Kebab Kitchen in Berlin

The owners deleted my previous critique, so i will write it again. I took a durum but they didn't put any sause and it was too dry, other than that it was okay. Also the benches to sit are very uncomfortable to sit.

Ordered, arrived slightly cold (that can happen, no problem). Unfortunately, the food delivered was the wrong one. I even paid extra for more, but that wasn't included either; presumably, the deliveries were mixed up. So, I called, introduced myself, and explained. Suddenly, they hung up. Okay, coincidence, so I called again, introduced myself, and they hung up again. After that, the phone just kept ringing. That's no service! Mistakes happen, but then you should actually fix them and not ignore your customers. Never again.

If you come during peak hours (lunch or dinner), the quality can suffer a bit due to the large number of customers. • Service: The team behind the counter is quick and efficient. Despite the high volume of customers at Hackescher Markt, I didn't have to wait long. The staff were friendly and relaxed. • Atmosphere & Location: The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Mitte. The restaurant is modern and cleaner than many other fast-food outlets in the area. There are a few seats available, although it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. • Value for Money: Absolutely fair for the area. You might pay a "Mitte premium," but the quality justifies the price. Conclusion: A really good spot for an honest döner or dürüm without any unnecessary frills. It's missing that certain "special something" for a full five stars (perhaps a homemade special sauce).

The food was good , and the price was good. The staff was friendly. For two ppl we paid 15 euros , I would recommend it.

Great kebab bowl with tasty kebab, salad, sauce, and salty fries. The atmosphere was great, and the owner had a great vibe. Friendly service, and the music was great! Nice for a quick bite to eat.

We arrived looking for copper and found GOLD. We went to Berlin knowing we wanted to try several kebabs, and after tasting them, we can say with 100% certainty that this is undoubtedly one of the best kebab shops in the city. From the outside, it looks like "just another one," and especially in winter, it doesn't exactly entice you because it's cold and there's no seating inside, but it's absolutely worth it. They have counters inside for standing and two tables outside. The service is very good, but the star is the kebab. I highly recommend it, and if I return to Berlin, I'll definitely go back to Kebab Kitchen.

The doner kebab is very tasty and reasonably priced. All the ingredients were fresh and the chicken was well-seasoned. I can recommend the sesame sauce.

By far the best kebab I've had in a long time. I can't understand some of the negative reviews here. The kebabs had a very wide selection of salad and vegetables. The sauces (garlic/chili) were perfectly balanced and delicious, and the finishing touch with fresh orange zest made the kebab truly premium. Plus a beer for €10, a great price.

I have eaten a fair few kebabs before and this place was fantastic. Service was quick and food was great, portions huge. There are standing booths inside and tables (uncovered) outside.

For us, this is the tastiest kebab in Berlin, with a very good taste. We'll be back again and again. The staff are particularly friendly, and it's clean. Everything is top-notch!

Man, what a kebab! Just look at the photo... it's absurd how beautiful this kebab looks. Tasted great as well. Staff was very friendly. Two thumbs way up. Thx.

Both the veal and chicken were served on the cheapest minced meat skewers. The sauce was made from mayonnaise. The bread was crispy but small. The salad was fresh but stingy, and the meat was overkill (because it's cheap, after all). All in all, a lousy tourist kebab for €7.50. Don't treat yourself.

The "Big Döner" for €8.50 isn't even as big as a regular kebab. On top of that, the meat is brazenly mixed with vegetables as soon as it's sliced. On top of that, there are a few other minor flaws that have completely faded into the background. By far the most disrespectful behavior I've ever encountered in a restaurant in Germany. It's even gone so far that I'm going to file an official complaint with the relevant authorities. A first in my life. We'll see if the owner responds or deletes the comment. That will determine where I'll be putting all my paperwork on the black market.

I had researched street food in Berlin ALOT. I knew I wanted to try Donair Kebabs. We were starving after our tour of the Reichstag and the river tour on the Spree so I googled and found Kebab Kitchen within walking distance. SO worth it. It is literally a hole in the wall with hard working men preparing and serving the sandwiches. Excellent flavour and value. Super busy street a block or two from Hackescher Market. Would highly recommend

Ordered via Uber, cold drink was in the same bag as the food (see photo) which led to cold food and fries leaking and sticking to the drink 😅Chicken and vegetable doner has its own flavor.. there was also a lot of sauce on it, just how I like it.. "Veal" minced doner meat tastes a bit like sucuk sausage but not bad.. hardly any tomatoes on it but too many onions.. okay, not a doner highlight but you can do it.

I can't recommend it at all. The sellers pack feta cheese and pomegranate syrup without asking if you want it. They ask you which salad you want, but then pack everything anyway and then say that they'll automatically pack it with a kebab (lying to your face, so to speak). Waiting 10 minutes for a 4/10 kebab is outrageous.

The meat and the remaining filling were quite good, but the flatbread of the dürüm was still practically raw.

There is no enough meat on the kebab! And they put potato on it to make it bigger. A shame. And the employee are not friendly. Also they to 1 euro extra to make it wrap. I’m not coming again and I don’t recommend it. And it’s expensive…

A very good, simple kebab. The meat was perfectly cooked and there was a good amount. Sesame sauce is recommended. Not too much salad. All in all, a very well-balanced product. I would come back again and again!

Crispy sesame bread and a nice salad inside the doner kebab. Despite it being late and certainly the last of the doner kebabs (the skewers were practically empty), nothing seemed spoiled, just fresh. I was surprised by the grilled vegetables! I thought they were incredibly delicious, and considering inflation, €7.50 is a reasonable price for a filling portion.

I can only write something about the delivery. I ordered a Dürüm Döner with extra cheese, but in the end I only got less meat and no cheese at all, which you pay extra for. So in future, dear employees, take a closer look at the order and then deliver. Money doesn't grow on trees.

Honestly, I don't really understand the reviews. The price is OK for a city location, but the overall product is so-so. I had a Dürum doner, and the most intense flavor was the tomato. Everything else was run-of-the-mill, and something about the greens was a bit sour (and that was at 11 p.m.). The so-called spicy sauce was also some kind of weakly spiced dressing. All in all, unfortunately, not worth repeating.
