I had dinner with my girlfriend today and it was incredibly good. The buffet has everything your heart desires, whether you like Asian or not, there is something for everyone. If you get up briefly to get something to eat, the old used plate is taken away and you can continue eating. The waiter with the French accent is super friendly and courteous. When asked, he brought me and my girlfriend extra creme bulee, even though it wasn't supposed to be served until later. I can only recommend it and I will definitely visit the shop again. LG

Loud, busy and, in my opinion, completely overrated. Actually like any buffet at an Asian restaurant, the selection of ready-made dishes is even less, but twice as expensive as other Asian restaurants.

I was at the Copper House for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. The restaurant is located in the Hamburger Kiez on Davidstrasse. The food is of great quality and the prices are reasonable. If you choose the buffet, you have the largest selection. There is something for every taste. Since the store is large, the volume is a little higher. Parking is easy in the surrounding parking garages, and public transport is also within walking distance.

I've never eaten such bad buffet food and then the price 😳 €39.50 wasn't worth it in my life.....

Unser Silvesteressen im Copper Haus war war von der Essen-Auswahl nicht schlecht, aber die 69,--Euro ohne Getränke nicht wert. Vom Buffet genommen war das Essen leider nur lauwarm und die Teller waren eiskalt. So hatte man nachher nur ein fast kaltes Essen vor sich. Dann schmecken einem auch die besten Speisen nicht. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Live Cooking: Large selection. Lots of oil in the food. The grill plates also seem to be set a little too hot, vegetables etc. burn quickly. If it weren't for that, I think it would be very good. 39€ per person, approx. 15€ for children

A very upscale buffet visit - for an "all you can eat Asian". Upon request, we even received tofu, even though it wasn't on the buffet. I found it very, very customer-oriented. All other dishes had a good selection, nothing particularly special. A bit of a poor selection for vegetarians/vegans, especially for the live grill.

Were there yesterday and wanted to leave straight away. You advertise many vegetarian and vegan dishes on the website. I definitely can't confirm that. There was NO CHOICE at all and what there was of "vegetables" (only beans) had to be paid 39 euros! Absolutely cheeky!

Very tasty buffet restaurant with Asian dishes

Very stylish and modern restaurant. We were left standing at the entrance for a few minutes, different staff walked past us several times (group of 6 people, we had reserved), no good evening or no one leaving straight away. There was a good evening from the gentleman at the cloakroom, but no question as to whether we wanted to hand in our jacket or a brief information that someone would come and look after us shortly. Good sushi and dessert selection, I can highly recommend crème brulee. The selection at the buffet is otherwise very clear. The only vegetables already fried were beans. During live cooking you have to stand until the food is ready; plates are not brought to your place. In the middle of the aisle, where people are constantly walking, there are trays of tomato, mozzarella and melon with chicory, without protection and without cooling.

Very very tasty and high quality. Despite the size of the restaurant, it wasn't busy or loud. We had a great evening.

This is a fun place to go if you are in a group. Great value for money and the service is friendly. I cannot speak German and the wait staff kindly got us a waiter who could speak English and every thing was explained to us. The spot cooking is nice and quick.

Four of us were there on Sunday evening. The reception is great. At the entrance the cloakroom is great. No guest has their jacket out of place. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The buffet is varied, a great mix of sushi, ready-made dishes and great fish and meat dishes that everyone can have prepared individually. The quality is very good. We love all sauces and try them all. The service is attentive and friendly. We have been there several times and will be back.

The food is exceptionally good for an Asian buffet in Germany. The duck - a poem, a little bit of vegetable variation, which is not missed on the dessert side, but rather celebrated: incredibly delicious poppy seed cake, bee sting and jelly cubes with the obligatory no less delicious vanilla sauce. A small point by the way, which is not immediately obvious, you can also order a la carte, which may put everything into perspective. Conclusion: I would definitely recommend the Copper House. Dazu sind sie sehr flink und räumen schnell benutze Teller und Co. ab, damit man immer Platz am Tisch hat und sich nichts stapelt. Ganz kleine Anmerkung muss jedoch sein. Eine Toilette (Männer) wurde nicht ordentlich zurück gelassen und war verstopft. Dies wurde dem Mitarbeiter mitgeteilt. Kleiner Verbesserungspunkt, auch die Sanitäranlagen sollte hin und wieder im Blick behalten werden. - Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Food 5/5 Am Essen ist absolut nichts auszusetzen! Riesige Auswahl, alle zutaten gibt es frisch zum selber und vor Ort nach Wünschen anbraten, dazu eine große Auswahl an Sushi, vielfältigen Soßen. Auch gibt es viel Gemüse als Ausgleich. Alles schmeckt sehr gut und man merkt, dass alles gerade frisch in der Großküche zubereitet wird. Schließlich gibt es auch eine ordentliche Auswahl an Desserts, nicht wie üblich nur die überbackene Banane. Hier gibt es wirklich für jeden etwas. Preis-/Leistung 4/5 Preislich ist das Copper House doch schon teuerer als vergleichsweise andere Restaurants. Bezieht man jedoch alle genannten Faktoren und Punkte in die Gleichung mit ein, ist auch der Preis zwar vergleichsweise höher als anders wo, jedoch vollkommen in Ordnung. Trotzdem muss ich ein Punkt abziehen, da das Copper House doch schon gehobener und teuerer ist als vergleichsweise andere Restaurants und es sicherlich nicht etwas für Jedermann ist. Kleiner Punkt nebenbei, welches nicht gleich ersichtlich ist, es kann auch a la carte bestellt werden, was ggf. alles etwas relativiert. Fazit: Ich würde das Copper House definitiv weiterempfehlen. Wer ein gutes asiatisches Restaurant sucht, der auch noch gerade Mal wenige Meter vom bekannten Hafen und Partymeile Reeperbahn entfernt ist, ist dies ein regelrechter Geheimtipp. Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Wir kommen seit mehr als 10 Jahren ins Copperhouse. Mittlerweile hat sich die Qualität sehr verschlechtert. Das Rinderfleisch war so zäh, es war nicht essbar. Die Muscheln waren nicht frisch. Die Zubereitung des schlechtgelaunten Kochs waren so etwas schlecht. Immer viel zu lange gebraten und mit viel Öl. Nächsten Morgen hatte ich nur Durchfall. Die Preise sind viel zu Hoch. Für den Wein zahlt man mind. 15 Euro mehr als bei anderen Restaurants in Hamburg und die Qualität des Weines ist noch geringer. Wir können das Restaurant auf keinen Fall empfehlen. Bitte meiden.

Das Essen war nicht wirklich lecker!! Fleisch und Fisch wurden auf der selben Stelle der Grillplatte gebraten! Das Sushi war von minderwertiger Qualität ähnlich wie man es im Supermarkt bekommt.Essen war fast alles kalt oder lauwarm.Ein positives gibt es allerdings die Cola Zero war lecker schön kalt und Zitrone war auch drin !! We were in a group of 12 for a business dinner with foreign clients at the Copper House. Unfortunately the evening didn't go as we expected. There was no instruction on how the buffet worked, so we had to learn from the other guests. The front cooking boss was visibly overwhelmed, and several times the food handed out was mixed up or some of it was given to other guests, so that one came away empty-handed and had to fill and hand over another plate. When asked about this, the chef just grumbled in a language that was difficult to understand and said that you should always stop at the serving table, but no one had explained that to us. When one of my customers put onion rings on his plate to be fried, the chef actually became very rude, made a muffled noise and waved his arms, which probably meant that this wasn't allowed. Nobody had explained that to us either. I apologized to my customer for the chef because I was very embarrassed. I definitely won't be coming back with guests. The selection at the buffet was manageable, there were relatively few options. There was hardly any choice, especially when it came to dessert, and the tiramisu I finally chose was still frozen inside and therefore inedible. Very unfortunate and once again embarrassing for my customers. But there are also positive things to report: apart from the fact that the waitresses didn't give us any instructions, they were very friendly. My customers also enjoyed the food, at least that's what they told us. Overall, I don't think it's a recommended restaurant because it's not just about the quality of the food.

The food was terrible for around €50 so mr cherng for €14 tastes much better I don't know if it's because it was during the week, but the buffet was partly cold and dry and the quality of the grilling wasn't really bad, but you could clearly see how savings had been made in the choice of ingredients, which is what you get with such an expensive all you can eat is a complete rip off!

Totally wrong. We had reserved a table at the COPPER HOUSE before our musical in February 2024. This was confirmed by email. Nobody knew about it on site. We still got a nice table. Probably due to the open buffet, there was a bit of a kitchen smell in the restaurant. We ordered 2 dishes from the menu, a glass of wine plus a tap water and a beer. The drinks arrived and the dishes shortly after. One thing was wrong. A kitchen mistake. For time and environmental reasons we accepted this. The HAMMER came with the bill. The meal was charged in full and even the glass of tap water was listed as “hot water” on the bill. If we save the innkeeper the cost of goods, an accommodation would have been nice. And nobody charges for the water except you. That's called style. I asked the waiter whether the combo was serious and was answered in the affirmative. Enjoy the money you earned, you'll never see us again. To be ashamed.

I’m Asian so I would say the Asian food here is adapted to the European taste. 🙈It’s a reverse cultural shock for me because we seldom eat in this style. 🙈I’m always happy to see rice is being served though. Nevertheless, I find the staff very friendly and the environment very neat and tidy. We spent around €40 per person.

The venue had a sleek and modern design, and the waiter was fluent in English, which made the dining experience pleasant. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and grilling it was a straightforward and quick process. I didn't give the place a five-star rating because the variety of food options didn't seem to justify the high prices. The restaurant's focus on meat might not make it an ideal choice for vegetarians. Additionally, the dessert choices were limited, and it would be helpful to have food labels in languages other than German.

A little disappointed with the food as well as the service. Here, during live cooking, all the dishes are placed directly next to each other and fried by the chef. So that the taste/juice of the fish products runs into the dishes without fish. As an allergy sufferer to fish and seafood, it was not possible for me to ask him to please fry my dish separately due to the language barrier (the chef does not understand German). Although he only used one ladle for all dishes (without cleaning in between), very hygienic! When I went to the waiter with my finished meal to point it out to him and express my disappointment. Sorry, wie schon einige geschrieben haben, für die Qualität und Auswahl völlig überteuertes Buffet; auch 7,50 für 0,75 L Wasser ist Grenzwerten; Essen auch bei uns am Selbstbedienungsteil nur lauwarm und an der Kochstation leider auch ein zu ungeduldiger Koch, so dass vieles eher „englisch“ blieb. Scheint bei Firmenfeiern beliebt zu sein, da spielt der Preis anscheinend keine Rolle. Für knapp 40€ kriege ich in Hamburg ein großes gutes ehrliches Steak.

And sometimes it was like a dovecote. The food was nothing exceptional or particularly great. The soup, the finished duck breast and calamari, for example, were only lukewarm. You can choose your own ingredients and then have them prepared by a chef. Unfortunately my food was completely burned and inedible. The price for the buffet of 39.90 per person is not justified. The best Asian in a long time, gladly again!

Service and ambience are good and worth 4 stars. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't convince me. The selection of ready-made dishes is not that large and unfortunately the taste is a disappointment. But sushi were surprisingly ok, just the variety was small. The things that are given for grilling are fresh and of good quality. I didn't like the waiting time until the grilled food was ready and unfortunately some of the things I gave away disappeared during the grilling. In other words, the separation of the different grilled items worked poorly and, for example, instead of tuna, I got a few other things that I didn't give away. I would also have found it to taste better if the grilled food was grilled together with the sauce, that's how I know it. But it wasn't possible here, you had to put the sauce on top after grilling. Overall, I expected more in terms of taste for the price, which is why I unfortunately only give the food 2 stars.

If you know what all-you-can-eat is about, you should stick to the dishes that have already been cooked. Tastes the same, if not better. Unfortunately the selection of dishes was very limited. The supposedly fried noodles tasted like cooked spaghetti with a little sauce poured over it. And there's hardly any mention of the range of desserts on offer. We only had a bit of fruit, tiramisu that tasted watery (rather like nothing) and at least a very tasty crème brûlée. There was no ice cream with whipped cream, pudding or anything like that... so it may sound like complaining at a high level, but with the buffet for 45 euros and drinks around 5 euros you can expect more than what was offered here. Mongolia in Norderstedt has everything that was missing here and is a lot cheaper, or in Neu Wulmstorf (if anyone ever happens to be at these far-out places) there is a really good buffet with a much better price-performance ratio. Here, however, you pay for the location, not the food. But I can't eat the situation... Admittedly, we got full quickly. Two plates and that lasted until the next morning. But the price-performance ratio is rather poor. The selection was too small and what was there wasn't all tasty. We could have ordered food for 100 euros and set up our own little buffet at home 😅 well. Once and never again. It's better to go to a medium-sized restaurant and benefit from a good price-performance ratio than to give the money to someone who has a highly decorative shop in an extremely sought-after location. He doesn't make any effort because the customers come one way or another. The shops that are located out of the way make an effort because there are not so many visitors rushing into the shop. That's what I learned and I can pass it on to everyone.

Waren super zufrieden. Da meine Verlobte durch eine Operation nicht viel essen kann( wirklich nicht viel, ein Brot ist schon fast zu viel), wurde aus Kulanz ihr Essen nicht angerechnet. Sehr nett und Sympathisch, gerne wieder.
