, took some food out, put it in his mouth, and went back to the kitchen. That's completely unacceptable. We're avoiding this restaurant now, and our friends who heard about it will go to another restaurant. Word is getting around. Censorship 5-

Great food! Everything is super fresh and delicious! The waiters do a fantastic job. Unfortunately, only 4 stars because I'm not a big eater, and a buffet without a la carte is a bummer because I'll never finish the €27! So, unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

An absolutely great Mongolian restaurant. The diversity on offer here is rarely experienced. All products are super fresh and there is also a large vegetarian selection. The store is very nicely decorated for its size and has an Asian interior that is typical of Europe with many small elements that are worth discovering. The staff is careful, attentive and extremely friendly. Everything we were allowed to try was simply delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Of course it costs more in the evening than at lunch, but the buffet is much larger and you can put together the food better according to your own taste with spices etc. Birthday parties/dinners are also beautifully designed and specials are taken into account…typically Asian!!!

Visited a Chinese restaurant for the first time. The food was average. There was no sushi at all. The soup had one type with tomato and was very sour. The desserts are terrible. All the cakes are from store packages, the cheapest. There are no selections of fruits. There is no chocolate fountain. The ice cream is delicious. The worst thing is the toilet. He's in the basement going down a steep staircase. For me, a disabled person, this is a huge problem. I don't recommend the restaurant. I'll never come here again. I like China Star best. Everything is great there.

Went there today on a Saturday for the Mongolian buffet. A huge selection, unbelievable. Everything is clean and nicely decorated. Then there’s the live cooking. Always happy to come here. Great selection, everyone will find something to their taste. I also really like freshly prepared food on the grill. My favorite is the peeled shrimp. Service was very friendly as always, I can only say see you next time. By the way, I find it commendable that an organization here saves food in the evenings. Thanks for that, it's nice to see that not everything ends up in the bin.

I like coming here for the lunch buffet. Great price for all-you-can-eat. Which I also think is really good. You have to pay money if you don't finish the plate. You only get small plates, so you can get them several times and not so much at once. Which I find a bit tiring - but that's my own personal opinion. Everyone can decide for themselves... Personally, I find it a bit difficult that as soon as you have finished with a plate, the waitress rushes to the table and takes the plate away. You then have to get new plates. I don't think that's good for the environment because they then go straight into the dishwasher and are washed, even though you can still use the plate.

Some of the dishes are not home-cooked, but canned. That's my perception. For this reason alone, the food there is too expensive for me (around €30 per person). Not all employees are friendly. I rate the whole thing as 3 - satisfied (with a lot of potential for improvement).

We were there today with 6 people and it wasn't good. It cost 30 euros per person and the quality is not worth the price. When the child (14) didn't sit up, we had to pay an additional 18 euros for waste. And we weren't allowed to take the leftovers with us either. Simply not customer friendly and incomprehensible. We come to this restaurant regularly because it is - without any exaggeration - the best Asian restaurant within a radius of several kilometers. The ambience impresses with its successful, tasteful decoration and creates an atmosphere that is both inviting and pleasant. A special highlight, especially for children, is the charming cat robot that brings the food to the table in a friendly way. The operation is characterized by extremely child-friendly and a high degree of coordination. Even when the capacity is high, the team usually manages to find a place for spontaneous guests - a remarkable achievement. So far we have never been turned away, even when the house is full, which would of course be absolutely understandable and acceptable. Minor weaknesses occasionally show up in the area of ​​drinks: sometimes there are mix-ups, delays or even a complete absence of the drinks ordered. However, these inconsistencies only slightly cloud the overall impression, especially since the drinks menu is very extensive and varied. The culinary offering is without a doubt the greatest highlight of this establishment. Although the prices are in the upper segment, they seem more than justified given the excellent quality and the enormous selection. From freshly prepared sushi to exquisite fish and meat dishes to an impressive variety of desserts, there is little to be desired here. Particularly noteworthy is the Teppanyaki area, which offers another culinary highlight with its wealth of options. With minor optimizations in the service area, a perfect rating would be absolutely deserved.

We had reserved a table, were led to a room where all the tables were occupied and left standing there while the waitress picked up drinks from other tables. Completely overcrowded, not recommended on weekends, has the charm of a train station.
