Kentucky Fried Chicken in Lehre

Huge disappointment. This restaurant doesn't exist! There's a sign on the highway, though. The first time I drove past it, it was a construction site, and today the employees were inside eating, while customers outside were directed to the drive-thru. But there was no food there (KFC, and then they said, "We're out of chicken pieces." KFC without chicken = McDonald's without burgers. OMG)

I don't know about the food, but the guys from Krakow are currently renovating it :) Regards!

Wendhausen breathes a sigh of relief! Since KFC began its renovations three weeks ago, the familiar sweetish, unpleasant smell—many would call it a stench—that regularly spreads across the town during southerly winds and temperature inversions has disappeared. Basically, it smells like your neighbor grilling cheap marinated chicken pieces for hours every day—very unpleasant. We all sincerely hope that the current modernization also includes the filtration systems and that the previous olfactory disaster will be a thing of the past after the reopening. The residents have been able to breathe a sigh of relief for a few weeks and want to continue living without constant odor pollution. Thank you in advance, and here's to good neighborly relations!

The food tastes great and is ready relatively quickly. It's not particularly fancy, but not shabby either. I don't go to a fast-food restaurant because I want fancy food, but because I want something quick. It's a bit more expensive, but then, you don't get KFC every day.

Disappointing. The meal wasn't complete, but after asking, we received everything. The fries were soggy. The restaurant was dirty. The tables and floor were dirty (although they should also appeal to the common sense of some restaurant patrons not to leave the table looking so dirty!). The restrooms, however, are absolutely terrible. Very dirty!

The food is okay, just like in every other branch. Unfortunately, every time we're here, the staff is massively understaffed and somewhat incompetent. Sometimes the call numbers are given in such a way that no one knows what they're supposed to be. It's not uncommon for us to have to wait 40-60 minutes for the food.

Waited over 20 minutes for two sandwiches that were cold. I do not recommend.

I'd love to give it 0 stars, but it's not possible. There was barely any meat on the chicken wing, the Pepsi tasted stale, the service swapped our food with another customer, the toilets stink and are dirty, and overall, it's very plain.

Fast food, unfortunately not the quality I remembered from KFC. Rather disappointing, especially considering the comparatively high prices.

We've been here several times and are almost always disappointed. Either the food takes forever to arrive, something isn't available, or the tray carts are full. However, we always get full, and there's parking right outside. Unfortunately, there are few alternatives nearby.

The restrooms here weren't nice at all (cleanliness and smells). The rest was okay.

We stopped here on our way through. As everyone else has already said, everything here is completely filthy and dirty. I'd hate to know what the kitchens are like. Everything tasted okay, but I wonder how the cheese sauce is justified at €2.49. It barely covered the bottom of our cup, a huge mess.

I was at the drive-thru yesterday and was served by Ms. Sasi (hope I spelled that right), and it was simply wow. I've never been greeted as warmly and friendly as she was. I wish her all the best, and the food was great, too.

It's not all that great – even the ordering app is complete garbage. No more KFC for me, for now.

Better to go to another KFC than this one. No toys for kids, no menus, fake burgers, restrooms stink of urine. Toilet stall doors don't lock, toilet paper holders are on the floor, and according to the cleaning schedule, they haven't been cleaned in a while...

We were passing through there for about an hour until 1.5 hours before closing time. The fries tasted of old oil and weren't crispy. The burgers were lukewarm.

My tandoori burger actually tasted good, but I think it's a shame that everything was spicy or rather peppery. The restrooms were very dirty, and certainly not just from today.

The food was very good for a fast food restaurant, but the preparation time wasn't that fast. I liked the staff. They informed me if it was going to take a little longer and seemed motivated. The atmosphere was decent, but the restrooms weren't in great condition.

Just like any other. These days, they only order and pay at vending machines. And something always goes wrong: one cup too few, the wrong sauces, a forgotten toy, but the kids love it.

There are only four ordering terminals, and they're right by the entrance, so it gets backed up when the terminals are occupied. The food itself wasn't that great, I have to say. You can eat there once in a while, but you don't have to. 😉

We always go there with the grandchildren. We're not particularly fond of the food ourselves. It's quick, and the little ones love it.

It's nice to sometimes pull off the road for a chicken joint, but unfortunately, I think it was just plain dirty. Plus, the wings, from my perspective, weren't fully cooked. On the plus side, I didn't have any gastric problems, which I often get after KFC. Overall, I can recommend grabbing something quick and tasty on the road, though nothing mind-blowing.

The food was absolutely not tasty; the little I ate gave me a stomach ache, nausea, and bloating. The only thing that was friendly and accommodating was the staff. Never again KFC

The food is always good. However, if you choose an inconvenient time, you can expect to wait quite a long time. The tables could also be wiped down more often; they're often dirty.

The toilets are broken and dirty. There's no such thing as fast food here. Preparation takes forever.

KFC, like any roadside one. If you're looking for UK promotions and prices, don't go there. The chicken tastes the same as anywhere else. I think it's expensive (more than I'm used to paying in the UK), but overall, it's okay.

My five-star rating is specifically based on comparisons with other fast-food restaurants. I should note that we were the last customers of the evening and entered the store just two minutes before closing time. Nevertheless, all the employees were very friendly and accommodating – something you unfortunately don't experience everywhere, even during the day at the start of a shift. Furthermore, we even received a little more food than we originally ordered. It was also particularly positive that we were able to enjoy our meal inside, even though the store was already officially closed and the employees had already started cleaning.

This was my first time at KFC (at BS-Lehre, in the Lohbalken neighborhood). Elias's service was unbeatable in terms of friendliness and commitment! Everything was explained perfectly, he was very patient, and the food was simply amazing! We'll be back!

A KFC at a truck stop on the A2. Since we needed to fill up anyway, we stopped here for a quick bite. The food we ordered was tasty and plentiful, and you can choose your own drinks (and refill them). One of the better KFCs we've been to on the Autobahn so far.

They skimp on chicken here! Most of the chicken pieces are less than a quarter the size of those in other restaurants. Many were even smaller than a little finger. While tasty, the portions were far too small. Absolutely not a recommended restaurant!

Hello KFC team. I'm really impressed with this KFC. Compared to Braunschweig, you're really valued here. We went to eat with my wife and child and were served personally because we don't like ordering on a tablet. The little man in the shirt is really nice; he even brought us the food to the table himself because he must have seen that I couldn't carry anything with my broken leg and splint. You rarely see such service and kindness. Big praise to the young man, he does everything correctly as it should be done. Many people should work with such an attitude. I always like coming back here, even if the journey is 15 minutes longer. The restrooms and the restaurant itself are super clean. You can see from the reviews that it wasn't every now and then, but during my visit I can't complain about anything; everything was great and the food was very fresh.

Fast food okay while being in transit

Hot Wings are 90% breading, the remaining 10% meat. This is probably the worst KFC I've ever eaten at. I do not recommend it.

If you like food from the previous diners you are in good hands here if you take a seat at the table (chips and mayo crumbs were lovingly left behind as decoration). Cleanliness is not taken so seriously here, or it is the lack of staff. Tray clearers are just not the best job, so no one does it, so the tray tower had to be treated with care, but Jenga helped us clear away our leftovers.

The hut is burning, and the service is so slow you could resole his shoes while walking. Is there air conditioning there? If so, why isn't it on? The air was so unbearable, unbearable.

The new Squid Game Korean chicken made fresh is something to test out. It reminds you more of a "real meal" than fast food.

Terrible Service and food even worse

What an unpleasant place. After seeing the restrooms (one without a seat, the other with a seat on top, so you couldn't lock the door), I left. I didn't want to imagine what the kitchen looked like. Anyone who offers this kind of "service" doesn't deserve my money.

It's unbelievable how long you have to wait for your food. The product combinations and selections are far too complicated; the staff seem completely disorganized. A disaster.

NOW AGAIN. A TOTAL RIP-OFF... 25 euros for 3 tiny pieces of chicken. The staff uses tongs to dig through the tray to make sure the smallest pieces end up in the box. We're done with the store. Especially since this isn't the first time the staff has reduced the portion size. Probably for their own consumption. No Coke, no salad, and no more fries for sale... The new delivery isn't coming for another day. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant. Especially not in a fast food joint. The only thing missing is for them to run out of chicken...

Ordering on the screen seems more complicated to me than at other comparable establishments, as they offer so many options and variations. However, this was also my first visit. The printed receipt for six meals was very long and difficult to navigate. The food itself has too much breading for my taste, but others like it. The staff is friendly, and the free refills on drinks are a positive.

I have to admit that I was really disappointed with the food! Unfortunately, there was way too much breading, everything just tasted floury, and it was completely saturated with oil. Very satisfied! The KFC in Leer pleasantly surprised me. The staff was friendly, and my order was prepared quickly and correctly. The food was fresh, hot, and just as delicious as expected – the crispy chicken was especially great! The branch was clean and well-organized, even during peak times. I'll be happy to come back when I'm in the area.

Restroom: The faucet in the women's restroom didn't work, the toilet paper was empty, the tiles were broken, the sink was very dirty, and the toilet seat was stuck at 7:30. What about the kitchen? Something was missing from the order, cutlery only available upon request. The seats were covered in crumbs, the wallpaper was torn and dirty. The chicken pieces tasted more like grease, the wrap was very sparsely filled, the burger was mediocre, and the fries still tasted half-raw. Not recommended!

We went to KFC today just before closing time, but they refused to serve us food, even though there were six minutes left. Luckily, they served us immediately at Burger King, even though there was only a minute left until closing time. Don't go there again!

This morning, shortly after 10 a.m., we stopped here to charge our car. We were probably the first customers of the day. Accordingly, everything was clean and fresh. It's just KFC to KFC quality, but unfortunately, it's a bit difficult to get to from the gas station or the charging stations; you have to sprint across the country through the driveway of the inn without being hit by a truck or Hilti Passat.

A huge rip-off. I went there with my family and ordered food for €51. It was a huge disappointment. A few burgers, and a bucket for €20 looks full of breaded chicken on the KFC website, but what did we get???? A teacher's bucket with only a few thin, small chicken pieces in it. Really disappointing... Never going back ☹️☹️☹️☹️
