Spicy in Wuppertal

We were loyal customers at Spicy Elberfeld for a long time, but the current performance is a huge disappointment. Another annoyance arose yesterday: A doner salad contained vinegar instead of the requested cocktail sauce, making it inedible. The bag also leaked completely. Another salad barely contained any yogurt sauce; it seemed dry and unloved. This isn't the first time such blunders have occurred. In the past, they relied on good quality here, but now everything seems sloppy and indifferent. When a restaurant disappoints loyal customers so often, it's no surprise that they eventually stop coming back.

I called the restaurant to place an order and gave them my address. However, the employee was incredibly rude. He told me that I had complained last time because the food was delivered late. He then asked why I was ordering again if I had already complained. I explained that my problem back then wasn't the food, but the long delivery time. Nevertheless, he told me not to order again. This kind of behavior is absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. I would not recommend a restaurant that treats customers this way.

There is nothing better than your food

I'm not the sensitive type. BUT what I saw was extremely disgusting and unhygienic. Last night, I ordered a classic pizza roll. While I was waiting, a customer came in who, unfortunately, apparently doesn't take care of his own hygiene. He unwrapped a lot of coins with his long fingernails. And the pizza chef took each coin piece by piece and counted it, then immediately started on the dough without disinfecting or changing his gloves. That's unacceptable! I'm not going there again.

We have always ordered from there but this time it was the last time!! Simply burnt!!! Then you call and you have to justify the burnt food and prove yourself and send photos! Then they say OK, come on, they'll get new ones, but they want to bring back the old burnt one that we threw away and they're still discussing!!!

The lady on the phone who takes the orders should learn how to deal with customers if she misunderstands the orders and also acts bossy. She doesn't let the customer excuse herself and assumes that the customer has lied and this happens again and again, only when she takes the orders. Otherwise everything else is perfect. The suppliers are all friendly and the food is delicious.

For more than 10 years it has been the only place I trust when it comes to - in my opinion - the best pizza rolls in Wuppertal. Ordering is sometimes a bit difficult, as you need a bit of patience to spell exactly what your name is and where you live. But it's definitely worth the effort!

We ordered through Wolt. Wrong order, not a bit of understanding. I wasn't offered any new food. Wolt responded great but the store itself didn't respond at all! Never again.

Called on New Year's Eve to order. We were told on the phone that only pickup was possible. No problem for us. When we placed the order, we were told in a very rude manner that the person on the phone had no idea how to write down the order and that we should just come over and then hung up on us. Since then, no one has answered the phone. Professional tip for next time: A pen and paper works optimally for writing things down (from my own experience)!

Store is supposedly open until 3:00 a.m. I called several times at 2:15 and no one answered.

Also ich muss sagen , das Essen bei dieser legendären Krosse Krabbe , ist wirklich das beste in Wuppertal überhaupt. Wenn ich danach aufm Pott sitze hab ich das Gefühl ich bin Millionär. 12er Pizzabrötchen mit Dönerfleisch und 3fach Aioli hat Legenden Status und ist nur zum empfehlen. Personal auch beste.
