Das Sushi war sehr lecker. Allerdings lagen auch die fritierten Rolls eng neben den kalten und scheinbar stand der Teller schon einen Moment, so dass auch die eigentlich gut gekühlten Rolls nicht mehr kalt waren. Der Service am Tisch war sehr freundlich und unaufdringlich. Allerdings nicht sehr aufmerksam obwohl wir gegen 13.30 Uhr die einzigen Gäste waren. Was uns in einem Sushi Restaurant dieser Größe sehr verwundert hat, war die fehlende klimatisierung. Draußen 37 Grad und die Fenster von außen nicht beschattet. Die Raumtemperatur war unangenehm und das für ein Restaurant mit einsehbarer Küche, das rohen Fisch verarbeitet. Eine Anfrage per Mail bezüglich Lieferung für eine größere Gruppe wurde auch nach Tagen nicht beantwortet.

2026 Meine Empfehlung - Rolle im Frühling (sehr leckere Vorspeise!) - Sushi: - Flying Noodle Es gibt verschiedene Mittagsmenüs von Mo- Fr 13-15 Uhr. Um die 10 Euro. Essen kann man mitnehmen. Wir waren hier abends Essen. Es ist sinnvoll abends zu reservieren. Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze gibt es in der Nähe. Die doppelte Eingangstür ist schlecht gelöst und man quetscht sich da durch rein. Wirklich super schöne Essenspräsentation von Sushi mit Trockeneis und Flying Noodels. Der Jasmintee und das Mochieis waren lecker. Die Vorspeise: Rolle im Frühling sollte man probieren! Geschmacklich alles lecker. Drinnen war es ziemlich laut auf Grund des vollen Ladens. Eine Reservierung würde ich abends empfehlen. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Klare Empfehlung.

Ganz gemütliches Ambiente, mit besonders freundlichem und aufmerksamem Personal und das Essen war einfach toll! Je nach Bestellung bekommt man auch eine besondere Dekoration bzw.Special Effects. Lohnt sich!

Es war lecker, alle waren super freundlich, auch bereits am Telefon bei Reservierung, waren sie anders höflich als man es kennt. Gerne wieder.

Ich war schon öfter im Katsu in Bad Kreuznach und komme immer wieder sehr gerne zurück. Das Sushi ist wirklich überragend gut – frisch, kreativ angerichtet und geschmacklich einfach top. Besonders cool ist der kleine Show-Effekt beim Servieren, der das Ganze zu einem echten Erlebnis macht. Auch auf individuelle Wünsche wurde jedes Mal freundlich eingegangen, was ich sehr zu schätzen weiß. Der Service ist aufmerksam, schnell und dabei immer sehr herzlich. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist modern und gemütlich zugleich – perfekt, um entspannt essen zu gehen, egal ob mit Freunden oder zu zweit. Außerdem merkt man, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und frische Zutaten gelegt wird. Für mich eines der besten Sushi-Restaurants. Klare Empfehlung – ich komme definitiv weiterhin regelmäßig vorbei!

Sehr leckeres Essen und die Limo klesse

Sehr leckeres Essen! Von der Suppe über Sushi bis zum Curry. Auch die hausgemachten Limonaden sind sehr lecker.

Das Essen war okay, der Salat leider nicht mehr gut und verwelkt. Für den Preis erwarte ich deutlich mehr. Portionen dafür auch relativ klein. Definitiv überbewertet.

War mit meiner Tochter hier zum Mittagessen. Das Sushi war absolut lecker, vor allem die crispy Rolls.

Sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes und aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen ist geschmacklich sehr gut, aber die Auswahl etwas geringer als im Katsu Ingelheim. Das Ambiente ist nicht ganz so einladend und hat noch Luft nach oben offen.

Hunger rein, Glück raus. Der Service ist so aufmerksam, dass man kurz überlegt, ob hier Gedanken gelesen werden – bleibt dabei aber wunderbar entspannt. Freundlich, schnell, humorvoll und komplett frei von aufgesetztem Service-Theater. Genau unser Ding. Das Essen? Volltreffer. Jeder Teller sieht so gut aus, dass man ihn eigentlich rahmen möchte. Dieses Vorhaben hält exakt bis zum ersten Bissen. Danach gibt es kein Zurück mehr. Perfekt abgeschmeckt, hochwertig, kreativ und schlicht verdammt lecker. Die Küche weiß ganz genau, was sie tut – und zeigt das mit jedem Gang. Jetzt zur einzigen, wirklich einzigen Mango: Das Restaurant könnte insgesamt einen kleinen Tick mehr beheizt sein. Nichts Dramatisches, niemand musste zittern – aber ein paar Grad mehr hätten das Wohlfühllevel endgültig auf Maximum gedreht. Unterm Strich bleibt festzuhalten: Im Katsu passt fast alles perfekt zusammen – Service mit Charakter, Küche mit Können und eine Atmosphäre, in der man gerne länger sitzen bleibt. Kein Blender-Laden, kein unnötiger Schnickschnack, sondern ehrliches Können mit Stil. Fazit: Wer hier nicht zufrieden ist, sollte vielleicht lieber zu Hause bleiben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder – dann mit leerem Magen und eventuell etwas wärmerem Pullover.

We, a group of four, including two wheelchair users, arrived at the restaurant without a reservation on a Friday evening. The ramp was set up without any fuss, and everyone was able to get in. Great inclusion! The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and attentive. Thank you. The busier the restaurant became, the louder it got.

The double entrance doors are a challenge. The interior is modern but slightly worn. Ordering was quick. The staff was friendly. It took 30-40 minutes for the food to arrive. The restaurant was almost empty. One dish was cold and tasteless. The other was good. Unfortunately, it was very expensive for what was offered.

The food was high quality, but nothing that really impressed me. Portions were too small for the price. We waited almost 35 minutes to be served. The server could have been a bit more attentive; unfortunately, this will be our last visit.

We dined at Katsu on a Friday evening and, anticipating a busy restaurant, had reserved a table online in advance. The Katsu in Bad Kreuznach is affiliated with the Katsu in Ingelheim, but the menus aren't identical... which allows for some variety. The staff were very friendly. The food was, as usual, very good. We had "Spring Roll" as a starter and "Grandma's Curry" and "Flying Noodles" as our main courses. Visually, the restaurant lacks a certain flair. The walls are blackened, creating large, bare black surfaces. The high ceilings reinforce this impression. To create a more inviting atmosphere in the dining area, I, as a layperson in interior design, would have appreciated some pictures, plants, or room dividers.

We went there for dinner on Tuesday. There were perhaps five other tables occupied, and the atmosphere was rather unpleasant. It could have been a bit warmer. According to the server, they were out of udon noodles. We ordered flying noodles as a substitute. The noodles were lukewarm at most when they arrived. The vegetables and chicken were rather bland for my taste. The pho soup (starter), however, was delicious. The waitress was very friendly. For the prices charged, I expected more overall.

We had another excellent meal there. The staff was very attentive. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine.

A nice option in Bad Kreuznach, good menu, decent selection. However, almost €7 for a lemonade doesn't quite add up compared to a €22 sushi platter. Service is inconsistent, and slow when busy.

The food here was okay, but nothing that really blew me away. They try to make things a bit more theatrical by placing a container of dry ice on the table to create a fog. I had a tuna tartare, which was good, and a duck curry. The curry was also good, but compared to other Asian restaurants in the area, I felt it lacked broth. I don't want to be overly negative with this review, but when I compare Katsu to other restaurants in the immediate area that offer the same type of food, the prices are extremely high, and the quality of the food isn't good enough to justify the price.

The whole place seemed somewhat unloved. The noise level was more like a train station concourse. The tables were simple. Not very cozy. We had a reservation, and it wasn't that busy, but it still took 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The service was very friendly, and they constantly asked for our order, but everything still took its time. The plastic flowers on the sushi plate were inappropriate and unnecessary. They also rejected a sushi menu on the gourmet menu board as a main course, which wasn't acceptable; it's not listed in the board. We probably won't go back because of the ambiance.

Chef Lutz was very surprised by how beautifully the dishes were presented. The soup, the shrimp appetizer, the flying noodles, and the dessert are highly recommended. Chef Lutz will be back.

The service was super friendly, the food was delicious, and even though it was very busy, we didn't have to wait long for the food. We will definitely visit again.

We visited Katsu in Bad Kreuznach today as part of a weekend trip. What we had here was, without exaggeration, simply fantastic. The service was super attentive; we even asked for water for our dog several times, which is by no means a given these days. And as far as the food goes, we weren't disappointed. The lemonades were very refreshing and, thankfully, not overly sweet. The summer rolls with the peanut sauce were fantastic. But what followed was the best pho we've ever had here in Germany. The broth was only poured at the table and tasted excellent, and the other ingredients were first-class. Above all, the spare ribs were an absolute revelation, so tender you could cut them with chopsticks. So if we're ever in the area again, Katsu will definitely be a stop for us again.

I ate here with my girlfriend (both vegetarian). We were extremely happy with the food and had a great selection. The service was excellent and incredibly friendly. We would definitely come back. We didn't really like the ambiance; it had a slightly indoor feel, and the acoustics were similar. Nevertheless, they tried to create a cozy atmosphere.

But hey, you don't always need to have golden dragons on the wall, etc. The food was really delicious, and the price is justified by the quality of the ingredients. The service was very friendly. I understand that certain dishes take time, and you're not on the run, but when you have to watch latecomers eat, you feel a bit fooled.

We wanted to order for pickup using the Schlemmerblock (gourmet booklet). We were told on the phone that this wasn't possible. You'd have to order two drinks and two hot main courses in the restaurant (does that exclude sushi menus entirely?). When we replied that this was what the Schlemmerblock listed, they didn't respond and finally hung up. It's a shame; that's not what we call hospitality.

A bit sparse when you first walk in. The food was great, though. The food was presented as a substitute for the table setting, which is a bit unusual, but it works. Reservations are recommended. We really enjoyed the taste and will definitely be back. The menu is available online, and the dishes come exactly as pictured. Special requests like no peanuts or avocados were no problem either; they even asked if it was an allergy or just a taste issue, which suggests they actually use separate equipment.

By far the best Japanese restaurant for miles around. A very extensive menu, fantastic food quality and flavors, friendly service, and a stylish ambiance.

Great ambiance, great atmosphere, superb food. We come here often and enjoy it, no matter the season. Even if we don't live nearby. The drive is definitely worth it. Parking is available behind the church. The opening hours are generous. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! Saturday evening, the restaurant was completely booked. Sure, okay, we had to wait longer. That's fine. But then we made a mistake: the wrong food. A total disaster for the kitchen. Our server had to take the food back. Less than five minutes later, we received a beautiful plate to tide us over, which was perfectly sufficient to bridge the time until our actual order. We ate there with friends last week and were extremely disappointed. We had reserved a table. When we arrived at the restaurant, it wasn't busy yet, and we were asked very quickly about our drink preferences. Our food orders were also taken very quickly. A total of eight meals were ordered. Up until that point, everything was fine. But then things went terribly wrong. Although it was obvious that we were traveling with six children, we had to wait about 70 minutes for our food. The most annoying thing was that all the tables that were occupied after us were served food before us; some of them had even ordered elaborate sushi platters. And when we asked about it, we were given a rather rude response that we were, after all, a large group. What I don't understand, however, is the fact that we didn't order elaborate meals, and especially considering there are children in the group, there was no communication or questioning about whether the children's meals should be served earlier. In addition, the food was very poorly presented, meaning it couldn't compare to the pictures on the website or online. The next shocker came when I paid later. I had ordered three children's plates, and if I hadn't asked, I wouldn't have been charged correctly. Unfortunately, a very disappointing visit.

A great place to feast...very friendly service in the historic Egg Market. We sat outside. We had tofu curry and chicken curry. We would definitely like to come back. We were here through the Schlemmerblock and are happy to have discovered this great restaurant.

There's no other way to put it, the food tastes absolutely amazing!!! I've been here for sushi several times. The staff is also incredibly friendly and absolutely commendably friendly!! Everything was clean and tidy in the restaurant (I only ever picked up my order, but the atmosphere inside was always clean and pleasant). !!!!!!!! BUT: the prices were already high before, but since the new price increase, they've been sub-par—or should I say super-par? High and really, really, just outrageous!!!!!! Sorry, but there's no other way to describe it. Small portions, rice is a main ingredient in the sushi, and even dishes with, for example, maki kappa (rice and cucumber?!?) have gone up in price, which is really outrageous for the small rolls! It's a shame, but since the price increase, when individual rolls—which were already very expensive—some went up by 2 euros, I haven't been seen here as a customer. As good as it tastes, it's no longer worth the overpriced price. Too bad! For anyone who wants to be full and doesn't have to worry about the price, this is absolutely recommended! 10 stars for taste and service! For the average Joe: buy sushi from Eat Happy at Rewe or Edeka; it's half the price and twice as filling. Of course, the food doesn't taste quite as good, but it doesn't have quite as bitter a taste afterward, considering you've paid the price 😅

Were there today. Luckily we made reservations because it was really busy. From the reservation to the payment, everything was great. Very friendly, attentive staff and very good service. The food was served 1a. We were totally surprised and positively thrilled. We will definitely be visiting there again in the near future. We can only recommend the Katsu. Unfortunately you can only give 5 stars each, they deserve more.

The food was very good and the atmosphere was very pleasant. But what really made this visit outstanding was the service from Kjell. So attentive, warm and professional - you always felt like you were in good hands. I can't remember the last time I was served so well. Big compliment and many thanks to Kjell – a real figurehead for the restaurant!

The food at Katsu is really very good! The sushi, in particular, was incredibly delicious last time – fresh, perfectly prepared, and tasted amazing. But the other dishes are also really good and highly recommended. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The wait is very long, and it just doesn't move fast enough. Plus, the restaurant is often very noisy. Nevertheless, I would go back again and again because the food is really good with the current chef.

If you want to go out to eat on Sunday evening, you should make a reservation to be on the safe side. We did that and were reminded again by email this afternoon about our reservation for 6:30 p.m. When we arrived at the restaurant at 6:22 p.m., all tables were occupied. The waitress said it would only take a moment until the table was free. At 6:40 p.m. the whole thing was announced again. After another 5 minutes of waiting, we left the restaurant because there was still no sign that a table would be available. You could have expected at least a drink on the house to bridge the waiting time. For us, an underground performance in terms of service and customer orientation.

There were 3 tables occupied at 4:45 p.m. and when we asked if we could sit down, we were told that everything was reserved without even looking at the reservation book. I haven't experienced anything so unprofessional in a long time! We were there for the first and last time.
