The food is always varied, fresh, and delicious – there's something for everyone 😊 You should definitely come with a big appetite and try all the different dishes – it's always a great experience 👌

The restaurant has more of a cafeteria atmosphere; it's huge, and consequently, the noise level is enormous. Despite this, I was able to have a conversation at the table. Upon entering, I first had to find someone to take my coat. After that, I was shown to our table. Nine out of ten people opted for the all-you-can-eat buffet. I ordered one dish from the menu. My friends commented positively on the food. My roast duck was good, but the portion was far too large and, overall, lacked finesse. The buffet cost approximately €40 per person. The price is probably due to the location; otherwise, it would be too expensive. The major problem here is the small number of staff. Despite the stress, they are friendly. This is where the restaurant is cutting corners. I don't think I need to eat here again; there are countless similar and better restaurants in Hamburg.

Everything was perfect – the atmosphere and food were superb, as were the drinks. A special thank you to the service staff, who ensured everything ran smoothly.

We held our Christmas party there. Great food, excellent service. Naturally, it was quite crowded and noisy. But I didn't expect anything different. Whether the price is justified is, of course, a matter of personal opinion.

The food is okay, but it's absolutely incomprehensible that it's so expensive. It doesn't taste any different than my favorite, "Asia Unique" in the Schanze district, but it tries to be Michelin-starred, which is a bit of an exaggeration. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet with a really wide selection, but for vegetarians or those looking for halal options, it's not worth the money. The desserts are very tasty, but I stand by my point: EXPENSIVE! It's as if only well-to-do people eat on the Reeperbahn, which is a shame.

A huge place, unfortunately very hectic during the live cooking. The food selection is rather limited, but the quality and taste are good. However, there are other restaurants with the same concept that I prefer. Therefore, probably no second visit.

I was in the shop over 15 years ago. The Copper House hasn't changed. Good, high-quality products, friendly staff. Simply lovely. It was so delicious. Our friends from Bremen and my husband were so impressed. Our Sunday brunch at the Copper House was fantastic. Thank you so much!

The food was excellent! Everything was fresh. I just didn't like the pan-fried beef. Otherwise, everything was great. The quality was excellent, and there was absolutely no fast-food mentality like some other restaurant owners.

We come here regularly and always order from the buffet. Everything is always very fresh and attractively presented. The chefs know how to handle their hot plates. Whether it's fish, seafood, or meat, they always cook it to perfection.

The restaurant's view is beautiful, and the staff attentive and friendly. Two of us had the buffet (€39.90) Per person... Drinks are NOT included in the price. In my opinion, it's completely overpriced. The remaining seven had à la carte. It's a shame that every dish had so much garlic that I couldn't eat it due to my garlic intolerance. I've eaten at many Asian restaurants, but this was the first one that was full of garlic... Sorry, but that's just not acceptable.

A very nice restaurant, with super friendly hosts. We arrived at 2:50 p.m. Lunch is only served until 3 p.m. No problem at all. The food was excellent and very plentiful. All in all, highly recommended.

The sushi is good, but it won't be the best of all. Certainly, the grill is the house specialty. Reasonable price for two people. Unfortunately, there was a table with a somewhat inappropriate family: the children were screaming, the mother did nothing to calm them down, and they were talking considerably loudly. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant experience. I would return.

We were there on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. for the live cooking/buffet. Service was very friendly and quick. The ambiance was okay, though not typical. The selection and variety weren't particularly extensive. The sushi looked like it had been sitting for a while, which is a no-go, especially with fish. There was also hardly any variety. The finished dishes were only lukewarm. The duck was bone dry. The dishes are prepared without sauces, which detracts from the savory flavor. Pouring the sauce afterward, also lukewarm, over the prepared dish doesn't really add much. The desserts were good, except for the lychees. Our conclusion: The restaurant scores points for its location, but unfortunately, nothing more. Our anticipation of good food was dampened.

A few days ago, my partner and I were out and about in St. Pauli and happened upon the Copper Haus. We were so pleasantly surprised by the food that we went back the next day. The quality was impressive, with a wide selection of fresh vegetables and good meat, making the higher price absolutely justified. The chef had separated the individual ingredients on the plate and seared the vegetables and meat separately according to their degree of doneness. In fairness, it should be said that the restaurant was quite quiet at that time.

Overall, the food was good, and mostly good. The selection of fresh fish for the live cooking was very good and super fresh. However, I was disappointed by the limited selection of meat. The selection and quality of the hot dishes was good, and the food was always replenished quickly. We didn't like some of the food, but that happens. It's not because we don't like it in general. The sushi was also wonderfully fresh. Overall, delicious and fresh, and almost worthy of 5 stars. But it's a deduction for the price of €40. I would have expected more selection. Service was quick and friendly. Drink prices were still okay. The men's restrooms were fine and clean, the women's weren't. They hadn't been mopped in a while, and only one toilet and one faucet worked.

Great service and fantastic food. The vegetarian options are a bit limited, but the roasted vegetables from the teppanyaki grill are definitely a reason to return.

Two of us ate there today and were so disappointed. The food was cold and completely overpriced for the selection compared to other restaurants that are significantly cheaper and where the buffet is three to four times as large. Live cooking is just a matter of frying. The dessert also left a lot to be desired; if you've never experienced anything else, it's okay, but if you're already used to eating a proper buffet, then you'd better stay away.

The service is super friendly and very attentive. The quality of the all-you-can-eat buffet is good to very good. The Coppers House is more expensive than its competitors, but the top-notch service is worth the difference. Please pay your staff properly. If the servers are unfriendly, the quality of the food is secondary or even inferior. You have very good servers. That has to be said. The quality of the freshness has been top-notch so far. I'll be back and can recommend it.

One of the highlights of our Hamburg trip! We visited the Copper House and were absolutely thrilled. The all-you-can-eat buffet for €39 offers a huge selection of freshly prepared dishes. The live cooking was particularly impressive, with beef, duck, chicken, salmon, and shrimp being freshly prepared right before our eyes – all of high quality and cooked to perfection. The sushi was also fresh and delicious, as was the varied dessert buffet with highlights like tiramisu and crème brûlée. Everything was clean, the restaurant had a great, cozy atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. For the price, you really get a great overall package – fresh, delicious, plentiful, and excellent value for money.

All in all a nice restaurant. The service (male in our case) was very friendly. The selection was too small for my personal taste; others have more. The taste was good though. The price was OK for a buffet. 1 Coke and 1 non-alcoholic cocktail cost €52, which you don't do every week, but it's thanks to VAT and energy/food prices that it remains a luxury for many people.

If you want live cooking and all-you-can-eat with excellent quality fish and meat, this is the place for you. The buffet selection was good, the fish was very fresh, and there wasn't a strong smell of grease or anything like that, even though the food was constantly being cooked. We had a table by the window where we could sit in peace, and the service was very attentive. However, for the price, it's only worth it if you can eat a lot; the dishes themselves are pretty basic, with no major highlights, but they are delicious.

We always enjoy visiting copperhaus! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant – modern, clean, and cozy. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We are particularly impressed by the cleanliness: tables are cleaned regularly, and used dishes are cleared away immediately. You can tell that great importance is placed on hygiene and order here. The BBQ area is also excellent – ​​a large selection of fresh vegetables and various meats, all of very good quality. We are always very satisfied and enjoy our visit. We will definitely be happy to come back and can only recommend the Kopperhaus!

How are the stars awarded? We had a great time as a group because a) we were served promptly and friendly with drinks. We didn't even want to eat. b) there was enough space for the large group on the covered terrace. c) the view of the hustle and bustle on the "Schanze" was highly entertaining. Meanwhile, inside the huge dining room with at least 300 seats, the equally huge buffet was being prepared. Everything looked delicious. We're rating the friendly waiter and the outdoor terrace here.

Amazing food ! In a very long time me and my husband had a great time with really amazing food. The quality of the produce is just wow. The lamb the seafood. Just fresh and best quality. That’s why everything tasted so great. We ate and enjoyed every bite. The desserts were delicious as well. Loved it. If I’m in Hamburg again I’m definitely come to this restaurant again. The seating area is also very nice and cozy.

More focus on stylish ambience than quality. Anything that wasn't freshly prepared was lukewarm at best. partly not labeled (makes it difficult for vegetarians). The taste is also not convincing, especially the fried sushi and the spring rolls. Tiramisu and creme brullee were not edible.

We were there for lunch with 9 colleagues. If you order from the lunch menu you can choose between 3 starters (2 salads, 1 soup) and then there is a small selection from the menu. So far so good. The Asian salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, a bit of carrot, tomato and cucumber. What was Asian about it was an Asian sauce in the dressing. You can do it, but I would have saved the iceberg lettuce. Iceberg lettuce can't do anything, tastes like nothing and rather detracted from the impression for me. The duck salad version has the same base but with duck meat sprinkled on top. The soup was said to have tasted OK, but the promised spicy was a long time coming. The main courses themselves deserve praise. Everything was freshly prepared, tasted very good and the quantities were more than enough for men. My Buddhist holy meal impressed with super fresh and perfectly cooked vegetables. Delicious and crunchy, just like I love Asian cuisine. The crispy duck was also highly praised across the board. However, there is still one downer to be mentioned. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but things were still moving quite slowly. Until the drinks could be ordered, the food should be taken separately. But first the drinks were brought and then the pre-set glasses were put away. What goes with dinner in a nice restaurant is simply too tedious at lunchtime, especially with just one waiter. So it took us a good 1.5 hours for lunch, which is just too long.

Unfortunately it's just a shadow of what it once was. When cooking live, everything is poured with oil so that it floats in it. The ingredients (vegetables) were obviously not freshly cut. Unfortunately it is no longer what it was at the beginning.

The Copper Haus Buffet Restaurant in St. Pauli is a place that divides opinions. On the one hand, the buffet selection is huge, with something for everyone. However, the quality of the food is rather average. The atmosphere is lively and convivial, which is perfect for groups or a casual evening. Those expecting a culinary highlight may be disappointed, but for a casual meal with friends, it's certainly an option.

That was a strange evening at the Copperhouse. Right from the start, the waiter kindly but expressly advised against ordering “a la carte”. "The kitchen doesn't have time for this and you then have to wait at least an hour for your food...". Why do you offer "a la carte" when these orders are obviously not wanted? There is (understandably) no vegetarian or vegan options from the buffet, "a la carte" is not desired, and vegans/vegetarians probably not either. The so-called “live cooking” costs €39.50/person plus drinks. However, in my opinion, warm buffet food, meat/fish cooked "live" and bagged tiramisu (at the Asian restaurant...) and ready-made brownies are by far not worth the €39.50 per person. The quality of the food is ok, but unfortunately not more than that. I don't have a problem with the price, just the value offered. I like to go out to eat to have a delicious meal prepared by the chef - who, unlike me, can hopefully cook - and to spend time in pleasant company in a beautiful atmosphere. In the Copperhouse there is always someone at the buffet or waiting (often in a queue) for the food that you have put together yourself with more or less cooking talent (the chef then only fried, salted and peppered it). So there is no food that I couldn't prepare at home, even if I had little talent, and the social gatherings are actually always incomplete. In addition, there are not really clean plates at the buffet. If you're only concerned about quantity and want to eat as much meat as possible for your money, you'll get your money's worth. In my opinion, someone who wants to spend a convivial evening with good food is in the wrong place here. We won't be coming back.

The best Asian buffet I know! No matter whether it's the tuna, the warm food or the sushi, all the ingredients are of very good quality and really fresh. Even on the grill, every piece of meat, fish or vegetables was grilled to perfection - it couldn't be better. The service was always very attentive and cleared everything quickly.

Wir sind als Familie aber auch Geschäftlich dort oft zu Gast. Ich bin auch Weltweit auch viel unterwegs und Buffet Restaurants sind eine sehr gute Alternative, gearde auch mit Kindern. Das Copper House in Hamburg ist das weltweit beste Buffet Restaurant was wir genießen durften. Die Auswahl an den Lebensmitteln ist sensationell für diesen Preis, von sehr frischen Fischauswahl wie Thunfisch, Lachs, Steinputt etc, über alle Meeresfrüchte und sogar ganzen Jacobs Muscheln. Natürlich auch sehr gutes argentinisches Rinderfielt, Hähnchenbrust, Lamm etc. Sehr große Auswahl an Gemüse und vor allem Pilzsorten. Dies wird einem dann vor dem Augen an einem bzw mehreren Teppanyaki Grills zubereitet. Aber es gibt auch schon ca. 10 vorgefertigte weitere fisch zubereitete Standardgerichte, sehr viele Vorspeisen und natürlich sehr gutes frisches Sushi. Tatsächlich wundere ich mich immer wieder über den günstigen Preis für dieses sehr hochwertige Essen. In einem normalen Restaurant würde schon alleine die Hauptspeise den Buffetpreis ausmachen. Hier hat man aber noch die reichhaltige Vorpseisen, Sushi und wenn man sehr hungrig ist oder gerne lange und ausgiebig zusammen isst noch mehrfache Hauptspeisen inkl. Die Location ist super modern und hochwertiges Interior (Copper House) neben dem Riverside Hotel mit der Skybar. Das Restaurant hat auch eine wunderbare Lage direkt am Hamburger Kiez und kann nach einem zb Schmidt Tivoli Besuch oder einer Musical Besuch bzw Hafenrundfahrt hungrig besucht werden. Parkplätze nehmen wir immer beim Riverside Hotel in der Tiefgarage. Für uns als große Familie ist das Copper House und das Yu Garden die besten Restaurants der Stadt.

I had dinner with my girlfriend today and it was incredibly good. The buffet has everything your heart desires, whether you like Asian or not, there is something for everyone. If you get up briefly to get something to eat, the old used plate is taken away and you can continue eating. The waiter with the French accent is super friendly and courteous. When asked, he brought me and my girlfriend extra creme bulee, even though it wasn't supposed to be served until later. I can only recommend it and I will definitely visit the shop again. LG

Loud, busy and, in my opinion, completely overrated. Actually like any buffet at an Asian restaurant, the selection of ready-made dishes is even less, but twice as expensive as other Asian restaurants.

It was a great evening. We were there with a large international group (60 people). Everyone can find something tasty and high quality to eat. The buffet is always relaxed and no one has to wait long.

Der Preis für das Buffet ist schon hoch. Die Qualität ist dafür wirklich gut. Leider sind einzelne eigentlich warme und fertige Speisen lauwarm oder sogar kalt. Auch würde ich erwarten, dass man bei einem Buffetpreis von 49 Euro, die frisch gebratenen Speisen an den Tisch gebracht bekommt. Hier muss man warten. Die Bedienung ist relativ schnell und spricht relativ gut deutsch. Das Ambiente ist ganz toll.

It's ok, Greater Asians like everyone else

I was at the Copper House for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. The restaurant is located in the Hamburger Kiez on Davidstrasse. The food is of great quality and the prices are reasonable. If you choose the buffet, you have the largest selection. There is something for every taste. Since the store is large, the volume is a little higher. Parking is easy in the surrounding parking garages, and public transport is also within walking distance.

I've never eaten such bad buffet food and then the price 😳 €39.50 wasn't worth it in my life.....

Ein sehr schönes Buffetrestaurant. Das Speisenangebot ist reichhaltig und entspricht dem klassischen Buffet. Preisleistung ist vielleicht etwas übertrieben. Trotzdem war es schön.

Kann die gaststätte nichts gutes sagen essen so Sch,echt Steak hart wie eine schuhsohle für den Preis könnte man besseres verdanke, der Kellner hat man selten gesehen ,wenn man eine so große gaststätte hat kann Mann nicht so viel Leute reinlassen ,man kann die gaststätte nicht weiter empfehlen oder man sollte die Preise senken.

Unser Silvesteressen im Copper Haus war war von der Essen-Auswahl nicht schlecht, aber die 69,--Euro ohne Getränke nicht wert. Vom Buffet genommen war das Essen leider nur lauwarm und die Teller waren eiskalt. So hatte man nachher nur ein fast kaltes Essen vor sich. Dann schmecken einem auch die besten Speisen nicht. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

A very upscale buffet visit - for an "all you can eat Asian". Upon request, we even received tofu, even though it wasn't on the buffet. I found it very, very customer-oriented. All other dishes had a good selection, nothing particularly special. A bit of a poor selection for vegetarians/vegans, especially for the live grill.

Whenever we are in Hamburg, we eat at the Copper House. That's 4-5 times a year. We are always amazed by the food and service. Very nice people, we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Were there yesterday and wanted to leave straight away. You advertise many vegetarian and vegan dishes on the website. I definitely can't confirm that. There was NO CHOICE at all and what there was of "vegetables" (only beans) had to be paid 39 euros! Absolutely cheeky!

Very stylish and modern restaurant. We were left standing at the entrance for a few minutes, different staff walked past us several times (group of 6 people, we had reserved), no good evening or no one leaving straight away. There was a good evening from the gentleman at the cloakroom, but no question as to whether we wanted to hand in our jacket or a brief information that someone would come and look after us shortly. Good sushi and dessert selection, I can highly recommend crème brulee. The selection at the buffet is otherwise very clear. The only vegetables already fried were beans. During live cooking you have to stand until the food is ready; plates are not brought to your place. In the middle of the aisle, where people are constantly walking, there are trays of tomato, mozzarella and melon with chicory, without protection and without cooling.

Very very tasty and high quality. Despite the size of the restaurant, it wasn't busy or loud. We had a great evening.
