Tierpark Ströhen - Restaurant in Lehre

Huge disappointment. This restaurant doesn't exist! There's a sign on the highway, though. The first time I drove past it, it was a construction site, and today the employees were inside eating, while customers outside were directed to the drive-thru. But there was no food there (KFC, and then they said, "We're out of chicken pieces." KFC without chicken = McDonald's without burgers. OMG)

I wanted a chocolate shake. I got a watery milk with a cardboard flavor. When I asked the waitress about it, they said it was always like that. Never again, for me.

Family gathering for Christmas. During the reservation process, there was no mention of a Christmas menu, which had absolutely nothing to do with Italian food. Vegetarians weren't considered at all, and children weren't really catered for either (there was one dish with no alternative). Everyone who was looking forward to Italian cuisine was bitterly disappointed, as there were no pizzas or pasta dishes. Nothing from the online menu was available. The overpriced and very meager portions of the dishes that were served were as follows: The small portions on the plate were tasty, but even then, the menu listed potatoes, but dumplings were served, and the salad plate advertised on the menu was nowhere to be found. Furthermore, the food was lukewarm, and when ordering, it wasn't clear whether the dishes contained soy or not. When ordering drinks for our group of 10, the waiter was completely overwhelmed, and nobody knows what he wrote down. It took him four attempts before everyone actually got their drinks, not because they couldn't carry them all together, but because he kept forgetting some. And that's not even mentioning the fact that we were sitting at the table with our jackets on because it was simply too cold and they couldn't manage it. To top it all off, two people came in later, presumably a father and son, and they did get pizza, which we were denied.

Good food, great service, reasonable prices. Would gladly come again.
