Freundliches Personal. Großer überdachter Außenbereich. Essen war gut und qualitativ in Ordnung. Einzig die Wartezeiten waren etwas lang fürs Essen.

Essen war Super. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Der Service auch sehr nett und freundlich... Leider wurden wir übersehen und hatten gerne noch was getrunken. Obwohl wir aufmerksam geschaut haben haben unsere Blicke sich nicht gefunden. Schade... Dennoch freundlich. Der Hof ist sauber und hat was... Wenn man Kritik außern möchte würde ich den Parkplatz direkt am Garten nennen... (Der eine findet das gut) Schön am Teich mit Springbrunnen gelegen...

Absolut top was Speisen und Service angeht. Immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Von Frühling bis Herbst lässt es sich auf der schönen Terrasse mit Teich wunderbar relaxen und genießen. Die Preise voll in Ordnung. Super auch als Ziel für eine Radtour. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher. Auch Dezember Feiern haben wir schon an gemütlichen Kamin und liebevoll dekorierten Tischen hier veranstaltet. Grundsätzlich immer besser reservieren, ist nämlich kein Geheimtipp mehr 😀

Kein perfektes Italienisches Restaurant, leider auch nur mit durchschnittlicher Küche! Preise klar zu hoch. Schön zum Draußen sitzen, etwas überlaufen. Service aufmerksam und schnell. Küche eher überfordert und langsam. Auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert, wenn es zu voll ist, dann wartet man auch mal >2 Stunden! Wie auch immer, viele Kunden scheinen es trotzdem zu mögen…

Wir waren heute mit einer größeren Gruppe vor Ort und waren begeistert. Sehr schönes Restaurant mit tollem Außenbereich und einem super Service. Ich hatte eine Pizza Tonno und habe selten eine so großartige Pizza 🍕 gegessen, wirklich fantastisch!!!

Terrasse neu gestaltet und vergrößert, bei schönen Wetter für die Terrasse sollte man unbedingt reservieren!☆Seit dem Besitzerwechsel wieder alles sehr gut. Familiengeführtes, italienisches Restaurant, sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber. Nicht zu große Speisekarte und wechselnde Gerichte die auf einer Schiefertafel zu sehen sind und sehr gute Qualität. Waren bereits etliche Male hier, auch Familienfeiern und immer waren wir zufrieden . Reservierung an machen Wochentagen ratsam.

Sehr schöner Italiner etwas außerhalb von Moers. Wir waren an einem Aprilabend mit 6 Leuten da. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das Essen wirklich lecker, sowohl Pizza als auch Tagesempfehlungen. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Einzig die Akkustik war recht laut, weil eine größere Gruppe hinter uns saß und man sein eigenes Wort nicht verstand.

Das Essen war schmackhaft. Das Personal sehr freundlich und unaufdringlich. Ambiente gemütlich, die Tischanordnung vielleicht etwas beengt.

Schönes Restaurant mit Wohlfühlfaktor an den Feldern. Im Winter brennt der Ofen. Nur die Stühle sind ein wenig unbequem. Es gibt einen großen Außenbereich zum Sitzen. Der Parkplatz für Fahrrad oder Auto ist direkt vor der Tür. Das leckere Essen wird schön angerichtet serviert, es gibt eine Tageskarte. Der Service ist freundlich und auf Zack. Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden.

Eigentlich dürfte man nicht zu viel erzählen, damit dieses Kleinod der Gastronomie nicht überlaufen wird. Die Lage, mit Blick in die Schwafheimer Felder, mit eigener Fontäne und ausreichend großem Parkplatz, ist gut. Die Küche ist fantastisch. Eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken in bester Qualität. Perfekt zubereitet, dekoriert und serviert. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind nicht nur freundlich sondern haben diese selten gewordene Mischung aus Freundlichkeit, Professionalität und Aufmerksamkeit. Die Toiletten sauber, frisch und sehr gepflegt. Für Freunde guten Essens in angenehmer Umgebung ein Geheimtipp.

Really, I shouldn't say too much, lest this culinary gem become overcrowded. The location, overlooking the Schwafheim fields, with its own fountain and ample parking, is excellent. The food is fantastic. A good selection of food and drinks of the highest quality. Perfectly prepared, decorated, and served. The staff are not only friendly but also have that rare blend of friendliness, professionalism, and attentiveness. The restrooms are clean, fresh, and very well-maintained. An insider tip for lovers of good food in pleasant surroundings.

Nice location, food ok, but price-performance ratio wasn't quite right

We arrived at 7 p.m. with a reservation and had to wait a while before someone came to us. Our first water order was forgotten. We waited 1.5 hours for our food, asked for blankets, but they didn't arrive. We then went to get them ourselves. When it's busy, more staff is needed, or you can't accept any more tables. However, the least we can do as servers is communicate with the guests and apologize. None of this happened. I then went inside to pay the bill, and there was an overcharge for two dishes. When I pointed this out to the server, he corrected it, but there was no proper apology. I'm annoyed that I even left a tip... The food was okay.

We've visited this small local restaurant several times. It's a great option, especially if you'd like to sit outside. The inside is also nice, albeit small. A reservation might be advisable if the weather isn't so nice. Sometimes, however, it's also advisable during peak hours, especially when it's very nice. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. We'll be happy to return here again and again.

A few days ago, on a warm Sunday, we were there with a group of six. The restaurant was busy and had a pleasant outdoor terrace, but could have used more umbrellas. Unfortunately, it took a very long time that evening, without any advance notice. This kind of thing needs to be better organized. After more than an hour, we ordered two portions of bread and suddenly received two baskets, aioli, and dip, which were also not charged. We don't know whether this was our order or a regular appetizer that was served free of charge. In any case, something like this should come sooner if it's going to take longer. The food wasn't outstanding, but for the price, it was mostly okay. Only the fish platter was unfortunately not perfect, as the seafood wasn't properly deveined and the fish was unfortunately completely cooked. Please pay more attention here. Without complaint, however, we were asked for a schnapps or espresso on the house for everyone, which was of course a nice gesture, so it still gets 4 stars.

The spaghetti with beef strips is an absolute must. The taste and soft texture was better than what I could initially imagine. Do you want to be blown away by culinary delights? Very good food! Super friendly staff. But... the selection of dishes is not very large, but the quality is good!

We were greeted unfriendly and not spoken to particularly nicely. After a bike ride we wanted to eat and drink there around 5:15 p.m. When asked if there was still a table available (there were many free tables outside), a young waitress said unfriendly “Wait a minute” and pointed her finger at us. That probably means we should stop. Then she disappeared and didn't come back. That was the end of our visit. As you can read in the recessions, this has happened to others too. It's a shame, actually a nice place.

Today we wanted to have a beer or two in the beer garden after a short bike ride. We had asked for a place for two. First they asked for a reservation and then they said there was no space. We discovered a small table at the front entrance. When we asked, we were asked if we would like to eat. When we said just drink and please pay by card, it said "card from 20 euros" consumption! Very bad service and not exactly friendly. Once and never again, there are nicer beer gardens in Moers and you will certainly be better received there.

This was our first time here and we would love to come back. Table ordered at 5 p.m. Almost all tables were occupied by 7 p.m. on a Monday. Service was very friendly, warm and the dishes were ready surprisingly quickly. Foccaccia portion generous. Pizzas large and plenty of toppings. Salad scampi with a refreshing orange vinaigrette. Tortellini with butter and sage very tasty, but the portion size is manageable. A starter is recommended for this dish.

First of all...I'll definitely be back!!! And looking forward to sitting outside in the summer!! So now to the current... I followed a recommendation with two friends and was very curious... I was absolutely not disappointed. The seating is a bit tight, the noise level is quite high ! However, the service is simply perfect!!!!, the light is very harmonious and cozy, The food is very good, (very, very good), I'm still dreaming about the taste of the dessert... I was looking for something, the Kastanienhof is not easy to find in the dark... it was more than worth it and I enjoyed being a friend and will definitely do it again!!!

Wir waren bereits mehrfach hier und fast immer zufrieden. Ausnahme: Bier vom Fass (König Pilsener) ist nicht kalt und Sonntag zwischen 12.30 und 13.30 Uhr sollte man meiden weil es voll ist und lange dauert.
