Kentucky Fried Chicken in Coburg

I don't expect luxurious food from fast food, but I've been to many fast food chains and other KFCs, and this one is truly a complete disaster. I only ordered one thing and still had to wait 20 minutes, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The chicken was cold and undercooked inside. I had severe stomach pains afterward, and this is the third time something like this has happened to me here. This was definitely my last visit to KFC.

Generally speaking, you get what you'd expect from a KFC. However, this restaurant urgently needs to improve its cleanliness and technical condition. The floor is often sticky, and the lights have been flickering for weeks. Annoying.

Everything is good but no sauce

Simply fantastic! The food was incredibly delicious. I'd also like to particularly highlight the staff: super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. I'll definitely be back and can only recommend it!

Service is overrated with one star. The team is completely out of control and completely clueless. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet there were insane wait times of around 15 minutes. Others who had ordered before me were still waiting for their orders while I had already finished eating in the restaurant. That's not how it works at KFC.

Oooo that was soooo bad, Chrispi Chicken, there was a piece of chicken on it that was as small as a fish finger and so much dry burger like for diabetics... we won't be coming to you again

I was recently at KFC Coburg and was served by Cris. She was super friendly, fast, and always had a smile on her face. Despite the busyness, he kept a cool head and handled every order with ease. Thank you, Cris – keep up the good work!

Only when I asked at the drive in (after 5 minutes) was I told to wait a moment (which had never happened before) after another 10 minutes. There was still no information from the staff, so we continued driving, even though there was basically nothing going on. That's what I call customer-oriented work... I don't know that from other branches. All I can say about the comments from other users is that they are true (missing items when ordering in the drive-thru) and some dried-out chicken parts. So I won't be coming to this branch again.

Ordered a meal at the drive-thru and didn't get what I ordered. Immediately after receiving it, I went to the branch and said that I had been given the wrong food. I was then told that the menu I had ordered and that was advertised on the billboard in the drive-thru did not exist and that I should please leave with my order. The burger I got instead of the chicken pieces wasn't particularly good and the fries were barely salted. Furthermore, the ketchup I ordered was not in the bag.

Food doesn't taste like other KFC branches. I have the feeling that something is not right here. Quality of the food is the lowest level. Chicken pieces tiny, dry and inedible. Has nothing to do with KFC.

Can't understand all the hate. Sometimes the employees can be a bit awkward, but that's normal for a relatively new branch. But they are still nice like no other in the district!! The two Indonesians in particular are super nice and I really enjoy coming because of them!!! The Crispys are perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. I've rarely seen it stay the same over several orders. In my opinion, hardly any other branches can keep up with the food, and especially not the one in Bamberg (nearest). Furthermore, the Arab woman (?) with the tattoos is incredibly beautiful and likeable! Please pass on the compliments to the team, everyone else is great too!

The friendly staff didn't understand us, neither did we, so we left. KFC no thanks! A minimum level of knowledge of German would definitely be an advantage in service. The toilets were a little unclean on our first (and definitely last) visit to this KFC. All in all, no recommendation from us.

Empty restaurant and have been waiting for 30 minutes for 4 pieces of chicken that should take 10 minutes. Order HAD to be made at the machine, only to be told AFTER payment that they didn't have any chicken parts. It's not common for you to want to get chicken at KFC.

Unfortunately there are no more than 2 stars. The food for us adults was ready within 5 minutes at peak time, but it was almost ice cold. The children's menu took almost 20 minutes, and then the nuggets were terribly spicy. Working there with only two people at lunchtime isn't exactly friendly either. There was really a lot going on and both of them were completely overwhelmed. The taste didn't really convince me either; what was too spicy for the child was missing for us.

Unfortunately, the first meal is on the tray and gets cold by the time the rest is ready, and working with money and then reaching into the bag of fries is not an option

Yesterday we were there three quarters of an hour before closing time, but unfortunately we discovered that the employees had long since locked the doors so that you could no longer get into the restaurant - although there were still guests inside. The employees didn't want to open the door and ignored us. So we got back in the car and into Drive. Not only did the employee barely understand our order due to the obvious strong language barrier, he also didn't want to sell us a second fries (apparently there was only one portion left) or fillet bites because half the range was supposedly sold out. So we ordered a 9 Wings Box and two Zinger Burgers. However, the fries and wings were obviously old and hard (they had probably been there for a long time) and a Zinger burger was topped with the wrong meat. Worst service I've experienced in a long time. Too bad.

Dirt... You wait for what feels like 30 minutes for a simple order. The employees are very unfriendly and speak poor German. In the back of the kitchen, the employees prefer to be on their cell phones instead of finishing my order. They didn't respond to my complaint and caused me even more stress... Very bad service, you can't call that fast food but long food as long as you wait!!!

Probably the worst KFC in Bavaria by far. Waiting times from here until the border opens. The staff is absolutely 100% not interested in their job and the best is saved for last. The damn Coke was empty. The iced tea was empty. Only the stupid Pepsi diet stuff was still there and when someone asked about it, they said it was just the way it was

I tested the restaurant in the drive for the first time, ordered a bucket with 2 side dishes and 2 dips, 1 side dish was missing and the sauce was missing from the mashed potatoes, and the dips weren't included either. Attention everyone: check your order before you leave. It was a small order and the restaurant wasn't very busy, which was really annoying when the quality of the service was so poor given the prices.

Total disaster, things are always missing from orders even if you don't order a lot. When I ordered there was raw bacon in the food.

We ordered from the machine at the store, but the first terminal was faulty. Looking at what we got, I thought half was missing. But nothing was probably missing, it was just not enough, for the money! And the meat was undercooked. Nobody cleans there, it's dirty. Service unpleasant. A better alternative is the Burger King next door. I do not recommend here. Never again.

Where should I start? We ordered our food from the vending machine and then the chaos began. In total we waited 15 minutes for our food, even though we were the only guests served. But the worst thing was that some of our food was put in the boxes which gave us cold food. In addition, some of our food was not given to us - so KFC still owes me €8. 🫤 It was clear that the store employees were overwhelmed as they couldn't even close our boxes. I suspect that the staff's lack of knowledge of German and general understanding was a major problem. In the end the boss came and just told me to go somewhere else, she didn't need me as a customer. For perspective, we were there in the afternoon and the store was empty while other fast food restaurants nearby were full. One thing is certain for us – we will never go there again.

Totally grease-smeared and therefore extremely slippery floor at the counter/pick-up area. My advice to clean it just to be on the safe side was listened to, checked and ignored...

First, what we wanted was no longer available and generally it was too expensive and rushed.

The black-haired woman who called herself “boss” is by far the unfriendly service employee I have had to experience in a long time. The customers before and after us were also treated so unfriendly that they even canceled their order and went to the Burger King next door. She was both abusive and aggressive and seemed to have no idea how to deal with customers. Really very disappointing and absolutely not recommended. How anyone can hire this woman as a “leader” is a complete mystery to me. It's better to use the other locations in the nearby area and save yourself the hassle of dealing with this restaurant.
