The food was great, the ambiance was also wonderful, but unfortunately the service didn't live up to the price point. The appetizers were served separately, so we didn't eat together. The same thing happened with the main courses; they arrived shortly after the appetizers, so the food got cold. The service was generally unenthusiastic and didn't match the otherwise excellent style.

On Saturday, we tried to give the restaurant one more chance to improve. The ambiance in the garden is wonderful, and that was the reason we reserved a table. When we arrived, there were no free tables, so we were seated at a cocktail table in the front area to wait. From then on, it was like deja vu. The wait is definitely not shortened by being asked if we wanted a drink. You sit and watch the staff walk by. After it became clear that no table would be available, the waitress came by and started setting the table. That was the end of our patience. We left the restaurant. The owner's attempt to persuade us to stay was unsuccessful, given our previous visit. We ended up getting a proper table there, and the food arrived, but she wasn't keen on selling drinks back then. And two hours with two glasses of wine might be enough for many, but not for us. We won't be going back.

Simply WOW 🤩 What a blast. The ambiance is incredible. You'd expect that more in Berlin than in tranquil Potsdam. The outdoor area is a true oasis of well-being, shielding you from everyday life. There are well-tended plants everywhere, a large koi pond, and romantic lanterns. Plus, great tableware. The service is also good. The food was quite expensive, but delicious. A clear recommendation for a place where you want a wonderful experience for all the senses.

Modern ambiance in the restaurant. Spacious and beautifully landscaped outdoor area. Friendly and attentive service, sometimes a bit too fast. Main courses were served before we'd even finished our appetizers. Our appetizers and main courses were very attractively presented. Fresh produce; good quality; very tasty. Attractive menu, good selection. Selected bottled wines, some quite expensive. Very limited selection of wines by the glass, but unfortunately only available in 0.2 liters.

At this high price level, guests don't expect the entire table to be fully set for white tablecloths until they've repeatedly requested them. It was carelessly prepared and full of bones, gristle, and gristle. A definite no-go at these prices. At first, we thought the food would be served in a delicious broth. A fantastic restaurant with a tasteful ambiance and consistently high food quality. The service has steadily improved since our first visit, when relatively young staff were still being trained. I find it particularly remarkable that, despite the high aesthetic standards, the atmosphere is always relaxed. The cosmopolitan dining concept is well thought out and works (for us).

The food was very good, and the portion sizes were also very good. We tried sushi and Vietnamese dishes. The atmosphere inside is chic/cool, while the outdoor area is relaxed and Asian, with a large koi pond. My only criticism is the service, which is simply a no-go for a restaurant in this price range. At first, they were pushy, asking every minute whether we had already chosen. This was completely unnecessary, as the restaurant was at most 40% full and it wasn't getting any busier. Questions could only be answered in part. It's important to know whether a dish is flambéed or candied. Afterward, there was a change, and the new waitress was unfriendly to the point of being grumpy, and remained so until we left the restaurant. It's a shame: such delicious food and then such poor service.

It had been on my list of restaurants to visit for a long time. Last night was the day. The atmosphere is truly wonderful, with a wonderful outdoor seating area in the courtyard. Nice ambiance inside and appropriate service – unfortunately, the latter was very inflexible and not as welcoming as I would have expected given the high prices. The food was okay, but unfortunately, the dishes arrived at the table at a fast-food pace. What's not quite right is the value for money. A bottle of mineral water costs €9.50, while the dishes all cost €30+. This is probably why they don't publish a menu online. Once and never again: the transition from street food to fine dining was not successful – I'd rather go back to the "little Keng" in the city center.

I've eaten here twice now and was negatively surprised both times. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. You might prefer to go to My Keng or Chi Keng. The atmosphere is different there, but the food is better. The food doesn't even begin to live up to the prices charged. Maybe in terms of presentation, but definitely not in terms of taste. The service would be a disaster even in the normal price range.

The food and wine were excellent. The ambience is very dignified and beautiful. The wine cellar is very well stocked with fine wines, but also with gin and other delicacies. The garden is highly recommended in summer, quiet and you can watch the koi. Overall, absolutely recommended.

Very chic, small card. Starter Avodaco salad and salmon carpaccio. The avodado comes in slices, marinated a little in soy sauce vinaigrette. Tasty. The salmon carpaccio is good, nicely presented, balanced and sprinkled with soy sauce. The main course is flat rice noodles with prawns, or with, beware, fusion cuisine, French duck. The third dish comes in the form of rice, vegetables and salmon, all of which is a bit unimaginative for the price range of just under €30 per main course. The drinks are shockingly priced and disappointing. The beer is definitely priced ok, an aperitif at €12.50 is a bit sporty. Very delicate open wine, unfortunately the customer is really disappointed, with almost 10, - / 0.2 l glass of Chardonnay it is not possible to order 0.5l. You are informed that it is not possible to order an open wine in a 0.5l size. No customer-friendly intermediate size. The entire 1.0l bottle is sold for €55. The winery from which the very tasty Chardonnay is sourced, Weingut Bergdoldt, sells the liter of Chardonnay offered in the restaurant for just under €8. Despite all the love for the business and the costs, it is generally understood that this borders on usury. There are more honest and refined Asian-European fusion cuisine/restaurants in Potsdam. The volume (background music/general acoustics) is special. If you want to eat overrated food and drink overpriced drinks, this is the place for you. I can't recommend it.

Wir hatten trotz Reservierung eine kleine Wartezeit. Der Service war jedoch toll und wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Das Ambiente ist unten sowie auch im oberen Bereich wunderschön, jedoch ist es an Tagen wie Valentinstag ziemlich eng. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker. Jedoch finde ich die Getränkekarte (vor allem die Weinpreise) preislich zu hoch.

We actually had a date for two, but it was like sitting at a long table and we had conversations with the neighboring tables, which was ultimately the funniest part of the evening and helped to make up for the deficiencies in the service. Ein sehr schönes Lokal, freundliche Begrüßung. Das war es dann auch. Die sog. Tapas sind frittiert und weit von Frische entfernt. Alle auf dem gleichen einfallslosen Salatbouquet platziert. Das Hauptgericht (5 verschiedene traditionelle bla bla) bestand aus zerkochtem Pak Choi, Reis, sehr fettem geschmortem Schweinefleisch frittiertem Tofu (natürlich auf dem berühmten Salatbouquet) und erträglichem Lachs. Ein totaler Reinfall. Als Entschuldigung wurde der Wein von der Rechnung genommen. Der war aber eigentlich ganz gut. Preise sind für die Leistung komplett daneben.

On January 12, 25 I wanted to invite a friend to dinner at your restaurant. We needed to talk and were looking forward to the evening....but....We witnessed how 4 children were raised to be outrageous creatures with screaming and noise alongside their parents! they were able to let off steam. Unfortunately we didn't leave the restaurant. The waiter reduced himself to distributing plates and left us alone in our distress! Never again! Unfortunately, the restaurant in Werder "Zur Alten Überfahrt" is too far away, a place where the guest can be a guest.

Unfortunately we had the misfortune of sitting near 2 families with 4 children. It was very loud and the music added to it. The food was good. There is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of service. When asked about the noise, the waiter said they were guests just like them. The bottle of water was simply placed on the table. As a result, we didn't feel like having dessert. We don't go there anymore.

A culinary highlight! Every bite was a taste experience. The fresh ingredients and the perfect preparation convinced me. The stylish ambience rounded the whole thing off.

The service and the wine are very good. Unfortunately it wasn't the food. I have never had such a bad meal in any restaurant as in Keng's Country House. I chose the dish with four variations. These consisted of fried salmon, cooked ribs, cooked pork and a piece of beef. The salmon was overcooked and the ribs were tough. The cooked pork was so tough it was impossible to eat and consisted of a large proportion of gristle and fat. I felt nauseous for hours after eating. The piece of beef and rice were good. I give it two stars because the service, the ambience and the wine are very good.

Yesterday we went to “Christmas dinner” with 7 people. We were immediately greeted and kindly shown where we could take off our clothes and sit down. The ambience is really great! The drinks we ordered came very quickly and our waiter checked on us regularly, but also gave us time to choose our food. The advice regarding the food was also great and humorous, so that in the end everyone was happy with their choice. The dishes were absolutely delicious and sufficient, I haven't eaten this well in a long time. All in all, we are all very enthusiastic and can only recommend it. In terms of ambience, it's an absolute must and we're definitely on a star level here. The garden is incredibly beautiful and worth a visit. However, there are deductions when it comes to food. For the price level and the ambience you would simply expect a different quality of food. Conclusion, you can do it but there are definitely better and cheaper Vietnamese restaurants. We dined there on a Wednesday. It was surprisingly empty. The service was very accommodating. There is Asian fusion cuisine, I had tuna carpaccio and a super delicious coconut soup with shrimp. Everything tasted very fresh and extremely delicious!! The prices are very high, not something for every now and then. I have to make a deduction for the loud music, which is probably part of the owner's shop concept. All in all very very tasty.

Das Ambiente ist wunderschön, es gibt z einen schönen Garten aber auch der Innenbereich ist sehr ansprechend. Das Essen ist gut. Aber die Bedienung ist unterirdisch. Wir wurde um kurz nach 21:30 Uhr unser noch volles Bierglas versucht abzuräumen, mit dem Argument dass er einen langen Arbeitsvertrag hatte. Das geht gar nicht. Schade, ich fand den Laden sehr gut, aber als Gast möchte ich so nicht behandelt werden.

Food is really great. Unfortunately, the service was average at best (and that despite the high prices). You barely had time to look through the menu in peace before the food almost spilled on your pants. There was no checking whether the wine was gone and you wanted something from the bottle. The card was not brought back to you despite asking. We waited almost 15 minutes for the bill. Also, the tables are super cramped and the music was way too loud. Maybe it was just a bad day, but overall everything seemed geared towards mass and quick turnaround. This is not justified by the good, high-quality and relatively expensive food and drinks. But we definitely won't come back.

To this day I have always been very satisfied. An indoor cigar fair with 60 participants on the upper floor has nothing to do with upscale fusion cuisine. Here light and shadow often lie together. 1/2 duck sold out, for the same price there were 6-7 pieces of breast. After the "main course" it was not possible to reach an agreement with Miss Chef Schnippisch. How to bring about a state of satiety is not possible, the shape doesn't fit, we've never done that before, etc.

Ja super wäre möglich gewesen aber ein nicht unerheblicher Wermutstropfen war leider dabei. Örtlichkeit und Ausstattung sehr gut; das Essen ziemlich gut, Service noch Steigerungsfähig (wahrscheinlich zu wenig Personal). Der Tisch eigentlich in guter Lage unterm Laubengang aber leider zu dicht an den Abfallbehälter der Küche, etwas Geruch aber viel schlimmer die Grünen Fliegen; welche sich in rasenden Anflug auf dem Essen breit gemacht haben. Das ist hygienisch doch sehr zweifelhaft.

In summer you walk through the house and have a wonderful backyard, which is rounded off by a rectangular pond in which various fish swim. The waiter was very nice, the waitresses seemed a bit awkward due to their age. The prices for food and drinks are higher. The selection is also limited, but that speaks for the restaurant. The dishes we chose are unusual in that you talk about Vietnamese cuisine and fusion, and then you get a French duck or beef fillet (37.80 EUR) with your meal. The taste was very delicious and I highly recommend it. We'd love to come back.

11th wedding anniversary, it's a shame we've already been there once because this time with family (children) you get the feeling that the 2nd class society rightly has its name there. Wunderschönes Restaurant. Innen unfassbar stylisch, geschmackvoll und tolle Musik. Das könnte auch ein „Laden“ in New York sein. Hervorragendes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Absolut hochwertige Qualität. Innovative Getränkekarte. Es ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Zudem bei schönen Weiter ein fantastischer Garten mit Koi-Karpfen-Teich.

Es wurde mehrfach nachgefragt, ob alles ok ist. Das Preisgefüge ist gehoben, aber absolut für die Qualität gerechtfertigt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I cannot recommend Keng's country house for vegetarians. But the ambience is nice.

There were three of us in Keng's country house. The food was mostly very tasty and we are happy to pay accordingly for good quality. However, the service should also be good. But we found this to be rather lackluster. In particular, the lady who initially welcomed and looked after us (the service changed in the middle) gave the impression that she was annoyed by our questions about the menu and the request to turn the music down a little. The answers were taciturn and unhelpful. The music remained clearly too loud throughout the entire stay and at times its selection was not appropriate for the ambience.

I thought it was great. Starter of oysters, then a salad with duck breast, a little spicy with lots of Koreander...very tasty! Nice, attentive service, fair prices…a well-rounded package 😉

Das Essen war sehr gut. Hingegen war das Verhalten des Kellners unerträglich und hat uns den Abend verdorben. Nachdem wir eine Bitte und Kritik geäussert hatten, wurde zunächst die Bestellung dann der Service verzögert. Stillos für dieses schöne Restaurant.

Everything was excellent! We always enjoy coming here and enjoying the great food. In summer it is a dream to dine in the courtyard.

The food, the service and the ambience are simply great. Everything makes sense all around. Had a very pleasant stay. The "loud" music that was part of the concept when asked was a little disturbing if you wanted to talk in a group. I will definitely go back.

Restaurant gut besucht, Plätze reserviert. Am Tisch relativ dunkel, Karte lesen schwierig, auch für das Essen zu wenig Licht. Bedienung nicht übertrieben freundlich. Das Essen von unterschiedlicher Qualität, bei einem Gericht fehlten auf der Karte ausgewiesene Komponenten. Wurde aber ohne Kommentar serviert, auf Reklamation hieß es lapidar "ist aus". Schade, da eigentlich interessante Karte. Es scheint, als gehe es dem Lokal zu gut, zufriedene Gäste wohl weniger wichtig.
