This is a wonderful restaurant where you can savor the flavors of southeastern Turkey. There are four or five other kebab shops and restaurants on the same street. If taste is more important to you than ambiance, this restaurant is ideal. The others are good too. I don't know what we would do without Turkish restaurants in Aachen.

This is how it should be – top service! Top taste! Whether you're passing through or a local – a pit stop here is definitely worthwhile. (Reservations recommended: call ahead)

No matter when you come: The food always tastes incredibly good. No messing around like elsewhere; here, the flavor is sacrosanct. Perfectly seasoned, simply top-notch. The team is consistently friendly, even when they're busy. Only downside: Drinks are a bit pricey, but you forgive that immediately when you consider the food. First of all, the welcome and customer satisfaction are top-notch. The owners and waiters are all genuinely friendly and helpful. The soup, kellepaça, is delicious and piping hot. The oven-baked pide (Turkish flatbread) was exceptional. The appetizers and salads were delicious and filling. The lahmacun was delicious, but the greens were chopped large and numerous. The döner kebab is very good. The köfte and Adana meatballs in the mixed grill are delicious. The chops were delicious, but the chicken seemed a bit sour to me. The İskender kebab is a very large portion. The meat is delicious, but the sauce is too much, and I think they should try a new recipe for the sauce flavor. They serve baklava after the meal, which is excellent. Your dessert cravings are met. One slice is enough, which is a great gesture. And it tastes good. They also serve homemade çiğ köfte (raw meatballs). We loved it.

The reviews don't reflect my experience at all! I was so excited to make the video and really looking forward to the meal after a long day. I ordered it via Uber because I had to stay in a hotel! When I started eating, the food was already cold, despite paying extra for expedited delivery. To top it off, the lamb chop wasn't there; instead, I got two frozen chicken wings. If the plate costs over €30, they should at least make an effort. When I called, a man answered who actually tried to tell me the Uber driver must have taken it out himself! 😂 I don't know how stupid they think I am, but it's really strange that the most expensive item on the plate was simply missing, and no replacement or anything was offered. Absolutely appalling!

In my opinion this is the best Turkish restaurant in the whole of Aachen the meat is extremely tasty no matter if you get a doner kebab or a normal doner kebab or even an Adana kebab everything will taste good there used to be another shop there which was also very tasty but you have to say that this shop is even better I recommend it to anyone who likes meat under the Mediterranean cuisine

Dear Kebab Restaurant Halil team, to be honest, I was expecting more. The döner kebab and everything else looked great (10/10 in appearance), but unfortunately, I have the following criticisms: - The meat was too fatty. - The service was indifferent. The döner kebab was unfortunately really standard, so in my opinion, it's not worth going to a Turkish restaurant specifically. Unfortunately, you won't see me again😕😕

Because of the excellent 5-star reviews, we were tempted. The food was okay, nothing special. However, it was relatively expensive and therefore not worth the price. The welcome was not friendly, and the service was not attentive or friendly.

Very tasty, hearty, and excellently seasoned dishes. I had the Yogurtlu Adana Kebab. A dream with the yogurt, garlic butter, and eggplant mixture. The homemade ice-cold Ayran was also excellent. Large portions at a good price. The service was attentive and friendly. They even got a couple of cubes of baklava with the chai. We would definitely come back.

Everything was delicious. We went from Holland. The taste is the same as in Turkey. We will definitely come again.

We ate there for the first time and were served by a grumpy, extremely rude waiter. When we finally wanted to take our food away, he told us that takeaway isn't allowed. We looked at him in surprise and said we'd paid for it, and we'd like to take it with us because we want to eat it at home—it's perfectly normal, really. It's outrageous. If I spend €60 somewhere, I'll take my food with me even if I can't finish it. What nonsense that this man then wanted to argue with us is the greatest outrage. I will never go back here. The food is mediocre, and that one waiter was simply in the wrong job.

Kebapçı Halil is not the only one in Aachen, I think it is a tradesman restaurant with a quality that will be among the top 10 in Germany. Those who have good taste come here.

Collaboration hardly knew any German

Disappointing experience – not recommended (Laurensberg branch) We ordered three Dürüm over the phone to pick up and stated very clearly: one Dürüm for the children with chicken, without onions, and two with lamb, spicy. Instead we got: two Dürüm with lamb, no onions and hardly any coleslaw - and the one for the children was with onions and extra spicy! That's not possible, especially if you say so clearly beforehand. Charging €31 for three Dürüm, which were sparsely filled, is really overpriced. Unfortunately the taste is not convincing either. For us this was the first and last visit – at least to the branch in Laurensberg.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly, but everything was still quite disorganized because of the new opening. There is no beer or wine, so it's generally better to just order takeaway. It is also very loud.

There was poisoning yesterday, and there is still vomiting and diarrhea because of the meat. I think this should be reported. Really sad.

By far the best Turkish food in Aachen! The operators come from Urfa and can do anything that has to do with meat. I would really like to highlight the quality of the ingredients (especially the meat) and the preparation. No matter what I tried and ate here, everything was on point. And I myself have my roots in Adana and know what a good kebab or a good Adana kebab should taste like. Doner is Yaprak, tasty and high quality. All types of kebab and Şiş are top. Pide, lamb chops also great. My favorite dish: Lahmacun. Lahmacun couldn't taste much better. Operators are also very friendly. I come here at least once a week and don't want to miss this store anymore. Prices may seem a bit expensive to some people. But for people who know how many Turkish restaurants don't make the most of the taste because they skimp on quality ingredients here and there, the price is more than just reasonable. We came here from Belgium for iftar and it was amazing. All meat types from the mixed iftar menu were delicious, the best meat I have ever eaten in a restaurant. On the menu next to the door, it said plain lahmacun was 3.5 euros. We went in and ate it. They wanted 6 euros for each. When we ate it inside, it was like that, and the lahmacun was also mediocre.

The kebabs were fragrant and tender, each piece just melted in your mouth. The light taste of smoke added depth of taste, reminding of the authentic way of grilling. Lavash perfectly complemented the meat: it was thin, slightly crispy and impregnated with the aromas of spices and juices from the dish. Toasted vegetables - tomatoes, peppers - had a rich taste, and their natural sweetness was in perfect harmony with the spiciness of the meat. Amazing!!!🤩
