Kelly's Irish Pub & Restaurant Ulm in Ulm

A very nice pub with two floors and an outdoor seating area. An excellent and extensive whisky list, including some unusual and rarer single malts.

So we celebrated a friend's birthday, and everyone was super nice and often asked if we needed anything else. The service was amazing. I had a bean soy pie, and it was really delicious :) I would definitely recommend others to go there. The music is great, too.

Today it was incredibly loud inside, with unpleasant table neighbors...subjective, of course... Food and drinks were great

Great Irish pub. The food was very good, but the bartender really needs to learn how to make a Lynchburg lemonade 🤔 but it was resolved well.

We're absolutely thrilled with Kelly's. The service was so incredibly friendly and relaxed, the food was soooo delicious, and the ambiance gives you an idea of how wonderful it is during the cooler months. We'll definitely be back.

I judt have to say that I don't like to be seated for food on a small table for two when the whole place is basically empty. The sentence "I want to have the 4 seaters free, because it will fill up pretty fast!" and then sitting on a small table is pretty customer unfriendly. The food was ok, but nothing special. What I disliked was a sticky table and sticky floor.

My wife and I took a short trip because we had some unfinished business in Ulm. Around lunchtime, we walked toward Münster and, on the way to the Danube, we spotted Kelly's Irish Pub. It's not usually our thing, but my wife loved the atmosphere, so we decided to stop there for lunch. The menu looked promising, and I ordered a beef pie and my wife had fish and chips. We were both extremely surprised! My pie was an absolute feast for the palate, and the fish and chips, according to my wife, were the best she'd had in years! The server was also in a great mood; you can't beat the price-performance ratio for this meal. What was also amazing for us was that we could have tap water upon request! You can't get that here in Baden!! So, folks, if you're ever in Ulm and want to eat really well and inexpensively, head to Kelly's!

Mediocre cafe, staff not very active. Beer was lukewarm, very wasteful.

Everything was simply fantastic. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Plenty of choice for vegetarians, too, and nothing run-of-the-mill. 😁

Friendly staff, delicious Irish beer, but there is also delicious light beer. We didn't eat there, so I can't comment on that. Overall, we liked it and would like to come back.

Nicely done, good ambience and Guniess good as always. But after the Guinness was served we were ignored for half an hour. Originally wanted to eat there too. The blonde waitress probably didn't feel like it today. After we were finally allowed to pay (basically only because the next table got attention) she left straight away without saying goodbye or anything. Service therefore -5 if it were possible. It was not possible to express criticism on site.

The beer prices are outrageous (there is no beer under €5.10) People kept holding the door to the smoking area open, so there was always a disgusting smell of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, the service staff was hardly visible on the evening of the pub quiz, so it was difficult to order drinks.

I did a number of training courses in Ulm and was looking for a cozy place to eat and drink beer after work. Great pub! The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is also very nice. It's a shame I won't be able to come by as often in the future! We miss a pub like this in Hamburg!

A super cozy bar on two levels. The food and drinks were very good. The food took over an hour and a half to arrive (it was a Saturday night), which was a bit of a shame. The staff was super friendly. The music level was a bit too loud, which isn't ideal if you're in a larger group (you have to speak a bit louder). 😜 Otherwise, a great bar for drinks in the middle of the city. 👍

The burgers were nicely presented, but all of our burgers were very dry. The meat was completely overcooked. The side of coleslaw for €2.70 fits in a 4cl shot glass. Sides like fries were very generous and tasty. Service was good.

If you like a rustic atmosphere and food, this is the place for you. The service is very friendly and the onion rings are really tasty. If a Guinness is too strong for you, you will also find other types of beer here that are tasty and not so strong.

Seit langem sind wir mal wieder im Kelly's in Ulm gewesen. Wir hatten den Irish Pub eigentlich in guter Erinnerung. Gestern Abend waren wir mit Freunden dort und hatten zwei Steaks und zwei Burger bestellt. Die Steaks sollten medium rare gebraten werden, waren aber beide völlig durchgebraten (Well Done). Es verwundert nicht, da die Steaks vorgebraten werden und bei einer Bestellung in die Mikrowelle gelegt werden, um sie wenigstens ein wenig anzuwärmen. Das Fleisch war zäh und kaum genießbar! Die Burger waren beide kalt, die Pattys "totgebraten" und die Buns waren eher mit einem Schwamm vergleichbar. Schade eigentlich, denn vor Corona (wir waren dort am letzten Tag vor dem Lock Down) war das Restaurant sehr gut.

The beer here is very tasty. Great cheeseburgers and cheesecake. Here you can also mix excellent cocktails. The waiters are friendly, especially the one who knows a few words of Polish. We are also learning Ukrainian with him!) The prices are very affordable.

Always a pleasure to come here and a regular guest from the opening! Whether pub quiz, live music, karaoke or just a pint of Guinness and something good to eat, just 👍🏻 Music, ambience and service/operation is mega perfect.

Wir waren gestern dort, als irische Familie, die in Baden-Württemberg lebt. Wir setzten uns an einen Tisch, der uns nur widerwillig angeboten wurde, da wir nur während des Weihnachtseinkaufs ein schnelles Pint trinken wollten – wie es Iren eben machen. Auf dem Tisch lag eine große Speisekarte, die ich zur Seite schob, wodurch leider die Kerze, die ich nicht gesehen hatte, vom Tisch fiel. Es war ein Unfall. Die Reaktion des Personals war jedoch einfach unglaublich. Der Ton und das Verhalten des Mitarbeiters waren absolut unverschämt. So etwas Respektloses und Unfreundliches habe ich selten erlebt. Offensichtlich sind wir gegangen, obwohl meine Eltern, beide über 80, dringend eine kurze Pause gebraucht hätten. Dieses Verhalten hat absolut nichts mit Irland zu tun. Es war schlichtweg beschämend und völlig unakzeptabel.

Guinness was very tasty. Have a large selection of drinks and whiskey. Have a large menu. Also vegetarian and vegan. One of the better Irish pubs I've been to in my life. Nice store, I will come back.

One point deducted for the frozen patties in the burgers and the missing dips for the fries. Otherwise rustic and just as you would imagine an Irish pub to be.

The fries were ultra disgusting. They tasted like they had been fried in the same fat as fish. But the rest was very tasty. You wait a long time for the food. It took an hour and a half from sitting down to eating. It's also incredibly loud. The music is very loud and therefore everyone talks incredibly loudly.

The service is friendly but takes time. Here it goes up and not down - funny. Partly lovingly designed like an Irish pub. Music selection OK. Guinness as expected. No bar to sit in during the week is a huge deficit for me. I'm alone here and sitting completely isolated. Quite nice for groups (more of a restaurant character), unfortunately not for solo travelers who want to socialize. It's kind of lonely here. I don't want to go there anymore.

I ordered a sauce and didn't get it. I accepted that and ate the fries without them. When paying I said that I didn't get the sauce but I still had to pay for it because you can't delete it from the system. Having to pay something for a service that was not provided is very bold

The food is very fatty. Fisch & Pommes especially. The atmosphere is generally cool, like in an Irish pub. But the food and drinks are not to my taste

Great food, great atmosphere, we'll definitely be back. We ended up here by chance through the Schlemmerblock, but we really enjoyed it. The only drawback is the drinks prices, which are excessively high, so a point is deducted. The rest is fine. By the way, the location is the former Barfüsser in Ulm. Update on Nov 24: I don't think we'll come here again. The prices are very high. The toilets were dirty and there was water everywhere on the floor. The paint is falling off the walls. The store urgently needs renovation. Too bad.

love the karoke night here! was so fun and the staffs are very friendly, warm and helfpul 🫶The food Ive tried: - Warm cheesecake with cream 10/10 its the best cheese cake Ive ever had! soo good💯🤩 the texture is fluffy, the sweetness is on point, it tastes so good when its warm. maybe even better with Vanilla ice cream (?) honestly the best cheesecake in townso far -my friend ordered fish and chips the fish are good, from nord sea - cheese jalapenos beef burger 7/10 the beef is well cooked, But I think it can be improved to make all the food become a whole instead tasted individually - pommes frites french fries 8/10 its good portion the vibe and ambience is so cozy and fun - i love the interior of the bar! Especially the open window. overall its a nice way to spend evening with friends and loved one here. its very cozy and definitely will come back!

Nicely made, good music, great service, fast, friendly and appreciative. Full downstairs, a bit noisy, then very relaxed upstairs. Very good Irish stew, fish & chips also good, great whiskey list. Our favorite yesterday Auchentoshan Three Woods, pleasantly mild, sweet, great scent of oak. Kelly's is already one of our favorite places in Ulm.

I worked in Ulm a long time ago and was there almost every day. I think this pub makes Ulm a little richer in terms of good food culture and great gastronomy. Since then, every visit to the city is a must to go to Kelly's. Always my pleasure.

A really very good restaurant, pub. The food was great. Irish and English dishes and of course other dishes. Kitchen top, service top, ambience top, location top. Everything is just right. The only thing missing was the typical stick dart, but it could also have been on the upper floor. Furnishings typical of an Irish pub and the toilets were, in my opinion, newly renovated, in top condition and very clean.

I have rarely eaten such a good pie outside of England. You should allow a little more time, but in return you get a freshly prepared, delicious meal for a fair price. The atmosphere is also really pleasant and invites you to linger for a longer period of time. If I'm in Ulm again, I know where I'll eat!

Shepherd's pie isn't really one. Maybe the ingredients are the same, but what is served here is very far from that. In addition, the portions here are much smaller than those in Tuttlingen, for example, but the price is the same. Go to Ireland or England and learn to cook food properly. The Irish pub in Tuttlingen is worlds better! The ambience next to a prison is not so great when you can hear people screaming in single-seaters there. Very disturbing for children...

Nice Irish pub in the heart of Ulm. Right next to the police and Münsterplatz. Here you can drink delicious beer and enjoy the Irish flair. The staff is great. The food is also recommended. The burgers in particular are a highlight. Pro tip: You shouldn't miss the pub quiz, which takes place every second Monday. It is worth it!

Love irish pubs, as i live in Dublin :)) This one seemed awkward at first sight, at the entrance. But after going upstairs it looks more original, kinda irish bar as it should be. Great pints,well kinda..the Guinness never will be the same as from an Ireland beer tap. Recommend

The Kelly's Burger is really good. The curly fries and onion rings are also very tasty. We'd love to come back when we're back in Ulm 🏆💪
