taciturn and grumpy, but simply one of the best shish kebabs I've eaten in Germany. Definitely worth a trip to Wuppertal! It has a very special vibe where you would have a 200m queue in Berlin. Super!!!

The best shashlik in the entire Bergisches Land. Delicious, authentic, hot and fresh. The seller is a friendly man with a always funny saying on his lips. However, the price of €5 for a portion is a bit high.

The kitchen in Vohwinkel is an institution. You've been getting fresh, delicious food here for decades. In addition to all the usual things, there are also rather rare things like stews, fried potatoes with fried eggs, etc. Always quick, always delicious. Offers much more than the usual takeaways.

Unterdörnen 65, Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany We eat here often. The dishes change from week to week. There is a weekly burger and always fried fish on Fridays. A great team behind the open counter, a real asset to the market. Special requests are always fulfilled. I would also offer a vegi burger. 5 stars because you can eat really well here! Since the service is very good, it can get busy, especially on Fridays. I recommend making a table reservation here. Thanks to Tanja for this great service. I've known Volker behind the counter for ages. Just take a look here!
